I was very disappointed with my visit to this restaurant. After waiting for over two hours and despite asking several times, my food never arrived. I didn't get the impression that the staff even bothered to check with the kitchen. Overall, the staff were consistently unfriendly and made no effort whatsoever to attend to the guests. What was particularly annoying was that the schnitzel that never arrived was even included on the bill. After this experience, I unfortunately cannot recommend this restaurant.

A truly fantastic restaurant! The atmosphere inside is completely different from what you see outside. The welcome is warm, and the service is friendly and attentive. The food is delicious, beautifully presented, and highly recommended! This was our second visit, and it certainly won't be our last. Excellent, please keep up the great work!

We arrived on Wednesday evening without a reservation and were greeted very warmly, even though almost all the tables were reserved. The food was delicious 👍 and arrived at the same time for all five people. The staff was always very attentive 👍 Top-notch

The service was very inattentive; after over an hour, and even after the food had been served, no one asked for more drinks, even though all the glasses were empty. We waited over an hour for our food, even though the restaurant wasn't completely full. My daughter's fries were too salty, and unfortunately, my men's schnitzel was too salty; I left almost half on my plate. The fried potatoes were crispy, but unfortunately, they lacked salt, which was too much elsewhere. When we then asked for the bill and the server asked if everything was OK and we pointed out the issues mentioned above, there was neither an apology nor any consideration. Additional information: I noticed that the family at the next table also waited over an hour and only then received the soup and starter they had ordered. Unfortunately, never again!

We ate there this evening and had a reservation. Unfortunately, we had to wait over an hour for our food. Three other tables that arrived after us got their food before us. Unfortunately, the service wasn't very attentive, and the older lady with black hair wasn't very friendly either. I think that if you choose this job, you should also be a bit friendly. My daughter had fries with schnitzel, but unfortunately, they were very oversalted, so they were inedible, just like my husband's schnitzel. It's a shame, especially when you're waiting and hungry. After we told the waitress, all she said was "Aha!" and we paid the full price. Unbelievable, and there wasn't even an apology. Conclusion: Expensive order, waited too long, wasn't full, and left in a bad mood.

With the return of the salad buffet, nothing stands in the way of complete overindulgence. When schnitzel is served here, it's covered in breadcrumbs. Schnitzel: Neuwirtshaus. Easy to remember, right?

We celebrated our wedding in the ballroom of the Neuwirtshaus sports restaurant and were completely satisfied. The food was delicious and plentiful, the staff very friendly, and the entire process was seamless. Even the advance arrangements—whether with the restaurant itself or with the table tennis club regarding setup—were smooth and pleasant. Even with additional requests like renting chairs, communication was seamless. We particularly appreciated that the restaurant team organized many things independently. We felt very comfortable on our day and can highly recommend the Neuwirtshaus sports restaurant!

We'll be meeting here Saturday evening to see old colleagues after 30 years. We were all CCC members. I was there today, September 6, 2025, with nine former colleagues and had a lovely evening. The food was absolutely delicious.

We inquired about two places at short notice, and it worked out perfectly. Tesm was very friendly and prompt. Then we went to the schnitzel buffet. It was delicious, and we'd happily come back for the other dishes.

Highly recommended, but reserve in advance

We decided to visit the sports restaurant on a whim on Saturday afternoon. Even without a reservation and with our dog, we managed to get a seat. The service was generally friendly, but overall not particularly attentive; we had to wait several times to request our attention to place our orders. We felt a bit ignored, even though other tables in our area were being served and cleared. The food (fitness salad and farmer's schnitzel) was very tasty. The portions are generous; we took some leftovers to take home. The ambiance is rustic, appropriate for a sports restaurant. There is plenty of free parking available.

We visited here on Saturday evening and were lucky enough to get the last available table without a reservation. The food was exceptionally good and beautifully presented. Due to the large number of guests, we naturally had to wait a minute or two longer for service. The ambiance is quite pleasant, but it can get quite loud when it's fully booked. We'll definitely try it again when we're nearby!

You should go straight to Netto and get schnitzel, spaetzle, and potato salad from the refrigerated section. It's the same experience as here! Everything's ready-made and dry, please. Anyone who doesn't notice that should try a proper schnitzel restaurant! That's not what you call eating. They're too loud and unfriendly, too. I'd rather go to an Asian restaurant or Rewe.

I was there for a "business lunch" (a Thursday special). I was very surprised by the wide selection, usually something "Swabian," including some fish, and a small salad buffet. The service was very friendly and, considering the buffet's not always good manners (especially when schnitzel is included), surprisingly patient. Good manners among other guests have apparently become a matter of luck – well, not only is the restaurant not to blame for that, but they even make an effort to compensate: the food was replenished early and plentifully. Tip: don't arrive right at opening time at 12 p.m.; there's still something available at 1 p.m. There's plenty of parking, and the large outdoor tent is very pleasant. Overall, I'd definitely go back.

