Even though the restaurant was very busy, we received our food very quickly. The meat was cooked to perfection and everything was very tasty. The staff was very friendly. We stayed at Fuego with 9 people and everyone was very satisfied.

Steak restaurant that has been established for years. Steak with open potatoes good. Lamb very tasty. No surprises. Price ok. Good standard.

We were at Fuego as part of our company Christmas party and it was simply amazing! Beautiful restaurant, super delicious food, great service but the absolute highlight was the employee who was assigned to our table: Sahra! Huge compliment to you - we could tell straight away that you really enjoy your job! We'll definitely be back!

Very tasty and above all fresh food! It's not exactly cheap, but it's definitely worth the price. The portions are perfectly fine, so you'll definitely be full. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is very cozy.

Were there with 11 people. Good selection and combination of starters, specially adapted to the number. This was homemade and really delicious! The main course came at the same time and warm. My steak was grilled to perfection and that's what we ordered... The tiramisu, on the other hand, was very heavily covered in cocoa, so that there was hardly any taste of the remaining ingredients. Otherwise completely satisfied with the food! Overall, Sahra fulfilled all wishes and created a good atmosphere! Thank you! The Fuego is highly recommended and I would like to come back!

The waiter and the kitchen implemented special requests, thank you very much for that!!! My dish was very tasty, but we discovered that the rib-eye steak wasn't ours. We decided to only eat German steak. Tastes are just different. Everything else was very tasty. Definitely we will go there again. Big thanks to the nice waiter and the kitchen. Lg

Very high quality food, attentive and friendly staff

As soon as you enter the restaurant, you are greeted by a warm, cozy atmosphere. The food is very good, in my case the Fuego grill plate. Delicious, tender meat with very good fried potatoes. The table service was polite, friendly, attentive and professional. I only deducted one star because it took a long time until we were welcomed and a friendly smile at reception wouldn't have hurt either. All in all, it was a lovely evening that we would like to repeat.

If there was a small complaint, we got completely new food

An einem Samstagabend waren wir zu viert zu einem Abendessen verabredet. Die Bedienung erfolgt prompt, freundlich und schnell. Die Karte ist sehr umfangreich, so dass man die Qual der Wahl hat. Fisch, Fleisch, Pizza, Pasta, Burger - es ist wirklich für jeden etwas dabei. Wir entschieden uns für ein Lamm-, ein Geflügel und zwei Fischgerichte. Alles wurde sehr ansprechend und auf den Punkt gebraten serviert. Sonderwünsche wurden berücksichtigt. Alles hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt und die Portionegröße war mehr als ausreichend. Vor dem Essen gab es auch noch einen kleinen Gruß aus der Küche, der uns auch sehr gut geschmeckt hat. Das Ambiente hat uns sehr gut gefallen, es ist urig und gemütlich und so hatten wir einen schönen Abend dort.

The ambience: Convenient for larger groups as there is plenty of space, but it does make you feel like you are in a canteen as it is very noisy and you are surrounded by tables and other people. I can't recommend the atmosphere for a relaxed and quiet evening. My impressions of the food: The meat tastes good, but the amount of meat (Fuego grill plate) is quite small, especially the beef and lamb there were only small strips of meat on my plate. The fried potatoes were swimming in fat and were therefore completely soggy. The overall price-performance ratio is weak. The service was friendly and attentive. All in all I was disappointed.

Incredibly beautiful restaurant. I was there with the family today and I have to say it was a nice facility, lots of details, nothing dirty, overall very much to my taste. The location is also wonderful and service was very polite and accommodating. Food tasted very good - big compliments to the chefs. I will definitely come back.

It was such an incredibly beautiful evening in Fuego del Sur! It was extremely full on Saturday evening, but we were still served with warmth, so the stay was just lovely. The food was good to solid, but the price was a bit higher. But: with this great and attentive service, combined with so much hospitality, there is clearly a recommendation!

Unfortunately the restaurant has slacked off, grill pan all types of meat not medium. Fried potatoes mushy.

From the outside I don't find the restaurant very appealing, the Fuego seems a little out of place in the middle of newly built houses, the outside terrace looks unkempt... but as soon as you enter the restaurant it becomes cozy and you are greeted and shown to the table. The food was very tasty, everything was fresh, the meat was fried to perfection, our waiter asked several times what we wanted, I would be happy to come back...

Today we had a delicious meal together around 3 p.m. First there was a greeting from the house, which is extremely rare today. The baby calamari were really great and we can also recommend the charcoal-grilled turkey steak, the baked potato with sour cream was simply fantastic. Attentive service but unobtrusive. The ambience really appealed to us. If we are in Kiel again we will definitely dine here again.

Was there to eat. My steak was supposed to be durich. It was just dry like brine. Everything else was just perfect and great.

