Persönliche Erfahrung: - Ambiente an sich persönlich chillig, Musik zu laut - man kann sein Wort kaum verstehen. - Qualität der Zutaten durchschnittlich bis minderwertig (sehr zähes Rumpsteak, sehr faserig) - minimalster Aufwand für die Gerichte, also nur das Nötigste mit den minimalsten Zutaten bei zu hohen Preisen -> Gefühl, dass man mit dem Minimalsten zu hohen Preisen abgefertigt wird... es geht, m.M.n. weniger um Liebe zum Essen, Liebe zum Gast, sondern um maximaler Gewinn um jeden Preis. FAZIT: Nie wieder, keine Empfehlung, eher abraten... Sucht euch ein Restaurant mit Liebe zum Essen

Wir wären wirklich gerne zur Veranstaltung Tanz in den Mai gekommen, aber unsere Erfahrung im Vorfeld war leider mehr als enttäuschend. Nachdem wir extra 30 km gefahren sind, um Tickets vor Ort zu kaufen, war niemand in der Lage, uns diese zu verkaufen. Stattdessen wurde uns zugesichert, dass Tickets für uns zurückgelegt werden. Da wir die Strecke am nächsten Tag nicht erneut auf uns nehmen konnten, haben wir telefonisch nach einer Lösung gefragt und wollten die Tickets an der Abendkasse abholen. Dabei wurde uns dann plötzlich mitgeteilt, dass es gar keine Abendkasse gibt. Zusätzlich war die Reaktion am Telefon äußerst unfreundlich – uns wurde gesagt, es sei nicht ihr Problem, dass wir eine längere Anfahrt haben, und wir müssten ja schließlich nicht kommen. Vielen Dank für diesen Umgang. Ein derart schlechter Service ist wirklich enttäuschend und hat dazu geführt, dass wir die Veranstaltung nicht besuchen konnten. Wichtig: Diese Bewertung bezieht sich ausschließlich auf den Umgang und die Organisation rund um dieses Event. Sie stellt ausdrücklich keine Beurteilung der Location oder des Essens dar.

Essen gut, und das zu später Stunde. Service perfekt. Wir waren außerordentlich zufrieden.

Der Inhaber des Restaurants Cxielo beschwerte sich über meine ehrliche Rezension, in der ich ursprünglich schrieb: „Der Service war langsam und das Essen durchschnittlich.“ Das gefiel dem Inhaber nicht, und er behauptete, ich sei gar kein Gast, sondern nur jemand, der seinen guten Ruf schädigen wolle. Daraufhin entfernte Google Deutschland meine Rezension. Google überprüfte den Fall jedoch und bat mich um einen Nachweis, dass ich tatsächlich Gast war. Da es sich um eine Geschäftsreise handelte, hatte ich alle Belege für meine Ausgaben. Ich reichte Google einen Beleg ein, und das reichte aus, damit meine Rezension wiederhergestellt wurde. An den Inhaber: Falls er/sie dieses Update liest: Sie hätten einfach freundlich antworten und zusichern müssen, dass Sie Ihr Bestes tun werden, um Service und Qualität des Essens zu verbessern. Dann hätte ich die Rezension sofort entfernt. Leider hatten Sie nur eine Verleumdungsklage im Sinn. Ursprüngliche Rezension: Langsamer Service, Essen durchschnittlich.

Das Restaurant war sehr schön eingerichtet und das Essen war sehr lecker .Wir kommen auf jedenfall wieder .

Es war nicht der erste Besuch bei Cxielo. Es könnte aber sein, dass wir nicht noch einmal dort einkehren. Der Burger, den wir bestellt hatten, wurde auf einem großen Teller serviert. Da wäre jede Menge Platz für eine kleine Salatbeilage und eine solide Portion Pommes gewesen. Salat = Fehlanzeige! Die Pommes waren wohl abgezählt (15 Stück)? Bei einem Preis von 17,50 Euro kann man schon etwas mehr erwarten. Insbesondere nach dem Steuergeschenk ab Januar 2026. Wir wsren diesmal echt enttäuscht 😞

Sehr leckeres Lammsteak hier gegessen. Der Service ist klasse und wirklich sehr freundlich. Das Ambiente ist sehr gemütlich und lädt zum verweilen ein.

Es war ok. Trotz leeren Ladens eher langsamer Service. Preis-Leistung bei der Suppe nicht angemessen. Der Salat hatte zutatenmäßig wenig mit einem Ceasar zu tun und schmeckte unterwältigend. Auch hierfür zu teuer. Ambiente schön.

Ambiente ist für Kneipe und Restaurant echt nicht schlecht. Industriell, modern und trotzdem auch etwas romantisch. Essen war von guter Qualität und die Bedienung war freundlich und aufmerksam

Wir haben dort Silvester gefeiert. Es war wieder sehr gut. Musik, Ambiente und Personal top.