I was there on Saturday, August 2, 2025, and wanted to eat sour tripe. The waitress came and wanted to take my order - it wasn't available, even though it was on the menu. A note on the menu would have been helpful, since it hadn't been available for a while. Then I ordered a sausage salad with fried potatoes. They came with a soggy sausage salad without fried potatoes, but instead a small container of fries. When I asked, they said they were out, even though there were two meals at the table with fried potatoes at the same time. The waitress can't be blamed for this; she has to listen to the grumbling from us guests, even though the kitchen and management are responsible for it... The others enjoyed the food... The chef probably felt it was beneath him to serve a sausage salad like this... We were a group with a reservation...

Very disappointing. If you have a reservation, it's best to arrive before 8 p.m., as all the sauces were already gone, none of them were refilled, and we still paid for them just to eat side dishes with ketchup or mayo. The sauce that was left over tasted exactly like ready-made sauce, too salty. Just like the fries, much too salty. The schnitzels were mediocre, not fresh, and the breading was soggy. The spaetzle, unfortunately, was not fresh either. I was also not that impressed with the potato salad. Considering that they don't open until 5 p.m., I would have thought that everything was homemade/freshly made. Even the salad bar wasn't included, which would have been the least we could have asked for. We won't be coming back from so far away.

Unfortunately, a disappointing schnitzel experience on All You Can Eat Tuesday! We went to the Neuwirtshaus sports restaurant with our family today to try out the "All You Can Eat - Schnitzel Day." Unfortunately, our experience was rather disappointing. The schnitzels at the buffet were more reminiscent of cafeteria quality: They were already cold, the breading wasn't crispy, but rather soft and very greasy. The taste of the schnitzels was also completely unconvincing. The concept itself sounds good, but the execution unfortunately leaves a lot to be desired. We were looking forward to a pleasant evening, but were sadly disappointed. It's a shame; we would have preferred more freshness and quality. In addition, the service staff seemed noticeably stressed and overwhelmed. Unfortunately, friendliness was somewhat lacking, which further dampened the overall impression. Whether we'll be back is questionable.

We went there with our class for our graduation party—I hadn't heard of it before—and I can recommend it without reservation.

We were there for lunch yesterday with 20 people. The food was excellent, the portions were generous and very tasty. Furthermore, all the dishes came out of the kitchen very quickly one after the other. The service was very attentive, but the only drawback was that they were obviously stressed and, as a result, a bit unfriendly at times. Unfortunately, the drinks also took too long to arrive. Another server would have calmed things down. We will definitely be back and highly recommend the restaurant.

We had a company party here. The food arrived at the same time, which isn't easy with so many people. I had a potato and vegetable stir-fry, which I really enjoyed, and drinks were always delivered promptly. I'd love to come here with my family sometime. The salad bar was amazing, by the way; next time I'll get a large salad plate, if only for the homemade potato salad—Swabian, of course :-)

We spontaneously ate there during the week. Unfortunately, we didn't have a reservation, but they still managed to offer us a table – really great. It's definitely recommended to make a reservation in advance. The beer garden is about 5-10 minutes from the highway and about 20 minutes from Stuttgart, depending on traffic. There are plenty of free parking spaces on site. You definitely have to eat schnitzel, and my favorite is the one with mushrooms, topped with Emmental cheese, and served with a roast chili sauce. The 200g schnitzel with side dishes is perfectly adequate. It doesn't have to be 400g; I tried it and it was too much. Still, it's simply delicious. Payment is in cash or by card. Amex is unfortunately accepted. Visa and MasterCard are no problem. Definitely a must-try and a must-try if you're in Stuttgart.

I came back after many years and can only say, never again. The food, nine of us, was good. But everything went wrong for me... I ordered a little joe (kinderschnitzel) with baby potatoes because they had run out of croquettes, and it was a Saturday. It didn't say turkey, so I assumed it was pork. I got turkey schnitzel with fried potatoes. I said I wanted spaetzle with it. So I paid for two side dishes, even though spaetzle should have been included. Unfortunately, I only realized this afterwards. The vegetable and potato pan was also sold out by 6:30 p.m. When it came to paying, it was chaos. When the restaurant manager finally came, she was still very irritated because I wanted a bill so they could trace the payment. It looked like there were three larger groups there celebrating birthdays, etc. I thought everyone was completely overwhelmed. I would have thought some kind of concession would have been appropriate for me to serve the completely wrong meal. I'm definitely never going there again. In retrospect, I paid more for a child's portion than for a large adult portion.

