Very cute place in a beautiful corner.

Today was my first time at Paulaner. The food is relatively good, but a bit overpriced. The ambiance and the seating, especially outside, are very nice. Waitress Polina was especially good, and she took excellent care of us. We'll definitely be back soon.

Very busy restaurant, I've been there before. The seating was a bit cramped but otherwise quite good. The presentation of the cheese spaetzle was top-notch, I haven't seen anything like it anywhere else and it looked very promising - which is why I was so disappointed. Very creamy, you couldn't taste the cheese at all. We had to ask for salt several times. It's a real shame. The salad was excellent, exactly as expected. The lentils, however, were prepared very unusually and were very tomato-heavy. Not necessarily bad, but you'd expect something different from a lentil and spaetzle dish... My highlight was definitely the Kaiserschmarren, which I remembered very well from my last visit. Very fluffy, not too sweet. A dream. A friend said it tasted a lot like egg, which I honestly had to admit. But it was still very good. The portions are very generous, and reasonable for the price. Our waiter, Alex, is simply made for this job. He was VERY friendly, accommodating and always made sure we didn't lack anything.

We often go there and always eat well.

The food was unreasonably and unfairly overpriced. The service was completely unfriendly and unmotivated. They were completely overwhelmed because they were completely understaffed. Not recommended. Not again.

For the second year in a row, we're celebrating our company's annual celebration at the Paulaner restaurant on the old Postplatz, and quite honestly, we don't regret it one bit. The staff is extremely friendly and competent, and you immediately feel at home both inside and outside. The food is always fresh, lovingly prepared, and delicious. One small request would be a bit more flexibility with vegan and vegetarian dishes, but that's really the only criticism. For our group of around 30 people, everything was just perfect here: organization, atmosphere, service, and quality. Huge respect to the entire team; we'd love to come back!

The best Kaiserschmarrn in southern Germany!

The food is okay, but the prices are ridiculously high. They must have really increased the price considerably. The sausage salad here costs €16. The onion roast beef costs €38. There are definitely cheaper alternatives in Stuttgart where the food is also tasty. We waited an extra 15 minutes for our bread with our sausage salad on a Tuesday evening. When we asked if we could have some more bread, the answer was: "Eat what we have first." So all in all, not a great experience. The icing on the cake comes at the end. After we didn't tip generously, the waiter said: "Then you'd better not tip, I'll tip out of my pocket." If it were possible, the service would not be worth a star.

I was a little hesitant about eating Bavarian food in Stuttgart at first, but Paulaner quickly won me over. The food was excellent, the staff attentive, the service fast, and the value for money was OK. We'll definitely be back.

Super fast service! Very friendly! I recommend it for a break after sightseeing.

I can not recommend. I have been here multiple times with similarly rude service. Most recently I went alone and sat in the Biergarten. My waitress then came over and asked if I was alone, to which she said I should not take such a table alone, and proceeded to ignore me the whole time. I will not be going back

Very nice/famous restaurant in Stuttgart with goood fooood and beer

Terrible customer service. It took almost 15 minutes from the time we arrived until we ordered. Our server banned us from playing cards at the table. Beers were too expensive. I would recommend taking your customers to another establishment.

A very nice and atmospheric place! The food and beer (various local ones) are excellent and taste very good. Despite its location (tourist center) the bill is quite modest, it was unexpected. The hall has old fashioned content. Friendly staff. You can pay both by card and in cash. Smoking is allowed in the hall, but there is a non-smoking area on the second floor. We were very satisfied, we will come back again if possible. Thanks!

First time here, it did take a little while to be seated as was quite busy. We were told to wait out by front table and someone will be over, I thought the man was a bit abrupt, but we waited. The woman who served us was a bit cold towards us to start of with, then was nice and friendly. We both enjoyed our food and drinks apart from my side salad which was swimming in some sort of watery vinegarette, that I left but the rest of food was good. Nice ambience on a lovely warm day on 2nd May. I do recommend this place

The restaurant is designed for mass processing. It starts as soon as you arrive: people frantically look at how to accommodate the customer and then you are seated at a strange table without asking questions (tables for four, no larger sets!). After you get the menu, it really can't be quick enough to take your order. At least the ladies here still try to be friendly. But then the service ends! The sauerbraten was ok. The meal would have been pleasant if you hadn't had to ask the extremely unfriendly waiter three times for the ketchup you ordered for the schnitzel with fries. He then came after the fourth request from another waitress when the food was almost empty. Conclusion: It's best to go somewhere else, you don't have to go through mass processing. You definitely don't miss anything.

