Okay, if you're from Hanover and want to eat somewhere different, you don't necessarily look for a restaurant near the train station. Luckily, we did it anyway. Our spontaneous idea to go out to eat led us to Spoon, and we absolutely didn't regret it: Super delicious food, great drinks, very friendly service. That was a very pleasant surprise. Thank you for that! :)

I was there for the first time this weekend, and I'll definitely be back :) It's a small place, but the atmosphere and noise levels are very relaxed (reservations are definitely recommended). The pistachio tiramisu was absolutely amazing. The pasta with salmon could have been seasoned better, but the rest of the group was also satisfied.

We discovered this restaurant by chance through a recommendation on TikTok and would definitely recommend it! The owner is super friendly, but not pushy. The food was prepared quickly, tasted delicious, and the drinks were also excellent. The portions are filling (the pasta was bigger in real life than in the picture), and the price-performance ratio is great. The atmosphere is inviting, and despite the restaurant being full, we were able to have a good conversation. We often miss that in other restaurants. We'll be happy to come back!

Wonderful Italian cuisine. Not just the classics of pasta, pizza, and the like are on the menu. I had the Ravioli Melazane – a variation I hadn't heard of before, but now I love. The Spoon Restaurant & Bar is definitely worth a visit; make a reservation in advance if necessary 😉

Ich weiss gar nicht so recht was ich schreiben soll. Alle waren nett und freundlich. Das Essen war gut und die Portionen waren mehr als grosszügig. Eine gute gemachte Pasta Arrabiata ist für mich immer der Beweis, dass ich im Ausland in einem italienischen Restaurant bin. Es ist sowas wie ein Gradmesser. Dieses Mal bestellte ich Spaghetti all'arrabbiata. Etwas erstaunt war ich dann über eine Art Linguine zusammen mit einer Tomatensauce vermischt mit Parmesan. Als keine Barilla Nr. 5 oder 7. Wenn ich ab und zu in Italien - am liebsten im Piemont dieses Gericht bestelle, liegt die feine Tomatensauce separat auf den dampfenden goldgelben Spaghetti. Der Parmesan kommt separat und kann nach Belieben beigemischt werden. Und das wichtigste ist vor allem die Schärfe, die dieses Gericht unbedingt haben muss. Dies war hier leider nicht der Fall. Darum bestelle ich auch all'arrabbiata. Wieso trauen sich viele italienische Gastwirte im Ausland nicht authentisch zu kochen. Nun gut - ich werde weiterhin die Penne oder Spaghetti all'arrabbiata bestellen.

The waitress messes up the order, and pizza turns into ravioli. The pizza we ordered arrives fairly quickly, but it's cold. An hour and a half after ordering, those who arrive half an hour later get their food before us. The place is incredibly loud. You practically have to shout at the table to have a conversation. The waitress is completely overwhelmed. Once and never again

We got pizzas there. They tasted okay, nothing outstanding. However, they were completely overcooked, so I wouldn't necessarily eat there again.

I think Spoon has the best food in Hanover. We've been there several times now and have been impressed every time. The staff is super friendly, attentive, and accommodating.

The location of the restaurant is right on the main street. There are tables both inside and on the street. However, I didn't find the outside seating very appealing. But that's pretty much the only thing I have to complain about. The food is really great. You can tell that a lot of love and craftsmanship goes into the dishes. The pasta was homemade and the portion of tagliatelle with shrimp was really delicious. For me personally it could have been a little spicier, but pepper and salt were available at the table. The service here is at a top level. The gentleman who served us was extremely courteous and answered our questions about the preparation in a very friendly manner. The recommendations were also really appropriate. In addition, the interior is absolutely harmoniously furnished, so that you can completely forget the hustle and bustle on the main street. A really great experience and above all the great service will be remembered very positively. We'd love to come back.

Cozy restaurant with friendly service. When I was there the restaurant was more than half full. The food was hot and steaming after less than 10 minutes. I was missing a bit of Slaz but luckily that was on the table. Shortly after I had the food, I was asked if everything was okay. I haven't had that once in the last year. Great service! I had the tagliatelle from the daily menu. The dried tomatoes went great with the asparagus. I can only recommend the dish. It was also nice that the music volume was very pleasant.

We ate a pizza there. This was prepared for us even though it wasn't on the menu. Getting two plates to share the pizza was no problem at all. We each had an Insalata Mista with it. This one only had oil and lemon as a dressing. Everything else, such as balsamic vinegar, pepper and salt is on the table. I really liked this because balsamic vinegar is often already included in the dressing, which I unfortunately don't like at all. The dishes are very, very tasty 😋. The service was very attentive and friendly. If we come to Hanover again, we know where we're going to eat 👍.

The small restaurant is definitely recommended! The food tastes very tasty, homemade! You can clearly see the difference here. The pasta dishes are fantastic, we'll try pizza next time. Be sure to try the basil parfait for dessert - it's a dream!

Service very attentive! Ambiance very pleasant. Unfortunately a bit small, you should order in advance. Food was delicious. Tagliatelle with lamb: the package was quite firm, the pasta was a bit soft, so it was difficult to wrap and kept tearing (complaint at a high level). But it could also be that I waited too long and the pasta soaked up the sauce.

I ate here with my wife and I don't understand why this restaurant isn't always fully booked. We had the tagliatelle with salmon and the pizza salmone and were both more than impressed. It tasted extremely good, the drinks were also delicious and, despite it not being noted on the menu, I was served my drink of choice. It was also inexpensive. Always happy again.

Due to the great impression at our company Christmas party, I booked the New Year's Eve menu privately. In both cases: - very attentive, courteous service - super tasty multi-course menus - "chilled" atmosphere My family and my colleagues can only warmly recommend this small restaurant.

Atmosphere and employees are first class. Food so far also a 9/10. The tiramisu had a little too much cocoa and the parfait was too frozen. But everything tasted very tasty. Overall a 9.7/10. would love to come back

A very nice Italian restaurant with a selection of classic dishes, which remains manageable, doesn't become confusing - and isn't really overpriced either. The service was exceptionally friendly. You really felt welcome. The audience was comparatively young in terms of age. Overall, a real recommendation in an unexpected place. It wasn't the last time we were there!

Starting with the ambience and the darkened charm, the restaurant provides a nice, pleasant space to enjoy time with your loved ones. As if you were celebrating the evening at home. The food was a smooth 10/10! Great portions and the taste tailored to each spice. The drinks round off the overall picture with an excellent wine list, gin list and cocktails. Conclusion: definitely worth a visit, a fantastic team with passion!

We have been to the Spoon on Friday evening and it was almost full - kind waiter gave us free last table. I had delicious pizza with ham and mushrooms. Definitely worth tasting.
