Had white sausage, unfortunately pretzel wasn't crispy, tasted like yesterday. Service only focused on sales, no response to my complaint. It used to be better...

We had the Jaeger Schnitzel and a draft beer. Our first meal in Germany. The mushrooms were fresh and the pork perfectly pounded. We are coming back for the atmosphere and another Paulaner tomorrow. The food came out very quickly. I love a genuine bar atmosphere where the beers are poured with the perfect head.

I was very satisfied with the food. The potato salad was to die for! Price-performance is right for Stuttgart. Staff was very friendly and on the ball.

Nice food but the kaiserschmarrn was denser than it should be and was not caramelized. The server was pushy, rushed us and hinted for tips when it was time to pay but ensured that our drinks were full. The setting is great for the summertime and watching people go by.

In the center of Stuttgart, typical foods and generous portions. Service so-so, we had to call the waiters several times before being served.

The 0.5 liter beer could have been fuller!

Only good things to say for me and my food but my son didn’t love his snitzel, said it seemed freezer burnt. Not sure what that’s about. His dad said the same thing. Whomp whomp.

best Swabian cuisine. excellent lunch menu.

-Kaiserschmarrn- Super tasty and fresh, hence the 20-25 minute wait. It's on the menu itself. The Kaiserschmarrn itself was fluffy and baked on almond slices. These give the dessert a unique crunch. It tasted interesting but it didn't have to be. Service was great, even though all the tables were occupied, a place was organized for us.

We have eaten at the Paulaner at the old Posthof several times. Unfortunately, the service wasn't that good the last two visits/you could clearly see how overwhelmed the staff were and the mood was transferred to the guest. Food was served lukewarm - I also found the portions too small for the price!

The prices quoted do not correspond in any way to the quality served. I had a Wiener Schnitzel for €30 and my wife had bread dumplings with mushroom sauce. Better to eat somewhere else.

An oasis in the pedestrian zone with a cozy, hearty atmosphere. Sitting outside in the heat was awesome. The service was funny and friendly, the food was very good. Bavarian cuisine with a Swabian twist. The Kaiserschmarrn was amazing and super good.

So all in all the visit was pretty good... the food was okay but to be honest, nothing too special. Our waitress was very nice and helpful!

Everything was perfect as we expected! The only thing is that the prices of the dishes are clearly for tourists!!!

Unfortunately, the food was served in very poor quality. We wanted to eat a traditional schnitzel...we got almost mirelit quality. The environment is pleasant and cozy. Beer was fresh and cold.

Had dinner there yesterday with a group, unfortunately I'm totally disappointed with my meal, the "Allgäuer Käsespätzle". They were really a disgrace. Unfortunately, that had nothing to do with Käsespätzle and certainly not with Allgäuer Käsespätzle. And then really expensive. Dry spaetzle, in a carelessly prepared metal dish, gratinated with cheap grated cheese. No salt, no pepper, no flavor. Cheese spaetzle definitely works differently, the chef probably needs another lesson here. I would have liked to complain but the waiter wasn't really interested in the well-being of his guests. You were dealt with quickly and quite rudely, bang, bang, bang. Location and ambience really are how you would imagine a brewery to be. I won't be coming back, but I would like an answer to my review. Stefan D.

We are Brazilians and I make a point of evaluating this restaurant, as it was the only place we were treated well on the day we spent in Stuttgart. The lady who served us was super friendly and went out of her way to help us understand the menu and choose the dish we wanted. We ate the famous pork knuckle, a super elaborate dish, 1 dish was enough for two adults. Delicious food! In addition to the price being cheaper than competitors. I recommend!

When we arrive, he tell us only one table is available, which is near the door and it is very small( maybe only can be use for 4 person, but we have 6 person) Most importantly, the restaurant is no one at that time?? We sit inside at first floor (no smoking). The outside tables were full. Excellent food and good beer for a relaxing evening.

The ambience is great. Nicely rustic. There's something Bavarian about it. Delicious Swabian specialties, but generally a good, tasty selection. Happy to come back on your next visit!

I've eaten here three times now and everything has always been top notch. I think the roast pork here is great. The next time I come to Stuttgart I will definitely visit again and I'm already looking forward to a delicious roast pork.

A small, cozy beer garden outside!

The brewery is an excellent venue, with a typically and classically German style, located in the centre. It offers very good cuisine, naturally accompanied by the variety of beers whose brand it bears the name of.

A great spot to enjoy the inside or outside accommodations with a beer and a bite to eat. I tried their Wiener Schnitzel and my dining partner tried the Maultaschen - both are excellent! I love the setting and spent a great early evening here.

Four of us had lunch for lunch. Service was very friendly and quick. We all enjoyed it very much. Even if it costs a little more, you'll be happy to come back here. Good Swabian and Bavarian cuisine.

The beer was really, really delicious. The schnitzel was a bit soggy. I think it was okay if you dipped it in ketchup.

