The restaurant is great, and the food is of high quality. Only the pricing is borderline ridiculous: when starters start at €20 and a 0.3-liter Einbecker beer costs €6, you're a bit out of your own way.

A very typical Italian restaurant. Highly recommended! Incredibly delicious and very friendly. However, they're also very assertive when it comes to, say, a side salad or Italian beer. Neither is available. 1. Italians don't eat side salads, and 2. This is a wine bar with an extensive wine list, by the way. Would go back anytime. Reservations recommended.

Four weeks ago, three of us ate there again. The wine selection was remarkable. The food and atmosphere were rather average; I was even disappointed by the pasta dish—generic.

Unfortunately, I had technical difficulties posting this review, and my visit was a few months ago—but I still really want to catch up. I have to admit...I don't even know where to begin...😍 I had given this restaurant visit to a friend as a birthday present—so we went there as a couple. (Be sure to make a reservation in advance. I don't think you'll get a table there spontaneously 😉) First of all, I would like to emphasize how wonderful I find it that all guests are personally greeted with a handshake and escorted to their table. We immediately felt welcome and very comfortable. The service was first-class—very attentive, incredibly friendly, and the wine advice and selection were also excellent. Now I come to the food...oh my God—it was a dream. Beautifully presented and the taste was simply outstanding. The price is certainly on the high side, but absolutely justified. I'm already looking forward to my next visit there. Please keep up the good work; it was a magical experience for my friend and me...🩷

Wir waren vor etwa 2–3 Wochen zu viert im Botticelli und haben uns für ein 4-Gänge-Menü entschieden. Es war rundum ausgezeichnet: Das Essen war vorzüglich, jeder Gang ein Genuss. Die Bedienung war angenehm unaufdringlich, aber immer genau dann da, wenn man sie brauchte – sehr aufmerksam und professionell. Das Ambiente ist warm und gemütlich, viele echte Gemälde an den Wänden schaffen eine besonders stimmungsvolle Atmosphäre. So haben wir dort ganz entspannt fast vier Stunden verbracht und die Zeit sehr genossen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder und können das Botticelli jedem empfehlen, der gutes italienisches Essen in Hannover sucht.

All in all, a very good restaurant. Ultimately, though, I wouldn't go back. After we ordered three courses and had a very good meal, no one ever came back to ask for drinks. I estimate it took an hour. Of course, we could have asked, but when I'm paying €80 per person, I expect more. We eventually went up to the counter for the bill, and our request to pay separately was met with an unfriendly response. The cashier was able to separate the items without any problem. It's a shame that the ending sours the overall impression.

I have never felt as warmly welcomed in a restaurant as I did here. We had a five-course menu that appealed to all the senses and was clearly designed with great attention to detail. The ambience of the furnishings, furnished with a lot of passion, invites you to immerse yourself and marvel. It is definitely not an ordinary Italian but the embodiment of Italian.

I had an exceptional dining experience at this restaurant. Every dish we tried was incredibly delicious, but the highlights were definitely the main courses. The risotto was perfectly creamy and flavorful, and the steak was cooked exactly to our liking—tender and juicy. On top of the fantastic food, the service was outstanding; our server was extremely friendly, attentive, and made us feel warmly welcomed. Highly recommend this place!

Einmal "extra" aus dem Süden Hannovers ans andere Ende der Stadt - die guten Bewertungen hatten uns neugierig gemacht. Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht! Das Dreigang-Menü war wunderbar - mega-lecker, gute Portionsgrößen und eine vorzügliche Auswahl. Nur so viel: Wer "englisch plus" anbietet und liefert, kann's einfach. Summa summarum tolle Geschmackserlebnisse und ein freundlicher, unaufdringlicher Service. Dazu ein Chef, der sein Restaurant mit Herzblut "lebt". Was will man mehr? Übrigens: Das Ambiente (eher eng) ist ein eine wunderbare Zeitreise, gepaart mit moderner Kunst. Unser Fazit: Wir kommen wieder!