Great restaurant with really good service. Five of us had dinner here for our birthday, we were served nicely, the service was really on point. For our birthday there was an aperitif on the house and a schnapps at the end. Thank you. We will definitely be back.

The Fuego del sur in Kiel is a culinary hit! The atmosphere (subtle music) and the staff (very friendly) are just right - not to mention the fantastic food. We enjoyed it so much that we ate there three days in a row (of course something different each time). Everything freshly prepared. Hake, grill plate, grill pan, lasagna with salmon, grilled chicken, spaghetti Bolognese, the fried potatoes definitely have to be mentioned - as does the delicious dark Fuego beer. Chianti and the rosé are also very good. It should be mentioned that we always sat in the (!) house. Outside, the environment is still a bit busy with construction sites and it's cool in the evenings...

Brunch is not in the price-performance ratio. A great restaurant with good food for lunch, in between or in the evening but the brunch is a complete disaster. Every 2 star hotel offers more for less money. The meat is dry and cooked to death, fried eggs are swimming in fat, there is no cereal other than cornflakes. Vitello Tonate and Panacotta are delicious. The restaurant staff are friendly, but they are rarely seen at the table and there was no inquiry as to whether coffee or other drinks would be wanted. Dear Fuego team, for a price of €23.80, expectations are high and the quality and selection must be right. Energy costs or not, it's the details and quality that make the difference. The brunch you offer looks like using up leftovers from the week and wanted but couldn't. Too bad Addendum to the answer from the owner: Dear Fuego team, first of all compliments on your statement. I still have to clarify something about your answer. I don't mean that the quality of the products is bad. It's more about how the buffet is structured and the selection of products. You have to admit that the pork neck steak meat products are far too dry and if the things are left warmed up for a little longer, then the best chefs in the world can't change that. YOU have to change something in the way it is presented and I can definitely expect that from a price of €23.80, despite rising energy costs. The visual impression definitely counts and there is still a lot of room for improvement. See for yourself the regionally based competition, e.g. The Lucifer on the Canal... You will see the difference immediately. If the kitchen crew is there half the night cooking goulash, why wasn't goulash offered? All the best to you and your team

Today I ate the best lasagna with salmon so far. I also really like the atmosphere and it reminded me of my last vacation in Spain. It's worth it!

I'm sorry but that had nothing to do with the food, there were four of us there, my colleague and I had the 300 g rib eye steak. Positively it was medium but one was tough and mine wasn't of great quality. My wife had the fish plate and her friend Shrimp pan. No one was happy, especially given the price. I get the quality in another well-known steak restaurant. It's a shame. The nice waiter who served us is positive

There were four of us and we ate delicious antipasti and very tasty grilled baby calamari and chicken breast. Waitress SARAH served us very friendly and perfectly, so we would be happy to come back to enjoy more dishes. Reservations on weekends are recommended. Many thanks also to the kitchen team!

Super delicious food, nice service and nice ambience

It was worth eating here. Excellent taste, unfortunately really expensive. Condition very accommodating and very helpful in creating the menu. The atmosphere is a bit dated but still nice. Overall, I can recommend it with a clear conscience.

The selection for the breakfast buffet for 28.50 euros was a bit too little for us. Otherwise it's very nice there and everything tastes excellent.

Given the price of the brunch, water/seltzer included would have been nice. It would also have been nice to ask if more coffee was needed. The food and selection were ok. I would have been happy with different types of jam and muesli/kellogs. There were sometimes long queues, which can be very annoying if you sit in the wrong place.

Ich habe gestern dort meinen Geburtstag gefeiert. Es war wunderbar. Wir haben das Menu „Land & Meer“ für 2 Personen bestellt: unglaublich! Die Menge war nicht für 2 sonst für 3-4 Personen! Wir konnten nicht alles essen! Als Vorspeisen haben wir Provoleta gegessen: sehr lecker Das war ein Stück Argentinien im Kiel. Empfehlenswert.

Our 110 guests (in private) agreed that they enjoyed a successful celebration in a location with atmosphere, a very tasty buffet for all tastes, great drinks and professional and very relaxed staff. Great place, centrally located! The combination of indoor and outdoor space is a dream. The wedding there was perfectly looked after by Sarah and her team from start to finish and the food is also highly recommended (there was a buffet for us). If you're looking for a real insider tip in Kiel, you're in good hands here :)

Unfortunately, the sirloin steak I ordered was full of tendons and really hard, even though it was fried medium. The fries were definitely too greasy.

We went there with the Schlemmerblock Kiel and ordered a sirloin steak and pork fillet in Gorgonzola sauce, the steak was very good, but the pork fillet wasn't a fillet. As soon as I cut it I noticed how hard it was and I could see that two pieces had been joined together to make it look like a fillet, guess it was pork loin. I felt like I was being taken for a ride, but I didn't say anything. I didn't want to make a fuss and be upset about the disappointment. So a good meal and a not so good one.

