The best argentinian rumpsteak.

Beef Club in Cologne unfortunately did not meet expectations. Although the restaurant is located in a great location, which somewhat justifies the price, the meal itself was quite disappointing. The burger was mediocre - the meat had no special taste, and the bun was old and falling apart, which significantly reduced the experience. The overall taste was rather impersonal, without any of the wow effect you'd expect from a place with this reputation. The pomes was old and probably just a little warmed up, without the freshness and crispiness you'd expect. The only bright spot was the polite staff who were friendly and helpful, but unfortunately this is not enough to make up for the poor quality of the food. All in all, Beef Club offers much less than you'd expect given the price and location. If you're looking for a place with good burgers in Cologne, this restaurant might not be the best choice.

great ambience; Unfortunately the waiter was sooo unmotivated and unfriendly. So unfortunately no 4 currywursts. He also chased away people four times who were sitting two at a table of four. Then we paid for the drinks and left. That's why we unfortunately can't rate food.

Salad was served without dressing in an aluminum bowl, the waiter then only brought us oil because he didn't understand us, after further questions we were told that there was no vinegar in the house... In the end we put balsamic vinegar, oil, salt and pepper on it We were given a table and had to make the dressing ourselves for 18 euros with really little salad...! Never again!

When I was there it was very busy, so the service suffered. If there is less going on it will probably be better. The ambience is pleasant, with plenty of seating outside. The food was very good, the quality of the food and the preparation was impeccable. Definitely recommended.

Incredibly rude and unhelpful. Charged us for things on our bill that we didn’t ask for or want and they refused to ammend them or correct when we corrected them. Forced us to pay for things we didn’t have. Pretended not to understand English to avoid discussion with us. Ashean (might be spelt differently) was incredibly rude and ignorant. I’d avoid if I was you.

I would like to complain about an extremely unpleasant experience in your café that occurred on August 13, 2024. Unfortunately, the service during my visit was not only disappointing but also disrespectful. The waiter (Iranian) who served me spoke to me in a very rude and impolite tone. He made inappropriate comments that gave the impression that he had little interest in treating me respectfully as a guest. I was surprised and upset by this behavior, which is completely unacceptable for a cafe that should value hospitality.

Ewigkeiten auf die Bedienung gewartet und das Essen kam nach langem warten vor den Getränken an. Keine der Bedienungen hat sich angesprochen gefühlt und immer auf einen anderen Kellner verwiesen. Beide Pizzas 🍕 waren von unten schwarz. Essen war ganz lecker, aber dafür werden nicht nochmal dahin gehen. Sehr schade eigentlich.

I would prefer to give 0 stars. You are insulted and thrown out because not every person orders something, even though both food and drink were ordered. Reason: The rent cannot be paid on this basis. Not recommendable! There are enough restaurants in the old town that are friendlier and offer the same food.

I can't say anything about the food. But the cocktails suck. It's definitely better to go somewhere else for a drink.

Very bad, annoyed and unfriendly service!! We ordered food and drinks. When we asked if we could have a glass of tap water (that's what the child likes best), the answer was no. The food was rudely slammed on the table without making eye contact. When she brought us the bill, she put it on the table, I said separately, she left and said "yes, then you can do the math," so I've never experienced anything like that. When she came back and I didn't round up the amount she said "Yes, what are you doing, are you rounding up or how do you plan to do it?" When the answer was “no,” she literally threw the change on the table with the words “suitable” and left. So the service really sucks!! Steak was delicious but I ate it with a conscience that was probably spit on..... NEVER AGAIN !!!

Wanted to buy a bottle of water and borrow the toilet. The waiter wanted 10 euros... sorry that's not the way it works. We were a family of 7 trying to find a restaurant for lunch. Sorry we missed the opportunity dining here.

The food was tasty, but that's about it! After waiting a long time we had to call the waiter ourselves to order. The food came quickly, so nothing wrong with the kitchen, but the waiter was unfriendly and was vaping while working. When we wanted to order another drink, we first had to pay for our food inside. In our opinion, this waiter definitely did not deserve a tip, but he did not agree with this and started a heated discussion with us. We were even literally pushed out of the restaurant after paying. Never experienced such unfriendly staff in a restaurant. I definitely wouldn't eat here.

Ignored by the waiter when politely asked to pay. When we eventually did get the waitress she yanked our bank card out our hand when we asked to pay by card. Then proceeded to shout at us. Meal good but really not exceptional. Service without a smile. Charged €9.90 for 70cl of water. Tourist trap, I still have it across my throat.

