Speisekammer Anno 1583 in Rinteln

Es tut mir leid, eine so schlechte Bewertung schreiben zu müssen, aber unser Besuch war leider eine große Enttäuschung. Das Essen war durchweg viel zu salzig. Selbst die Pommes, die ich extra für meine Tochter bestellt hatte, waren kaum genießbar. Dazu kam, dass meine Bestellung eimal falsch aufgenommen wurde, sodass ich am Ende alleine essen musste. Das Rumpsteak meines Vaters musste zurückgegeben werden, weil es extrem versalzen war. Auch beim zweiten Versuch war es nicht besser. Daraufhin wurde ein weiteres Steak gebracht, das leider ebenfalls ungenießbar war. Dabei war die Qualität des Fleisches eigentlich sehr gut – nur die Zubereitung hat das komplett zunichtegemacht. Besonders schade ist, dass wir uns bewusst für dieses Restaurant entschieden haben, um mit der Familie einen schönen Abend und ein etwas gehobeneres Essen zu genießen. Leider wurde daraus ein Reinfall. Positiv möchte ich erwähnen, dass sich das Personal mehrfach entschigt hat und das Steak meines Vaters schließlich von der Rechnung genommen wurde. Trotzdem können wir das Restaurant aufgrund dieser Erfahrung leider nicht weiterempfehlen. Selbst Stunden später habe ich noch immer den übermäßig salzigen Geschmack im Mund. Wirklich schade, denn wir hatten uns deutlich mehr von diesem Besuch versprochen.

Ich bin noch immer schockiert über den Service den wir dort erlebt hatten. Wir waren dort zum Geschäftsessen und das war mir sehr unangenehm. Obwohl ich seit meiner Geburt in Rinteln wohne werde ich und meine Mitarbeiter diesen Laden für immer meiden. Geht lieber in die anderen Locations in der Umgebung.

Ein wirklich tolles Lokal. Wir hatten Kalbsleber und den Lammrücken. Beide Gerichte kamen heiß an den Tisch, alles war schön angerichtet. Das Fleisch war super gebraten, außen kross und innen super zart. Die Beilagen auf den Punkt, alles gut gewürzt. Das Essen war ein Gedicht. Unsere Bedienung war super freundlich. Wir kommen gerne ein anderes Mal wieder!

Man möchte sich am Tag seiner Hochzeit nicht ärgern...aber wenn man trotz Reservierung des Sektempfangs und Hunger dort mit seinen Gästen steht, dann aber kein Personal anwesend und der Chef nicht zu erreichen ist und noch nichtmal die besprochenen Sitzplätze hergerichtet sind, ist das für solch ein hochgelobtes Lokal verdammt traurig . Zum Glück hat Rinteln andere Lokalitäten, die uns mit ihrer Spontanität das Hochzeitsessen gerettet haben. Grundsätzlich ist das Essen dort super und das Ambiente auch. Der Service ist dagegen einfach nur schlecht.

Wir haben zusammen in diesem Restaurant gegessen. Die telefonische Reservierung verlief reibungslos und das Essen war, um es kurz zu sagen, fantastisch. Ich hatte Rotkohl mit Kartoffeln und eine Rinderroulade für eine Person. Mein Partner hatte BBQ-Spareribs. Uns beiden hat es sehr gut geschmeckt.

Absolut Empfehlenswert. Die Karte ist nicht zu überladen und die Preise sind vollkommen gerechtfertigt 👌🏼 ich bin ein guter Esser und habe meinen Anno Burger mit Pommes fast nicht geschafft 😅 dementsprechend sind die Portionen auch ordentlich. Die Kellner sind auch zack, höflich und kompetent.

Wir waren schon mehrmals zu Besuch und es war jedes Mal super lecker! Das Ambiente ist sehr angenehm und die Lage in der Altstadt von Rinteln einfach schick. Zudem ist es immer sauber und die Bedienung ist sehr nett und aufmerksam. Die Portionen waren überraschend groß und die Preise sind absolut angemessen. Wir können das Lokal nur empfehlen!

