Food center Zitadelle in Jülich

We ordered food for delivery today and were pleasantly surprised. All our special requests were accommodated and it arrived very quickly. The driver was friendly and the food was delicious. We have absolutely no complaints and will definitely order again.

This restaurant has the best burgers I've ever eaten. The cheesy sauce is amazing. Both the regular patties and the chicken patties are excellent. I always enjoy ordering here when I don't want to be disappointed.

Vegetables are so fresh and tasty. Staff is very friendly and professional also. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food is very tasty. Food quality is excellent, quantity is good and price are very decent. Highly recommend and must go with family or friends.

I ordered scampi pizza and the scampi was rotten and smelly

The best. Everything is perfect. Always listened to, everything included, and even more. So I can definitely recommend it. Best in the city.

Unfortunately, it's stuck in the last century. There are no current opening hours on either the website or Google. The answering machine then explains that they're on vacation for a while longer. Well, no, then – there are others that are even tastier...

It really tastes like heaven, it's always good, I don't go there often but when I am it's always delicious, the young man made us two cheese doner kebabs (with my girlfriend) which were really delicious, I gave him a €5 tip straight away, I'll definitely go back and recommend it to others🙏🙏

After two years, I decided to visit them again—and of course, worse and ruder than before. Doner kebab plate and fries kebab—the same quantity, except one comes with rice and the other with fries. The price difference: 4 euros. I go to the checkout, and the man says, "The fries kebab is 2 euros more expensive." I ask, "Why?" He says, "We put more meat on it." But, my goodness—who asked you to put extra meat on it? In the end, they paid the 2 euros themselves. Conclusion: That was my last visit to them. Never again.

A complete disappointment. A salad durum and a tuna salad for a whopping €27. With the durum, the experts were clever enough to place a piece of paper on the inside of the aluminum foil, so the durum dough stuck to it and the durum fell apart. The eggs in the salad were old, the lettuce leaves tasted sour, and the ham had seen better days. All in all, nothing special, especially the high prices. Only the pizza rolls were acceptable, but there wasn't much to complain about with them.

Unfortunately, this place doesn't deserve a star at all. Visited friends today and ordered from them. Delivery took 1 hour and 30 minutes for 4 dishes (okay for a Saturday evening). Unfortunately, the food was consistently disappointing. The fries looked like they'd been reheated. The bottom of the pizza was so black that half of it was actually inedible. The crusts were a disgrace, even with their own herb butter. Definitely never again.

1 liter bottle 5€ and at Kaufland for 80 cents buy it has become very expensive and portions smaller

A lot has changed in recent years. With a kebab, you have to hunt for the meat. Plenty of salad and bread. Not to mention the sauce. Unfortunately!!! The service hasn't suffered; it's still good.

Addendum (1 year later): Unfortunately, price-performance is no longer right for us! The recipe for the sauces has changed and doesn't taste as good anymore and a falafel salad + a lahmacun now cost €30. Unfortunately we're out of there! All the best to you!

Delicious food and great atmosphere! I recently went to the Food Center Zitadelle and really loved it! The selection of dishes is large and I was impressed by the quality of the food. I particularly enjoyed [you can name a dish here] - the flavors were perfectly balanced and everything was freshly prepared. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff was friendly and attentive. Whether for a quick snack or a hearty meal, the Food Center Citadel is definitely worth a visit. I'd love to come back!

The kebab is very tasty and the sauce is amazing

We actually like to order a Dürüm kebab here every now and then. The ingredients are fresh, the delivery service is reliable and it's nice that you can more or less put the dish together yourself. But it has happened to us several times that specially selected ingredients were simply forgotten. Of course it can happen from time to time, but this was the third time for us. Unfortunately, there's not much you can do if you've already paid in advance via Paypal. Maybe the team here should look through the orders a little more closely.

I bought a kebab to take away. Unfortunately, this is miles away from what is advertised on social networks. The bread was hard, the meat (I had veal) was fatty and the taste was below average. Salad consisted of onions, tomatoes, cucumbers and iceberg lettuce. Carelessly squeezed in. The two sauces were the best here. But even then there was room for improvement. It wasn't my taste.

