Been here so many times and it's always great!

The food was delicious, but the portions were just enough to fill you up. I would have left hungry without the starter. The prices were a bit higher, but that's noticeable almost everywhere. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and from the first row, you have a beautiful view of the lake.

The atmosphere isn't relaxed. Too many rules, prohibitions, etc. The laid-back Greek culture isn't present.

Malvasia is beautifully situated, and the winter garden/terrace feels like you're on vacation. The food was good but not outstanding, especially considering the not-so-cheap prices! Competition is quite fierce in this area. Two of us paid €102, each of us had grilled pepperoni to start with, and for the main course, we had a skewer, fries, a side salad, a baked gyro, fries, and a side salad. We each had 2-3 drinks. It's worth it!

Great food, great ambience, nice-friendly-attentive service

We had a wonderful evening; the terrace overlooking the Stollenwörth pond is a dream. We didn't have a reservation, but we still got a lovely spot. The service was friendly and attentive. The prawns for starters were absolutely delicious. For the main course, you can't go wrong with the gyros with fries and biftekti in Metaxa sauce.

Unfortunately, I can't confirm the supposedly "great ambiance on the beautiful lakeside terrace" at all. During our visit, the awning was fully extended, and the entire terrace was like a large tent. The tables were set up in three rows. The outer row facing the outside would have been nice. (Unfortunately, we didn't get a table there, even though two were available.) But in the middle and inner rows, the ambiance was abysmal. It was dark and unloved, like a garage. We left immediately.

Hier kann man sehr lecker und günstig Essen . Nebenbei kann man auch ein kulinarisches Geschmackerlebnis erleben . Und mit seinen Freunden sehr viel Spaß haben . Die Kellner*innen sind alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Beim Essen ist für jederman etwas dabei.

Delight and only positive impressions. The building is inconspicuous, but as soon as you enter, you plunge into a cozy and stylish atmosphere. We had dinner here with a man on the occasion of his birthday. I ordered Dorado on the grill - excellent taste and roasting. Salad and grilled vegetables are served with it. The dishes were brought 15 minutes after the order. While waiting, they brought wine and salad. In good weather, of course, it is better to sit on the terrace and admire the lake and nature. But it is also very nice inside. Soft sofas, armchairs, subdued lighting. Romance🩷 At the end of the dinner, we ordered coffee, and as a compliment, we were offered two glasses of ouzo. Thank you for a pleasant evening. Parking is a 2-minute walk away, very convenient.

A wonderful evening at Malvasia! The dreamy ambiance right on the lake is truly something special – very atmospheric and relaxing. The wine selection was excellent, and the service was extremely friendly. Unfortunately, the grilled dishes were rather mediocre, but the overall atmosphere more than made up for it. All in all, a successful evening – we'd love to come back!

Beautiful ambiance, the terrace by the lake is stunning, and the restaurant is very stylishly decorated! The service is extremely attentive and friendly. We felt very comfortable! The food was delicious, especially the vegetarian moussaka with couscous, which was truly a very special dish!

The reception and table allocation by older gentlemen shortly before retirement was unfriendly and rude. We had reserved a table with a lake view a week before. When we arrived we got the stupid answer that everyone wants that. Visibly annoyed and without any further words or smiles, he and mercifully sat down at a table of four, even though there were still a lot of tables free. Hospitality is something else! And you shouldn't take your bad mood out on your guests, unless you can do without it in the future....

Service as always very nice and quick. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has declined recently. So I don't come as often as I used to. I hope that changes again

Four of us were at Malvasia in mid-April, great ambience, beautiful location at the Stollenwörthweiher, courteous and quick service, BUT the food! A complete disaster. The stuffed loin was completely dry and on the grill plates the meat was only lukewarm and grilled to death and extremely lightly seasoned. You couldn't tell the different types of meat apart in terms of taste and it certainly wasn't high quality meat. The fries were also lukewarm and greasy. Unfortunately, the side salad wasn't worth mentioning either. Only the grilled pepperoni was ok. So all in all, we (four people!!!) have never eaten so badly in recent years, hence the recession... the food here is not recommended!

A very tasty Greek in a wonderful atmosphere. The outdoor area borders directly on the Stöllenwörthweiher in Neckarau and the interior is also very tastefully and modernly furnished. The staff is very friendly, but the stress is noticeable. The food is very tasty and beautifully prepared. The prices for food and drink are already very high, although a nice evening in a beautiful setting makes up for it.

Overpriced and not authentic Greek food. Manager is also very rude. We booked a table for a birthday on the lake side but we got a table inside. Manager didn’t care at all to fix it. He said they have a bigger party booked over there.

