Wonderful place, very friendly staff and great food.

Very nice and characteristic place in the heart of Stuttgart. We ordered some typical German dishes: not very light but very good! Wide choice of beers, clearly Paulaner, the amber beer is excellent.

When we visited at the beginning of December 24, our reservation was not fulfilled. Another table could be made available quickly. But we found sentences from the head waiter such as "We don't need to discuss the omission..." to be unfriendly and aloof. Customer friendliness is different. The sour tripe did not have the taste quality of previous visits. A roast pork can definitely have some fat. However, this consisted almost entirely of fat. The waiters' sayings were at the level of a third-rate solo entertainer. Hopefully the level of the past can be reached again.

Today the goulash stew on the lunch menu was from a can. An impudence. Next time I can make it hot myself in the microwave. Nobody can tell me that it was freshly prepared. Otherwise we had a very tasty meal here. I think it really depends on what you order.

Prices are excessive, service is only partially friendly, but the atmosphere is cozy. Unfortunately there is a smoking bar downstairs, which is not visible from the outside at the entrance and you therefore have to go through the smoking area first. Women's toilet cramped & not maintained. Food was okay, but not a highlight.

A beautiful atmosphere. The staff incredibly attentive and very friendly. The selection of dishes is huge. The food and drinks came quickly. Were there yesterday with 14 people. The restaurant was fully booked until closing and still had great service! All the food we consumed was delicious!! We'll be back.

We had a fantastic evening at Paulaner in Stuttgart! The waiters were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always attentive and with a smile. As expected, the beer was first class, fresh and super tasty. A special highlight was that the waiter congratulated a friend of ours on his birthday and even bought a round of fruit schnapps. This personal service rounded off the evening perfectly. All in all: top service, great atmosphere, and we would be happy to come back any time. Absolutely recommended!

5 Personen warten 1,5 Stunden auf die Hauptspeise, schuld war eine Vorspeise! Mehrere Reklamationen blieben erfolglos, war ja die Suppe schuld. Mehrmals wurde versichert, dass die Küche unsere Gerichte zubereitet, schlichtweg die Unwahrheit. Der stellvertretende Restaurantleider war ebenso wie der Restaurantleiter selber komplett überfordert. Warum wurde der Fehler nicht einfach zugegeben? Hätte uns eher besänftigt als die ständigen Schuldzuweisungen. Zum Schluss war dann die Küche schuld. Schade, die Speisen waren gut und der Service nett. Aber nie mehr wieder, auf den Arm nehmen können wir uns selber.

Homely atmosphere and great service. Roast pork was very tasty. Were there before the VfB game to warm up.

Nearly everything is made in-house. Which i find to be exceptional considering the sheer volume they go thru. Service is competent, friendly and quick.

with the worst schnitzel I've ever had. We had dinner with six people. I tried a few things and the taste was really disappointing. I definitely can't recommend it

Siamo stati per cena, all’ingresso si entra in un area per soli fumatori e ciò non è molto gradevole come accoglienza. Veniamo fatti accomodare al piano superiore dove i tavoli con divanetti sono molto scomodi e appena sufficienti per 2 ma i divani per 4 persone. I tavoli sono “sporchi” puliti in superficie ma molto appiccicosi. Il personale è molto schivo e a fatica esprimono un sorriso, comunque servono attentamente le domande. Il cibo tipico ben preparato, buona la birra (almeno questo salva la sufficienza)

Yesterday as soon as we entered the restaurant we were warmly welcomed by the waiter of American origin who was very kind in advising us what to order. We couldn't have made a better choice, exquisite dishes and impeccable service. We'll be back

Water is much more expensive than beer: 5,30 € for a 0.75 l of mineral water??!! No comment and drink beer!

Food actually delicious. Service unfortunately catastrophe. First we wanted to take the menus that were right next to our table and were told that we “shouldn’t touch everything”. Afterwards, someone at our table orders a Kaiserschmarn. He is not asked whether with or without alcohol. After 2 minutes he noticed that he wasn't asked and tells the waitress that he would like it without it. He then has to listen to a lecture about how people have to throw away food because of him and he shouldn't act like that and just pick the raisins. Although the menu says “with or without rum”. She rambles on about “standard” and becomes mushy. Then why is it on the menu like that? Afterwards she came back to us to tell us that her colleague had also confirmed that the guest was to blame and that she had done everything right. I thought I wasn't hearing properly. 😂 I've really never experienced anything like that. When I treat the guest like that, I don't care about the quality of the food. The job is missed. I would like to give negative stars.

Went there for dinner on November 1st, 2024 and it was great! Food (see picture), service and ambience all very, very good. Can only be recommended. We'll be back ;-)

All Saints Day, November 1st, 2024, 10:05 p.m.: The two of us were initially referred to a table of 4 because the table we had chosen was 5 with a comfortable corner seat was supposedly reserved for a larger group - at 10 p.m. and without a reserved sign? - In addition, the restaurant was only at most 30% occupied, otherwise we would have chosen a smaller table anyway! But it didn't matter anymore because we left straight away: We had decided on the Paulaner because we wanted to have a little something to eat and there is usually at least the "small menu" there from 10 p.m. - but not on one Holiday 😡! Stuttgart is rightly the “smallest village in Germany”!!!