Ein Ambiente, ein Service, eine Küche, Freundlichkeit, die kaum zu überbieten ist. Das Bottiecelli ist mehr als empfehlenswert. Es ist ein "Must have", wie es heute oft zu hören ist. Habe kaum besser in meinen letzten zehn Jahren in der Landeshauptstadt gespeist und möchte behaupten, daß Bottiecelli zu schlagen fällt schwer. Also mein Fazit: hier sollte man zumindest einmal gewesen sein als Gast in der Stadt und als "Einheimischer" geht man sowieso wieder, weil die Gourmetseele es so will. Guten Appetit

I spontaneously ate here with my family for my birthday without a reservation. The food was excellent. The service, as you would expect from Italian gastronomy, was very accommodating. I ended up there after a quick search on Google, and my expectations were definitely exceeded. I had the four course surprise menu.

The ingredients are very fresh, the seasonings are harmonious and balanced, and it’s a very comfortable meal! The only flaw is that the venison is 50% or even 70% of the three-rare required, but the excellent quality of the meat and the excellent taste and texture of the gin sauce and celery puree make up for this imperfection. I will eat here again in the future after seeing the interesting menu! In addition, Grappa has a rich variety that is worth trying.

An afternoon browsing the restaurants of Hanover. At a certain point, reading the reviews, I see that a particular place had reviews that described the owner and his wife, Mr. Emilio and Mrs. Domenica, as people out of the ordinary. Driven by curiosity with my mother, we went to their house for dinner. I'm sorry to be as repetitive as the others but they were right. Friendly people, attentive to detail and very professional. The food was exquisite, cooked well and impeccably presented. We started with a prosecco, continued with a Sardinian red wine (I don't remember the name😅) and ended the dinner with the Baglio di Pianetto 2016 Ra'is Essenza Moscato Terre Siciliane (I wrote this down, can you see?😂). Aaaahh! I forgot, even the desserts were a spectacle! you can't help but try the dark chocolate aubergines, divine!!😍

As I said, I have been dining in this beautiful restaurant for several years. Most recently with friends after Christmas. As always, a great greeting with a handshake and we were lovingly looked after all evening. Our chosen menu was, as always, excellent and it was a culinary delight. The recommended wines were excellent. The entire evening was great again. We would like to say "thank you" 🙏 to the good spirits in the kitchen who prepared delicious meals for us and to the extremely professional service, who is not terribly "stiff" and also has a sense of humor and are already looking forward to the next evening .😊😋 We have visited the restaurant several times. A really nice atmosphere, friendly and competent service. The guest is looked after. The food is of excellent quality, very attractively presented. It's great to have the opportunity to put together your own favorite menu. The wine recommendation is top. We feel We're very happy and we're happy to come.

A culinary experience at Botticelli – like a trip to Italy This is the fifth time I have had the pleasure of visiting the Botticelli Restaurant and, as always, I was greeted with exceptional warmth. From the first second you feel the Italian joy of life and feel as if you are going on a little trip to Bella Italia. The charming, intimate ambience, attentive service and exquisite food make this place a real gem. As soon as I arrived, I was kindly escorted to my seat and, as expected, my table was tastefully prepared. For this evening I spontaneously decided on an individually put together 5-course menu, a decision that I haven't regretted for a second. A magical start I was served a greeting from the kitchen in advance: a deep-fried ball of tender cheese, seasoned to perfection. A little culinary treat that was not only delicious, but also marked the ideal start to the evening. 1st course – Fried scampi on zucchini and mint cream with burrata An easy, fresh start! The scampi was perfectly fried, tender and aromatic, while the zucchini and mint cream shone with its freshness and lightness. The burrata, wonderfully creamy, added a pleasant richness to the dish. The presentation was also a feast for the eyes, an excellent start that set expectations high. 2nd course – porcini mushroom ravioli in truffle cream sauce An absolute poem! The ravioli was expertly prepared, al dente to perfection, with a heavenly porcini mushroom filling. The truffle cream sauce coated the dish with a creamy elegance that literally melted in your mouth. As a lover of Italian cuisine, I immediately felt transported back to my childhood. It was a real flavor explosion, without a doubt the best ravioli I've enjoyed in years. 3rd course – Variation of cod, monkfish and zander The third course was an elegant variation of cod, monkfish and zander. Each fish was incredibly tender and cooked to perfection down to the smallest detail, the textures buttery yet perfectly defined. The cod impressed with its mild, slightly nutty taste, the monkfish impressed with its firm, yet juicy consistency, and the pike perch impressed with its delicate seasoning and crispy skin. This trio was accompanied by a light, aromatic sauce that enhanced the natural flavor of the fish without overpowering it. A wonderfully harmonious course that brought the freshness of the sea to the plate and impressed with its perfection. 4th course – Braised lamb shank with rosemary and pumpkin puree A strong, hearty main course that still came with a certain elegance. The lamb shank was wonderfully tender, the meat literally falling off the bone, while the pumpkin puree was a perfect complement with its slight sweetness. A dish that warmed the palate and completely satisfied. 5th course – dessert variation (Variazione di dolci) The crowning finale was a variation of desserts that left nothing to be desired: a homemade tiramisu, a raspberry chocolate parfait and a warm chocolate cake. Each component was a delight on its own, but together they created a harmonious finale with just the right amount of sweetness to round off the evening perfectly. An overall experience with charm and esprit All dishes were freshly prepared and served at the ideal temperature, a sign of true culinary art. Both the service and the cuisine deserve my greatest praise and respect. It was an all-round successful evening that made me happy once again. The Botticelli is a small shop with a lot of charm and Italian spirit. I can highly recommend it, a culinary highlight that will be remembered.

