Pure assessment of today's restaurant visit. I have known the restaurant for a long time and have always been satisfied there, from the food to the service and the friendly staff. Apart from that, a very loud group of men wasn't even asked to continue their conversation a little more quietly (my husband then did that) and yes, I understand the restaurateurs after Corona, but if I can no longer have a normal conversation, that's no longer the case pleasant for a visit to a restaurant. The food was ok, but not what it used to be. After the meal there was always a Julischka, you can't get it anymore, there was always something hospitable about it. Now it was more like 0-8-15 clearance, a shame.

My report refers to the restaurant at the Hexenturm. If you want to eat here on weekends or public holidays, I recommend making a reservation in advance. A nice atmosphere, courteous and attentive staff. The food tastes good and yes, a clear recommendation

We had dinner there today. We only got something to drink once and no further questions were asked. You could have made more sales here because there was nothing going on. The mini burger is not recommended for children. The steak wasn't really that great either, nor was the turkey. We won't go there again!

The restaurant is highly recommended!! Very good food with reasonable price. The service is good and almost all the employees are nice. It's definitely worth a visit.

This only applies to the restaurant(!) The restaurant is set up with lots of little niches, which make the large room look small and cozy. The waitresses are friendly and in a good mood. Even if they allow themselves to be valued for a longer time when there is a lot going on. I was told the meat there was very, very tasty. Unfortunately, as a vegetarian, I can't judge that. Now come the negative points: the vegetarian selection there is terrible. I chose the cheese plate. Which really just disappointed me. Vegan dishes are not even offered. No vegetarian dishes were offered on the holiday menu (Easter 2024)! That's a shame because I otherwise really like the restaurant. But I don't want to come back with that choice.

4 of us ate here on 02/2024. You really get a huge portion here. The service staff was friendly and attentive. The meat was well grilled and the plate or platter was well presented. Unfortunately, the minced steak and the vegetables on the plate were a bit bland. You can experiment with spices a bit. A solid restaurant.

There were four of us and we had a very nice table. The meal included a salad from the salad bar. The selection of food was good. I had a steak with baked potatoes. Ordered medium and received it. I've certainly eaten better, but it was completely ok. The service was attentive. The ambience is nice too. I can't say anything about the rooms because we only ate. Parking was also available. For 4 people the price-performance ratio was completely fine. I think you should make a reservation. We would come here again.

Unfortunately, such an honest business no longer exists, I travel all over Germany for work and was a guest in this hotel last night, the owner was very nice and nice, I asked for a room and the room was a bit small cold “I said so them immediately, they immediately brought me a duvet and it was still cold and the owner was the same. He came and apologized and refunded my money. They didn't even object and accepted it. Of course most places would act differently and not refund the money and maybe throw it away, thank you very much.

Leckeres Essen, allerdings nicht die bequemste Bestuhlung. Das ist nicht nur meine Meinung 😉. Aber nochmal, leckeres Essen.

Tolles Restaurant mit sehr guter Qualität. 👍 Gehe dort seit über 20 Jahres essen und habe so manches Fest mit Freunden gefeiert. 20 Personen wird ohne Probleme gleichzeitig das warme Essen serviert. Freundlich und zuvorkommende Bedienung. Was will man mehr. 😊

Mein Mann wurde 80. Sind mit 17 Personen da essen gegangen. Wir haben und dasist nicht gelogen 2stunden gewartet auf die Vorspeise und dann nochmal fast 1stunde auf die Hauptspeise. Leute die anrufen und bestellen zum abholen werden bevorzugt. Eine Frechheit .

Gerne komme ich wieder. Das war sehr schöne Abend und Bin sehr zufrieden. Bis bald. Grüße.

Waren zum ersten Mal hier essen. Eine Servicekraft fiel unangenehm durch ihr ständiges Kauen mit dem Kaugummi auf und der eher nicht vorhandenen Freundlichkeit. Wir hatten noch auf die restliche Familie gewartet, uns wurde währenddessen kein trinken angeboten und auch für eine Essensbestellung mussten wir extra nochmal nachfragen. Der nette Herr, der später unsere Servicekraft wurde, hat es auf 3 Sterne gebracht. Ansonsten waren die Steaks zäh, nicht gewürzt. Die Pfifferlinge waren aus der Dose und meine Quarkcreme ebenso. Komme hier nicht mehr essen.

