A proper brewery, generous portions, good beer and hearty, good food, would gladly come again.

We were absolutely delighted with the food. The two of us started with a Maultaschen soup, which, in our opinion, couldn't have been better. This was followed by a mixed salad, which was also beautifully presented, and for our main course, the Swabian platter. Everything was truly delicious, and you definitely won't leave this restaurant hungry.

We have visited many Paulaner restaurants in various cities in Germany. We have always been very satisfied. So we went to the Paulaner in Stuttgart with great enthusiasm and anticipation. We drove several kilometers to get there, but we thought it was worth it. While there was a sign at the entrance that smoking was prohibited, many people were smoking inside and at several tables. Because we do not want to put our health at risk, nor eat/drink while others are smoking next to us, nor have our clothes smell of smoke afterwards, we simply left disappointed.

The service was great, but the food wasn't very tasty, and there was a closed-off area inside the restaurant just for smokers, which made the smell unpleasant for non-smokers. The apple pie is delicious! The portions are very generous.

Authentic restaurant in traditional Bavarian style. The menu is extensive and offers the usual dishes you'd expect from a Bavarian inn or brewery. We enjoyed our meal and had a pleasant evening, although there's certainly room for improvement. For example, the rustic dining room on the ground floor also serves as a smoking area, which we think is unnecessary these days. The regular non-smoking area is located upstairs. The spacious outdoor area, like a beer garden, is definitely a plus when the weather is warm. Prices range from reasonable to slightly overpriced, depending on the dish. If you're looking for a taste of Bavarian flair in downtown Stuttgart, this is the place to go.

I wanted to try traditional German food, so I went to this place. The service was good and the food was... a little pricey, but the coleslaw that came with the main dish was so delicious that I ordered more.

A lovely, traditional restaurant on two levels. The entrance to the smoking area is on the ground floor, while the non-smoking area is on the first floor. Overall, there's no smell of smoke at all. Good food and friendly staff.

We've been to Paulaner several times now, and the quality is consistently excellent every time. Of course, the prices are correspondingly high, but the quality is always outstanding. The Zwiebelrostbraten (onion roast beef) is simply delicious. Everything tastes great: the gravy, the meat, the onions, the Spätzle (German egg noodles), the fried potatoes, and the salad. I can also recommend the Swabian Rostbraten. The portion is very large; I couldn't finish it, but of course, they packed it up for me. The staff is always incredibly friendly, cheerful, and attentive, even when it's busy. Highly recommended!

Its best place to taste authentic Bavarian menus like pork knuckle and Bratwurst sausage. Service are excellent, but inside feel a little bit old. Food was amazingly delicious. A bit pricey, so prepare your wallet but its worth it with the meal size and taste

I had lunch here with my colleague. A traditional restaurant with friendly staff wearing traditional dress. Spacious indoor and outdoor dining areas. The food and beer were fabulous; we were very satisfied. An experience we absolutely must repeat.

Great place! The location is really lovely and authentic. The meal was delicious and the portions were generous. The servers were incredibly friendly; I even left with a small bouquet of flowers! Plus, the restaurant was very quiet with few customers when we went on a Sunday evening. I highly recommend it!!

There's so much smoking that you probably can't even taste whether you're eating schnitzel or bratwurst... Turn around immediately!

A very nice and authentic restaurant. For anyone visiting Stuttgart or Germany as a tourist, I think Paulaner is a great recommendation. Here, you can enjoy Swabian cuisine, as well as the typical classics that tourists want to get to know, at a truly high level. From the atmosphere itself to the clothing of the employees, you'll experience the full "German" experience. And for those who think this is just a tourist spot, as a native Stuttgarter, I can say that we Stuttgarters also enjoy eating here (although I can't speak for everyone, of course).

Disastrous and definitely not recommended! (Customer requests are not respected here.) I wanted to eat at the restaurant in question today, got a table, and placed our order. Then, suddenly, another waiter came and wanted to seat two complete strangers at our table. When I asked him not to, because I didn't want to, he said there was no other way. However, the other two people had their own tables before he wanted to move them. We didn't want to sit at a table with two complete strangers, so we decided to cancel our order and leave the restaurant. A member of staff then said, "If you want to leave, then just leave." Now that's a completely different story about customer service... I will never recommend this restaurant and will never visit it again.

Hi, we went to this location during Octoberfest and it was quite busy. All the tables were reserved but they got us in and we were able to enjoy our meal with plenty of time to spare. The food was delicious. I would say a little better than average and with the amount of people inside the food came out fast. I would recommend this location for dinner! They also have an outside area for those nice days!

Rude, very rude staff. If you're here alone for work or pleasure and want to eat alone, avoid this place. The tables were empty, and according to the waiter, I was forced to sit sixth in a group of five. I don't understand why it was 1:15 PM, a bit late for the peak lunchtime for locals. He treated me rudely. It's a shame because the food is good, but you have to learn to treat people who are alone well, too. I've been there several times with colleagues. Today, however, is my last, and I strongly advise against it.

Bavarian food in Stuttgart. The food and drink are luxurious. A word of advice: if there are local veterans eating inside, the food is good. And that's the case here.

