Very nice country inn with great gastronomy. Optionally à la card or buffet. Good bourgeois. Alternatively, small outbuildings can also be booked for private events. Very nice atmosphere. I deducted one star for service because it was not possible to pay by credit card. I didn't have enough cash with me and I didn't have a debit card either. Friends I was there with helped me out.

Great location with a very cozy atmosphere, you can sit there very well. We were there for the game buffet, whereby the game selection was limited to wild boar and duck. Rehab and deer were not there at all, but pork fillet, chicken, delicious ox cheeks and delicious roulades. Vegetables and salads were also great!

I accidentally waited for company here in vain. But I was immediately offered a table and a drink. After it became clear that I was wrong, the drink was even on the house. Great staff, nice atmosphere and as far as I could see the food looked very good. Thank you!!

We were able to experience our second wedding at this location. The atmosphere is wonderful, the staff are always very friendly, and the food was always excellent.

Great event location! Old farmhouse with a great terrace, beautiful garden and a small pond. There is a playground behind the restaurant and there is also a bouncy castle. The service is attentive and the food is delicious! All in all a great event!

The food was prepared with great attention to detail. There was something for every taste and the quality was simply first class. We were particularly thrilled that we were able to customize the menu so individually. The service was simply outstanding. The staff was always friendly, attentive and professional, both during the planning and on the day itself. We didn't have to worry about anything and were able to enjoy the day to the fullest. Attended BBQ buffet. The atmosphere is great, a really great farm with free-roaming goats, a playground for children outside, a farm shop. Prices for the BBQ were €34.90 per person. - Buffet was modern & rich Cons: - no signage for the food/buffet - bad/unsuitable for allergy sufferers (our son has one severe nut allergy - could hardly read anything, especially not possible with marinades/seasonings of the food) Here we only have one attempt, then only an emergency doctor. - Meat selection average - I would have liked more spare rips requested - unfortunately not refilled, unfortunately missed - paid for it just like everyone else! Very disappointing :-( - Desserts as well, if "empty" then "empty" - there were Afterwards only 1x variety - also stupid. - no children's menu/dishes on the menu - Line at the buffet is far too long and very narrow - in the back it was a nuisance because there was warm food and dessert there, Our food was there in the meantime and we had to wait again cold - Service not so good, people rarely asked for drinks or the plates stood for a very long time (were in the fireplace room) Conclusion: We would have expected much more for the money. €34.90 is quite an announcement. There is no children's menu for small children who do not take part in the buffet. The selection and quality was very good, but we didn't have the opportunity to try the things that others had. Very limited for allergy sufferers like the ones mentioned above. Therefore only 3 stars out of 5.

Yesterday we had the lunch buffet (€26.50 per person). It was really VERY tasty, even for vegetarians. The service was very nice and the atmosphere was cozy. It was really busy, but there was no crowd at the buffet and you could chat at a normal volume. We'll definitely be back. 🙂👍🏻

The service staff is very friendly, but could visit guests a little more often. The restaurant is in a very stylishly restored half-timbered house with an attached spacious terrace that offers a clear view of the nearby forest.

My children invited me and I was very happy about it and would visit again at any time.

A good restaurant, with a large and tasty buffet. With a lot of choice of different dishes. Definitely worth a visit. For Buffett we have almost 35€ per person. paid, drinks excluded. A very busy restaurant, with an advance reservation you have to try in several weeks. But sometimes, if you're lucky, you might get a free table outside on the terrace even without a reservation.

I went here for a school dinner and the food was good. They have a buffet and a menu as well. They also have a candy buffet.They hunt wild animals and you can eat wild animals meat.

That's all well and good, but waiting in line for a long time at the All You Can Eat Buffet BBQ is just not possible!

We visited Laer's restaurant near Herford last Sunday and were completely thrilled. Location and ambience: The restaurant impresses with its beautiful location and bright, clean rooms. We particularly liked the various terraces, which offer comfortable seating and invite you to linger in the sun. Service: The service was very friendly and accommodating. The boss also looked after the guests personally and asked if everything was OK, which we found to be very attentive. Food and drinks: The buffet was extensive and offered something for every taste. It was always freshly refilled. There was also ice cream, coffee and cake, which we also enjoyed very much. Overall we were very satisfied and would like to come back.