Wir haben gestern den Geburtstag uns. Tochter gefeiert. Ambiente: Sehr angenehm, nicht zu laut, genug Platz zwischen den Tischen. Service: Toll, die Damen sind supernett, schnell und sehr aufmerksam. Auch der Chef ist sehr, sehr nett, so geht Gastlichkeit. Essen: WOW! Pasta + Pizza perfekt, Schweinemedaillons in Pfeffersauce + Rösti ein Traum. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und können das Cxielo nur wärmstens empfehlen, wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Sind gestern zum ersten Mal hier gewesen. Das Essen war super, der Service war ebenfalls sehr freundlich und gut. Wir werden sicherlich nicht zum letzten Mal hier gewesen sein.

Die Location ist sehr schön. Die Kellner waren sehr freundlich und aufmerksam - über Durchschnitt würde ich sagen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Essen war insgesamt auch echt lecker, lediglich der Burgerpatty hätte gerne wärmer sein dürfen. Vorspeisen und Nachspeisen sehr zu empfehlen, auch vom Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis waren wir positiv überrascht. Was jedoch gar nicht ging, war die Damentoilette. 3 Kabinen. Eine Kabine ohne Licht, dafür ohne funktionierende Spülung, eine Kabine ohne Klobrille. Da besteht wirklicher Verbesserungsbedarf.

Dieses Lokal hat mich überrascht. Sehr nett und freundliches Personal, sehr gutes Essen..ich hatte Gänsebrust und Gänsekeule mit Klöße und Rotkohl, super zart und lecker. Mein Mann Pizza und ebenfalls begeistert. Wir kommen jetzt öfters !!

Kann man immer sehr sehr gut machen, wie ich finde. Waren 4-5x da und jedes Mal zufrieden.

Wir waren mit mehreren Leuten da und hatten leider einen enttäuschenden Abend. Das Ambiente war beim reinkommen sehr schön auch hatten wir einen guten Tisch. Das war aber auch leider das einzig positive. Das Personal stand sich an der Theke gefühlt mehr im weg als alles andere. Nach der Getränkebestellung haben wir darauf ca 20 Minuten gewartet. Nach der Essensbestellung wurde es leider nicht besser. Nach über einer Stunde sagte man uns es dauert noch weitere 20 Minuten. Da hatten aber andere Tische (mehr Leute als unser Tisch) die nach uns kamen schon ihr Essen und bekamen sogar schon Desserts. 1,5h später haben wir mit Nachdruck gesagt das wir jetzt gerne unser Essen hätten und wenn nicht, wir sofort gehen. Darauf hin wurde man auch mal Zügiger. Das Essen war fettig, ungewürzt, teilweise kalt und definitiv nicht das, was man für den Preis erwartet…. Wir sind sehr enttäuscht gewesen denn die Homepage verspricht mehr. Als wieder gutmachung wurden uns Heißgetränke aufs Haus angeboten, aber um 21:30 Uhr war da der Drops auch schon gelutscht und wir wollten alle nach Hause. Beim abkassieren wurde sich auch nicht bei jedem entschuldigt sondern war eher genervt und es waren angeblich noch Sachen offen obwohl jeder seins bezahlt hat. Für uns war es der erste und auch der letzte Besuch im Cxielo.

Trotz schönem Ambiente leider eine große Enttäuschung. Wir haben insgesamt fast zwei Stunden auf unser Essen gewartet – nach 1,5 Stunden wurde uns gesagt, es dauere „noch 20 Minuten“, am Ende waren es weitere 15. Kommunikation fand kaum statt. Als das Essen endlich kam, war es lauwarm, fade und teilweise ölig, und unser Tisch wurde nicht gleichzeitig bedient. Andere Gäste, die viel später kamen, bekamen ihr Essen vorher. Kinderfreundlichkeit Fehlanzeige: Am Nachbartisch wurden Kinder beschäftigt, unser Kind jedoch nicht – es ist vor lauter Warten eingeschlafen. Die Pommes waren lauwarm, und der Kommentar „Dann wecken Sie das Kind halt“ war unpassend. Meine Cola hatte kaum Kohlensäure. Als Entschuldigung wurde uns ein Heißgetränk angeboten – aber darauf kann man um 21 Uhr wirklich verzichten. Warum auch immer, wir durften nicht einmal am Tisch zahlen; nach unserem geäußerten Unmut wurde Blickkontakt gemieden und niemand kam mehr zu uns. Fazit: Schönes Ambiente, aber lauwarmes Essen, extreme Wartezeit, mangelnde Kommunikation, keine Kinderfreundlichkeit und schwacher Service – Preis-Leistung stimmt hier absolut nicht.

Wir haben hier unsere Hochzeit gefeiert 💒 Der Service war einfach wunderbar. Das Essen ist auch sehr lecker. Und die Preise sind ok. Ich bin sehr zufrieden. Wir haben uns bei der Anzahl der Gäste vertan, aber die Kellner haben schnell reagiert und einen zusätzlichen Tisch gedeckt.

Volle Sterne in allen Kategorien. Pizza so lecker und ein tolles Ambiente. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Ein gemütliches Restaurant mit leckerem Essen. Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Wegen des Parkhauses befinden sich ausreichend Parkplätze in der Nähe. Eine Reservierung des Tisches wird empfohlen.

