Cxielo in Herford

We celebrated our birthday party there with 80 people. Everything was perfect. Ambience, food and service. Nice service and flexible boss. Therefore a clear recommendation.

We had the pleasure of dining at Cxielo Restaurant yesterday as part of a business trip and it was simply amazing! The food was incredibly tasty and served quickly - exactly what we needed after a long day. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, just great! We felt completely comfortable and can only warmly recommend Cxielo. Next time we are in Herford we will definitely come back! A great restaurant not to be missed!

A little hidden, this location offers plenty of space for larger groups or for undisturbed conversations. The menu is extensive and offers varied dishes. Service is friendly and the toilets are clean.

We've been to Cxielo several times and unfortunately it's getting worse and worse. At the beginning it was still good (standard) food. Only 3 (!!!) times our telephone reservation was not found. Luckily there was always a table free. The last time we were there was at Christmas and, among other things, we had a slightly more expensive meal with duck, which was not tasty and also burned. Unfortunately we won't be coming back.

Good food, fast service, nice atmosphere and a parking garage around the corner...what more could you want.

The meat in the chicken burger could be better. It was tasteless and too thick. My partner's meat was perfect but fried potatoes were burnt. Otherwise everything was good 👍

Very good restaurant. A well-stocked menu. Pizza, burgers and vegetarian food... I've enjoyed everything so far. The service is nice, the waiting time is short and the prices are right. There is a small limitation when it comes to background noise. The store is large and quite busy, so it's not exactly quiet. Still...recommended.

Unfortunately today was an absolute failure - after more than 1 1/2 hours no food, that's not possible. No apology, nothing. So we had to look for another place.

Were there for the Christmas party. The food was delivered incorrectly and after it was complained about, the service staff was extremely rude. For this reason never again.

Our Christmas dinner was great and very tasty 😋. The service was very attentive, despite the many guests. Unfortunately the background noise was a bit loud due to the many guests, but the team can't do anything about that. We always enjoy coming to the restaurant and wish you happy holidays.

The food was mostly good, the ambience is excellent and the staff is friendly. The only downside are the cocktails during happy hour. They look appealing, but the alcohol content is so low (or even non-existent?) that I might as well order a juice.

I like going to this restaurant and eat almost always the same thing. The pasta with San Daniele is so incredibly delicious. I always plan to try a different dish, but so far it hasn't worked out. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very homely and pleasant. In summer you can also eat outside. The service has always been very friendly. Today it was very busy because of the Christmas parties, we got our food after 30 minutes. I'm still very happy with that.

Nice atmosphere, professional service and very friendly staff. The steak was grilled perfectly. I also have to mention a very warm gesture on my first visit. I arrived late and very hungry in the city also in the restoran. The kitchen was just closing. Nevertheless, they made me a very tasty pizza. For every praise!

Had our graduation meeting there. Very attentive service. Fast and friendly. Ambitious prices. Food ok. A bar with a snack…

Pizza dry and tasteless. Pasta totally overcooked with far too much oil, had at least 5 tablespoons of oil in the plate and why there was a whole sprig of rosemary in the pasta that already had parsley, rocket, spring onions and salsiccia (coarse fennel sausage) is a mystery to me. The starter was quite ok, but neither was the ham San Daniele nor were there ingredients from Italy that are so praised, at least I know that in Italy we don't eat tasteless black olives.

We wanted to spend a nice evening with a few friends, I reserved a table online and it was confirmed. When we arrived on site, there was a closed event there. Nobody canceled and on top of that we got a rude answer: “You were just unlucky. I can’t change that now.” Great evening

Delicious food, the amount of fries with the burger was very manageable. Unfortunately, we sat directly between two large events, which limited communication at the table due to the volume.

We had reserved a table for 15 people for a class reunion, unfortunately we were escorted out at 9 p.m. because the table was on the dance floor, which was now being set up. We were told we had reserved outside, which we certainly cannot confirm. Edit: only my bill was over €50, so it couldn't have been due to a lack of sales. I will never visit this restaurant again.

I think the restaurant and the building are very nice. However, the furniture has seen better days. However, the menu, the dried flowers and even the artificial flowers do not match the design of the house. There is a lot of potential here that is not being used to make the restaurant consistently appealing and of high quality. The food itself was unfortunately not convincing either. There was too much oil and too little flavor at play here. Too bad.