We celebrated our wedding in the beautiful courtyard of Laer in June 2024! The food was great, super tasty & beautifully prepared! The atmosphere was unique, festive and cozy at the same time! We also always received wonderful support from Kristin during the planning and had a great and reliable contact person in her! The drinks looked great, the rehearsal dinner was also great and very helpful. After so much praise, there were two things that we found very, very unfortunate. Unfortunately, a few of our things disappeared without a trace after the celebration and the dismantling by the night team, unfortunately also things with a high memory value for us. They could no longer be found. :( Furthermore, as a bride and groom, we were unfortunately put under time pressure several times during the celebration by one of the waitresses in a very unpleasant and stroppy way, even though the process had long been discussed. But overall we are still very, very satisfied and would celebrate our wedding again at Hof von Laer at any time. Thank you for this unforgettable day! ❤️

Wir waren am Samstag dort zu einer Hochzeit. Ambiente und Essen super.Servicepersonal war auch sehr nett. Das einzige was mir persönlich nicht so gefallen hat ist das der DJ und jemand vom Servicepersonal sich vorher schon mit Jägermeister anheizen mußten. Mir ist dann auch auf der Veranstaltung aufgefallen das diese Personen auch Bier und Mixgetränke weiter konsumiert haben.... Aber alles andere war top.

We were invited to a wedding there and were in the smaller event barn with a terrace and it was very nice. The location and the view from the terrace were very nice. Service was very good. Drinks and food were also very good. It was a successful day/evening.

Unfortunately, not a single appointment has been confirmed for a reservation for 6 months. Already sad. The next appointment was on July 28th. offered for the barbecue event. Apparently they no longer cook a la cart here but rely on mass production

We have now bought 3x asparagus from the stall in Marktkauf Lemgo. This is the best asparagus we have ever eaten. Big thick sticks, very tender, not fibrous, great taste. Excellent.

Today we were invited to the traditional asparagus dinner for Father's Day. And although there were a lot of good "eaters" there, it was a friendly, relaxed atmosphere and, more importantly, the food was tasty. My compliments to the whole team! That was a brilliant performance!!!

We were there for the asparagus buffet with our children. The two now have a new favorite restaurant. The food was simply great and even the children, who are not asparagus lovers, got their money's worth and not just when it came to eating. The outdoor area offers a lot to discover. A big thank you also goes to the great team who rounded everything off perfectly. Thank you for the great experience. We are already looking forward to the next time!

We went to the asparagus buffet with 6 people. This is simply sensational. The variety and especially the quality can no longer be increased. There is boiled and baked white asparagus and in the appetizer section asparagus in all variations. Service and ambience are very good. However, due to the large number of guests, it is quite loud. It's a shame you can't pay with Google Pay. That should actually be standard in 2024.

We went to Van Laer's asparagus buffet. Simply sensational. A large selection of dishes, including vegetarian. Asparagus is also prepared in different ways. The price is perfectly fine. Reserve well in advance if you want to go with large groups. We will definitely come back.

Food and ambience great. Service and organization underground. It was agreed in advance that there would be water on the table for a party and two types of wine would be served. Water only upon order. The waiter also didn't know the wines that were ordered and they didn't pour them either. We simply ordered the drinks individually while eating. The table decorations we brought with us were not placed on our table but were distributed around the restaurant. It's not all that bad, but not really good either.

The approach is a bit problematic because some arrogant visitors park on both sides of the street and then block the passage, so the truck cannot approach the restaurant, which leads to problems when goods need to be delivered. The employees are very ready to help in such situations, which is commendable. A very nice and popular restaurant for gatherings and weddings. There are plenty of parking spaces in front of the restaurant.

Delicious food, lots of space, good for celebrations but also for just eating out. The buffets are great and don't lag behind the quality of the dishes on the menu like in some other restaurants. There are also enough parking spaces available, I know otherwise. And the prices are also completely reasonable, especially for the buffets.

Yesterday evening I documented the use of pesticides in the strawberry fields :´-( and had to watch with tears in my eyes as a rabbit, 2 Egyptian geese and thousands of insects were poisoned. Update: I was very happy about the new flower strip and wanted to remove this comment. Now the flower strip has been mown and all insects and spiders have been killed. Clutches and eggs destroyed. Are the animals first attracted and then killed? That's the problem with our agriculture. Very unfortunate.

We were invited by the children to the Advent buffet, had a very good meal and felt very well looked after and looked after in the cozy atmosphere.

Standing at the bar to order a table, I heard a lot of obscene language from the kitchen in Russian, since the door was open!
