We arrived at 8pm and the restaurant was quite empty, but we still had to make a reservation for 8:45pm. We arrived on time and there was only us and another couple there. The food is a bit expensive, we only decided to go because we were staying at the hotel. The young waitress with curly hair was very polite and charismatic, the chicken burger was very tasty and well made, it's a shame it was expensive and came without fries, which we paid for separately. The surprise was the Maroni crème brulée, which was delicious and very well made, and came with an extremely tasty raspberry and cinnamon ice cream. We would only go back if the price were more attractive.

We order 2 Burger hänchenbrustfilet which smelled like old beef from the start we painted almost half of it but we found the french fries very good and we complained to the waiter about it. He charged us for a burger and our drinks which I find unacceptable. After waiting 30 minutes for two burgers they cost 18 euros and despite what we paid we went to another restaurant to eat because we were passing by. It made us sick to our stomachs, we waited for no reason for something that was not worth it. When again?

It is with regret that I have to give a negative review of the restaurant at the Hotel Amber. Unfortunately the service left a lot to be desired. The waiter who served us was arrogant, unfriendly and clearly ignored the guests. The order was received with clear dislike, and questions about the food were answered curtly and irritably. We felt ignored and treated like intruders, not guests. Such behavior is unacceptable, especially in a place that should care about customer satisfaction. It's a shame, because the restaurant itself has potential - the decor is pleasant and the menu looked interesting. Unfortunately, the negative impression of the service completely overshadowed these positive aspects. I hope that my review will be understood as constructive criticism and will contribute to improving the quality of service in the restaurant.

I would like to tell you my recent experience in your restaurant, which was unfortunately very uncomfortable. On [December 4th, 2024 at 7 p.m.], I and my family were served by a waiter who unfortunately behaved unfriendly, arrogant and disrespectful. The waiter (tall man with a beard) ignored us and other guests and even insulted me. This experience greatly marred our visit and left us feeling very uncomfortable. I hope that appropriate measures can prevent such incidents in the future. Otherwise, I really appreciate the work of the rest of the staff and hope that a more positive experience is possible on a future visit.

We had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant and bar in Bad Reichenhall and it was a wonderful experience. From the stylish decor to the delicious food and drinks, everything came together perfectly. From start to finish, the service staff was friendly, attentive and always available when we had a question or wanted a recommendation. The staff were not only competent, but also clearly made an effort to make our visit particularly pleasant. Kudos to the team! The menu offers a great selection of regional and international dishes, prepared with great attention to detail. We chose the seasonal menu, which more than met our expectations. The beef steak and the fresh fish in particular were cooked to perfection and served with finely balanced side dishes. Vegetarians will also find a nice selection of creative dishes here. The bar offers an impressive selection of cocktails, wines and regional beer specialties. We tried the cocktail menu and were thrilled - the drinks were not only visually appealing, but also tasted excellent. For the quality on offer here, the prices are absolutely reasonable. You can tell that high-quality ingredients are used and every dish is prepared with attention to detail. The cocktails are also absolutely worth their price. A fantastic restaurant and bar that we can fully recommend. Everything is just right here: the ambience, the excellent service, the excellent cuisine and the creative selection of drinks. Anyone visiting Bad Reichenhall should definitely not miss this culinary experience. We'd love to come back!

The staff was really nice, but the service was anything but good. It was neither asked whether you had a wish to order a drink with your meal, nor was any sauce like ketchup served with the fries. The Black Angus steak, for which you pay just under €30, was fatty and veined, which we told the waiter but we were not offered a new or different meal or a discount or apology. The dessert was delicious, but it didn't come with vanilla ice cream as ordered and as it says on the menu, but with chocolate ice cream. Unfortunately not recommended.

The restaurant was on the ground floor of our hotel. To avoid long texts - it was simply amazing. Went there twice, the food was perfect, the service was sensational and the prices were okay too. Absolute recommendation!!

