The No.1 in the name speaks for itself 😉 Great ambience, modern and bright or cozy and rustic. You have a free choice if you reserve in advance, of course. The dishes are always of high quality and so is the meat. Portions are also absolutely reasonable for the price. We are regular customers here and always enjoy coming here. The lunch menu is also really good and you get a lot to eat for a small price. Staff is very friendly and works very professionally.

I had the senior plate and looked for the steak in vain. It was so small if it even weighed 50 grams it would be a miracle. The fries tasted like old frying fat 🤮, the 5 champions too! The salad was so full of vinegar that it was not edible. After a complaint, fat-swimming fried potatoes were added. My conclusion: Despite the nice service, never again!!!!

Es war das beste Restaurant in dem wir seit langem waren. In jeglicher Hinsicht hat dieses Restaurant überzeugt. Die Reservierung- Sehr einfach, bequem und schnell. Außerdem gab es ein Kommentarfeld in dem man Sonderwünsche oder Anmerkungen schreiben konnte bevor man zu Besuch kommt. Unser Anlass war ein Geburtstag. Fangen wir mal mit der Ankunft an: es gibt ein Parkhaus in unmittelbarer Nähe- ca. 50m vom Restaurant Eingang entfernt. Nicht das schönste Parkhaus, aber sicher und günstig für die Kieler Innenstadt. Als wir dann im Restaurant angekommen waren, wurden wir super nett und höflich empfangen und durften uns auch direkt an den Reservierten Tisch setzen. (obwohl wir etwas zu früh dort waren) Die Bedienung kam schnell und was mich sehr gefreut hatte, dass diese Bescheid wusste dass es einen Geburtstag gibt. Wir wurden auf ein Geburtstagssekt des Hauses eingeladen. Sehr zuvorkommend und höflich! Das macht einen super Service aus!! wirklich klasse 👍🏼 Das Essen war der Hammer 🤩 eine 100/10 es hat alles geschmeckt und die Wartezeit hielt sich mit 30-40 Minuten wirklich im absoluten Traum Bereich . Preislich war es wirklich überragend, wir haben für 3 Personen ca 80€ gezahlt. All in All kommen wir auf jeden Fall wieder und empfehlen das Restaurant mit Stolz gerne weiter! Wir waren zum ersten mal dort und die Bewertung wurde im November 2024 verfasst. Liebe Grüße und bis zum nächsten mal Familie Vo.

Da wir zu früh waren wurde uns ein Platz an der Bar offeriert. Dort genossen wir einen kurzen und gemütlichen Augenblick und schon war der Tisch bereit. Danke an den tollen Service aller Mitarbeiter. Das Essen ist sehr gut. Sowohl Fleisch als auch Genüsse und Pommes sind ausgezeichnet. Der Salat hat noch ein wenig (!) Verbesserungspotential.

Highly recommended for lunch! The ambience is divided into two parts. Either classic steakhouse or chic loft style. Service friendly and eloquent. The lunch menu varied and delicious.

The table we had booked in advance was right next to a very loud group of English-speaking people, which was very annoying and ruined our evening 😕 a shame because we actually wanted to celebrate our son's birthday

Price-performance no longer matches. The meat was great, but unfortunately the surroundings were not. Dry bread, boring potatoes, salad with ready-made dressing. It's a shame, but then it's better to spend 50 euros for a steak somewhere else.

We found it very cozy here with the family for a birthday feast! The occasion was noticed very attentively and a small gift was offered. Great!! Otherwise the service was extremely nice and accommodating. The ribeye steak and flank steak were both grilled to perfection and tasted very aromatic and delicious with the house seasoning. The premium cheese burger and the salmon fillet are also highly recommended. There were also crispy twisters. Also worth mentioning is the generous space at and around the table and the comfortable upholstered chairs. We'll definitely be back :-)

For No.1 I know much better steak houses. A beautiful large room decorated in a rustic style - very pleasant and cozy. A slightly smaller, more "modern" one, too bright and a little too cold. The terrace was pleasantly cozy. The food was okay and our waiter was a bit abrupt.

