The food, especially the salads, were very atypical for Greek cuisine. There were very few temptations on the surprise appetizer plate. However, the prices are very high.

The service was very friendly. The atmosphere is very pleasant and with a beautiful view. The food was very tasty and arrived quickly. We were well full. Price-wise, completely okay

Located in a quiet location within walking distance of the Rhine with a good, extensive Greek menu. Orders are received in a friendly and uncomplicated manner. The ouzo on the bill also makes a visit here a pleasant, hospitable stay.

A fantastic Greek restaurant with excellent food and first class service I had the pleasure of eating at this Greek restaurant and I highly recommend it! The meals were absolutely delicious I was particularly impressed by the staff: extremely friendly, attentive and always with a smile on their faces. You feel welcome and valued as a guest here. The warm Greek hospitality makes the visit something very special. The atmosphere is cozy and invites you to linger. If you love Greek food or want to try it, you definitely shouldn't miss this restaurant! I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

Review: A really great place with friendly and attentive staff. The large selection of dishes leaves nothing to be desired. The Metaxas skewer and the grilled pepperoni are particularly recommended – simply delicious! Definitely worth a visit.

We ate at Dioni for the first time today. The location is beautifully located directly overlooking the Rhine. There is a warm and cozy atmosphere in the restaurant. The service was nice and quick. It took less than 5 minutes and we already had the drinks. We didn't have to wait long for the food either. Price/performance is top. We really enjoyed it. After the meal there was an ouzo as an aperitif. We'll definitely come back.

Uniquely good food. The meat is perfect. The service is very friendly and tried hard, but some orders (drinks) were lost. Possibly because of the many guests (all tables occupied) the atmosphere seems to be a bit older but completely fine. The price is absolutely right.

Service and the environment are really good. Unfortunately the food is subpar. My starter salad had a long piece of plastic. I was then offered a second drink even though I could only drink one. I would have expected it to be taken off the bill. Unfortunately that didn't happen. Gyros Special No. 51 was totally over salted. The sauce tasted extremely like a sauce thickener. Sideboard was really nice. Sirloin was a disgrace. Totally dry and the sheep's cheese was not grilled or treated in the oven. Apparently it was simply placed on it straight out of the packaging. The gyros in the 3rd and 4th dish were so dry that they remained standing. Food also tasted extremely like Maggi. We wouldn't come back.

We recently visited this Greek restaurant and were overall very satisfied. The service was friendly and quick, which made the visit very pleasant. The food was fresh and tasty, and absolutely value for money. A small point of criticism is the starters, which are honestly a bit too expensive for us. The location is rather rustic, so you could perhaps get a little more out of the location right on the Rhine. Still a recommended place for a nice evening! We'll definitely be back.

Unfortunately, no longer the Dioni which we really liked. The prices have risen a lot and the food is just average. Unfortunately the gyros was out, which is not possible with a Greek. The salad was rather underseasoned. The main course was good. Little meat but tenderly fried. Unfortunately, the typically delicious tzatziki was also missing from the plate. A pity. Rather disappointing. The beautiful ambience is of no use.

A "perfect place" for anyone who wants to eat "typically Greek". The food is excellently prepared and the portions are quite generous even for “good eaters”. The staff is very friendly, hard-working and, not unimportantly, there are enough of them, which ensures that you never have to wait forever for the waiter. And of course one of the main assets of this restaurant is its location. A place where you always enjoy coming back.

Nice restaurant right on the water. We were there on a Saturday evening with 15 people. There were a few other companies there at the same time and everything still went perfectly. The food arrived at the same time, very attentive staff! Service 1a and the food was all perfect. It couldn't be better!

We were there with the family after the civil wedding. Due to the number of guests, it was opened especially for us. The preliminary discussions regarding the menu were uncomplicated and relaxed. The food and service were top and we were more than satisfied. The price/performance ratio is also very good and we definitely recommend the restaurant!!! Service friendly. Preferably come by bike. The only thing that didn't appeal was that we waited over an hour for the food. Our order “seems” to have been forgotten. Don't know if we'll come back. Had dinner twice; Service good. Waiting time reasonable. Mykonos platter delicious Schnitzel and side salad are absolutely not recommended.

We had reserved a table for two people and were even able to choose a seat with a view of the Rhine. We were served quickly and friendly. The appetizers consisted of grilled pepperoni. For the main course we ordered salmon and souvlaki, each with a side salad. Our food was freshly prepared, was of great quality and tasted very good.