Nice location with great seating outside. Great ambience inside and outside. Service was very good and always on point. Nothing was ever missing and we were regularly asked if everything was okay. The food was amazing. There were four of us here and we had asparagus cream soup, onion roast, Paulaner plate and Jägerschnitzel with very tasty side dishes. You still get very good portions for your money here. The salads are also very tasty. The menu has a wide selection of good, home-style German cuisine. The price isn't exactly cheap, but it's definitely worth the money, especially these days when everything is becoming more expensive and the staff also wants to be paid well. Even though we were there an hour before reservation, it was immediately made possible for us to stay. Reservations are probably essential as the restaurant is very busy. Thank you for the great hours with you and for the extremely friendly service. We'd love to come back.

We eat there regularly The menu is up and down Super tasty and there is the best Kaiserschmarrn❤️ The service is great And I love the atmosphere of the smoking room 😂 Of course there is also a non-smoking area! Only recommended!!!

High prices: E.g. Käsespätzle over €18! That's why I ordered meatloaf: two small slices, probably warmed up a little in the microwave, counting two half slices of medium-fresh bread and -tadaa! a leaf of parsley, the whole thing for €10.90! The location and the friendly service don't make up for that.

The place is very cozy and the food is very good. But - the prices are completely overpriced. I was there last: Small salad, 1 pork schnitzel (very small - the size of a palm and thin; no side dishes) and a water 0.5 for €24.20. Usury! Was still hungry afterwards! The menu clearly shows that the prices are too high. Especially for drinks like Cola, Fanta etc. this exceeds the magical mark of max. 100:100 (100ml:100 cents). As long as we pay for everything obediently, nothing will happen. I'm not stingy, but I don't allow myself to be left out either, especially when it's out of proportion. Don't go there anymore. [Addendum on April 25, 2024 based on the response from the inn] So if you're talking about "sufficiently large" portions, I'm attaching the untouched picture of the schnitzel that I sent to my wife with a request to cook me something again in the evening! And with all understanding of the situation regarding general price developments and good quality - but they are simply far too expensive.

Today I ordered a pancake soup that was absolutely inedible. I don't know if the chef has no taste, but it was water with pancakes. I complained that the food didn't taste good and I left it out. I still had to pay in full even though I only had 2 spoonfuls of it. When I complained that it didn't taste good, Källner laughed at me in a really rude and unfriendly way. I'll never come here again...

I went here for lunch and also to get out of the rain. I decided on just a main course and went for the German sausages with sauerkraut for about €15.60, if I remember the price correctly. The sausages were very good indeed, I could have eaten a few more of them, to be honest! The sauerkraut was good also and went perfectly with the meat! :) Service was very good and the young waitress was friendly and welcoming. So, if you're in the area and fancy some Bavarian and Swabian pub grub, then give this place a go! ;D I can get busy at the weekend, so it might be worth booking if there is a big group of you going.

Restaurant offering typical local dishes prepared with excellent basic ingredients. The property is located in a relatively quiet area and has a smoking room on the ground floor and a non-smoking room on the first floor. The menu is full of local and German dishes prepared very well with local ingredients. The service is quite fast, the hospitable tavern-like environment and the prices are average for similar places. The only flaw is that the place is very noisy

This brewery has a big problem. There is smoking on the ground floor (a lot), and not on the upper floor. It's stupid. To begin with, it seems incredible that at this point there is smoking in a restaurant, but given that it has 2 floors, wouldn't it be better if the smoking floor was on the upper floor? Because since it is the bottom floor, everyone (those of us who don't smoke too) we have to go through the smoke, with the consequent damage to the health of non-smokers. Absurd

Nice German style restaurant. The pork knuckle and pork chop are grilled very crispy, the red sausage is also delicious, and the portion of the dish is large. The sauerkraut was average and I ordered a salad which was very satisfying. It gets crowded at night, so you can order in advance when dining on weekends.

Warm and welcoming environment. Generous portions, quite friendly staff. But the Schnitzel breading tasted too strongly like butter.

Let's be clear, the food is more than excellent, beer comes as a refreshment after the food. Recommendation to try Paulaner (salad) for a minimum of 2 people. Of course, it is unlikely that you will eat everything, but of course you can take everything you don't eat with you. Don't expect the staff to dance around you like you're king/queen. But of course they will be at your service when you call them. Don't be shocked if there is a big crowd because I haven't tasted better food in a long time.

Service is friendly, even when it's full. Free places are organized quickly and easily. The food is very good and the beer is very tasty. My recommendation: the gourmet salad with shrimp and lamb chops! And of course the roast pork. Update 2024: still great and clear recommendation.

Always worth a visit when you are in Stuttgart. I recommend the onion roast - juicy steak, thickly topped with butter, served with fried potatoes. The roast pork, the Maultaschen and the Gaisburger Marsch are also very good. Especially nice when it's warm, outside by the fountain. But also cozy inside. Excellent accessibility by light rail and S-Bahn.

The ambience is very traditional, the restaurant is divided into several smaller rooms, so it looks even more individual. Since we were a larger group, we had a separate room completely to ourselves, which thrilled us. Food, typical German cuisine, everything was very tasty and served quickly. Very friendly, professional and competent staff, as all of our wishes were fulfilled.