Das Essen war richtig gut wenn auch die Preise ziemlich gewürzt sind. Das ist für gute Qualität aber noch ok. Der Service war leider unterirdisch. Wir fühlten uns nicht willkommen und wurden isgesamt nicht beachtet.Also saßen wir vor leeren Gläsern. Eine Kellnerin wollte sich dann gleich um uns kümmern,kam aber nicht wieder.Auch die Rechnung bekamen wir erst beim zweiten Anlauf und auch erst nachdem wir uns am Tresen gemeldet hatten. Schade

Essen war sehr gut, bis auf den Kaiserschmarn, der war definitiv zu trocken für meinen bescheidenen Geschmack. Das junge Servicepersonal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und hat ihre Aufgabe sehr gut gemacht. Der Chef selbst hat es nicht für nötig gehalten seine Gäste zu fragen ob alles zur Zufriedenheit ist, obwohl er sich lange im Restaurant aufgehalten hat. Man hatte das Gefühl er wollte hofiert werden. Bis auf diese Kleinigkeit war es ein perfekter toller Abend, sehr zu empfehlen und jederzeit gerne wieder.

Ein sehr schönes Restaurant mit leckerem Essen (ich muss öfter wieder kommen um alles zu probieren)! Das Ambiente ist sehr einladend und das Personal zuvorkommend und man fühlt sich gut aufgehoben. Wenn man Schick und lecker essen möchte ist es der richtige Ort!

Waren zu viert zum Essen. Das hohe Preisniveau ließ eine hohe Qualität erwarten. Leider waren die Speisen eher untere Mittelklasse, so unser Eindruck. Also keine Empfehlung, wir kommen nicht wieder.

Hier gibt es das beste Rumpsteak, welches ich je gegessen habe. Das Schnitzel ist auch super lecker. Wer hier nicht hingeht verpasst etwas !

Wir waren in den letzten Monaten mehrmals zum Essen da, die Gerichten waren sehr lecker , die Qualität sehr gut und auch gut portioniert. Leider etwas kühl im Speiseraum, deshalb würde ich 4,5 Sterne vergeben.

Waren Weihnachten zum Essen dort und hatten uns für das Menü entschieden. Wir hätten auch das Buffet nehmen können. Die freundliche Bedienung hatte uns die Möglichkeit dazu gegeben. Die Speisen waren lecker und schön angerichtet. Die Service Kräfte waren trotz Feiertag nett und aufmerksam. Gerne wieder.

Anlässlich der Weihnachtsfeier des Inklusionsrats der Stadt Rinteln durften wir einen wunderbaren Abend in der Speisekammer verbringen. Serviert wurden u. a. Kalbsleber, halbe Ente und Schnitzel nach „Achims Art“ – alles perfekt angerichtet und ein wahrer Gaumenschmaus. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die hervorragende Barrierefreiheit des Hauses und den ausgesprochen freundlichen, respektvollen Umgang mit Rollstuhlfahrerinnen und -fahrern. Hier fühlt sich wirklich jede und jeder willkommen. Ein herzliches Dankeschön an das gesamte Team für diesen gelungenen Abend – wir kommen gern wieder!

Wir waren am 14.11.25 mit 12 Personen (vorher reserviert) in der Speisekammer in Rinteln essen. Es wurde ein 60. Geburtstag nachgefeiert und meine Nachfrage ob ich den Tisch dementsprechend ein bisschen „schmücken“ kann, war überhaupt kein Problem. Auch Kinder und Hunde sind hier willkommen, was mich sehr freut. Das Ambiente ist wirklich stimmig und man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Die Speisekarte ist übersichtlich gehalten, was für die Qualität der Speisen spricht - es ist wirklich für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Der Wein, welcher mir durch den Service empfohlen wurde, war genau nach meinem Geschmack. Der Wunsch eine Zutat bei einem Gericht wegzulassen, war auch kein Problem und klappte super. Negativ aufgefallen ist mir, dass die Hauptgänge zu unterschiedlichen Zeiten serviert wurden. Die ersten waren schon fertig mit Essen, da haben die letzten von uns erst ihre Gerichte bekommen. Auch war die Servicekraft, welche uns die Speisen serviert hat, teilweise unsicher was sie gerade für Speisen bringt. Die Speisen waren lecker. Nur bei einem Hauptgang waren die Nudeln leider nicht mehr al dente. Der Service könnte aufmerksamer sein. Es standen unsere leeren Teller ca 30 min auf den Tischen bevor sie auf Nachfrage abgeräumt wurden. Es standen in der Zeit 3 Servicekräfte im Tresenbereich. Keine Nachfrage nach Nachspeisen, Kaffeespezialitäten oder ähnlichem. Die Speisekarten wurden uns nach der ersten Bestellung abgenommen mit dem Hinweis, dass nicht genug vorhanden sind - für mich ok, aber man könnte sie zwischendurch z.B. für Bestellung von Nachtisch nochmal anbieten. Auch für weitere Getränkewünsche mussten wir den Service herbeirufen. In dieser Hinsicht würde ich den Service besser schulen. Dieser soll natürlich nicht aufdringlich sein, aber man fühlte sich mitunter eher ignoriert. Das passt nicht zum Ambiente. Meine Kritikpunkte habe ich am Ende der Servicekraft mitgeteilt. Fühlte mich da aber auch nicht ernst genommen. Sie wirkte zickig und verwies mich darauf, ob ich nicht sehen würde, das wir nicht die einzigen Gäste seien. Absolutes NoGo! Ein freundliches Danke für die Hinweise, wir werden das im Team besprechen wäre hier angebrachter.

