Very quaint and cozy place. The owner is very quick and friendly. The portions are just right and the value is great. It's 100% worth a visit. We'll be happy to come back when we're there.

They actually still exist... those restaurateurs and restaurants where you're not only served very friendly, but also eat very well, and at reasonable prices. Rarely have hospitality and the quality of the food worked so well together. The restaurant industry would certainly have less to complain about if they took a leaf out of the book of the Spritzenhäusle and its owners. Thank you for the pleasant and enjoyable stay!

Hungry, we cycled past this small, unassuming house; the small menu featuring homemade spinach dumplings in tomato sauce won me over :) We were pleasantly surprised by the freshness of the food; everything was lovingly prepared. It's nice that such small, rustic restaurants still exist 🙏🏻

We were initially informed that the onion roast takes 30 minutes because everything is made fresh. My venison goulash was delicious and all in all a great dinner in a homely atmosphere.

One of, if not the best restaurant I have ever eaten at. The prices are also very reasonable. I ate the Kässpätzle, the goulash, the schnitzel and the bratwurst and can especially warmly recommend the Kässpätzle and the bratwurst with fried potatoes! The local beer Hirsch Helles also tasted great.

Thank you for this lovely evening, we felt very comfortable. The landlord is funny and has a great sense of humor. The ambience is like it was 150 years ago and the tiled stove makes everything pleasantly warm. The food is very tasty and well prepared. The price-performance ratio is right. The small thresholds at the doors should not be a problem for wheelchair users. By the way, the Rothaus tap system is the oldest that is still in operation, according to Rothaus! We are already looking forward to the next time!

Quaint economy with super friendly tenants. We spontaneously went here for dinner in the evening. The food was great (1x goulash and 1x schnitzel). We also tried the solyanka. If you've never had it before, you should definitely try it. We'd love to come back

We arrived at 8:00 p.m., unfortunately we hadn't seen in advance that the kitchen closed at 8:00 p.m. The landlord was super friendly and said no matter, come in, you won't get anything to eat anywhere. The menu has a good selection. The food is freshly prepared and tasted good to us. The restaurant is super quaint.

Positives: the owner, very soft spoken and well behaved man with giving useful tips/infos around the Blackforest. Food was purely authentic and tasted really good. Ambience is good provided you enjoy the old style German restaurants. The building is typical old building and been preserved as it is. Not so positives : On busy day finding a parking. Kitchen closes at 8pm, so need to be early.

We came to the restaurant through my husband, as he dined there for the first time 30 years ago. A bit hidden, but when we entered the restaurant it was cozy and warm thanks to the fireplace. The landlord was immediately very friendly and accommodating. We were eating with our 2 small dogs and 4 people and whether the cheese spaetzle or the schnitzel was a taste dream, because here the cook knows her craft and turns a flatbread soup into an unmistakable taste! It's a shame that they're on vacation now because of renovation work, but we'll be back next year! Due to the price-performance ratio, we can only recommend these dishes to everyone... Top!

Wir waren heute in diesem kleinen und charmanten Restaurant zu Gast. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Restaurant hat wirklich Flair, ist sehr rustikal eingerichtet und sprüht vor Schwarzwald-Charme. Der Gastwirt war überaus freundlich und richtig sympathisch. Das Essen wurde schnell serviert und war wirklich lecker. Die Portionen sind groß und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist top. Man merkte, dass viele "Einheimische" dieses Lokal besuchen, was für uns ein deutliches Qualitätsmerkmal ist. Das Lokal war gut besucht, aber man hatte nicht das Gefühl, dass dieser Ort ein "Touri-Magnet" ist, sondern eher ein Geheimtipp. Zum Schluss hat uns der Gastwirt noch ein paar tolle Tipps für unsere restliche Urlaubszeit hier mitgegeben. Wir können das Spritzenhäusle jedem weiterempfehlen, der urigen Charme zu schätzen weiß und der gerne deftige Hausmannskost isst. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