You can mention that when ordering. The staff were completely overwhelmed and unfriendly. The ice cream was incomplete (e.g., no nuts on the nut ice cream) and had already run slightly when it was served. The bill wasn't quite right either. There was no apology or "I'm sorry." At these prices, the service needs to improve considerably. We were actually satisfied in the past, so we'll come back and hope it gets better.

Unfortunately, it's not what it used to be. Some portions are tiny, and some prices are completely unjustified. Also, beware of the Tunisian waiter, who likes to make mistakes. I recommend checking the remaining change and recalculating the total bill!

A rustic, beautiful, modern restaurant near a forest. The schnitzels there, especially the cordon bleu, are the best I've ever eaten! ❤️ You can tell the excellent quality, whether it's the meat or the potato salad. The service has always been impeccable, customer-oriented, and friendly. For schnitzel, it's the best near Ludwigsburg! We'll definitely be back.

The food was not great. I was with my family and we all chose a dish with a different sauce to end up with the same dish, that is to say a breaded escalope that takes up half the plate with fries and three small salad leaves with sauce on the side and a 45 minute wait even though there wasn't much in the restaurant. It was very expensive and to end up adding sauces to my bill that I hadn't taken. Very disappointed, fortunately who had an escalope to fill their stomachs.

If you love schnitzel, this is the place for you. Large schnitzels, perfectly prepared with great side dishes, and everything tastes super fresh. I've been here many times and have never been disappointed. I always enjoy coming back.

We ate schnitzel, unfortunately the schnitzel was almost raw inside. When we spoke to the waitress, they said I would bring a new one, unfortunately it only arrived after 30 minutes when the side dishes were cold or eaten. There was no apology or a schnapps on the house. We came regularly but now we are looking for another place for our round.

Unfortunately, everything went wrong in our service. First our food was forgotten, then the espresso, which I was supposed to get as an apology, and when we wanted to pay, it took several attempts. After more than three hours our children were through but we finally got out again. The food was very tasty.

Were here again on Easter Monday, not the first time. Everything is great here, the food is delicious, the atmosphere is cozy, the service is good. Today we had, among other things, the gourmet plate (fillet, cheese spaetzle, Maultaschen and salad) which was very tasty. Salad from the buffet is also good and there is also a very good potato salad here. Unfortunately, like everywhere else, everything can't be described as cheap in terms of price, but the quantities and quality are right. Come again.

Great food, just great. The restaurant is very nicely and rustically furnished, you are warmly welcomed at the entrance and escorted to your seat (we recommend making a reservation). The menu is designed in the form of a newspaper, it is clearly written, and vegetarians will also get their money's worth. I had a starter. What I think is great is that the service waits until you have finished the starter, then after a short break the main course comes. The food was super tasty, very fresh, you can help yourself to your meal at the salad buffet (small but very nice). I had the Neuwirtshaus Pfännle, the portion was more than sufficient, the handmade spaetzle was perfect. I recommend taking a Tupperbox with you :)...if not, the Resurante has something to pack (costs €1.50) Even if you're already full to the rafters, dessert is always possible. I had the apple rings, with cinnamon and sugar, cream and a scoop of vanilla ice cream, perfect!! I already know that I will come back and to everyone who works there, keep it up (thumbs up)

I visited the restaurant with some colleagues for a beer and lunch after work. I had a 200g schnitzel with French fries and pepper sauce, which was really good. If you are very hungry, I would recommend the 400g schnitzel or maybe the bigger with 1000g meat! The service was friendly and kind. Reservation is recommended if you want to dine in at weekends

Unfortunately, we were disappointed with our visit to the sports restaurant! On the one hand, the ladies are not particularly friendly and you didn't feel welcome. Order was taken incorrectly and lady seemed to be either new or clueless about nothing. She didn't know how big the schnitzels were or what a particular dish was all about... The sauce was hot even though there was nothing about it on the menu (I didn't ask but I didn't know that the sauce was hot..) But I got a different sauce, but unfortunately the schnitzel was already cold by then... The food was ok, a bit salty.. The salad buffet was really tasty! My 9 month old daughter liked it and her place looked that way and as we left I heard the rancid waitress say to her colleague “I will now renovate table 12” I said thank you when she came with the dustpan and then you turn your back and then you vomit all over you... It's a real shame...

There were seven of us there for dinner. When it was too cold for us in the tent, they looked for a table inside for us. Everyone was very friendly and the food was very good value for money. I can definitely recommend it, especially on schnitzel day for those who like to eat schnitzel. The cordon bleu and cheese spaetzle were also very tasty.

All U can ear schnitzel buffet is okay. Fries are kept warm for a while (= soggy). Schnitzels were out in the meantime. But for the price it's okay.