The food was great as always. The only drawback on the last visit on August 2nd, 2024 was the staff. A lady who served us the drinks was no longer seen afterwards. No other service within reach either. We would like to order more drinks and dessert, but unfortunately this was not possible. After the meal, the dishes were left on the table for about 25 minutes and were not cleared away. Then we approached the staff to pay.

Rigtig fint spisested, hyggeligt, gode steaks og dejlig service. Selv på en mandag aften var der OK fyldt i restauranten.

Yes.... So the idea and the menu promise something great. The reality is rather different. Yes, the food tastes good, but I've eaten much better steak. And I don't compare it to a higher price level. The starter was GREAT... Just...really right after that came the main course. In my opinion it doesn't go too far... The steaks weren't as expected, just a shame on our heads... We didn't say anything... I also don't think that the people in the kitchen at our time were trained chefs... If yes... Well then something went wrong. We won't come back because the food is better elsewhere... Oh and the quantity... My 300g steak was smaller than the smaller one my partner ordered. Yes... I know...raw weight... If it really had 300g beforehand...well then it shrunk A LOT when grilling...that's what I call it...which is what it supposedly was...then it's poor quality meat.... It's actually a shame because the menu promises a lot...

Great steak quality, nice service, great ambience. You can sit in the old, slightly darker part or in the great, newer, brighter part. There are also a few seats outside. You can park in a parking garage nearby

I shared a steak and ribs with my brother, so luckily I was able to try both. The steak was very tender and perfectly cooked, the ribs were juicy, tasty and melted in your mouth! The fried potatoes were also great! The service was very good and we were in a good mood despite our slightly louder group of twelve! (They even sent me my phone in the mail after I left it there.)

The food is delicious (both at lunch and in the evening), the value for money is right here, there are no overly creative dishes, but classics well done. Service very nice, attentive and helpful. We were there once for tapas: great idea and well implemented.

We've been here several times now and I have to say, I've never had such a bad experience. You basically have to be lucky to get the cooking level that was ordered. Of course we let you know that our medium steak was well done and not medium. Then all you could hear was complaining in the open kitchen (it was the waiter). When he was asked whether he had to be so loud, all he said was "you should order something else if you have no idea". He continued to mess around in the open kitchen. At least there was a nice young waitress there who apologized for his behavior. If you want to rely on good food, I don't recommend this restaurant.

Very cozy restaurant, with slight errors in the food. Pork fillets with fried potatoes and pepper sauce were ordered according to the menu. However, it was delivered with Bernaise sauce. There should have been a mistake in the kitchen. I'm a bit surprised since the dish was on the lunch menu and certainly not rare. 🤔

Google claims (without providing proof) that I violated something. The ominous standards. They also claim that they won't censor anything. So what went wrong that my review wasn't published? So here is my 2nd attempt. Four of us were at the steakhouse on Saturday April 30th, 2022. First of all, it has to be said that the premises are good, the service was very friendly and helpful. However, we saw in Preußerstr. There is a sign at the entrance telling you to enter from the triangle square side. We were taught that this shouldn't be the case. However, a lot of guests came after us who had misunderstood the message. Well, just a small annoyance. We were served by a stately waitress who was extremely helpful and friendly. The furniture didn't matter, it was modern and simple. (We were sitting in the new building at the front of the triangle square.) When it came to paying, the service was a bit hesitant as orders from new guests were brought forward. Everyone can decide for themselves whether this is allowed or possible. All of this can be criticized, but it's not really a reason for a mediocre rating. But, there is always a but. 2 people were happy with their food but it has to be said that the toasted bread slices were a scandal. Do you really think customers are so stupid? Bread was served that was clearly old and/or, even worse, had already been served before. The taste of stale bread is unmistakable, not to mention the fact that the slices were already bent in all directions. Why some of the beans had already turned gray will remain a kitchen secret, as will the fact that some of the fries were already soggy / limp. Are you telling us that two different types of fries come out of the deep fryer?

It was my first time eating at Steak House No. 1. I have to say, this was the best steak I've ever eaten. Super nice staff. I would like to come by again. I can only recommend Steak House No. 1.