Simply wonderful. We came across the restaurant because our daughter has celiac disease and it is possible for her to eat something in this restaurant and what can I say, we were all completely thrilled. I'm still raving about it Side salad, which was just really good on its own. The service was super nice and were always on their toes. All in one, simply a top restaurant. We'll be back, definitely. Wir waren heute mit einer größeren Gruppe zum Essen dort. Das Essen ist leider eine totale Enttäuschung.Der Fisch war vorher gefroren,man hat es rausgeschmeckt,die Mischung aus Fisch und Gefrierschrank. Sehr widerlich! Fleisch war trocken. Alles schmeckt nach Geschmacksverstärker,hat mit einer traditionellen griechischen Küche nix zu tun. Das Ambiente ist ok,man könnte so viel mehr draus machen. Die polnische Bedienung war sehr nett. Das Essen aber ist wirklich sehr schlecht.

The Malvasia restaurant is located in a somewhat remote location, parking spaces are about 50 meters away from the restaurant. We always reserve 2 days in advance, so you won't have any problems and you'll always get space. Food and service was always perfect. The restaurant exudes a cozy atmosphere. Always happy to come back.

Price-performance 0 justified 90min delivery time. Called twice and lied to. Food cold! Musakka consists of minced meat and bechamel pudding. Everything tastes boring. Food had to go back in the oven. Complete starter for the bin! We don't order anymore and we can't recommend it! I'm really disappointed.

The Malvasia has become our regular restaurant for celebrating beautiful occasions, family visits or just a nice evening for two. The waitresses are always very attentive and try to fulfill every wish. The meat is always nice and tender and the fries are crispy. Big compliments again and see you next month at the latest!

Great place and good food. It's not cheap but the quality of the food is also very good. Price performance fits.

I've known it for a few years now and am very impressed with the ambience, quality and service. It is well above the average of Greek restaurants, as you can tell by the quality of the stuffed grape leaves, which are extremely fresh and crunchy. Unfortunately, due to a lack of staff, the opening at midday was stopped. In summer the terrace facing the pond is very nice, but the distance between the tables is far too small. The winter garden, which is actually very nice, has the disadvantage that it echoes a lot and is therefore unpleasantly loud. Nevertheless, we recommend that you make a reservation for Friday and Saturday! In the summer, an outdoor table overlooking the water is like a getaway in the middle of the city, and the lockable pergola to prevent extreme sunlight completes the experience.

Great restaurant, super nice service, food is really tasty. The decor is beautiful, and in summer there is also a great terrace with a view of the lake. We will definitely test that out in the summer. Everything is right here. We would love to come back, we felt very comfortable. Thank you for the great service. Malvasia was our favorite Greek restaurant. The food was excellent and authentic, as was the ambience, the location and the excellent service from our favorite waiter, Dimitra. However, on the last two visits we noticed a significant deterioration in the quality of the meat (particularly gyros and souzoukakia); The taste was no longer satisfactory. In addition, the portions have become smaller as prices have risen. This is very unfortunate, as the location and service continued to impress. We hope that the quality of the food will improve and would then like to visit the restaurant regularly again.

The food tastes very good, but the presentation of the food is shocking and does not increase appetite. It can surprise the taste buds, but the presentation is not worth the expensive price. Recommend the starter’s shrimp🍤.

Wir waren zum Weihnachtsessen mit der Familie hier. Am Telefon wurde nicht gesagt, dass der Tisch nur für 3 Stunden reserviert ist. Somit mussten wir unseren Nachtisch runterschlingen und währenddessen auch noch zahlen. Das Lokal war sehr laut und die Luft war so schlecht, dass unsere Kleidung feucht war als wir rauskamen. Das Essen war unterdurchschnittlich aber hatte überdurchschnittliche Preise. Die Portionen waren zudem sehr klein und lieblos angerichtet.

The food was far too expensive for the poor quality. Drink prices were just as steep. The quality of the meat was of the standard of a cheap supermarket. The taste was catastrophic as was the appearance and the overall quality. This store was the last time I saw you. It was really terrible. I know that taste is always relative, but in this case it is objective.

We've been going there for years and have nothing to complain about. Very nicely furnished, definitely reserve for holidays or weekends when the weather is good. Staff is very friendly, well organized and attentive. I also like to ride my bike there in the summer and drink a good wine 🍷 with an appetizer ;) Gyros were very tasty again today :)

For me the best Greek restaurant in Mannheim. Excellent cuisine, very nice ambience. What should be highlighted are the super nice and always courteous service staff - including the boss. Absolutely recommended restaurant!!

The ambience speaks for itself, but the portions are getting smaller and the prices are getting more and more expensive. You could count the fries on two hands and that's saying something. The ambience doesn't make up for it either. For me, Malvasia is no longer an option.

The view over the Stollenwörthweiher is unique - you feel a bit like you are vacation before. The food is also highly recommended and the service was on point!

Very nice friendly welcome. We were allowed to choose our table, whether we wanted to sit inside or outside. The service was good and special requests were fulfilled promptly. The food was very tasty, well grilled and very nicely presented. The kids got a little surprise.

