Ojalá pudiera darle a este lugar cero estrellas. Esto llamado salmón era una abominación profana y la estaca era un insulto a la carne en todas partes. No sabía a bistec, demonios, no sabía a nada remotamente comestible. La mala comida es una cosa, pero compartir el restaurante con roedores? Absolutamente inaceptable. No volvería si me pagaran. Este lugar necesita una inspección sanitaria — inmediatamente. Si valoras las papilas gustativas, la dignidad y la salud, mantente lejos. Comer aquí parecía menos una comida y más un castigo. My wife and I each ordered a steak and were more than satisfied. The meat was perfectly grilled with intense grill flavors - better than most steakhouses in Cologne. The price-performance ratio is great: high quality, fair prices, you'll be full. We would particularly like to praise the friendly service – a big thank you to the “Greek uncle” and the “Syrian brother”. Absolutely recommended!

If you're in good company and dressed warm (also inside) this place can be OK. Don't go for: great food, great atmosphere, getting warm, or great service - cause ferry don't deliver any of those...

We ate there today and were very satisfied. There were children's meals for the children and our food was also very good. The service was very good and even the children were well looked after. We'd love to come back.

We had dinner there on a Saturday evening in mid-March and had a Groupon voucher for 4x three-course meals. A tomato soup as a starter and a 250 g rump steak as a main course with a side dish of your choice. There was a small mixed salad on top :) And as dessert, a delicious homemade tiramisu. Wonderful! Everything tasted delicious. Although initially organizing the reservation between Groupon and the restaurant itself was a bit chaotic. However, the great service employees, Ewa and Ela, finally coordinated it very well. We sat outside in a heated outdoor area that faces a side street in the old town. Personally, I found that more pleasant than sitting in the middle of the hustle and bustle with tourists constantly walking past a table... It was very pleasant to sit outside, despite the temperatures not being high yet. Ela took great care to ensure that we never found any empty plates in front of us, that the courses were served quickly and that the Kölsch was delicious on tap :) All in all, we had a very great evening and would like to thank Ela & Ewa & the chefs very much for the wonderful evening and of course Groupon for the great deal. Highly recommended (at least the steaks, Gaffel draft beer & the service team) - despite one or another negative criticism. Thank you very much, gladly again!

The steaks were grilled to perfection. The potato wedges had a great crunch and were deliciously seasoned. Gladly again. One star deducted because I have difficulty climbing stairs due to my walking disability. Unfortunately, the toilets are on the 1st floor with a lot of steps 🙃

Unless you have a huge Groupon discount, avoid this place!! I ended up here as the place next door was full.. Burger was average, fries need to be ordered separately, they charge 5€ for 10 reheated fries that are too dry and too hard. I had to ask for a sauce for the fries, they brought me 1 tiny bag of mustard. I had to ask for more 5min later.. They serve the beers 1-2 fingers below the 50cl mark. And cherry on top of the cake, the waiter has the guts to type a price including what he wants as a tip before even asking me. First and last time for me!!

Disappointing visit – unfortunately not recommended We ate at this restaurant last week and were unfortunately disappointed overall. Our evening began with us being accommodated in a tent at the entrance - that was fine at first. But even the menu didn't make a good impression: it was very worn out and left the impression of a typical tourist mass processing. My wife ordered a fillet steak, which tasted OK. I, on the other hand, ordered the entrecôte with “fresh” vegetables – unfortunately a bitter disappointment. The supposedly fresh vegetable turned out to be frozen broccoli, which was also completely unseasoned. The meat itself was almost inedible – full of sinew and barely chewable. The quality was absolutely not appropriate for the price asked. The extremely long waiting time was particularly annoying: a full 1.5 hours passed before our food was finally served. At least the waitress showed a lot of commitment and always tried to explain in a friendly manner that it was particularly busy that evening. Despite the nice service, we unfortunately cannot recommend this restaurant. The poor quality of the food and the inadequate price-performance ratio make a visit not worth it for us.

