Nice place to stay, helpful staff

We stayed in apartment no. 130, which is very spacious and practically furnished. It was also great that we were able to safely store our bikes in the hallway. The mattresses are a bit thin, so the edge of the bed overhangs, there are no hooks for towels in the bathroom, and the hairdryer hangs right next to the sink. Various TV channels like RTL, SAT1, and Pro7 were not available – so there are some small areas for improvement. The breakfast is simple (baked rolls, no fresh fruit), but perfectly fine. Unfortunately, we discovered a small insect problem 🪳🪳, but the hotel responded immediately and kindly, offering a small price reduction (15%) upon request and informing us that an exterminator had been called.

Perfect for a few nights or while passing through.

Not recommended for 100 Euro per night. For 30 Euro i would say ok, youth hotel service for youth hotel prize. But for a 100 Euro/night hotel, i expect much more. Rooms are old, tiny, aged, shabby, but clean. No AC making the top floor rooms like an ofen in summer... no chance for sleeping ... and bad WLAN coverage on top. The girls on the reception desk are nice .... giving one star extra. Overall, will not come back.

Great location. Super friendly reception. The rooms are a bit dated, and electrical outlets are scarce. However, it's clean and has everything you need. Great for the reasonable price!

We only visited the restaurant, Cafe Liebevoll. It's worth it; delicious, simple food, very good value for money. Very friendly service.

Great hotel that is a bit older. But everything was nice and clean and tidy. The staff was very nice and helpful. Parking nearby. The city center right on your doorstep. I would come back.

Nice hotel in a central location near the market square and in the middle of the pedestrian zone. A bit difficult to find a parking space if you arrive by car. The rooms are clean and well-equipped, even if they are a bit old. The service was very friendly.

Friendly staff, everything was very clean and our apartment was very spacious. Unfortunately it was very warm in the breakfast room... but air conditioning would probably be overkill for the few hot days in Germany...

The hotel is very old and in need of renovation. We have one of the holiday apartments. Some of the furniture is very worn out, the beds creak loudly every time you turn over, so me and my partner moved into a separate bedroom because when the other one turns over, it's over to sleep. Cleanliness works like this. The cobwebs could be removed. The breakfast is ok but nothing special. Still sufficient for the price. The mini breakfast room is very disturbing, everyone is close together and it is very loud and narrow. Comfortable is different. The hotel is definitely too expensive for what you get. I advise against it. Then it’s better to book a private holiday apartment.

Unfortunately there is not much choice of hotels in Jülich. The city hotel has a great location right in the center, but that's about it for the highlights. The single room was small but clean. The bathroom needed a renovation and there was an unpleasant smell of sewage. What was very annoying was that the room was only equipped with two thin and far too short curtains - making it virtually impossible to darken the room. Breakfast is ok, there are many alternatives around.

Unfortunately, it is lovingly getting old and something urgently needs to be invested here. It's actually a shame because the store has a mega location.

I had a very pleasant stay in one of the self catering apartments. At less than €100 per night for a 2 bedroom apartment it was incredible value for money and the apartment looked newly refurbished. The bed was very comfortable, shower was excellent and all modcons and utensils were in the kitchen including sponge and towel for dishes. One thing noteworthy was that they were really proactive on the messaging module in the booking.com app. All queries prior to my arrival and during my stay were dealt with promptly and very informative. They also included a phone number in case of more urgent matters.

Great and clean hotel right on the market square in Jülich; You can't really get any closer to the center. The rooms are spacious and clean. Above all, they are very calm. If you want to work in the hotel, you will also find a wide desk. The breakfast is very good and at 15 euros the price is still reasonable. You can have breakfast from 6:30 a.m., so that guests who have to leave the house early can also take advantage of it. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall, I really liked it and would like to come back. There were a few negative things for the first time during this stay: The room was very overheated for the early summer temperatures. I wasn't able to turn off the wireless thermostat so the heaters didn't turn off. So I slept with the windows open and showered more often. The hotel advertises Sky programming - but every second channel was; including Sky series and Sky Atlantic cannot be received (missing CI module).

Zentral gelegen und in gutem Zustand, fanden wir unseren Aufenthalt gut und werden wiederkommen. Unser Zimmer war allerdings etwas hellhörig, so dass jeder Schritt auf dem Flur sehr deutlich zu hören war.

Really nice place, settled in centrum. Clean apartments, quite well equipped. Everyday room service coming and clearing, workers were really nice to me also. I spent there good time and I recommend this hotel to everyone!

I use this hotel for business for his location. Reasonable rooms, staff very nice.

Großes Zimmer und großes Bad. Das Bett war auch sehr bequem nur die Kissen haben die Bezeichnung nicht verdient. Diese waren leider viel zu dünn. Zum be und entladen kann man kurz vorm dem Hotel parken. Ein großer Parkplatz ist 3-4 min zu Fuß vom Hotel entfernt.

Clean. In the downtown of Jülich. The bed is softly good. A bottle water, teas and coffees are free in the room. The bathroom offers towers, hand wash soap, body/hair shower gel. No toothpaste and toothbrush. A water boiler and a iron are provided. The hotel is small and old, but it is clean and comfortable.

Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Zimmer war in Ordnung, aber nichts besonderes. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Breakfast was not so good considering the price. Rooms were very clean, but a bit too warm (it was middle July, but maybe they should consider the installation of AC because some nights were unbearable)

The service and the breakfast was great. They had a great variety and the bread was fresh every morning. The downside was that you could very easy hear the neighbors and that the bed was quite hard. Location is great and you have great restaurants and bars basically everywhere around the hotel and they are nice!

Direkt in der City. Leider gibt es keine Hotel eigenen Parkplätze so daß man paar Meter mit Koffer laufen muß. Zimmer sind sauber und groß. Frühstück ist typisch deutsch.

Wände voller Staubflusen, Badarmaturen fallen auseinander. Frühstück ok.

Schönes Hotel, tolles Zimmer und Top Lage. Man kann leider seinen Aufenthalt nicht kostenlos verkürzen, höchstens kann das Frühstück aufgehoben werden. WLAN gibt es bestimmt aber nur leider im Raum 107 nicht, aber einen kleinen Balkon in Richtung Einkaufsstraße, also eher nicht so privat.

Lovely rooms. Clean and well located. Attention to detail. We are in an apartment unit. Has all the benefits of a hotel but with 3 very large bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. Lovely staff too

Prachtige locatie in het centrum van Jülich. Kamers zijn netjes en met alles was je mag verwachten. Medewerkers zijn vriendelijk en waren behulpzaam. Prijs is goed.

Einfaches Hotel mit kleinen Zimmern und einem einfachen Bad, für eine Nacht war das schon ein gehobener Preis. Entgegenkommend bei der Buchung im Voraus. Große Auswahl beim Frühstück.
