The food was okay. Good value for money! The service also depends on the individual server; one was incredibly friendly, another quite unpleasant. We'll definitely come back sometime, but we won't become regulars. Child-friendly, much like my opinion of the server.

The mixed grill and spare ribs were excellent, the price-performance ratio was perfect, the staff were very friendly, keep it up, we'll definitely be back. Thank you for your hospitality!

A very pleasant evening for four people at the restaurant; the steak and sides were excellent. My steak was cooked perfectly medium, and the fried potatoes were homemade. My mother-in-law had a delicious sea bream. The service was quick and very friendly. The price was reasonable. It's located near the town hall.

The three of us were there in the early afternoon! The service was very attentive and even enjoyed a bit of fun! The food was excellent and plentiful! The value for money is also good! The restrooms were very clean! All in all, we'll definitely be back when we get the chance!

July 2025 We've been enjoying eating there for many years whenever we're in Kiel. The food is freshly prepared, the portions are generous, the seasoning isn't overdone, and the wait time is relatively short. The value for money is heart-pumping, as it's rare to find it like this these days. We'll continue to be loyal customers, but we'll let you know if things get worse. So far, we've unreservedly recommended it, especially since it's open 24/7.

Potato wedges instead of fried potatoes that came later, floating in oil, some just warm, not fried, heating onions instead of braised... aaaabut..the steak, friends... the steak ripped out everything that was possible. Despite the fact that I wanted it to be "all the way through", it was so delicious... well done, but not far dry. Mega, really... Very, very tasty steak!

We stumbled upon this place by chance and felt very comfortable. Comfortable seating, good food, and pleasant, friendly service. Reasonable prices; we'd come back on our next visit to Kiel.

We went here for dinner with our family, four adults and a child (10). You can't get here without a reservation, but that's also a good sign. Okay, it's certainly not normal for me, far from Dithmarschen, to order kale. I've certainly eaten a lot of kale dishes, but this was by far the best kale I've eaten away from home. Everything just fit, the kale was perfectly prepared as it should be. The cooked sausage and the Kasseler were great in taste. The small fried potatoes are perfect!! Really recommended!

We were in this house for the first and last time. The reception by a man who was very unkempt in a dirty shirt with stains was anything but welcoming. The wait for the food we ordered was very long, and when it finally came, the quality was rated at a maximum of grade 3. The meat was OK, but the various types of potatoes seemed to come from the freezer. We were also served our food by a lady with a rude face, which didn't make the experience any better. Since we were there with friends and had nice communication, we ignored a lot. However, the real deal came when we checked the bill at home and realized that we had paid twice as much and that there were some items on the bill that we had not ordered at all. We had to go back again to sort everything out. It was confirmed to us that we had indeed been overcharged and we received a portion back in cash. But when we got home, after carefully checking the bill, we realized that we had still paid too much. Will we go there again? Definitely not! I DO NOT RECOMMEND this steakhouse and advise everyone to CHECK THE BILLS CAREFULLY!!!!

We had dinner at Negresko with 5 people for my birthday. We were very satisfied. Price/performance ratio top. The service took a little longer for one person but there was no problem and she was very nice and attentive. We can absolutely recommend the restaurant. Hopefully for a very long time.

Wir waren zum Glück sehr früh dort, somit war der Geräuschpegel noch sehr niedrig. Der Service war sehr freundlich und schnell. Leider waren die Pommes sehr latschig. Aber das Steak war auf den Punkt.

Sehr netter Empfang und Service im Restaurant. Die Karte ist für ein Steakhaus sehr umfangreich mit interessanten Alternativen. Die Monatskarte eine gute Ergänzung mit ein paar Besonderheiten, wie Wildgerichte und Grünkohl. Die Speisen waren heiss, schön angerichtet, reichhaltig und sehr sehr lecker.

I was a guest at Negresco last night. Unfortunately we stood at the entrance for about 5 minutes before we were brought to the table. The restaurant wasn't well attended, so I have little sympathy for that. The service was still very friendly. The starter (carpaccio) was outstanding. Very well seasoned, very tasty and fresh. The main course - pepper steak with fries - was less outstanding. The steak was a bit rubbery in places. The sauce had a very bland aftertaste. The fries were very good. All in all an average visit, but I expected more for the price.

We had a reservation for dinner there this evening (Sunday) with 7 people. Reception was very friendly and relaxed. We were there earlier, but that wasn't a problem. All people ate something different. The food was very good and the meat was cooked to perfection. The ambience was calm with relaxed music in the background. The staff friendly, attentive but not intrusive. We would be happy to come back and can recommend the restaurant with a clear conscience.

The steak is super tender, tasty and, above all, unbeatable in terms of price. The side dishes are super fresh and delicious. The service is generally friendly, attentive and helpful. Our absolute eatery. We can't find anything tastier than there within a 19 km radius. When we're in town, we always stop there for a meal because it's open all day. Lately we've been driving into town "just because" to eat here. Save ribs, steak, trout, Dorode, Negresco grill plates: simply lick the plate empty. And above all: great staff Great go on! A very great restaurant on a side street but with a terrace where you are protected from the rain. The food was amazing, the files were super tender and melted in your mouth. We found it on the internet because we were looking for a steakhouse that wasn't far from the IBIS Hotel. And so it is about 300m from the hotel. The food is very good, the plates are warm, I had a fillet that was super tender and grilled to perfection. We won't be there for the last time.

We were in Kiel over the Pentecost weekend and were looking for somewhere to eat and came across the “Steak Haus Negresco”. We did not regret it. The food was very, very good. The fish plate is recommended. My husband's fillet plate was a stunner. I have never eaten such tender fillet in a restaurant. I even got banana wheat, which is relatively unknown in the north ;) We'll definitely be back for dinner in August.

We were in Kiel and were looking for an opportunity to eat. Everything in the city center was full because of the Mark Foster concert and you couldn't get in without a reservation. We found Negresco via an arrow in a side street. The food was very tasty, generous portions. The service was very friendly and nice. I ordered my steak medium and it was more English, but that's not a deduction for me because I like both. I had the feeling that it was a bit of an insider tip because the store wasn't actually full. Can I recommend it at any time and I will come again.

We are guests here often and always enjoy coming back. The food has always been perfect, the service is always appropriately friendly, has everything in view and special requests (see amount of hollandaise sauce, beans in the pan-fried vegetables, etc.) are also taken into account and implemented. Price-performance is also right. The location is very good, parking spaces can also be found in the area with a small footpath. The restaurant and facilities are all clean.

Günstige Preise, das fällt beim ersten Blick auf. Die Karte umfasst neben Steaks auch vegetarische Gerichte, Fisch und Fajitas, Salat gibt es zur Selbstbedienung am Buffet. Mittags gibt es preiswerte Stammgerichte, das Lokal selbst ist gemütlich bestuhlt und hat einen netten Aussenbereich. Mein Steak hatte leider eine grosse Sehne , aber Fleisch ist ja ein Naturprodukt und bei dem Preis möchte ich auch nicht meckern. Geschmeckt hats, auch Röstbrot, Kartoffel mit Sour Cream , Salat und Steaksauce waren ok - aber eben auch nicht mehr. Trotzdem würde ich das Negresco für den kleineren Geldbeutel durchaus empfehlen.