Unable to understand a simple order, they mock the customer who provides simple instructions and asks for information on the ingredients of their cocktails. They should close immediately, in advanced countries those who administer food and drinks must be minimally informed about allergens

The food was okay, tasted good and portions were appropriate. Unfortunately the service was disappointing. I had already asked for ketchup with my fries when I ordered, but it wasn't brought at first. Even after asking three times, I only received it when I was almost finished eating. Unfortunately, that spoiled the overall impression.

Evite este lugar si es una familia con niños pequeños y/o bebés. Todo empezó mal cuando el primer camarero intentó darnos una mala mesa en la terraza, con el pretexto de que la trona le cerraría el paso. Esto no tiene sentido porque la trona solo ocuparía el espacio de una silla normal y la mitad de las mesas estarían vacías. Luego elegimos quedarnos en el interior y tomamos una mesa rodeados de nadie más, para estar seguros de que no molestaríamos a la gente. Antes de que pudiéramos pedir la comida, el gerente del lugar nos pidió que cambiáramos de mesa porque estaba llegando un grupo grande. No nos importó, pero eso ya es algo que encuentro inaceptable. Una vez que sientas al cliente en una mesa no puedes moverlo. O si lo haces entonces lo compensas con un servicio irreprochable e idealmente un gesto. Además de eso, sugirieron una mesa al lado de la cocina y sin ninguna ventana. Pedimos tener una mesa en un espacio grande que todavía estaba ocupado cuando llegamos y nos dijeron que no, que tampoco lo entenderé nunca. ¿Pones a una familia con un bebé y un niño pequeño en la incomodidad de mover mesas pero luego eres inflexible porque tienes tus reglas internas? Terminamos apretándonos en una mesa más pequeña. No dije nada pero esperaba un gesto comercial. -Nada. Cuando confronté tranquilamente al gerente sobre esto, desestimó mis preocupaciones con un monólogo autocomplaciente y condescendiente sobre cómo supuestamente nos preguntó "educadamente". Lo siento, pero no es suficiente. Todo el mundo era grosero y actuando como si nos hicieran un favor excepto por el chef ucraniano y un joven camarero esloveno. Evita este lugar. Stuttgart tiene muchos lugares excelentes y gente más agradable que contribuirá a un recuerdo feliz. La mía se vio empañada por esta total falta de empatía y mal servicio.

The food was generally okay, although my Jägerschnitzel was overdone. However, the portion sizes had no relation to the price: the pork schnitzel was on the same price level as a veal schnitzel elsewhere.

One of the coziest and most traditional restaurants in Stuttgart and the surrounding area. Maja has been waiting there for ages with so much passion, a dream! And the dishes are what you would imagine traditional cuisine to be. We are always happy to come to you, dear Paulaner team.

Very disappointing visit - unfriendly waiter We were at the Paulaner Beer Garden in Stuttgart on April 11th, 2025 at 12:45 p.m. and were really looking forward to a nice lunch. Unfortunately we were completely offended: the waiter was extremely unfriendly and disrespectful. When we spoke to us, sentences like “shut up” and “don’t interfere” were actually used – a tone that is in no way acceptable, especially not in service. We were speechless and didn't feel welcome at all as guests. The fact that something like this is possible in a renowned beer garden is really disappointing. It's a shame, we definitely won't be coming back - and unfortunately we can't recommend this place after this experience.

I ordered a Swiss sausage salad but it came without cheese. We complained about this, whereupon a waiter came and poured cheese onto our sausage salad without comment. But love goes out

The food is very tasty. But it could still be a little cheaper. You will receive care fairly quickly and there is hardly any waiting time.

The atmosphere and food were nice, but the one of the waiter was reflecting the German coldness too much, he was very rude and tired of their jobs.

We came spontaneously without a reservation with a group of nine people and were accommodated in a separate room on the upper floor. We really liked the atmosphere there. The food was absolutely excellent – ​​tasted great and beautifully prepared. A special highlight, however, was our host Alex: with his open, authentic manner and his infectious good mood, he really enriched our evening. Thank you for this thoroughly enjoyable evening – we will definitely be back!

