Waren zum ersten Mal dort und sehr zufrieden. Essen lecker Bedienung sehr freundlich

Wir waren heute das erste mal in diesem wunderschön gelegenen Restaurant. In keinem Restaurant wurden wir bisher so aufmerksam und wertschätzend bedient wie hier. Ein ganz großes Lob an das gesamte Personal. Das Essen war sehr lecker, die Portionen ausreichend und man hatte kurze Wartezeiten. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Eines unserer Lieblingsrestaurants, wenn wir Familie in der Gegend um Mannheim besuchen. Wunderschöner Blick auf den Rhein, sowohl drinnen als auch draußen! Freundliche und hilfsbereite Bedienung und hervorragendes Essen. Alles, was wir dort gegessen haben, war sehr gut. Wir können es wärmstens empfehlen, wenn Sie in der Gegend sind.

Sehr schöner Lage direkt am Rhein. War leider geschlossen und so kein Essen möglich.

Ein herrlicher Garten mit traumhaftem Rheinblick. Auch der Speisesaal bietet einen wunderschönen Blick aufs Wasser. Ausgezeichnete Küche.

Ein absoluter Geheimtipp! Dioni zur Schindkaut überzeugt auf ganzer Linie. Vom ersten Moment an fühlt man sich herzlich willkommen. Der Service ist außergewöhnlich freundlich, aufmerksam und gleichzeitig angenehm unaufdringlich. Das Essen ist hervorragend: frisch, geschmacklich perfekt abgestimmt und mit viel Liebe zum Detail zubereitet. Man merkt sofort, dass hier Wert auf Qualität und echte Gastfreundschaft gelegt wird. Auch das Ambiente lädt zum Wohlfühlen ein – gemütlich, gepflegt und ideal, um eine schöne Zeit zu verbringen, egal ob mit Familie, Freunden oder einfach zum Genießen. Fazit: Rundum stimmig und absolut empfehlenswert. Wer gutes Essen und echten, ehrlichen Service schätzt, ist hier genau richtig. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Das Essen ist sehr, sehr lecker und das Gyros ist vom Drehspieß, man kann wunderschön auf der Terrasse sitzen mit Blick auf den Rhein! Der Service und die Freundlichkeit sind perfekt, was will man mehr? Der Beste Grieche in ganz Mannheim!

Eine absolute Top Adresse in Mannheim für einen authentischen Grieche 👍🏽 hier passt wirklich alles - die Location direkt am Wasser im grünen, aber natürlich auch das Essen an erster Stelle. Super Fleischqualität 🥩. Rundum alles sehr lecker und die Bedienung ist dort immer sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Ich kann Dioni zu 💯 Prozent nur empfehlen !

Ich war seit längerem wieder in diesem Restaurant. Die Vorspeise war super, bis auf das bisschen verbrannte Brot zur den Peperoni. Leider war ich vom Hauptgericht enttäuscht. Ich hatte Gyros überbacken bestellt! Erhalten habe ich kein Gyros, sondern Geschnetzeltes Gyros Art. Gyros ist das typische Fleisch am Drehspiess. Wenn Ich Gyros bestellen, will ich auch Gyros und kein Geschnetzeltes. Das tut mir sehr leid, aber das ist leider nicht akzeptabel für mich. Dann sollte man die Karte ändern. Und die Karte online ist auch nicht aktuell, da ich eigentlich ein andres Gericht wollte, was im Restaurant nicht auf der Karte stand.Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Atmosphäre ist angenehm, vor allem im Sommer draußen am Wasser.

Wir waren zu zweit Essen. Preis Leistung war gut. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Im Sommer es dort bestimmt noch schöner.

The interior definitely needs a renovation; much of it looks outdated, my chair wobbled, and the lighting is a bit harsh. For me, the real highlight is the location on the Rhine, with a fantastic terrace view and a garden offering a direct view of the river. It's very pleasing that the prices haven't risen as sharply in recent years as in other restaurants; the value for money is perfectly acceptable, and the drink prices are also reasonable. The grilled peppers are excellent, the accompanying garlic sauce is exceptionally delicious, and the quality of the grilled skewers and the accompanying sauces is also superb. The service is attentive and friendly.

At 48, I'm not exactly a newbie. And I've eaten Greek food many times in my life. But I had to be 48 to find the best Greek restaurant. I've never eaten such good Greek food before. Everything was top-notch. And the gyros, folks – a dream. With a subtle hint of herbs; I'd guess sage, but who knows. Still, the gyros are phenomenal. I can only recommend Dioni zur Schindkaut to anyone who loves Greek food!

