Very tasty food and super nice service

Absolutely recommended. Despite the short notice, we were able to get a table and despite the restaurant being at full capacity, the service and the boss were extremely friendly. The food also came very quickly despite all the tables being occupied and was delicious! We were given 2 small pieces of Greek cake for dessert and my wife was given a stuffed bear to say goodbye.

I don't recommend it. I have never seen such an attitude from the wait staff in my life. I👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

the service is disgusting, yesterday was celebrating a friend's birthday, the menu was brought after 30 minutes after we sat down at the table. The drinks were brought after 1.20 hours. The salad before the meal was only brought after our comment. Everything was brought for a very long time, although other people who came much later brought everything very quickly, ordered a second glass of wine, an hour later I never received it. The service and the food leave a lot to be desired. If you want to spoil your mood, then you can visit this "restaurant". "Restaurant" it says loudly, dining room with a lack of service 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

Depending on which table you sit at, it blows like pike soup from the door or the window. The door can hardly be closed because the grill's extractor creates a strong negative pressure. The ventilation concept urgently needs to be addressed here. Food perfect!

Today was the last time I was there, although I had eaten in this restaurant several times before. The older gentleman who served us wasn't happy when I said that we wanted to use Schlemmerblock for the first time today. Afterwards, when we wanted to place the order, he told us that there was no more lamb. And there is no longer any beef on the menu. When I asked him if it was because of Schlemmerblock and that we could order it without Schlemmerblock he said no, it's too crowded here and there's no lamb. Then I said it was clear, I didn't want to eat anything here and I'd never come back. It's a real shame even though I really enjoyed being here.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant because the food had no taste at all from the main course to the dessert. Location is nicely done chairs are very hard to sit on. Service staff very polite and attentive.

Unfortunately I am very disappointed with this restaurant. Ordered salad without carrots, then served with carrots. Exchanged without even saying sorry, but the 2nd plate still had a bit of carrot in it... Lettuce leaves brown in several places and getting darker. Fries and gyro meat are not seasoned, and the meat is either not soft enough or sometimes black because it has already been burned. All this for 21€ (including the smoke inhalation attempt)... I would have expected more from the "Greeks" than the typical German "quality" in terms of service and food. Thanks, but I know it differently/better. We won't see each other anymore.

Food was very tasty. Staff was nice. Can be highly recommended. Unfortunately they forgot to give us the ouzo this time, but it's not that bad, we'll come back and then we'll get 2 ouzo per person! 😉😁

Small, family-run restaurant. I find the atmosphere very nice. Since it is a quite small restaurant, we recommend that you reserve a table in advance.

Really very good Greek! We've known him for over 25 years. Were received very friendly, atmosphere typically Greek and clean. The boss dressed very neatly. We were served very quickly and didn't have to wait long for our food. The food was of very good quality and very tasty. The only downside is that unfortunately it's not exactly cheap. But always happy to come back. 😊 Keep it up 👌🏼.

Very inconspicuous from the outside but very comfortably furnished inside. Were greeted warmly and were very friendly ladies. The food was very good and we were very attentive, we always asked if we wanted something else when the drink was empty and we got a small, delicious dessert cake on the house that was very tasty

Good service and atmosphere but the meats are all tough because they are all overcooked … the side dishes are all ok but for some reason all the meat is invariably dry …one of our salads had a rotten leaf in it, that is also not very impressive

A small restaurant near the Mannheim fire station. The food is prepared on the visible grill and is really delicious. The service staff were friendly and always provided us with enough drinks. It was a successful dinner. THANK YOU ❤️

Netter Service, saubere Toiletten, lieblose Teller, Fertigsosse, Beilagensalat lieblos, 19 EUR für Gyros mit Pommes???, 4,50 EUR für eine Saftschorle und das an dem Standort? Nicht nochmal! Nettes Personal kann das nicht rausreißen und die Preise sind unverschämt für Mannheim

Das Thessaloniki liegt am Alten Messplatz in Mannheim, sehr zentral, Bus und Straßenbahn, Parken etwas schwieriger. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen, gute Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken, keine Hektik. Wir hatten einige kleine Sonderwünsche, die gerne erfüllt wurden. Die Qualität der Speisen (Fleisch bzw. Gemüse) war sehr gut, nicht übermäßig stark gewürzt und alles frisch und schmackhaft. Zum Abschluss gab es noch einen Kuchen vom Haus, sehr lecker, obwohl ich eigentlich kein Kuchenesser bin. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Super leckeres Essen, noch nie so gut gegessen wie hier. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend , man fühlt sich sehr wohl. Das Restaurant ist sauber und sehr stilvoll eingerichtet. Nur zum weiter empfehlen... @garnelencocktail @teufelsspieß @gegrillte Peperoni mit Knoblauch @spieß mit knoblauchpaste

Essen war lecker. Portionen sind kleiner geworden und die Preise sind inzwischen so hoch dass wir uns dieses Lokal nicht mehr leisten können Auch gabs keinen Ouzo mehr aufs Haus. Schade aber wir finden bestimmt einen neuen Lieblings Griechen.

Ich bin Stammgast dort schon seit über 10 Jahren, wahrscheinlich sogar fast 20 Jahren, als der Besitzer noch sein Restaurant in Mannheim-Schönau hatte. Es ist jedes mal ein Gaumenschmaus mit schneller und freundlicher Bedienung. Meine Favoriten sind die gegrillten Peperoni und der Ochsenspieß der auf der Zunge zergeht. Uneingeschränkt Empfehlung aber man sollte besser reservieren.

Wir sind nicht das erste Mal in dieser Gaststätte gewesen. Früher war es besser. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, kam jedoch, als wir die Letzten im Lokal waren nicht mehr vorbei um nach weiteren Wünschen zu fragen. Wir hätten sonst alle noch ein weiteres Getränk bestellt. Die Metaxasoße war eine Mehlsoße, die wenig Geschmack hatte und sehr fett war. Wir werden dieses Lokal nicht mehr besuchen!

Personal freundlich. Essen durchweg nicht besonders, stark gewürzt. Salatdressing fertiges Produkt aus der Flasche, Beilagesalat sehr klein. Soße zum Schafskäse klumpig und fettig. Sehr schönes Ambiente, Bedienung freundlich, leider das Essen nicht besonders. Speisekarte langweilig, altmodisch, animiert in keinster Weise zum bestellen. Homepage noch schlimmer, die übliche Metro-Entwicklung, die fast jeder Grieche hat. In Sachen Werbung und Präsentation schrecklich.

Wir kennen die Stadt Thessaloniki schon seit Jahren und kommen immer wieder gerne. Der Umgang mit den Gästen ist familiär und freundlich. Die Qualität der Speisen ist sehr gut, die Beilagensalate sind ausbaufähig. Einen selbstgebackenen griechischen Kuchen gibt es auch noch. Insgesamt ist man in guten Händen. Das Preisniveau ist in den letzten Jahren etwas hoch, was aber auch an den Pachtpreisen liegen kann.

Der Chef macht den Grüßonkel. Hat eine aufdringlich, anbiedernde Art, die sehr aufgesetzt wirkt. Das Essen ist typisch griechisch. Qualitativ ehr unter dem Durchnitt, vieles trieft vor Fett und ist oft aus dem Eimer, wie die Salate. Etwas lieblos angerichtet. Da gibt es in Mannheim viele die mehr drauf haben.