This kebab truly deserves 5 stars. I go here very often with friends. The staff is always friendly and committed. Every order is prepared correctly. Everyone who has been here says that this kebab is the best in all of Jülich. There is a great selection of meat, sauces and salads here. The bread is also super crispy. Above all, the price is perfect 7€ for a kebab is great. It is full to the brim and the ingredients are perfectly distributed. Customer satisfaction and quality are very important here

Never eaten so badly. They can't even get salad dressing there. Pizza is wobbly. Doner kebab is dry and is it a cabbage kebab, everything else can be searched for. Nothing to complain about My clear favorite. Two types of meat (veal or chicken), well seasoned and plentiful in the kebab bread, fresh salad (no iceberg, cabbage and tomato as well as a small perperoni (not spicy), served with a delicious sauce. Yesterday I ordered a kebab with veal... it came mixed with chicken, only salad with tomatoes, exactly what shouldn't be on it... and as a thank you I had a stomach ache and vomiting for half the night!!! Thanks for the last order from the Food Center!!

The store is now outrageously expensive. €3.50 for a small portion of fries + €1.5 for mayo. So 5€ for fries mayo... 17€ for a schnitzel with fries. Some restaurants are cheaper there. Sorry guys, the prices without me!

First of all, the food was good. But who came up with the prices from December 2023. Unfortunately we ordered based on a map that was approximately 1-1.5 years old. As an example: Schnitzel No. 250 1-1.5 years ago 10.50 euros, from December 20 euros. That's a price increase of over 90 percent. Sorry, but this cannot be justified with increased VAT and increased food prices. In comparison: In your case the mushroom schnitzel with fries and salad costs 18 euros. For comparison, a LARGE mushroom schnitzel in the Bastei (restaurant) with fries, salad and bread with herb butter costs 16.90 euros. The meat is from Butcher Classen, the fries are from the region (boys from Fritz) and the bread is from Felix Backwerk. Sorry, but the ratio here is not correct at all. With the prices you have lost a customer on principle alone. There must be price increases, but not to this extent. We're still talking about a snack here. Maybe you'll think about it again.

5 Sterne für sehr netten und aufmerksamen Service. Ich habe nie einen besseren Dönerteller mit Lammfleisch, toll gewürzten Tsatziki und Pommes gegessen. Das Ambiente ist typisch, aber alles sauber, schick sogar die Toiletten waren sauber. Super!

Sehr enttäuschten ! 1. Die Frau am Telefon total unfreundlich 2. Fragten wir ob wir zu EINEM gericht die Soße extra haben könnten weil wir noch ca 20 min fahren müssen und die Pommes durch die Soße dann durch geweicht wäre ja klar für 1.50 eine mini schale ( Frechheit ) . 3. Das Lamacun hatte kein Tzaziki , war total trocken und war nicht eingerollt alles flog in der Türe rum. 4. Der Belag der Pizza für 12 Euro war ein echter Witz !

Top! Ich gebe sehr selten mal eine Rezension an, aber der Laden ist es mir Wert. Sehr empfehlenswert. Freundliche Bedienung sowie schmackhaftes Essen serviert bekommen. Salat frisch, Fleisch qualitativ. Trotz hoher Kundschaft keine langen Wartezeiten. Immer wieder ein Genuss bei den Jungs essen zu können. Vielen vielen Dank! Top für Take away oder lasse es auch liefern. Breit aufgestellte Karte und eigentlich ist für jeden was dabei. Frisch zubereitet und auch schnell und noch heiß geliefert. Kann es empfehlen wenns mal schnell gehen muss oder für den Hunger zwischendurch.

I actually made a mistake the second time I ordered a delivery (ordered baklava,but didn't receive it,but also didn't notice that they had given me extra change upon payment of order) I reached out to them and within 30 minutes the delivery driver was back to clarify the mistake with the manager on the phone. Very rarely can you encounter service like this in Germany,especially when the fault is the customer! Highly recommended, will be ordering from them for sure again, especially since their burgers are satisfying, with lots of toppings and their Döner/pide/lahmacun are loaded with meat and sides. Bester Laden für Takeaway Gerichte aller Art in Jülich (Pizza ausgeschlossen) Hier wird alles frisch gemacht, es ist sauber, die Mitarbeiter sind super freundlich und das Essen idR schnell fertig in einer super Qualität. Das Restaurant an sich läd nicht wirklich zum bleiben ein, was ich persönlich nicht schlimm finde, denn wir holen eh meist ab und ich habe keine Erwartungshaltung bzgl. eines schon gestaltetem Ambiente. Wichtig ist, hier schmeckts, Preis-Leistung ist gut und die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich. Klare Empfehlung!