We were here yesterday and unfortunately I can't share the 4.5 star rating! Drink prices are completely exorbitant (0.3 l cola in a glass €4, Ouzo €5.50, bottle of water €6.50! The salad was mini and wilted, salad dressing tasted artificial and the meat was inedible! We definitely won't be coming back! The only plus point is the friendly service and the location

The day before yesterday I was there with my family (12 people) as hosts... and I'm really very disappointed. The portions are in the last few weeks! Visibly smaller, even on the menu the skewer was crossed out for the grill plate (103) 😞 The price/performance ratio is no longer justified here. The beautiful ambience and friendly staff can't make up for it. Unfortunately we have to look for another “tribe” of Greeks.

Good ambience, service friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, the portion is very, very small, but the prices are hefty. The taste is just average. Unfortunately, a significant deterioration from last time. Therefore no more than three stars. Wouldn't eat there again either.

The ambience outside was very nice, the seating was tight and it was very loud when it got fuller. The starter platter for 21.90 is quite cheeky, it mainly consists of onions. Gyros very mixed and with knobs. Unfortunately we didn't like it at all.

Reservamos fuera para poder ver de fondo el lago,se estaba súper fresquito y tienen cosas para espantar los mosquitos. Servicio muy amable, pero sin saber hablar español. La comida estaba buenísima. Muy buena opción, recomendable al máximo.

Yesterday the four of us dined in this restaurant for the first time. Ambience and first impression really good when you walk in. The table assignment is only done by the boss, which seems a bit old-fashioned. The order itself was a bit slow. Despite four waiters, we had to "ask" one if we could order. Clearing both the starter and the main course really took a long time. Waiters walked past several times without having anything in their hands. The first thing I learned in my gastronomic youth was that you never run on empty. Oh well. It's just annoying when empty dishes are standing in front of you. A little more attention wouldn't have hurt. The quality of the food left us ambivalent: For the starter - pepperoni with garlic - the pepperoni came out of the bag and you had to look in vain for the fresh garlic. Charging €9 for this is really excessive. Beef liver and loin were excellent, gyros were too dry and the grill plate also had very dry components in addition to the gyros, which is also obligatory here. The pricing for gyros and the grill plate of around €20 does not correspond to what you get for your money. All in all, our expectations were unfortunately not met and we unfortunately cannot recommend the restaurant despite the beautiful ambience.

Ordered food to go. Ordering via app is very easy. Payment via Paypal. The food should be picked up 40 minutes after ordering. Unfortunately I waited another 20 minutes on site. When we arrived home (5 minutes from the restaurant) it was a big disappointment. Salad moldy and old, beef liver cold. Starters price performance doesn't fit at all. Totally overpriced. Called the restaurant, criticism was brushed off and no solution was offered. Promised a call back in the evening. Nothing happens. Luckily I got my money back through buyer protection. No recommendation!

Price/performance is not right here. The quality of the food is poor and a lot of it looks like it wasn't homemade. I got 3 (!) different answers to the question of what meat the minced meat is made of. Since I don't like lamb, this was important to me. Nobody could tell me 100%. Service hectic and unfriendly. Unfortunately, the beautiful location doesn’t help either….

The ambience is very nice. You have a beautiful view of the lake. It is very loud when the house is full. I find the prices absolutely exaggerated and outrageous. I expect large portions. I've eaten better at other Greeks. Wouldn't visit this restaurant again.

Waren hier schon öfters. Schön gelegen am Wasser. Die Terrasse mit Blick aufs Wasser ist immer gut besucht. Allerdings haben hier die Preise besonders für die Getränke kräftig angezogen. 0,2 ltr Savignon Blanc €8,70, 0,2 ltr. Rose €8,20, 1 kl. Prosecco € 8,00. Ein kleines Bier für € 4,20.Die Preise für die Gerichte sind für einen Griechen auch sehr gesalzen: 1 Portion Tzaziki € 8,90, 1 Vorspeisenteller für sage und schreibe € 21,90, Lammfilet € 34,90, der Grillteller (nix Besonderes) € 19,40. Die Metaxa Sauce hierzu mußte extra mit € 4,00 berappt werden. Service war aufmerksam und schnell.

The Greek restaurant has a beautiful location with a great outdoor area. The service was very attentive and friendly. Unfortunately the food did not meet our expectations. The quality of the products did not make a good impression on us and the price-performance ratio was not satisfactory. Unfortunately, the meat on our grill plates was dry and tough. The Metaxa sauce and the tzatziki didn't taste homemade and the mixed salad also looked like it came from a package. The dressing didn't taste homemade either. It is unfortunate that the first positive impression of the location was not confirmed by the food. For these reasons, we unfortunately cannot recommend the restaurant and will probably not come back again.

Schöne Terrasse mit Bahnhofshallen Atmosphäre, Gemütlichkeit kommt keine auf! Das Essen Standart schwach. Vielleicht würde ein gelernter, motivierter griechischer Koch fallen gut tun. Sehr schade um die tolle Lage am See. Der Service hat auch nichts mit griechischer Gastfreundschaft zu tun. Sehr sehr schade!!!

Very weak, first time there, food was lukewarm, after 4 minutes the (6 small) grilled pepperoni didn't come hot either. One could assume that meat has already been prepared and warmed up briefly. At the price of a grill plate for €26.50 you would expect something different. Sorry but never again.