Food was nice and there is a separate place for smokers.

A bar very close to the Stadmitte stop. It has a thematic structure and its interior design has a historical texture. The tastes are very good, the interest and interest are high. There are both indoor and outdoor seating options. A special thank you to our Turkish brother who helped us and gave us the opportunity to charge our phone.

The chamorro is perfect: crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. The salads are fresh and the drinks are the same. The attention from the waitresses was adequate. An excellent place to eat classic German food. We will be back soon!

It's unbelievable how good the food can taste. We were served very quickly even though there were a lot of guests and the terrace there that day. The porters are really big and everyone who is hungry will be fed. We particularly enjoyed the pork knuckle but the rest was also excellent. Always my pleasure. Keep it up 👍

The Weinerschnitzel was amazing. Waiter suggested from the pork, and with gravy. Then subbing the pommes frites with spatzle. It was incredible and I highly recommend

Simply real Swabian cuisine, great value for money!

Was there for the first time with friends on Saturday. I had the Swabian roast beef. Great price, but great quality. It's been a long time since I've had such a good roast roast. I was thrilled.

There were three of us, very nice reception, very polite service. Had the onion roast - it was very good, only the cooking level wasn't quite right, but after it was complained about, a perfect onion roast came a short time later - so I can only recommend it.

EXTREMELY RUDE!!!! I can't explain it because we as a family have eaten at your place many times, but this time I have to write something about it. We ate as a group of 9 and didn't even ask for the menu because we always order the same thing. There are always 4 (separate, mind you) portions of Kaiserschmarn and corresponding drinks, nothing too complicated. When we placed our order, we were immediately interrupted and asked to slow down because the gentleman wouldn't come with us. After we placed our order, the waitress took the serious step of asking us to share the food and order fewer portions. This with the words "I make the rules here and you can also share - that's the kitchen's decision and we should discuss it with them if necessary." We had to reluctantly agree, otherwise we wouldn't have been served and instead of 4 portions we supposedly got 2 "large" ones, which were the same size as a conventional portion. How can one refuse an order from a group of 9 people to a completely reasonable extent? I don't understand such cheeky and embarrassing behavior. I hope that this review will be passed on to the male waitress who "served" us on February 2, 2025 at around 6 p.m. Anyone who is unable to accept an order without complaining to the paying customers does not understand the principle of a restaurant... To top it all off, we are charged for a whole FOUR portions!!! There was no obvious reason to serve us in this way because we pay a very appropriate and very generous tip every time and thus also give the necessary appreciation to the staff who are working that day. This (male) waiter has trampled on our respect for this gastronomy. We will never eat here again and are glad that we will never have to see this person again, either professionally or privately. Anyone who really enjoys home-style, Swabian and Bavarian cuisine will find complete satisfaction here. Large portions, everything tasted very good, the service was very quick, friendly and warm. The ambience isn't bad, but it was quite loud and the change of guests caused a bit of unrest. The ground floor is reserved for smokers. The lentils with spaetzle, strings and pork belly were very tasty. Upon request there was vinegar (and the obligatory mustard for me). Unfortunately I didn't take a photo of it because the portion was very large for a dish from the lunch menu.

Went there today for a lunch menu. Normally it was always very good. Today's lunch special for EUR 13.90. The food tasted excellent. Only a single half-sized dumpling came with a few mushrooms. I think it would be too little or just enough as a side dish. Apparently the portion sizes have been adjusted + the price. My companion had the zander. Normally there are always 2 fillets. Today 1 fillet in 2 halves with half a potato. I don't go there anymore because I want to be at least halfway full. The children's plates are larger. At least 1 star for the food is there because it was delicious.

The prices of the lunch specials have been increased. At the same time, the portion has recently been reduced to half the size. In the past there were always 2 dumplings or 2 fillets, now there is only one dumpling and 2 half fillets. Unfortunately, as a woman I didn't get full, and for men it's even more difficult to get full. It's a shame, the service is actually very good. I probably won't come back any time soon.

I ate the knuckle and it was simply incredibly tasty! It was perfectly cooked and super crispy. Unfortunately, my friend wasn't that impressed with his schnitzel. The service seemed very stressed, but people were also coming and going every minute.