The food is very good but it's a shame that our meal was spoiled by bitter staff and a saltier bill than we thought. We had simply asked for a bottle of mineral water and they took the liberty of serving us and charging us for a bottle of water without telling us the price and without asking us any questions: almost 10 euros for a 75cl bottle, that's about the scam. They took us for big pigeons. I strongly advise you to go your way!

Unfriendly service with poor knowledge of German, The burger was almost cold, pizza was black from the bottom and way too late when everyone else had already finished eating. Basically everything took too long. Unfortunately I can't recommend you.

Don't come here! Terrible service, unfriendly, slow, and looking away when you ask for something. Ask for tap water and you have to pay 10 euros for a bottle...

Biggest juice shop the conditions are rude and treat the guests badly. Too much money was taken from the card, cash was thrown across the table and you had to wait over an hour for your food. A drink was not brought after repeated requests.

Food was a Haxn, which I only know from my Bavarian franc. Of course I don't know about 1.5 kg, but it was fantastic. Plus the very friendly and quick service. The atmosphere was great especially with our guests from England, Serbia, Slovenia and the Netherlands. They created a great atmosphere on the street.

Very unfriendly service!!!!! There were three of us and only one of us wanted to order something to eat. We were then told that everyone had to order food because otherwise they wouldn't make any sales. It's a disgrace that you are forced to eat something!!!

The waiters were so rude, every time we asked for something we were shut down and sometimes yelled at. At the end they make you pay mandatory tip after the terrible service. Please avoid at all costs!!

Excellent food, steaks cooked to perfection and of high quality. We were there on Sunday lunchtime, of course the service is slightly stressed and the waiting time is longer. But when the weather is nice on the banks of the Rhine, what can you expect? Overall great and we'll be back!

Salad brought when all the food was already gone. In this salad there were 3 halves of mini tomatoes and 4 cubes of cucumbers under the green lettuce leaves. And that for 8 euros. After we rejected the salad, it was neatly removed from the bill. Pizzas were ok and drinks too

The food was horrible! We ordered steak and seafood.The steak was unsalted and looked nothing like the photos, but it was eatable. However, the seafood even smelled. It had some water underneath and looked horrible.It was obvious that the seafood wasn't fresh.And the price was so high we paid 60€ for the food and water. And when we wanted to complain, there was no waiter...we literally had to wait almost 20 min for a waiter to come and tell us that we had to pay inside By the way, they don't even speak very well German and English The most horrible experience

After a long wait for service, we were told in an unfriendly and reproachful manner when we ordered that our dishes wouldn't all come out at the same time - without us asking for this. A dish was forgotten and only brought when asked. The food was overpriced and mediocre, and the portions were rather small. The service was unfriendly and uncaring. When we asked for the bill we were told that our waitress would be there shortly. When we still didn't have a bill after 15 minutes and our waitress apparently couldn't be found, we asked again. It wasn't until half an hour later that we got the bill. When we only wanted to tip €1.90 due to the poor service, we were told in an unfriendly and accusatory manner that that was very little and that the tip was not included in the price. Absolutely terrible service - the waitresses are only interested in tips but do NOTHING about it. No recommendation!!

Warm stale beer. If you ask the waitress about it, they will yell at you that it's not right. Bad service, bad beer... Luckily there are some better bars and restaurants here ;-)

Food was ok, location nearby the river is nice. But food took over 45 minutes to arrive despite not being peak hour. Most of all the service was very unfriendly and very pushy for a tipping even if definitely not deserved. There are a lot of other places around, better to check those out.

The only thing you need to pay attention to is that all meat products are cooked on the same grill. I ate pizza and it was very good.

Sorry guys, but stay away!!! There were two of us who wanted lobster, when we arrived we were given a totally dirty table. The two of us ordered 2 cocktails and 2 lobsters for a total of 160€. The lobster was unseasoned and dry, with wedges, no sauce or salad, my companion got half a lobster with beef fillet and rice, just as dry. When I pointed this out to the waiter, we were given a cheap salad with mayonnaise and a few sachets of fast food ketchup, mustard and mayonnaise, don't forget the meal cost us €160 for 2 meals and 2 cocktails without alcohol. And the women's toilet was extremely dirty.