Lunch menu very good and inexpensive. Sirloin steak with foil potatoes €15.90 plus two Kölsch, total €22.90. Update was there for the first time in the evening today, the same dish this time the landlord also has baguette with pesto and a side salad Served at the end 19.90€ with a Kölsch very good price-performance ratio. We visited Cologne for the carnival and found this restaurant on Groupon, where we got a great deal—€20 for two people, including two portions of schnitzel with fries and salad. Despite the lively carnival atmosphere outside, the restaurant itself was quite empty when we arrived. We ordered a Wiener Schnitzel and Cordon Bleu, and the meal started with a generous portion of salad as a starter. The main dishes arrived shortly after, and both were delicious and very filling. One downside was the loud music, likely due to the carnival celebrations, which made it a bit difficult to have a conversation. Overall, it was a great value for the price, and we left feeling very satisfied!

The ambience and the location are unimportant as long as the food is good. Wanted to have lunch with my partner the day after Valentine's Day with a voucher from Groupon and it was the worst experience ever. The manager of the restaurant was a very unfriendly and disinterested person, my partner was harshly forced to order when I went to the toilet. Raw common meat, although it wasn't even minced meat, a ready-made pattie and yet no apology or anything. Ketchup and mayonnaise in bags, not even bothered to put this in small bowls. No respect for customers, the reviews are obviously not real and I will continue to pursue it. No recommendation. If only we were treated with respect, but even when we said thank you we were shamelessly ignored. Inflation has affected us all, but human interaction shouldn't happen that way. No recommendations and I expect an apology

We had dinner in the restaurant yesterday. The burgers were very tasty, but the service staff didn't seem to really understand our wishes. For example, we were served a burger incorrectly and I received a cola instead of Kölsch. In addition, the waitress didn't ask us again at the end whether everything was okay. What should be highlighted positively is that the online reservation worked smoothly and easily.

Service was great, unfortunately the food was a disaster! Unfortunately, the goulash soup could no longer be identified as goulash soup - it tasted disgusting and burnt, the meat was rock hard and there was oil with lumps of flour floating in the soup. Unfortunately the steak was also burnt and not tender. It's sad that something like that calls itself a steakhouse. Unfortunately never again!

The service is totally unprofessional. 3 degrees outside and the door was always left open and you had to eat inside with a jacket on. We ordered medallions with baked potatoes. The curd on the potato was inedible it was so bubbling. So either the curd was bad or was made with sparkling water. My 300g steak was completely burnt, the fries were cold and the salad I ordered was not served. We left the food and were still allowed to pay for it. The store is not recommended. We got lost in the door. The shop next to the XL Agnus was better in every way.

The Black Angus rump steak was as ordered, medium. Very tender, very juicy. Supplement changes at no extra charge - great. Starter (Camembert) was tasty, but unfortunately a bit small for the price. The service was good, very friendly, all wishes fulfilled.

I don't even know where to start!? As brief a summary as possible: Why do people usually eat at a steakhouse? To eat a good steak! The quality of the meat was poor, definitely not the type that was specified and did not meet the desired cooking point. The service was generally friendly. We had a 3 course meal. We left some of the main course barely eaten and skipped the dessert and left. For me: NEVER AGAIN!

We had reserved a table for New Year's Eve, assuming we would sit in the restaurant. We were assigned a table (which was still dirty from the previous one) outside, which was not pleasant at temperatures around freezing point. When we asked, we were able to take a seat in the restaurant, but it was also very cold here and water was dripping from the ceiling. My husband ordered a 400g rump steak, which was the same size as my 250g steak. When we pointed this out to the waitress, they just laughed it off. The steak was lukewarm, but the quality was good. My baked potato was cold. The older gentleman who served us would also benefit from a little more friendliness. We left the restaurant cold and disappointed.