Es ist nicht mein erster Besuch in diesem tollen Lokal.. aber ich muss berichten, denn es hat sich einiges Getan. Vorallem erst zur Kulinarik. Nicht nur die neue Steakkarte, der Reifeschrank (Dry Aged), der Camba Bavaria Kühlschrank mit exzellenten Draft Bieren sondern auch die Wochenkarte sind der Wahnsinn! Heute hatte ich zum Abschluss meines Urlaubs einen Dry Aged Burger der seines gleichen Sucht. Das Fleisch butterzart, die Komponenten gut abgestimmt und das Bun auch fluffig und sehr stimmig. Allgemein merkt man hier auch einen personellen Umschwung.. als Gast fällt einem auf, dass das Team sich untereinander gut versteht und mit seiner professionellen Beratung glänzt. Nicht nur das Schankbier sondern auch das Angebot des Draft Bier Schrankes und der Spirituosen sowie der Cocktails ist in sehr gut geführter Hand und in toller Beratung! Ich als Sommelier kann das Bewerten... hier ist es immer gut. Man fühlt sich wohl! Vom Frühstück über den ganzen Tag verteilt (Am Wochenende wird Bundesliga und wenn Championsleague ist auch diese gezeigt!!!) fühlt man sich hier sehr gut aufgehoben! Chapeau! Gerne weiter so!

That was a unique experience. The beer garden was certainly nice. Unfortunately everything is dirty (we would still understand the leaves etc. from the trees). If you sit for a longer period of time and look around, you'll notice a few things: dirty chairs, a glass that's rolled under a chair, paper, etc. At least the pillows are big, comfortable and warm. We put our hope in the well-rated cuisine. First we get our tickets. Drinks are not asked for. We notice that we have different weekly menus. After asking, mine is the current one. The waitress wants to bring us another one. We say she doesn't need this. She comes by twice more and announces the next card, which we say again that we don't need it ("yes, yes, I'll bring it to you"). The card is put down again as you pass. We wait and can then order. By the way, the map on the internet is also not up to date. The beer therefore costs €4.10. In fact it costs €4.50. We chose "homemade asparagus cream soup with cream topping" and schnitzel with asparagus and hollandaise sauce with fries instead of potatoes. The schnitzel and the fries were good, the sauce was a ready-made product, the cream of asparagus soup had no cream topping but was very over-seasoned with croutons (some of which had been in the soup for a long time), so that at first I wasn't actually sure whether it was asparagus or cauliflower (from the other weekly menu). Instead of nothing or pieces of asparagus, which I would have expected in a cream of asparagus soup, there are plenty of husks in the soup. In the end I give up because it felt like there was only “insert” left in it. (Yes, ok, cream of asparagus soup is often made from asparagus peels, but they should be removed before serving). Once, as we were passing by, the waitress asked if everything was okay, but apparently wasn't interested in an answer. The beer we ordered came very quickly. When it was cleared away, she asked again if everything was ok. I then said. "Well, that's how it went. I've never had so many husks in the soup before" and pointed to the woody threads that had been sorted out. The waitress immediately took two steps back and asked: “What is that supposed to be”? My husband: The fibers from the asparagus. The waitress took two more steps back and said, slightly indignantly: "Yes, ok. I'll let the kitchen know." We then wanted to pay. The waitress was quickly back at the table with the bill and grumbled at me that I could have said that beforehand and then I would have gotten a new soup. I replied that I didn't want that. She then looked at me, yes, but I still should have said that beforehand, then I would have gotten something else. "Yes, but I wouldn't have wanted that either after I lost my appetite." In terms of content, it is true: If I had wanted something different, I could have contacted you beforehand. After the waitress actually stood at our table while we were clearing and asked again if everything was ok, I decided to say what wasn't ok for me. Reprimanding the guest for the fact that this feedback was requested but came at the wrong time is not possible - and certainly not in that tone! If you don't want the answer or you don't know how to deal with negative feedback, you can save yourself the question of whether everything was ok. If you had wanted to serve something instead for the inconvenience, that would still have been possible now: How about, for example? B. with a coffee or schnapps? It would be important to me to get feedback from the kitchen and, at best, an apology or feedback from the kitchen about what might have gone wrong, because honestly: who likes woody asparagus fibers in their soup? If I had previously given two or three stars, after this rebuke, which was completely out of tone, there is only one star left.

Definitely worth a trip! Good food, nice service, beautiful view and starting point for beautiful walks. In the summer there is also a fantastic swimming lake!

Sehr angenehme und stylische Atmosphäre. Faire Preise und freundliche Bedienung. Es gibt warme Speisen auch am Nachmittag für den frühen Hunger.