We were there last weekend and saw this restaurant. Because of the ambience and what was on offer, we took a seat. After a short while a waiter came who obviously didn't want to work. Our drink came first, but the beer was rather warm and tasted stale. At some point the food came, when I saw the schnitzel I immediately thought to myself: For 15 euros a small schnitzel from the deep fryer and then fried for too long. Unfortunately it was dry and had nothing to do with schnitzel. The fries were missing salt. There was no salt to sprinkle and the waitress didn't show up in between. My girlfriend's food, however, was good. She had currywurst fries. So nothing difficult😂 When we noticed at the next table that they were also complaining about the very expensive water, the drama began. The waiters bitched at each other about whose row belonged so that everyone could collect their tips. When a family of 8 people arrived there were only tables in two different rows. She turned the guests away and replied that they could only sit in “her” row. However, since they were further apart, they went to another restaurant. Here you only care about your tips and not about service or making money. In any case, the customer is not king. When I asked my waiter when I was paying that my food and drink wasn't okay, the only thing that came back was: they had finished. He didn't take the feedback at all. Instead he wanted to sell us a drink. When he didn't get a tip he was pissed... We discovered a day later that this restaurant has two others in the corner, so be careful.

Waited ages for service and the food arrived after a long wait before the drinks. None of the waiters felt addressed and always referred to another waiter. The food was delicious, but we won't go there again. It's a shame actually.

Food was very good. Argentinian rump steak and shrimp skewer. The shrimp skewer was a bit unimaginative. Only with rice as a side dish and nothing else. A 0.75l bottle of water for just under €10 is outrageous. Service was very attentive.

We were there yesterday with 5 girls. The food was delicious for everyone. From fish to meat, everything was there. The pepper sauce was also very tasty. The waiter was nice and accommodating. We'd love to come back.

Going to FIBO at least once has been standard for 7 to 8 years now. You always find a place. Food is delicious and meat is very pleasant. Waiters and service take some getting used to but if you have some fur/fur they are really nice. Drinks are always perfect too. Not far from the trade fair and cathedral! Very much!

The taste of the food was good. We had the grill plate. The quantity was sufficient but not excessive. But no garnish on the plate. Really the three pieces of meat, fries on the side and you're done. The waitress didn't come to pay, so we ended up going in to pay. But the food came quickly and the price was better than next door, where it is completely overpriced. It was also expensive for a small family, but given the location on the bank, the rent is certainly not cheap and you count that. The chairs and tables went like this. The seat cushions urgently need washing.

I had dinner here with some business partners. Food is ok so far, but what happened to us when we paid was unbelievable. Since my business partners were all from Spain, we spoke English during the ordering process and also during the meal, so the waiter had to assume that none of us were from here. When I paid, the bill came (107 euros) which my business partner wanted to pay and meant "5 euros tip". The answer from the waiter was that that wasn't enough and that in Germany a tip of at least 10% is due. If less than 10% is given, he has to pay the difference out of his own pocket. I then tuned in in German. We will not visit this restaurant again because of this rudeness.

But they gaslit us when we said we ordered Coke Zero and it tasted like regular coke. Pizza was ok. The chicken nuggets are from McDonald’s. Peep the photo. Evidence is there. Don’t get pulled in to a tourist trap on the water! More on tip — we went to pay with credit card, our total was €48. When we went to put our card into the card reader, waiter typed in €54 euro and said that’s what it was “with tip” we asked if we could kindly leave a tip in cash but pay in Euro and he said that wasn’t possible. We did tip with cash eventually but they were very adamant that they wanted 10% and they wanted it on the credit card. We would not recommend and we wouldn’t eat here again.

Impudence!!! Water is listed on the menu as pure gourmet water for €9.90. We got Gerolsteiner water for exactly this price. When we approached we were told we could talk to the owner. This was not available upon request. Price was paid, but still a complete rip off.

Were here yesterday evening. Sat outside at a dirty table. Service was really bad. Nobody wanted to take an order. After a very long wait for everything, the lukewarm food arrived. This restaurant is an absolute disaster. Once and never again!!!!! I have never experienced anything like it. Unfortunately I had to give it 1 star to post.

I will not visit this restaurant again. Miserable service. Tusch was dirty. Staff annoyed. Even though there was a lot to do, the workforce had to cope with it. We talked for a long time with fellow countrymen, and the waiter who wasn't there at the time was always responsible for ordering drinks. Food lukewarm, fried potatoes were completely oily. The sauce was completely runny and had no taste. 2 hours from ordering to payment where you had to walk 100 meters further to another restaurant to pay with a card, very strange. Maybe others have had better luck. Never again for me.