The Cxielo restaurant is located in downtown Herford. You can park in a parking lot behind the restaurant. The restaurant offers plenty of seating, indoors and outdoors. The menu offers pizza, pasta and meat dishes. We chose pasta with chanterelles and a dish with pork fillet. Both were very tasty. However, the accompaniment to the meat was too limited: three tiny Röstis. You shouldn't save money at this point. Double the amount would have been appropriate. The service was very friendly. We'd love to come back.

Yesterday we spontaneously went for dinner with 7 people. We called half an hour in advance and got a nice table outside. The service was above average and friendly. The food and drinks were delicious. We'll definitely come back.

It says on the internet that it is open until midnight on Wednesdays. However, the employee came at 11 p.m., visibly annoyed that they wanted to close and had actually been off work for an hour. We felt scared away. When I mentioned that there were completely different opening times on the internet, she just shook her head and didn't respond at all. You should update the opening times instead of approaching the guests like that.

It would be better for the service staff to cook 🧑‍🍳 everyone has a bad day sometimes but something like that 🫣 and then as the boss I have to at least have enough courage to come to the table.

Wir waren spontan mit einem City for 2 Gutschein im Cxielo essen. Das Restaurant ist wirklich sehr schön! Ebenfalls der Innenhof. Der Service der Chefin (wenn sie es war) war 100%ig. Die anderen Servicekräfte waren ebenfalls bemüht. Die Getränke kamen schnell und waren lecker. Ebenfalls das Essen. Mir fehlte allerdings etwas Salz an meinen Nudeln. Hierzu standen aber Salz und Pfeffer auf dem Tisch. Die Pizza war riesig. Leider war diese uns etwas zu salzig, vielleicht sollte man hier bei der Tomatensoße etwas an Salz sparen. Wir konnten sie so kaum aufessen und haben den Rest mitgenommen. Alles in allem waren wir zufrieden und würden definitiv wieder kommen!

We spontaneously ate at Cxielo with a City for 2 voucher. The restaurant is really very nice! Also the inner courtyard. The service from the boss (if it was her) was 100%. The other service staff also tried hard. The drinks came quickly and were delicious. Also the food. However, I was missing some salt on my noodles. But there was salt and pepper on the table. The pizza was huge. Unfortunately, it was a little too salty for us, so maybe you should save a little on the salt in the tomato sauce. We could hardly finish them so we took the rest with us. All in all we were satisfied and would definitely come back!

I was able to celebrate my 50th birthday at cxielo on Friday evening. A big thank you and praise to Admir and his team for a great evening in a great location with fantastic food and delicious cocktails!

Not every dish was perfect, but mostly very tasty. Very, very nice fast staff. The ambience is very nice, but a big deduction for the toilets: they are very dark (hardly any light) and I don't know whether they were really clean (I've been there several times). (For a restaurant like this, the restrooms should be fresh, bright and clean.) No changing options at all! The high chairs for toddlers were dirty. It's good that as a mom you have wet wipes with you!

I spontaneously wanted to reserve a table for two people because we were thinking about going out to eat at short notice. The waitress actually laughed at me on the phone because of it. I'll never eat there again.

The pork medallions with pepper cream sauce were some of the best I've ever eaten. They were just a little too spicy for me personally. The cocktails were delicious and the atmosphere was relaxing. The waiters were well organized and friendly. We would love to go here again.

We went to lunch with my work colleagues today. We were desperate, the pasta with cream sauce was very bad and only tasted like water. You could hardly cut the pizza, it was so hard on the edges. The arugula salad looked and tasted like it had been in oil hours ago. Never again. The service was very unfriendly.

We had dinner here as a large group. The restaurant is nice and quaint. We ordered several different appetizer platters for each table. The starters were beautifully presented and tasted excellent. For the main course I ordered the 300g fillet steak (medium). Unfortunately, that was just OK. Unfortunately the meat was cooked a little too long. What made matters worse was that the good piece was served in a lake of sauce. The quality of the meat was certainly very good. Unfortunately, every bite was drowned in sauce. Several people noticed this unpleasantly. Only one person had ordered fries with the steak and was able to enjoy the genuine taste. Tip: Order the sauce separately. The chef could have done a little better. Nevertheless, this restaurant is highly recommended.

