Authentic Indian culinary experience! A wonderful restaurant with warm service and a lovely atmosphere. The waiters are attentive and friendly, the atmosphere is stylish and cozy. The food is simply outstanding – authentic spices, fresh ingredients and perfectly balanced flavors. The butter chicken and naan were particularly delicious! A real highlight for lovers of Indian cuisine. Absolutely recommended!

I recently ordered the "Spice Village Grill Mix" from this restaurant via Lieferando. The exact description of the dish was not available on the platform, so I was excited to see what to expect. I was delivered a selection of different dishes: four small pieces of chicken in two different marinades, a piece of lamb, two shrimps, a small portion of rice, a flatbread and another dish that was reminiscent of a curry-like red dish. The portion size was acceptable for the price of just under 20 euros, even if the individual components were rather small. The food was delivered within 20 minutes and was still nice and warm. The marinade was very red, and although I can't say if any dyes were used, I found the taste very tasty. The pieces of meat looked like they had been grilled on a spit, suggesting that a grill was actually used. Although I came across some negative feedback while reading through restaurant reviews, I cannot confirm it. I had asked for the food to be a little spicier, which was also honored. On the Bestworscht scale I would rate the sharpness as a "D", which was about right for me. The mango lassi was also very good, a bit sweet, but still fresh and suitable for the meal. All in all I give this order 4 stars. Although I have experienced better Indian cuisine, I can still fully recommend this restaurant. It was an overall satisfactory experience!

You don't often find such good Indian food. There is also excellent service and super friendly and authentic people. I order here regularly and can only recommend it. The dishes are so filling that you can easily fill up twice with an extra portion of rice ;)

As always, the food was delicious, everything fresh and prepared with authentic spices. The service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The butter chicken and palak paneer are particularly recommended.

Super Very tasty and delivered quickly

We ordered Daal Makhni and Malai Tikka for the first time yesterday, but what we got from Lieferando was not Indian what we had imagined. Daal makhni with a lot of oil and didn't taste good either. Malai Tikka was still raw and smelled bad. I then contacted the manager. Instead of communicating politely with me, he threatened us that we belong to a group that often does this sort of thing in order to reimburse the costs. We didn't get a cent back from him and the manager was very rude and very unprofessional to me. I can't understand the good reviews. That's not how you talk to customers. Will never order there again. I would best give 0 stars if it were possible.

Chicken tikka, seekh kebab, butter chicken and chilli chicken are my favorites and great taste.

The curries and grill tasted good but it seemed like they have used artificial colours to enhance the redness of the food. Also, the curry was too oily and I’m not sure whether it was oil or butter. Please clarify these to us.

Another Pakistani restaurant masquerading as an Indian restaurant. Food was of average taste and the service was poor. Prices mentioned outside do not match the ones on the menu card. Request the owner to be honest when advertising the restaurant.

Wir sind recht spontan im Spice Village Restaurant gelandet - und das war super. Sehr freundlicher Service - absolut bezaubernd, obwohl wir sie vermutlich vom Feierabend abgehalten haben. Das Essen war sehr lecker - auch hier sehr nett beraten worden. Wenn ich wieder in der Gegend bin, komm ich gern wieder.

Essen war pünktlich fertig jedoch triefte das essen vor öl und die tikka massala sauce wirkte eher wie eine pürierte tomate mit zu viel salz als eine richtige sauce. Das naan war auch unterduchschnitlich. Kann die vielen guten bewertungen nicht nachvolziehen, kann das essen vor ort nicht bewerten da ich abgeholt habe.

Die Bedienung war sehr nett. Von dem Essen habe ich mehr erwartet. Auch für Mittagstisch finde ich das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nur mittel. Es war sehr kalt im Restaurant und daher ziemlich unangenehm. In meinem Essen waren auch Haare.

Super Service, alle sehr freundlich und nicht aufdringlich. Wurden sofort nach Getränken gefragt und kurze Zeit drauf auch nach dem Essen. Alles war super lecker und frisch. Zubereitungszeit war angemessen. Parkplätze sind in der Nähe kostenlos und nicht bloß für Einwohner, eigener Parkplatz leider keiner vorhanden. Preise ebenfalls angemessen. Waren rund um zufrieden!

Wirklich sehr leckere indische Küche!

Die Räume sind etwas muffig, das Essen war ok. Die Parksituation ist eine Katastrophe.

Ob sich eine Anreise aus Frankfurt extra hierher lohnt wie manche schreiben, wage ich zwar zu bezweifeln, aber wenn man in der Nähe ist, macht man hier nichts falsch. Die Preise empfinde ich für die Lage auch eher höherpreisig.

Geheimtipp in Kalbach für den sich auch eine Anfahrt z.B aus Frankfurt lohnt. Tolle indische Küche und freundlichkeit.

Das Restaurant liegt mitten in Kalbach nahe der Hauptstraße. Der Gastraum ist groß und hell in passendem indischen Stil eingerichtet, an der Wand hängen schicke Teppiche und auf den Fachwerkbalken stehen Figuren. Man sitzt auf bequemen Lederstühlen, die Tische mit Kerzenschein und echten Blumen stehen angenehm weit auseinander. Im Hintergrund plätschert ein Wasserspiel und es läuft leise, indische Musik. Das Speisenangebot ist sehr groß und bietet alles, was wir erwarten würden. Unser Essen schmeckte lecker (die "Schärfebewertung" auf der Karte passte), unser Service war sehr freundlich und trotzdem angenehm zurückhaltend. Die Preise gehen in Ordnung, sie liegen meist zwischen 15€ und 20€ pro Hauptgericht. Parken ist schwierig, kommt besser mit dem Bus (Linie 29 hält 3 Minuten entfernt).

Geschmack sehr gut! Preislich etwas gehoben.

Grandioses Restaurant. Bester Inder in der ganzen Rhein-Main Region. Gibt leider in ganz Frankfurt keinen von dieser Qualität. Vorspeisenplatte perfekt und so ein zartes Hühnchen, wie man es sonst nirgendwo bekommt.

First time order at your restaurant. I’m not certain how you can call your food Indian. We had very classic chicken tikka masala and Instead of tomato based sauce we had beets? Likely there was some tomatoes, but the sauce was mostly blended root vegetables. It tasted like carrots and beets. The color was certainly beet color. On the bright side your food was not as sweet as every other restaurant in Frankfurt. We used Lieferando for delivery. It was fast enough, no complaints there. However please make blended tomato sauce for your tikka masala.