Food OK, but very small portions (I knowingly asked for an oversized portion and still). Went to eat somewhere else afterwards 🤷🏼‍♂️.

I loved this place. You feel like you've been transported back 20 years. But that's over now. If I pay €5.70 for a spritzer the fun stops. The restaurant used to be busy, but that is no longer the case. Who is surprised at these prices?

Weiss wurst was quite good. Even though the smoking area is separated, 2nd floor was stinky, which was a bad point.

The place is quite good, and well located. The price is expensive, especially the water. The downstairs can be smoked inside, surreal in 2024.

El mejor nudillo de cerdo que había probado en Stuttgart, pero el equipo de servicio es bastante grosero. Tal vez debido a la alta demanda. Pude sentir un poco de comportamiento racista entre la tripulación también. Pero eso no afectó mi amor hacia la comida ofrecida. Sirven porciones más grandes de nudillo de cerdo también. Precio un poco más alto que el de otros, pero definitivamente vale la pena el precio. Sin embargo, hay una desventaja importante de este restaurante, que es demasiado cálido, no hay ventilación y se permite fumar en el interior. No se recomienda para familias con niños pequeños.

The only one, it's a shame I can point out it's on the bill, we ordered a platter which the menu said was for two at a cost of 34 euros per person, we were seven people and we ordered 3 (x 2) to eat for seven people... ....they demanded payment for seven people on the account.

Superior traditional German food and beer. Professional servers. Most speak English. Service is quick even when busy. Their Schweinshaxe was tender on the inside and crispy on the outside. The venison was tender and flavorful. Everyone at the table enjoyed the food. The Paulaner festbier and Hefeweizen is among the best in Germany. It gets a little loud inside, but that indicates it’s festive atmosphere.

The food was a little too salty but the service was great

I literally only ate here once on my birthday in 2019 and I still think about this place all the time. No other restaurant in Stuttgart could possibly compare… this food was absolutely amazing. The nödel will change your life. Very kind waiter who waited me and recommended the most delicious dessert ever.

We visited Paulaner in Stuttgart twice. The service was attentive. On the first day, we ordered schnitzel with fries and, on the second, sausages with sauerkraut; both were good. We also had some beers. If you're not hungry, I recommend ordering a plate of schnitzel to share, with a charge of R$3.00 for sharing the dish.

Our family of four (one with a nut allergy) came on a busy Saturday night, were immediately sat, and had FANTASTIC service from Jule. She got us English menus and understood our concerns about any nuts on the menu. Checked with the kitchen on what oil was used to cook fries etc. Drinks came out lightning fast, food not much further behind. We had the Hausgemachte Maultaschen, Weiner Schnitzel (chicken), and a side of bread. Both main dishes were excellent. The bread seemed a little dry but it didn’t impact our view of the restaurant. We would gladly come back.

If you are looking for a typical restaurant with a nice terrace in Stuttgart, this is the place! The portions are generous, with an à la carte choice 😊

We had the Jaeger Schnitzel and a draft beer. Our first meal in Germany. The mushrooms were fresh and the pork perfectly pounded. We are coming back for the atmosphere and another Paulaner tomorrow. The food came out very quickly. I love a genuine bar atmosphere where the beers are poured with the perfect head.

I was very satisfied with the food. The potato salad was to die for! Price-performance is right for Stuttgart. Staff was very friendly and on the ball.

Nice food but the kaiserschmarrn was denser than it should be and was not caramelized. The server was pushy, rushed us and hinted for tips when it was time to pay but ensured that our drinks were full. The setting is great for the summertime and watching people go by.

In the center of Stuttgart, typical foods and generous portions. Service so-so, we had to call the waiters several times before being served.

-Kaiserschmarrn- Super tasty and fresh, hence the 20-25 minute wait. It's on the menu itself. The Kaiserschmarrn itself was fluffy and baked on almond slices. These give the dessert a unique crunch. It tasted interesting but it didn't have to be. Service was great, even though all the tables were occupied, a place was organized for us.

We have eaten at the Paulaner at the old Posthof several times. Unfortunately, the service wasn't that good the last two visits/you could clearly see how overwhelmed the staff were and the mood was transferred to the guest. Food was served lukewarm - I also found the portions too small for the price!

Uno dei pranzi più rilassanti fatti qui, ci siamo seduti all’esterno nelle vicinanze della fontana all’ombra degli alberi. Cibo tipico buonissimo e camerieri molto disponibili. Uno dei pochi posti dove non ci siamo sentiti “raggirati” a Stoccarda. Super consigliato!

The prices quoted do not correspond in any way to the quality served. I had a Wiener Schnitzel for €30 and my wife had bread dumplings with mushroom sauce. Better to eat somewhere else.

An oasis in the pedestrian zone with a cozy, hearty atmosphere. Sitting outside in the heat was awesome. The service was funny and friendly, the food was very good. Bavarian cuisine with a Swabian twist. The Kaiserschmarrn was amazing and super good.

So all in all the visit was pretty good... the food was okay but to be honest, nothing too special. Our waitress was very nice and helpful!