Wir waren aufgrund eines Bericht in den Schaumburger Nachrichten dort. Das Ambiente ist stimmig und einladend.Der Service mit 2 Personen für Getränke und Service unterbesetzt. Wir hatten eine Flasche trockenen Riesling für 22,00 Euro was wir als sehr günstig empfanden zumal er auch noch sehr lecker war. Im Hauptgang hatten wir die Ente. Brust sehr gut, Keule trocken. Rotkohl und Wirsing sehr lecker( Wirsing leider nur lauwarm) Die Sauce auch sehr lecker. Die Kartoffelknödel hart und eine Zumutung. Der Kaiserschmarren zum Dessert war grandios, mit viel Rosinen, Mandeln und schön karamellisiert.

We had Kross's braised pork knuckle. Crispy and well-cooked with sauerkraut and mashed potatoes, and a couple of good beers. It was good!

We enjoyed it so much that we stopped by three times during our vacation. We were completely thrilled.

How good can a restaurant be that engages guests in discussions about table assignments, accompanied by insults? Subterranean. A German phenomenon.

A wonderful ambiance for small and large celebrations, or for a cozy evening for two. The menu features some Austrian classics that taste like home.

The food was great. 🩷 I had schnitzel with fried potatoes and a side salad. The portion was really large. The atmosphere was great. The restaurant is located in the middle of the market square, and the interior was also very well decorated. Now for the service: it was awful. The waiters seemed uninterested. They were slow to come to the table. They didn't recommend the daily specials. They weren't present and soon left. 😅 We had three different waiters, and all three were very bad. The restaurant is beautifully located on Rinteln's market square, offering great outdoor seating and a stylish interior. Unfortunately, the waiter left immediately after my friend asked him if the fried potatoes were crispy, instead of taking our order. We had to call him again so we could order. She had a schnitzel, and this portion was very generous with crispy fried potatoes (the schnitzel wasn't very flattened, though, and there were no air bubbles in the breading), and I had pasta with pork fillet in chanterelle sauce. The pasta wasn't al dente, and there were only a few chanterelles. The chanterelles were very soft, so I assume it was a frozen product, and the pork fillet wasn't pink. My side salad was forgotten, but I didn't notice until I left the restaurant. The drinks service was inattentive, and my friend had to call for staff again to order. Theoretically, we would have still liked to have dessert there and asked for the menu again. Unfortunately, after receiving this card, nothing happened for a long time, so we asked for the bill. To pay with our debit card, we had to go back into the restaurant and wait for the responsible employee again. We then had dessert next door without having to wait.

We ate at Speisekammer with eight people over the weekend and were thrilled. The ambiance was bright, modern, and cozy. The service was excellent, and even though there were no vegan dishes on the menu, they still managed to whip up something. If you value quality, Speisekammer is the place to be.

The food was great. Highly recommended! The starters are a bit overpriced, all around €14. The main courses cost between €18 and €25. The staff are very friendly, but they aren't very attentive...they don't ask if they need anything or if you'd like another order.

It's cozy, even if the tables aren't wiped down, but rather sparsely cleaned of crumbs with a flick of the wrist, which then end up on the upholstery. The gnochi are drowning in an indefinable cream sauce. The only flavor comes from the cheese crust. A chanterelle mushroom wanders into this dish, accompanied by a broccoli floret. Creativity and a taste sensation are nowhere to be found. But if you just want to fill yourself up, you're in good hands here.