Everyone at the table was happy. Only the potato wedges are beyond praise. The fries were better received.

Had 3 dishes from the menu as a buffet. (Turkey steaks, pork skewer, gyros, side dishes, sauces, salad) There was also a starter. I was a little disappointed with the gyros but the tastes are different. The service was very good despite the many guests. There were several desserts to choose from, tiramisu, peat, mixed ice cream and vanilla ice cream with hot raspberries, everything was good.

Immer sehr schön hier her zu kommen, super service und sehr leckeres essen in großen Portionen. Tolle aussicht und leichte mim auto zu erreichen. Sehr lange Familien Tradition hier zu essen und es war immer sehr gut.

Wir waren schon oefter in diesem Restaurant. Ich muss sagen, dass das Essen ein wenig an Qualitaet verloren hat. Es ist nicht schlecht aber nicht mehr so gut wir es einmal war. Leider war es unglaublich laut an diesem Abend, war natuerlich auch sehr voll. Fazit> Dioni ist jetzt vergleichbar mit anderen Griechen. Vorher hatter er eine andere Klasse und hob sich deutlich ab. Vielleicht hatte er aber auch nur einen etwas gebrauchten Tag, kann ja mal vorkommen.

Wir hatten um 17:30 reserviert. Das Restaurant war schon sehr gut besucht. Vorspeise stand 10 Minuten nach der Bestellung schon auf dem Tisch. Der Service ist allererste Klasse, die Jungs habens echt drauf. Hier fühlt man sich sehr wohl. Freundliche Atmosphäre, Speisen hervorragend und es geht trotz vieler Gäste ziemlich flott. Würde gerne mehr Sterne geben.

Habe da schon mehrere schöne Abende verbracht.....bester Grieche in der Umgebung. Sehr freundliches Personal:-))

Sehr gemütlich. Es gibt auch eine Terrasse mit Blick auf den Rhein. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich, nicht aufdringlich,aber immer da, wenn irgendwas gewünscht wird. Das Essen ist auch sehr lecker und die Portionen sind auch üppig.

Ich hatte den Lammspieß, der Mega lecker 🤤😋 war. Wir saßen oben auf dem Balkon mit Flussblick, ganz toll. Personal überaus zuvorkommend.

Das beste griechische Restaurant, in dem wir seit langem waren. Der Vorspeisenteller war lecker; die Fleischgerichte außerordentlich gut, insbesondere das butterzarte Lammkotelett. Auf jeden Fall erwähnenswert ist der aufmerksame, sehr freundliche Service. Gerne wieder!

Das Essen war sehr lecker, der Service insgesamt sehr gut, schnell und aufmerksam. Preisleistung top. Einziger Abzug für mich das Ambiente. Prinzipiell schön gelegen am Rhein, aber der Boden auf dem die Tische/Bestuhlung steht sah einfach überhaupt nicht einladend aus. Keine Grasfläche sondern einfach nur Erde. Das sollte man vlt überdenken.

Vor einigen Jahren noch war ich regelmäßiger Besucher und war natürlich vor allem von der tollen Lage am Rhein begeistert, die den Besuch im Sommer äußerst lohnenswert machte. Leider hat sich das Niveau der Speisen deutlich verschlechtert, zuletzt fand ich als Beilage zu einem höchstens durchschnittlichen Fleischgerícht kalte Conveniencekroketten auf dem Teller, das wiegt dann auch die schöne Aussicht nicht auf.

Schönes Lokal direkt am Rhein. Personal freundlich und sehr aufmerksam und schnell. Die Speisekarte übersichtlich und nicht zu überladen. Wir waren zu 12. Essen und hatten kaum Wartezeiten,Gute Betreuung der Gäste man musste nicht lange auf sein Getränk warten sobald dieses leer getrunken war. Das Essen hat uns von der Vorspeise bis hin zum Dessert sehr gut geschmeckt, Portionsgrößen optimal und der Preis war absolut im Rahmen. Alles in allem ein gelungener Abend mit sehr guter Bewirtung. Wir kommen gern wieder!

Sehr leckeres griechisches Essen mit herrlichem Blick auf den Rhein und super nettes Personal! Ein bisschen könnte man allerdings vegetarische Hauptspeisen und Melitzanosalata auf der Karte vermissen. Falls das noch kommen sollte wäre es perfekt!