There are better options for less, but it wasn't as tasty, but it was expensive. The skewer definitely wasn't worth that much.

The food was delicious and the atmosphere was super nice! We sat in the beer garden and had a direct view of the water. The wait times were a bit longer, but with 34 degrees Celsius, we also happened to catch a day when the entire beer garden was packed.

The restaurant impresses with truly delicious food – every dish is freshly prepared and tastes top-notch. The beautiful outdoor area right on the Rhine is particularly noteworthy, creating a wonderful atmosphere in the summer. The staff is friendly and attentive, but seems a bit stressed during peak times. Especially on warm summer days when it's busy, you can unfortunately expect longer waits. The prices are rather high, which is partly justified given the quality and the unique location, but might be off-putting for some. Overall, a lovely place for a special meal by the water – best with some time and patience in mind.

Delicious Greek food, the portions are very large, we ordered a delicious appetizer platter for three people, a great appetizer full of flavor, and then one grilled dish each, delicious, great atmosphere, wonderful views of the river, friendly service, we lacked for nothing!

You can sit comfortably inside or outside. The service is very friendly, attentive, and quick. Special requests (e.g., no garlic, etc.) are also happily accommodated. The food is always delicious. We've tried fish, meat, appetizers, and desserts. Everything is great. We always love coming here!

Located in a quiet location within walking distance of the Rhine with a good, extensive Greek menu. Orders are received in a friendly and uncomplicated manner. The ouzo on the bill also makes a visit here a pleasant, hospitable stay.

The warm Greek hospitality makes the visit something very special. The atmosphere is cozy and invites you to linger. Review: A really great place with friendly and attentive staff. The large selection of dishes leaves nothing to be desired. The Metaxas skewer and the grilled pepperoni are particularly recommended – simply delicious! Definitely worth a visit.

We ate at Dioni for the first time today. The location is beautifully located directly overlooking the Rhine. There is a warm and cozy atmosphere in the restaurant. The service was nice and quick. It took less than 5 minutes and we already had the drinks. We didn't have to wait long for the food either. Price/performance is top. We really enjoyed it. After the meal there was an ouzo as an aperitif. We'll definitely come back.

Uniquely good food. The meat is perfect. The service is very friendly and tried hard, but some orders (drinks) were lost. Possibly because of the many guests (all tables occupied) the atmosphere seems to be a bit older but completely fine. The price is absolutely right.

Service and the environment are really good. Unfortunately the food is subpar. My starter salad had a long piece of plastic. I was then offered a second drink even though I could only drink one. I would have expected it to be taken off the bill. Unfortunately that didn't happen. Gyros Special No. 51 was totally over salted. The sauce tasted extremely like a sauce thickener. Sideboard was really nice. Sirloin was a disgrace. Totally dry and the sheep's cheese was not grilled or treated in the oven. Apparently it was simply placed on it straight out of the packaging. The gyros in the 3rd and 4th dish were so dry that they remained standing. Food also tasted extremely like Maggi. We wouldn't come back.

We recently visited this Greek restaurant and were overall very satisfied. The service was friendly and quick, which made the visit very pleasant. The food was fresh and tasty, and absolutely value for money. A small point of criticism is the starters, which are honestly a bit too expensive for us. The location is rather rustic, so you could perhaps get a little more out of the location right on the Rhine. Still a recommended place for a nice evening! We'll definitely be back.

Unfortunately, no longer the Dioni which we really liked. The prices have risen a lot and the food is just average. Unfortunately the gyros was out, which is not possible with a Greek. The salad was rather underseasoned. The main course was good. Little meat but tenderly fried. Unfortunately, the typically delicious tzatziki was also missing from the plate. A pity. Rather disappointing. The beautiful ambience is of no use.

A "perfect place" for anyone who wants to eat "typically Greek". The food is excellently prepared and the portions are quite generous even for “good eaters”. The staff is very friendly, hard-working and, not unimportantly, there are enough of them, which ensures that you never have to wait forever for the waiter. And of course one of the main assets of this restaurant is its location. A place where you always enjoy coming back.

Nice restaurant right on the water. We were there on a Saturday evening with 15 people. There were a few other companies there at the same time and everything still went perfectly. The food arrived at the same time, very attentive staff! Service 1a and the food was all perfect. It couldn't be better!