Unfortunately, the service was arrogant and our order wasn't right either, since we don't just mean black tea by various types of tea, which is what we got, but also green tea, fruit tea, etc.

Wir waren gestern am Silvester Abend da. Der Service war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war schnell da und auch sehr lecker. Top Fleisch und die Pommes sehr knusprig! Auf Fragen und Wünsche wurde eingegangen. Kommen gerne wieder :)

Super Lecker ! Kann ich nur empfehlen die Pizza ist super lecker dazu schmeckt der Rand äußerst gut war schon öfters da essen bin mehr als zufrieden. Wer in Köln ist muss es ausprobieren

Wir waren dort gestern essen und hatten uns eigentlich gefreut. An sich ist die Lage sehr schön und das Ambiente. Die Bedienung war freundlich. Leider war das Essen überhaupt nicht gut. Sehr lieblos angerichtet und kaum Pommes. Das Steak hatte überwiegend Fett und schmeckte sehr bitter. Der Burger war bezüglich des Fleisches absolut trocken und kaum zu essen. Die Getränke total abgestanden. Leider überhaupt nicht weiter zu empfehlen.

Das Essen kam schnell, aber der Burger, den ich bestellt hatte, war nicht vollständig gekocht und schmeckte nach Fisch.

Soeben haben wir dort zu Abend gegessen. Wir fangen mal bei der Bestellung an. Ein Radler und eine Coke. Auf die Frage hin, ob es sich bei der Coke um Coca Cola handelt wurde das bejaht… die Getränke wurden geliefert, ein Radler und eine Sinalco Cola 🤮. Man mag mich für pingelich halten, aber nö, ich trink halt nur ne echte Coke gerne. Hätte ich’s gewusst, wäre es ein Wasser geworden. Zum Essen: bestellt haben wir als Vorspeise einmal gegrillten Pulpo (Oktopus) und als Hauptgerichte eine Dorade mit Rösti und ein T-Bone mit hausgemachten Pommes. So weit so gut. Der Pulpo kam an den Tisch, und mit ihm das Erwachen 🙈. Wir beide konnten den Pulpo nur am Aussehen der Arme erkennen, geschmacklich hätte das Ganze auch Mehlwurm oder in Form gepresste Haferkleie sein können. Wer weiß das schon so genau. Wäre da kein Knoblauch dran gewesen, hätte es einfach nach nichts geschmeckt. Für schlappe 18€ eine Frechheit! Als wir dann mit der Vorspeise fertig waren, kam der Kellner an den Tisch und verkündete, dass das T-Bone ausverkauft sei ( die haben ne halbe Stunde gebraucht um das in der Küche festzustellen) . Als Alternative gab es dann Entrecote auch mit hausgemachten Pommes. Das Ganze hat dann nochmal zwanzig Minuten gedauert bis die Hauptspeise am Tisch war. Die Dorade sowie das Entrecote waren „in Ordnung“, geschmacklich aber kein Highlight. Die Hausgemachten Pommes und die Rösti sahen gut aus. Aber auch nur das… Geschmacklich ähnlich nichts sagend wie der Pulpo, kein Salz, kein Gewürz, einfach nichts. Alles in allem war das Ambiente im Vorzelt draußen angemessen. Wenigstens war es warm und Heizstrahler waren in Betrieb. Der Service war maximal ausreichend, einer schweren Kommunikation und schlechtem Verständnis geschuldet. Alles in Allem müssen wir da nicht nochmal hin. Die Promenade ist voll mit Restaurants. Fazit: enttäuschend und nicht zu empfehlen.

Absolut überlaufen das Lokal. Sehr Laute Atmosphäre, Kellner wirken gestresst und überfordert, Toiletten sind unhygienisch, essen ist zu klein Portioniert für das Preis Leistung Verhältnis. Die Lage ist natürlich top ! Verbesserungsfähig trotzdem empfehlenswert für ein Abendessen zwischendurch

1 star is too much. We paid over 250 euros. The burger was insanely greecy (we had a napkin filled with greece after one bite), the mixed grill only had 3 pieces of the same chicken meat and when we told the staff, they got mad and we had a whole argument for over half an hour. We just wanted to tell them it wasn't good. The restaurant looks good but the food was awfull
