Everything was excellent. Great, friendly, approachable young staff, good selection of food at moderate prices, but the drinks are a bit higher. Wonderful ambience. The visit was the highlight of our Berlin trip. My ancestors were there in the 20s of the last century.

Spiegelsaal is one of my favorite places in the world. If you go on a Tuesday night for “Tango Night,” it’s like stepping back in time. You can feel the weight of history within the room. The place is lit by candles. Authentic, classical tango music plays. You can hear the whispers of feet sweeping across the wooden floor. It is a stunning and intimate affair.

Excellent food, great portions and a good price. Biggest portions and best taste of any Sudanese restaurant I’ve been to. Ahmed, the owner is a legend. Always so happy to see him, would just come here to greet him.

Boxhagener Str. 21I would give zero stars here! I ordered the food through Wolt and everything tasted fatty and fishy. Everything here seems to have been fried with old fat. Absolutely disgusting and inedible! 16 euros thrown out the window.

Weisestraße 58We had a wonderful lunch experience in a private room for a private birthday celebration. The table was lovingly set and the atmosphere was pleasantly intimate. The service was attentive and friendly. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented – perfect for sharing, so everyone could enjoy what they wanted. A complete success!