Went there for dinner again today. We received a friendly welcome and were seated right away, and the waitress even brought us a high chair for our little boy. The food was great (zucchini and tomato piccata with basil tagliatelle). The waitress offered us a small leaf salad. There was also a "Raider's Plate" for our little boy. The bill was around €41 (reasonable prices). The waitress was super attentive and very friendly. I'd love to come back. Keep up the good work 👍

We received a very warm welcome! The food is highly recommended – we had the hunter's schnitzel! The wonderful host (Janni) really impressed us! We'll definitely be back!

Very typical, tasty food, big portions!

The service was absolutely outrageous. Rude, inattentive, and unfriendly. We felt very uncomfortable. A drink was completely forgotten and never arrived. There are QR codes with the menu on the tables, which we then checked. The waiter then pointed out that it wasn't up to date. He then threw us ONE physical menu for four people. The food was okay. The rump steak was cooked well. The lentils with spaetzle had a lot of tomato, which had nothing to do with the traditional dish. The value for money was not appropriate. The ambiance has potential, but when it got dark, we sat in the dark for at least 30 minutes until the lights finally came on. We won't be coming back.

Visiting a friend in Stuttgart. I recommend... Zwiebel rostbraten... potato salad but the vegetable salad is great too... outdoor seating is also possible. Great atmosphere.

Nice place with a large terrace. We were able to sit down without a reservation for a drink and a meal. The prices are a little high for meals, but that's to be expected when you go to a place like this.

A restaurant with really nice seating under trees around a fountain. We've eaten there countless times. What we noticed was that the roast pork used to have crispy rind, but now it's two slices of pork neck. But it tasted good, as always. Unfortunately, the prices there have gotten out of hand. A roast beef for 38 euros is definitely too expensive. I feel like the prices there are now up to 8 euros higher than those of the competition. If they reconsider and charge fairer prices again, we'll be happy to come back. There are other similar restaurants in Stuttgart that are much more affordable, and they also have good quality and staff costs.

Wine spritzer tastes like from a gas station, roast pork without a crust (if you come from Bavaria you know) overpriced, cheeky from start to finish, would give less stars but the house is nice

I was here for the first time and really liked it. The pork knuckle was served almost immediately. Incredibly delicious! The service was excellent, everyone was very attentive and periodically came up to ask if everything was okay with us😊

A wonderful spot in the heart of Stuttgart, just a short walk from the main street, perfect for taking a breather and enjoying a beer. We tried the wheat beer and the Helles style, and were very pleased. We didn’t have the chance to try the food, but the plates served to the neighboring tables looked very appetizing.

It's located in the heart of Stuttgart. The draft beers were delicious, and we drank the Hefe Weissbier (a flavored wheat beer). I didn't get a chance to eat. The view was lovely. The staff was attentive.

We ordered a pork knuckle and a Jägerschnitzel, both very good, with generous portions (we couldn't finish the knuckle). The waiters were always helpful and friendly (they speak little English), and the service was quick. Highly recommended!

A very beautiful location with large trees and a fountain outside. During our visit, we sat under the large trees, right by the fountain. The menu, of course, consists almost exclusively of Bavarian dishes at reasonable prices. The service was friendly and courteous. All of the dishes we ordered were excellent in both taste and quantity. This is what a restaurant should be like! We're already planning another visit on our next visit to Stuttgart.

We were a group of 9 people, they had free seats and they complained about seating both inside and outside. They treated us poorly, we asked them and they didn't even answer us.

The ambiance itself was nice, but it was just incredibly crowded, which is what you'd expect from a Paulaner beer garden. Conditions were a bit overwhelming due to the large number of customers, but our food still arrived very quickly. We ordered a Paulaner platter for two people, and it was a lot. The food itself was delicious, but a little reminder of the price, which is €35 per person, would have been helpful! Otherwise, a regular platter would have been enough for two.

In the heart of street guard this gem sits as a local favorite. It’s a great spot to enjoy a cold beer and some delicious Bavarian food while you people watch the busy streets. Everything was amazing from start to finish. The beer. The food. The dessert. The service. The weather and the atmosphere. Try not to get too carried away as there’s plenty more for street guard to show. Highly recommend any of the soups. The apple strudel is a must and the draft beer. They also have plenty of nonalcoholic options.

I regularly come to Paulaner for lunch. The lunch menu is varied and very tasty. I've never been disappointed and can wholeheartedly recommend Paulaner.

Not a tourist trap, although it may seem like it from afar. The food was delicious and decently priced. The Paulaner beer on tap was perfect. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was just as you would imagine a beer garden in a large city would be. The seats inside are also nice and more readily available.

On a bright, sunny summer day, we were already moving on when Maja, with a wave of her hand, showed us a table that had just become available, 20 meters away. We were asked every 10 minutes if everything was okay. The table service was fantastic. The cuisine was regional and excellent. In the service desert of Germany, this is a small island of bliss. Restaurant service with joy and friendliness. Even after work, in our casual clothes, we were still wished a nice weekend. We would be happy to come back anytime and would recommend this restaurant service to everyone.

The only negative thing we noticed was the man who ran the place. The way he spoke to his colleagues and staff in the presence of guests was, in my opinion, not acceptable. He also seemed drunk (?). We'd be happy to come back and hope for a perhaps more relaxed atmosphere.