First, we took a seat outside. The staff came and went. After we were finally registered as guests—mind you, we had organized the menus ourselves—our drink orders were taken. We reserved a table for 6 people online on June 8th, 2025. It was quick and easy. Our table was ready. Drinks were taken and arrived very quickly. The food also arrived very quickly and tasted very good. In terms of quantity, there were no complaints up to this point. However, the fact that we then sat for almost an hour in front of empty plates and empty glasses is a real eye-opener. We then stood up and went to the counter and paid. Our friendly question as to whether everything was okay was answered with a no and a brief explanation. The young man behind the counter politely declined his attempts to save us. We paid and left. The young man and the three friendly young ladies actually had everything in view from the counter. It was a shame that, despite the very good food, the lack of service spoiled our evening so much. The service needs more than just improvement. The food is very good. A shame.

Today was my second lunch at Speisekammer Anno 1583. The service was very attentive and professional. The asparagus with schnitzel, followed by the Kaiserschmarrn, were of good quality and very well prepared. The hollandaise sauce, for example, is particularly noteworthy; it was homemade. This is becoming increasingly rare in other restaurants in this price range. Likewise, the plates are preheated. Seemingly small details, but they make all the difference. Kudos to the kitchen and the service!

I was invited to an event at the pantry. The buildings are impressive. The food fantastic. You can tell that the chef was a star chef for 30 years. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Also very child friendly. If you are looking for something of higher quality instead of the usual, this is the perfect place for you. After the event, I seriously considered whether I should celebrate my next big birthday here in Rinteln - and I come from Berlin. We would have loved to have been there this evening for the normal a la carte meal, but unfortunately we were leaving today.

Yesterday we wanted to convince ourselves of the quality and service. And I have to say: our expectations were exceeded!!! Rarely eaten so deliciously! The service was friendly, the food was excellent and of good quality. The wine recommendation was good and the greeting from the kitchen was also delicious. I had lunch in Rinteln today, in the very tastefully and comfortably furnished restaurant "Pantry Anno 1583", it is located in the historic Ratskeller in Rinteln, a wonderful ambience. (approx. 13th century to 1900 the town hall of Rinteln), on the beautiful market square. I ate one "Onion roast roast", it was a rump steak with braised onions, bacon beans and sweet potato puree. I also drank a Königpilsener and then an espresso. It was an extremely delicious lunch, so a big compliment to the kitchen and of course also to the very friendly waitress who also managed the restaurant. I can really highly recommend the restaurant "Special Chamber Anno 1583". 💕💕💕🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Seitdem im Stadtkater die Speisekammer Anno 1583 drin ist, habe ich dort zweimal gegessen. Beide Male sind wir enttäuscht weggegangen und möchte nicht nochmal einen Versuch starten. Spargel - eine Katastrophe. Käsespätzle - wirklich schlecht gemacht. Daher Daumen runter, so Leid es mir auch tut.

We spent exactly 46 minutes in this restaurant. The atmosphere is very quaint and cozy. Very welcoming. However, the food left a lot to be desired...unfortunately. My partner had the ox cheeks, which he didn't like at all in terms of taste. I ordered the kale plate. My food was very bland, not very seasoned and unfortunately almost cold when it arrived at my table. The portions are very small overall and wouldn't have filled us. We wouldn't go there again and unfortunately we can't recommend it.

Because we wanted to try something new, we went to the pantry for the first time. The atmosphere is really nice and inviting, and the prices are also reasonable for the selection of “most” dishes. Very good wine selection. The staff is still very young and still needs to gain some experience. They sometimes seem a bit uncoordinated, but they make up for it with their positive charisma and friendliness. The food was okay, but we expected more. I was originally looking forward to the ox cheeks, but I saw this dish at the next table and then decided against it. The price-performance ratio was simply not there, the plate was very manageable. The wild boar roast was ok, the savoy cabbage was very tasty but overcooked. Unfortunately, the meat was quite dry and hard around the edges. The same with the corn-fed chicken. Here too, the vegetables were very “done”. For dessert there was gratinated vanilla cream with plum sorbet. Wasn't ours. Overall it was ok and we will definitely come back and try something different. You can't always meet everyone's tastes and sometimes you can't have a good day. The arrangement on preheated plates was very positive.

The cheese fondue was delicious, even if the quantity was too small for 5 people and was more like an appetizer. Instead of the triplets specified, there were overcooked boiled potatoes, which fell apart in the cheese. When the waiter pointed out that this was disappointing, all he said was "Next time it will definitely be better!". We'd love to come back, but not for the cheese fondue.