We've been there several times and the atmosphere is really nice. A successful mix of noble and industrial. The food is good, it consists of fresh and high quality ingredients and you get generous quantities for a price that is ok. But: The service really leaves a lot to be desired. We wanted to use the cityfor2 magazine and were not allowed to do so (why was the restaurant included at night?). The waitress wasn't interested in a solution but simply said she wouldn't accept it and that was it. In addition, you are left sitting for a relatively long time, even if it is not full. It's a shame, then you think about whether you should recommend it to others and keep coming.

The Cxielo is always worth a visit. The food was delicious and everyone was really full. The service was also on point.

I felt very comfortable in the Cxielo. The atmosphere is modern and very relaxing. The charm of the former industrial location has been preserved and contributes to the feel-good atmosphere. The food was prepared with a lot of love and tasted excellent. The onion rings were the best I've ever tasted. The prices are reasonable, the selection is extensive, the staff is very friendly and attentive. I can fully recommend the Cxielo and will definitely come back.

Generally, I would give it 5*, but waiting over an hour for a pizza is too much. Ok, I understand there was a big party in the place and a lot of guests, but we also waited about 15 minutes for the beer we ordered. Nice atmosphere, tasty food, affordable prices. Just waiting 😉

There was a communication problem with my reservation, so I initially had to clarify where we would sit and whether we could even have lunch. The contact person on site took care of the matter. He admitted that something went wrong, but he would clarify everything with the boss. Ultimately, everything was fulfilled according to our wishes and the service was always friendly. Conclusion: Misunderstandings can always arise, but it depends on how you solve them. That's why everything is great!

The taste of the food was okay, but for the price the quantity and quality were not worth more than 3 stars. What I didn't understand is that I had to pay an extra charge because I exchanged one insert for another. The service was good and the employees were very nice and accommodating. The atmosphere is very nice and relaxed. This means you can have a great conversation for several hours because of the good volume of the music.

Four of us ate at CXIELO on a Saturday and were very happy with the food and the service. We found the prices for the wine to be above average. Since there was a private party in the next room that Saturday, it got louder later. Good distance to the city center and the train station (5 minutes).

Were at Cxielo on New Year's Eve, the buffet was great👍 great selection of dishes 🤗 and very tasty 😋 the only thing that absolutely didn't work was the music, techno and so loud that you couldn't have a conversation with your friends. It was always said that the music would get better soon. We tried to hold out until 11.30 p.m., then we left the restaurant. Not an option for us in 2024

Leider ist dieses Lokal für mich keinen zweiten Besuch wert. Zunächst mal ist beim betreten Vorsicht geboten, da im dunkeln die kleinen Treppenstufen kaum zu sehen sind und der Holzboden bei Regen recht rutschig ist. (Steht auch schon in mehreren, auch älteren Bewertungen scheinbar ohne zur Kenntnis genommen zu werden seitens des Betreiber) Die Lokation selbst ist rustikal, schick aber z.t auch in die Jahre gekommen. Einige Stühle sind kaputt oder die Polster haben Löcher auch der Wasserhahn auf der Damentoilette war verkalkt und lose. Nun zu den wichtigen Themen, Speisen und Service. Der Service war sehr bemüht aber viel zu langsam und inkompetent, es konnten maximal zwei Getränke gleichzeitig getragen werden was zu langen Wartezeiten führte. Nach Aufgabe der Getränkebestellung vergingen gut zwanzig Minuten für ein Wasser, eine Weinschorle und ein Bier. Wassergläser auf dem Tisch sind nicht poliert und voller Kalkflecken. Die Piccata Milanese ist leider ein Reinfall und hat mit dem italienischen Klassiker wenig zu tun. Die ca. 80 Gramm Kalbfleisch sind durch die sehr dicke Panade kaum zu schmecken und die Penne in der Tomaten-Frischkäse Sauce schmecken nicht besonders raffiniert eher wie eine fertige Sauce aus der Tüte. Alles ist sehr Lieblos auf einem Teller angehäuft. Der Beilagensalt ist mit sehr wenig Dressing angemacht und könnte frischer und geschmackvoller sein. Ein großes Problem sehe ich aber in den falsch deklarierten Preisen. Zu dem Homestyle Burger werden ungefragt Majo und Ketchup gereicht die dann mit je 0.70 cent berechnet werden. Das könnte man als Betrug am Gast werten. Wir haben die Rechnung aber so hingenommen, da wir ohne hin das Gefühl hatten mit Kritik hier eher auf taube Ohren zu stoßen. Für uns keinen zweiten Besuch wert und auch keine Empfehlung.