I was heading to julich for a weekend away and wanted to book. I Sent 3 emails and called twice and still could not reach them. Good for them if they don't need the custom

Ich muss leider einen Stern geben,weil sonst die Bewertung nicht angenommen wird. Hatte einen Grillteller bestellt welcher nicht genießbar war. Fleisch war so totgebraten und so trocken das man es nicht mehr kauen konnte. Cevapcici und Pljeskavica schmeckte einfach nur scheußlich. Selbst die Pommes waren innen noch Roh.

Essen war ok, mehr leider auch nicht. Ambiente ist etwas angestaubt. Leider fehlte mir eine klare Ausrichtung der Küche. Von allem etwas!

Nice cozy restaurant in beautiful historic building with a nice ambience and pretty decent food. Nothing fancy, but pleasant. Options in Jülich seem fairly limited and this is the best one we tried.

Direkt neben dem Jülicher Wahrzeichen, dem Hexenturm, findet sich das kroatische Restaurant mit den wohl sehr guten typischen Speisen. Aber auch internationale Speisen werden angeboten. Die Speisen sind mannigfaltig, die Zubereitung appetitlich, das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hervorragend. Hexenklause (Turmzimmer) und Gesellschaftszimmer sind auch geeignet für Gruppen. Es ist gut geeignet, von hier den Besuch der Innenstadt zu beginnen oder ihn hier zu beenden, wo seit dem 14. Jahrhundert die Stadtmauer stand.

Das essen ist stark an die Balkanküche angelegt. Bedienung sehr flott und scheinbar im Stress, aber immer professionell. Das Essen wurde auch nach nicht all zu langer Wartezeit serviert. Geschmack durch die Reihe lecker, aber der größte Schwachpunkt war die Menge, keiner konnte seine Portion aufessen, dies ist kein Kritikpunkt, sondern ein Hinweis, vorher eine reduzierte Portion erfragen. Da zu jedem Gericht ein Salat zum selbstauswählen gehört, wurde dies auch von uns ausgenutzt, auch hier besser den Salat im Rahmen lassen. Fazit: tolles Essen mit Reservierung gehts besser, immer ausgebucht

Das Restaurant ist ein in die Tage gekommenes, der jugoslawischen Küche zugetanes Lokal. Die Bedienung ist höflich und flink, das Essen nicht das Highlight aber O.K.. Vielleicht bin ich einfach durch unsere heimischen Jugoslawischen Restaurants zu sehr verwöhnt. Es gibt nichts wirklich schlechtes, aber auch nichts wirklich besonderes.

Lekker gegeten, €11,50 voor een schnitzel met champignons, friet en een saladebuffet. Het eten was lekker en best veel maar niet super speciaal. Fris kost maar €1,90 en een pilsje €2,10. Ze werken ook nog met seniorenkorting wat het nóg goedkoper maakt voor senioren.

Wir waren öfters im Restaurant Am Hexenturm. Das Essen ist immer sehr lecker und das Personal freundlich. Die Rindersteaks möchte ich besonders erwähnen.

Een typisch Duits Joegoslavisch restaurant. Zeer schoon en zeer attent en snel personeel. Een grote keur aan gerechten die ook lekker smaken. De prijs kwaliteit verhouding is meer dan ok.

Ich war mit meinem Grillteller sehr zufrieden. Er war reichlich und geschmacklich sehr gut. Die negativen Bewertungen kann ich nicht nachvollziehen. Auch der Service war sehr freundlich. Gut gefallen hat mir auch das Salat Buffet. Ich gebe dem Restaurant die Note gut bis sehr gut und komme gerne wieder.

Хорошее и атмосферное место для ужина. Восторгов нет, но всё было достаточно вкусно, порции большие. Как бонус - бесплатный салат-бар! Не смогли осилить и всё съесть - нам завернули с собой. Обслуживание медленное, но официанты были очень приветливы и обходительны в целом.

Wir sind seit Jahren Gäste,aber das war unser letzter Besuch. Die Portionen werden von Jahr zu Jahr kleiner. Alle Filesteaks waren durchgebraten,obwohl medium bestellt..gingen natürlich wieder zurück zum Verursacher. Positives:Das Essen schmeckt,wenn es mal wie bestellt ankommt.

Wir waren am 19.11. im Hexenturm zu Gast. Freundliche Bedienung. Die Gerichte erwecken alle den Eindruck, als sei nichts wirklich frisch von einem Koch zubereitet. Alles Fertigprodukte, selbst die Saucen schmecken so, als kämen sie aus der Tüte. Die großen Plastikeimer aus der Metro (ARO) stehen ja auch ungeniert rum. Die Klöße kommen sicher aus dem Kochbeutel, das war an den Abdrücken des Kochbeutels auf dem Kloß zu sehen. Genußvoll essen geht ganz anders.