A truly excellent restaurant that impresses in every respect! The meat was perfectly prepared – cooked to perfection, juicy and of excellent quality. A first-class wine was served, which harmonized perfectly in terms of taste and rounded off the entire experience. Even the fries, often just an afterthought, were crispy, fresh and simply delicious. You can immediately tell that a lot of emphasis is placed on high-quality ingredients and loving preparation. It was delicious but it didn't convince me. The cut was very thick so it wasn't cooked very well in the center and I like well-cooked meat. We didn't have to wait because there were only 2 tables occupied.

Disastrous food, long wait for overpriced cheap food. Waited over an hour even though the store wasn't full. The meat was a complete disaster! Unseasoned, bland, tasteless and definitely not well prepared. After I complained to the waiter that the meat was still extremely raw, after a while I was given a new piece of beef... But that was still disgusting as the first thing. Paid almost 100e for 2 plates and 2 drinks and then were served such cheap dirt. NEVER AGAIN! ABSOLUTELY NO STAR DESERVED!

We came on December 31st on New Year's Eve, unfortunately our meal was ruined, we had ordered 2 black angus meats when the meats were served to us, a horrible smell emanated from the meat and the taste had a taste of rotten. The manager apologized but the cook must be aware that he cannot serve expired and rotten meat at the risk of serious consequences for the customer's health.

The ceiling under the toilets leaked and leaked onto the floor next to our table. We were allowed to change tables, but shortly after the food was served, a rat scurried under our table towards the bar. We alerted the cellar about it. He justified it by saying that a nearby construction site was attracting the rats. Unfortunately we've lost our appetite. Initially, the cheaper of the two dishes ordered was given away. The restaurant wanted to at least get the maximum amount of money out of it. We refused to pay for a meal where rats might have tasted it before. Instead of showing understanding, they said: “Should I remove both dishes from the bill or what should I do?” Unfortunately it has little to do with gastronomy. Maybe the film idea for Ratatouille came about here…

It's not okay that you have to make a reservation and specify a time for when you want to eat and then have to wait up to 45 minutes at least to be allowed in. Then I don't need to make a reservation!!!! That wasn't okay... We then went to another restaurant. Where we got a table straight away without a reservation!! The steak there was extremely good...

Citizen was not delivered as ordered and that Cordon Bleu was completely fried to death. An attempt was made to excuse the poor quality of the food with a free tiramisu. The quantities of side dishes (French fries), worth €5, are clearly too disproportionate compared to the quantity on offer.

The food was very tasty, the service was very nice, the only thing I can complain about was that it was a bit cold in the restaurant, otherwise everything was great 🍔👍🏻

Wieder einmal besuchten wir mit GROUPON das Steakhaus Angusto, weil wir nur gute Erfahrungen dort gemacht haben. Auch diesmal wurden wir sehr freundlich empfangen und uns ein schöner Tisch im Außenbereich mit Heizstrahlern angeboten. Die nette Bedienung (Carlo) brachte die Getränke umgehend und auch das Menu (Tomatensuppe, Salat, Steak und Tiramisu) wurde sehr schnell serviert. Alles hat bestens gemundet, besonders das Steak war sehr zart und auf den Punkt. Wir können das Restaurant nur empfehlen und kommen bestimmt wieder.

If you're from Australia, save your money! Actually, save and buy a steak from Chophouse in Sydney!

First wait an hour for the food. Also noticed in the restaurant that others were irritated by this. People next to us left without eating because it took so long. Then ate a fillet steak for 38 euros that was certainly not worth the money. The icing on the cake was that after eating the steak I saw that there was a receipt underneath it. Incomprehensible. Ultimately, after an altercation with the waiter, we received a dessert as compensation after declining a coffee.

Unfortunately, the steak was cold when I visited, which significantly reduced the enjoyment. Despite polite service, this is unacceptable for a steakhouse.

Unfortunately, we ate mostly German, and not Argentinian dishes, but everything was tasty. The service was great.

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with my visit to the Augusto restaurant in Cologne. The waiting time was unreasonable - we waited almost an hour for our food, even though the restaurant wasn't overly busy. When we asked politely, the service staff dealt with us in an extremely unfriendly manner, almost annoyed. The price-performance ratio also left a lot to be desired. For the rather high prices, I expected significantly better quality. Instead, the portions were small and the taste was unspectacular. Overall, the experience was far below my expectations and I definitely won't be returning.