A very nice restaurant on the beautiful market square in Rinteln. Unfortunately, people there don't understand that vegetarian really means meat-free. No meat sauce either. I ordered the side dishes for a meat dish and had no idea that the creamed savoy cabbage consisted more of bacon than savoy cabbage. Last night we went to the pantry for the first time to redeem the voucher from the voucher book. The atmosphere is really nice and the service is friendly and attentive. We ate there today with the voucher book and were very satisfied. The service is friendly, the restaurant is very well furnished and very cozy. The portion (schnitzel) was also good. The prices are already very high. I don't think we would eat there again without the voucher book.

Whether it's a birthday breakfast with a large group, a 40-year-old high school graduation party in the atmospheric vault, dinner with friends or a cozy coffee break while strolling through town - the pantry always offers the best setting, attentive service, food and drinks of very good quality and a pleasant ambience. Unfortunately, the selection of vegetarian alternatives is (still) quite manageable - we were even more thrilled that, upon special request (two days in advance), a cake stand with purely vegan products was provided for breakfast! Thank you for that ! The regular events in the house are also very nice. We're always happy to come back!

There were 4 of us and we had reserved. Food was good. Service was tried hard, there is still something possible, but definitely a recommendation.

We sat outside. In October. With a smile, a blanket was brought to us and the fan heater (under the parasol) was turned on. Great. Onion cake and Federweisser for €8. Both very tasty (the same thing cost €12 at the wine festival around the corner). Service was quick, friendly and attentive.

The atmosphere is very nice, but the portions are quite small for the price. I had an ox cheek for €23 which was actually just the cheek, the accompaniments were a really small hint of celery puree, romanesco and roasted potato cubes almost undetectable from the quantity. Then the staff: We asked for a dessert menu because we weren't full. However, no one came to take an order, so we paid without dessert and left. Really disappointing.

The three of us had dinner with you last night and we really enjoyed it! 👍🏼 There is something for everyone on the menu and the dishes are very appetizing. A soothing stay for body and soul in rustic old walls that you have decorated very attractively. Your staff is always approachable and courteous, yet reserved and attentive. We will recommend you and will definitely come back!

I wanted to eat here today. Unfortunately it didn't happen. The waitress didn't seem to be in the mood. No smile and it took 25 minutes before I could even order after I let them know inside. The gentleman in front of me at the table was also wondering what was going on here. When the soup I ordered finally arrived, it was completely cold. No apologies, I then paid for my drink and left. It's a shame, I've had different experiences there before.

Salads are way too expensive and very long waiting times for food and drinks. The service also needs improvement. Unfortunately not recommended.

The food was delicious and reasonably priced. We sat outside on the beautiful market square, but inside it also looked attractive. The menu is relatively clear, which means I would have expected a slightly larger selection, but we still found what we were looking for. The drinks were also quick and weren't overpriced as is often the case today. The service staff, who are all very young, still have some room for improvement, so I somehow lacked the confidence. Attention and friendliness were definitely there, the food was very tasty and we will definitely be back.

We ate in the pantry twice, it was very tasty and the staff was very friendly, I can only recommend it!!!

A very special restaurant with a good atmosphere and very good service at fair prices. The lunch menu is incredible!!! You can hardly eat so cheaply in a department store restaurant, although that doesn't even exist anymore. Even the route from Pyrmont is always worth it, especially since Rinteln is also very pretty.

We ate there on Sunday. Chanterelle soup, cordon bleu with fried potatoes and a side salad. The soup tasted good, but unfortunately the chanterelles were pureed beyond recognition. Unfortunately, the cordon was very dry and difficult to cut, and the small amount of cheese on the edge of the meat didn't make it any better. The "fried potatoes" were more like warmed potato slices and had less to do with "roast". The salad side dish unimaginative. You shouldn't believe that this kitchen belongs to a star chef, albeit a former one. It's a shame, we were promised more of it.

We had the sliced ​​pork fillet twice with spaetzle and a small side salad. The taste was good, but as a man the portion is quite meager and not at all filling. The spaetzle was obviously a finished product, which is not what you would expect from a former star chef. The side salad was delicious. For the price of 24 euros it could have been a little more.

The well-stocked menu offers pure understatement. The dishes don't sound particularly special at first, but they don't reveal the sophistication with which they are prepared. The taste is extraordinarily finely balanced and artfully prepared. Service that you don't even know anymore, on the ball and friendly. Always my pleasure.

Unfortunately our visit was not crowned with success. The waitress, a young man, simply forgot to pass on our order to the kitchen!! After waiting 45 minutes and asking how long the food would take, it only became clear. We then paid for our coffee and left the restaurant hungry!! A pity