Schönes Ambiente, gutes Essen wir kommen gerne wieder. Sehr gute Pizza, Nudeln sowie individuelle ausgefallene Nachtische. Etwas zu dunkel um die Speisekarte zu lesen.

Lecker ! Pizza, Limonaden, Dessert und sehr freundliches und flottes Personal 👍. Ich würde mich über mehr Licht von oben freuen, um die Speisekarte auch ohne Handylicht lesen zu können.

War zum Essen mit Kolleginnen/ Kollegen dort u hatten das Essen nach der Speisekarte auf der Homepage vorbestellt. Mein Burger war nichts Besonderes, die dazu bestellten Pommes sehr, sehr dunkel fritiert, was ich aber aufgrund des vollbesetzten Lokales hingenommen habe. Serviert wurde auch Majo u Ketchup, die ich nicht mag und auch deswegen nicht gegessen habe. Zu Hause habe ich dann auf dem Bon gesehen, dass beides mit 1,40€ berechnet wurde. Da erwarte ich aber, dass ich vorher gefragt werde, ob ich das auch zu meinen Pommes bekommen möchte. Gefragt wurde aber nach der Fleischart. Die Pommes waren auf dem BON auch nicht extra aufgeführt, der Preis findet sich dann in dem plötzlich teureren Burger? Alles in allem wurden wir aber sehr freundlich u schnell bedient. Vielleicht gehe ich noch einmal im neuen Jahr hin, wenn der Stress mit den Weihnachtsfeiern vorüber ist! Gefährlich finde ich den Zugang mit den Treppen, die man im Nassen u Dunkeln kaum ausmachen konnte, da muss dringend etwas passieren!!!

Wir waren gestern im Cxelio, dass Ambiente war schön, einzig die Weihnachtsdeko auf den Tischen etwas lieblos ( das geht auch moderner). Der Service war freundlich. Das Essen hat leider nach nichts geschmeckt.. Ich hatte Rinderstreifen und Tagliatelle, die Nudeln waren viel zu verkocht und die Senfsosse hatte gar keinen Geschmack. Die Streifen selbst waren Perfekt. Mein Partner hatte mini Schweinemedallions in sagen wir mal Maggifix Qualitatssosse, wenigstens mit Geschmack und drei kleine mini Röstitaler, die Pizza Magerita hat unserem Kind geschmeckt, aber war und leider auch viel zu mehlig. Für knappe 20€ pro Gericht, haben wir mehr erwartet. Die angesprochene Kritik wurde aber freundlich aufgenommen und hoffentlich weiter gegeben. An sich ein schönes Lokal mit Luft nach oben - viel Glück 🍀 Achtung - die Treppen draußen sind im Dunkeln schwer zu erkennen - Stolperfalle

Freitagmittag, der Laden eiskalt, angeblich Heizung ausgefallen. Wir waren zu zweit, mit einem ungewollten Ton, wurden wir zum Tisch gebracht. Nach einiger, schon langer Wartezeit, bringt die Kellnerin die Karten als son Papierstapel und streckt sie mir für 2 Personen lustlos in die Hände. Das geht selbst beim 5€-Dönerladen besser. Bei 2 bestellten Gerichten, bei Salat ausdrücklich hingewiesen ohne Zwiebeln - kommt dieser mit Zwiebeln. Der Salat war nicht frisch, die Suppe war hingegen in Ordnung. Insgesamt düstere, ausladende Stimmung und bei den Mondpreisen: NIE WIEDER. Da passt die Leistung zu dem Preis leider nicht. Schade…..

Leider ist das Personal sehr unfreundlich. Das Telefonat wurde einfach beendet und währenddessen wurde mir nicht zugehört, ich wurde ständig unterbrochen. Man muss sehr lange warten, um etwas bestellen zu können, genauso lange auch beim Bezahlen.

Waren zur Weihnachtsfeier da mit 12 Personen, der Service war gut und das Essen hat geschmeckt.

Leider war die Dame von der Theke mega unfreundlich, wurde sogar leicht handgreiflich, weil ich nicht sofort aus dem Weg gegangen bin. Sehr schade, das geht professioneller. Ansonsten mal wieder sehr lange Wartezeit an der Theke und die Getränke sind zwei Stunden vor Ende ausgegangen, die Lokation an sich ist gut, zum Essen gehen ok, zum Feiern - passt auf wo ihr steht 😉