It was good and plentiful again. Very tasty and varied. Mediterranean dishes in a special atmosphere. Faux pas in service - happens. But reacted a little too callously. A pity. But the food makes up for it 😉

We had reserved a table in advance and asked for a table in a quiet location at the back because we also had our dog with us. That worked great. The food was also great, very tasty, we had burgers, pizza, steak. Everything tasted wonderful, large portions. The dog was also thought of, a bowl of fresh water was put out for him, great service! Staff very friendly and attentive. We will be back.

On Saturday we (upstairs in the room/70 people) celebrated my mom's 75th birthday. The tables were beautifully decorated. All wishes were taken into account. Guest requests were also promptly fulfilled. Sarah and Lara have it together with their wit and charm “All-round carefree” party made!!

At Fuego de sur, customer is king takes on a whole new meaning. What was particularly noticeable was the great service from Sarah and Lara. Super friendly and always available for a chat and joke. Drinks and food arrived super quickly. Every wish is made possible. Looking forward to next time.

Fuego del sur - always worth a visit! Whether for a meal for two or for large parties. Very tasty food and great service. Yesterday we celebrated a big birthday there. Sahra and her team gave everything and no wishes remained unfulfilled! Of course we will come back :-)

I visited the "Fuego del Sur" restaurant today and was absolutely thrilled! The ambience is welcoming and cozy, with a warm and rustic atmosphere that immediately conveys a feeling of well-being. The highlight of the evening was definitely the food. The menu offers an impressive selection of South American specialties, and every dish we tried was outstanding. The steaks are particularly recommended – they were perfectly prepared and of the best quality. The side dishes and sauces were also delicious and complemented the main courses wonderfully. The service was first class: the staff was friendly, attentive and very professional. Our requests were promptly fulfilled and the waiters' recommendations were spot on. Overall, our visit to “Fuego del Sur” was a completely successful experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates quality South American cuisine and excellent service. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

Parking is free in the area, and there is a fee directly in front of the restaurant. Payment by credit card possible, but only VISA and Mastercard.

A nice restaurant. Everything was given here in terms of decoration and facilities to turn the hall into an attractive restaurant. The service was great and the food was good. Everything is clean and well maintained. We can recommend it and would be happy to come back. Parking spaces in front of the door are free of charge on Sundays and public holidays

Discovered it by chance and just went in and didn't regret it. We were greeted warmly and shown to the table. The food was very tasty, the steak was exactly how we wanted it, medium. The ambience was also great and even though the restaurant was busy and music could be heard, it was easy to have a conversation in peace. Spontaneously hungry in Kiel? Here you will receive extremely quick and competent service at a good price. The service is very friendly and accommodating. And yes... the food is also excellent!!

The ambience was about the only really nice thing. I didn't think the food itself was bad. The salad, herb butter and scampi were incredibly delicious. But the fact that I received squid, which wasn't on the menu, wasn't my thing at all. The steak was supposed to be welldone - it was English (luckily I like that too). But for the price you expect the right cooking point and a correct description. The worst thing for me, however, were the toilets. There was no toilet paper on two of them and that was still the case 2 hours later. The toilet seats on at least two of the toilets weren't really tight. And if the joints in the cabins continue to loosen, you'll soon be able to take a look inside. The waiter should serve the entire table in the same way. He sometimes smiled with me, but apparently not with others.

We had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant for the first time and it was a wonderful experience. The service was excellent, the staff member was attentive, friendly and extremely professional. The ambience was fantastic too; the atmosphere was inviting and stylish, which made our evening even more enjoyable. Of particular note was the homemade red wine. It was of exceptional quality and perfectly rounded off our culinary experience. Overall, our first visit was a complete success and we look forward to returning soon.

The service was very friendly and accommodating. Changes were accommodated at no additional charge. We had the fish plate with rosemary potatoes and grilled vegetables. The different types of fish were on point and very tasty and juicy. We'd love to come back.

We had reserved a table for two people here at short notice and wanted to try the lava stone steak. Very nice atmosphere and the staff are always very friendly and attentive. The starters were really great, but the steak on the lava stone is unparalleled (also in terms of taste). Here everyone can grill their steak at the table the way they want. A completely different dining experience, even if it's not exactly cheap in terms of price. But everything really fit here from A to Z. For us the visit was a perfect end to the day, thank you for that.

I recently went to Fuego del Sur and it was just amazing! The steak came on a lava stone and was super tasty, perfectly grilled and really juicy. The side dishes were also a hit and went well with it. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. You immediately felt at home and our waitress was super nice and knew exactly what she was recommending. The atmosphere was also really cozy, so you would like to stay longer. Overall it was a really great experience and I can absolutely recommend Fuego del Sur. I'm already looking forward to next time!

A great restaurant, you can really be lucky with the service. Unfortunately my steak was stringy but that can happen. We were certainly not the easiest guests (large group) but our waiter tried very hard.