Waited 1 1/2 hours for baked frozen vegetables. Were there with 20 people. Some got their food an hour before me. There was still dew water in the food and no taste at all. As a main course, you can expect the vegetables to be fresh. When I told the waitress after more than an hour that I really couldn't take it anymore because I was hungry, she replied ohhh and walked away.

Doesn't the picture say enough? ;) At 22 years old, it is the older of the two steakhouses that are next to each other, as has been said. We both ordered 400g each, one skirt steak and one rump steak. Plus side dishes, beer and a cocktail. We were given very nice advice when making our selection. Service and ambience were great, but 400g was too much. I would happily recommend the steakhouse every time, the prices are very low for steak I would say. But the preparation is at a very high level.

This is the worst restaurant I have ever reviewed so far. We were here once last year and had a very good impression, but we won't be coming back. We had a Groupon voucher (3 courses) and felt that right from the start. We were not greeted properly and immediately felt unwelcome. We were placed outside at the end of November. Our request to eat inside was denied on the grounds that the seats had been reserved. In fact, the seats were never filled. We were led out in an unfriendly manner and were able to choose a place. There are radiant heaters placed on the ceilings, but at 0 degrees these only provide homeopathic doses. However, there were blankets everywhere outside. The first course was a tomato soup. Unfortunately one of them was cold. Because of the unfriendly greeting, we didn't want to let anyone know. The soup was probably convinient and had hardly any taste. In addition to the soup, we were also brought the side salad, which actually belonged to the next course. This salad had variety, but was drowned in dressing. The fold to the stem was not removed from the tomatoes. This is technically insufficient and only a small step. The main course consisted of the salad, a steak and a side dish that you could choose. The question was asked about the doneness. We wanted it medium. The steaks were not salted or peppered. But they had herb butter on them, which strangely didn't melt. We got it partially alive. Of course we told this to the waitress, who apologized and brought the steak back to the kitchen with our request that it be cooked through. The steaks both came back in the same manner. We then sent a steak back to be fried again. All we heard from the waitress was that the chef was angry. Unfortunately, there would be no apology for the cook's incompetence here, but rather the guest would be blamed - strongly! You could then see that the cook was angry. The steak came back black and in fillet pieces. The provocative question was then asked whether the steak was as desired. Of course it wasn't, because here the chef suddenly tried to start an emotional power game. During the meal the waiter tried to explain that the steak was not medium rare but rather well done. Of course I noticed it too, but better than raw. The waiter then stood next to me in a harassing manner while I ate the burnt steak, which he took careful note of. The last course was a tiramisu. It was actually quite tasty. Unfortunately, you didn't get a real piece, but rather an estimated amount of medium type and quality. The tiramisu was served on a plate with one edge broken off. And now for the service: The service did less than the minimum. We were neither properly greeted nor properly farewelled, let alone treated like guests. The food was served carelessly and not coordinated. You were asked what you would like to drink before you were given a card. The next and last time we were asked was when we wanted to leave. Our wallet was on the table for a while. However, no one came to give us the bill. After the steak was returned, all we got were strange and “threatening” looks. It was clear that if the guest made an effort, he was not welcome here. This children's game reached its climax when the waiter deliberately closed the door in my wife's face as she came from the toilet. As others report, we didn't find any cockroaches in the toilet. It just smelled like urine. As a local guide, I can only recommend this restaurant for restaurant rescue soaps.

The place's portions are big enough. It's in a side street, next to St.Martin's Church. The interior is beautifully designed. You can sit comfortably. There is no problem with the service. Portions are large. We bought the mixed roast lamb plate for two people, it was more than enough. Cologne beer was amazing. For a normal meal, you'll spend around 20€ per person, depending on your order.

Very nice service, delicious side salad and juicy turkey steak. We didn't have to wait long - overall very worthwhile.