I see it as a shortcoming that the toilet can only be reached via a long winding staircase in the basement: not accessible at all for wheelchair users and only with difficulty for people with walking difficulties. And towels were completely missing.

We ate very well there. The burgers were plentiful. The staff was very friendly, always attentive, we had short waiting times.

We were there for tapas all you can eat. The food was delicious, the price was ok for tapas. But we didn't like the concept. A course comes every 15 to 20 minutes. However, it is fixed which food the course is. If you don't want to go, you have to wait half an hour or more. And since they started at 10 p.m. and we started at 6 p.m., we only enjoyed a maximum of two courses twice. We were full, but we also ate everything. If you don't like something, you're out of luck. It wasn't really an all you can eat. Then it's better like at yummies, where you can choose what you want in the aisle.

Old, traditional steakhouse with a relatively recently completed expansion. We've been eating there for years. You can now choose whether you want to sit in the old, more rustic part or in the new, bright, modern part. There's nothing wrong with the food; it is of a good standard and there are also seasonal items and special offers. The service has always been friendly and attentive. - Addition from January 2024: slight quirks in the service (table 4 was reserved instead of table 5 reserved in writing, the bulb in the lamp was defective and could not be changed, unsolicited first name communication).

We had dinner here at Christmas. We got a table in the front bar area, which isn't really comfortable compared to the old room. Unfortunately, there were some other inconveniences during our stay. The menu and wine were placed on the table without comment, instead of offering them in a friendly manner and pouring the wine for tasting. We then had to do it ourselves. I experienced this for the first time. We waited a long time for some bread, which we had ordered as a starter. After noticing our displeasure, our waiter said: "Not everyone wants to work at Christmas." (Then you just leave it alone) I wouldn't have expected such incompetence in the catering industry. Unfortunately, the food was only mediocre. Some things were forgotten. Unfortunately for us it is not the number 1 steakhouse, nor number 2.

Nette Bedienung. Online Reservierung hat super funktioniert. Essen war sehr enttäuschend. Steak House Platte: Bohnen Null Geschmack, winziges Knoblauchbrot, Bratkartoffeln waren eher Salzkartoffeln von der Größe und Geschmack, Champions waren gut, die 3 Steaks waren geschmacklich sehr enttäuschend. Die anderen Gerichte meiner Familie waren auch unterer Durchschnitt. Das Kartoffelgratin war eine sehr kleine Schale. Ich erwarte natürlich keine großen Portionen, aber bei dem Preis hätte ich mir zumindest Geschmack oder eine normale Portion gewünscht.

Das Essen was wir bestellt hatten war alles sehr lecker.und die Bedienung war auch sehr nett, hier Gehen wir sehr gerne wieder was Essen. Super.

Wirklich sehr gutes Steak-Restaurant, in dem ich letzte Woche zum ersten Mal seit sicherlich fast 20 Jahren mal wieder essen war und es war immer noch so gut wie ich es von damals in Erinnerung hatte. Die Bedienung war sehr sehr freundlich, immer aufmerksam und zuvorkommend und das Essen war absolut perfekt. Wir saßen hier neben der offenen Küche und konnten sehen, was dort alles so raus ging und es sah alles super aus und das in einem guten Tempo. Wir waren sehr begeistert. Kleiner Tipp, wenn Ihr danach noch weiter ausgehen wollt (Theater, Kino, Veranstaltung o.ä.), kann es nachteilig sein, neben der Küche zu sitzen, da man dann evtl. doch etwas Grillaroma mit sich trägt. ;-) Es gibt aber auch genügend und auch vor allem die allermeisten Plätze abseits der Küche.

Ich hatte ein Stück Black Angus Fleisch vom Rind bestellt sowie Beilagen, perfektes Essen sowie eine sehr schöne Gaststätte die mir sehr gut gefällt, wir kommen demnächst wieder. Preis Leistungsverhältnis stimmt genau im Einklang mit den Angeboten sowie dem Geschmack der Gerichte.😋