Top Italian in Bothfeld. You can always enjoy a lovely evening at this top Italian restaurant on Sutelstrasse. Perfect service, great cuisine and the cozy atmosphere make every visit an unforgettable event. The prices are not bad, but you get a lot for it. The cuisine is excellent and the menu is changed regularly. You can really try everything, it always tastes very good. Even dishes that you don't normally like to eat. I would also like to particularly mention the wines: I always received excellent advice at Botticelli and was always served a top wine with my meal. By the way, there is no pizza here. We'd love to come back.

Unfortunately, online reservations do not work here. I made reservations twice and received no response for days - neither confirmation nor rejection, even though the email request promised a quick response. Nobody can be reached by phone either because the phone is constantly “busy”. Nevertheless, we set off in the hope of finding a place, but were sent away again. Apparently there is only one answer if space is available. A strange system.

Top Bewertungen machen neugierig… also planten wir zum Weihnachtsfest einen Besuch rechtzeitig ein. Die Website machte es möglich, so dass wir unser Menü schon in Ruhe vorher wählen konnten. Die Freundlichkeit des Servicepersonal zu Beginn machte Lust auf mehr. Der Tisch am Fenster rundete das Ambiente in dem Lokal ab. Die Wartezeiten waren normal, der Service aufmerksam. Als das Essen kam waren wir von den angerichteten Tellern und den Speisen begeistert. Das Fleisch war auf dem Punkt, die Beilagen geschmacklich präsent und warm. Natürlich war der Preis mit je knapp 40 Euro nicht billig, aber berechtigt für die Qualität und Zubereitung. Gerne wieder.

Wir haben uns sofort willkommen und sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Bedienung war erstklassig - sehr zuvorkommend, total nett und auch die Weinberatung und -auswahl war super. Jetzt komme ich zum Essen...oh mein Gott - das war ein Traum. Wunderschön angerichtet und geschmacklich einfach hervorragend. Sicherlich preislich eher gehoben angesetzt, aber absolut gerechtfertigt. Such a successful evening… It was our first time there, but definitely not the last time. The food was TOP, the service was GREAT, the atmosphere was SO BEAUTIFUL

Ein wirklich tolles italienisches Restaurant, das wir zum ersten aber bestimmt nicht zum letzten mal besucht haben. Wir wurden mit Handschlag begrüßt und verabschiedet, das Servicepersonal war super freundlich und richtig auf Zack. Alle drei Gänge haben wirklich gut geschmeckt und waren auch optisch sehr schön angerichtet. Auch wenn die Karte etwas höherpreisig ausgelegt war, fanden wir die Preisgestaltung für das Gebotene absolut gerechtfertigt. Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt: die Portionen waren recht klein. Man sollte auf jeden Fall drei Gänge essen, beim nächsten mal werden wir eher vier bestellen. Zusätzlicher Pluspunkt: Wir hatten einen Essensgutschein geschenkt bekommen, den wir leider etwas zu lange liegen gelassen haben, so dass er abgelaufen war (Gültigkeit leider nur 12 Monate). Wir haben natürlich gleich bei Ankunft im Restaurant gefragt, ob wir ihn trotzdem noch nutzen dürfen. Das wurde uns sofort und ohne jegliche Diskussion zugesagt - so geht guter Service!