I celebrated my birthday at this restaurant and was unfortunately very disappointed. The food didn't arrive for an hour and 15 minutes, the waitress seemed completely overwhelmed and barely responded, even after repeated inquiries. We had ordered steaks, specifically "well done." Nevertheless, all of the guests only received them "medium." After we sent the plates back, some of the steaks were recooked and served again – very unprofessional overall. The presentation of the birthday cake was also disappointing: I had left a spiral candle and a fountain to be lit. Instead, the cake was simply placed cold and carelessly on the table without any candles. For dessert, we ordered coffee, which never arrived. In the end, we didn't feel like staying there any longer. Conclusion: Absolutely unsuitable for a birthday party. While the manager is nice, the staff is disorganized and unfriendly. I cannot recommend this restaurant!!!

You wouldn't believe it, but there's a lovely terrace in the courtyard where you can relax, eat, and drink. Six people and our dog had a wonderful time here and enjoyed our dinner.

The beef fillet with chanterelles was delicious, the cocktail was also top-notch, and the carpaccio, the bread, the presumably homemade herb butter, and the dessert were all top-notch! We'll be back!

We have a stone-baked pizzeria in my town; it only cooks for 3-4 minutes at most. I also said not to cook too hard as I can't bite well, and I'm not a dog. I had to use a knife and fork to help me with the bruschetta. I was given a normal knife, not a sharp one, or a saw. My mother was delighted with her chanterelle mushrooms. Did it taste good? Yes, but the crust was much too hard. Yes, it's a stone-baked pizza, there's no other way. Come to my town, it's okay. 20 minutes to serve a pizza that's been hot in the oven for maybe 20 minutes - maybe I'm doing the woman an injustice - is too much in my opinion. The restaurant is very close to the Marta Museum, which is a good thing. And it's one of the few that's open all day on Saturdays.

The food was really delicious, but the service left a lot to be desired. After the meal, we weren't even asked if we had any further requests because the staff were so busy with themselves. We even got up to pay and stood there and nobody saw us. That was the last time we were there.

We went to Cxielo for a birthday celebration. We really enjoyed it. The service was attentive, friendly, and very professional. The food was very good, and the ambiance was also very pleasant.

We've always enjoyed eating at Cxielo. Today, Whit Monday, June 9, 2025, we booked a table for five people for 12 p.m. We were warmly greeted by a young lady, shown to our table, and served. After paying the bill and leaving the restaurant, the second server asked us if we had paid. The bistro was only moderately busy with ten guests. I then asked if that was a serious question and that no one had dared to ask that in all these years. The person in question then explained to us that it's customary in the restaurant industry to ask. I simply found it unfortunate and expressed my concern, as no server at Cxielo had ever asked, even when the restaurant was full. The server then literally kicked us out by telling us to leave the PLACE. The second time, she even did it forcefully, banging her hand on the counter. The attitude of the waitresses demonstrates that you're in a shop, not a restaurant. Since we were kicked out, we assume we're no longer welcome and won't be allowed into the restaurant again. It's a shame that paying guests are treated this way. However, we would also like to point out that everyone else is doing a great job and has always been friendly and professional.

Yes! Great restaurant with a very nice atmosphere and delicious food. We were there two weeks ago to party. Hopefully there will be more events like this in the future. The music and the atmosphere were really great. Better than the nearby clubs.

Pleasant dining restaurant with lots of seats, good service and a large selection of very good quality food and drinks. The service staff are friendly, attentive and on the ball, the portion sizes are in good proportion to the price, and the dishes are prepared and presented to a high standard. Taste is individual - but I like it very much!

The chicken burger had no taste and the piece of meat was too big for a burger. The fries were cold. Particularly annoying: the VEGETABLE burger was a burger with a meat substitute. When we pointed this out, the answer was that theirs was a vegetable burger. Unfortunately the pesto was missing. If you don't like meat, you should definitely avoid the “vegetable patty” 🙃

We celebrated our birthday party there with 80 people. Everything was perfect. Ambience, food and service. Nice service and flexible boss. Therefore a clear recommendation.

We had the pleasure of dining at Cxielo Restaurant yesterday as part of a business trip and it was simply amazing! The food was incredibly tasty and served quickly - exactly what we needed after a long day. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, just great! We felt completely comfortable and can only warmly recommend Cxielo. Next time we are in Herford we will definitely come back! A great restaurant not to be missed!

A little hidden, this location offers plenty of space for larger groups or for undisturbed conversations. The menu is extensive and offers varied dishes. Service is friendly and the toilets are clean.

We've been to Cxielo several times and unfortunately it's getting worse and worse. At the beginning it was still good (standard) food. Only 3 (!!!) times our telephone reservation was not found. Luckily there was always a table free. The last time we were there was at Christmas and, among other things, we had a slightly more expensive meal with duck, which was not tasty and also burned. Unfortunately we won't be coming back.

Good food, fast service, nice atmosphere and a parking garage around the corner...what more could you want.

Very good restaurant. A well-stocked menu. Pizza, burgers and vegetarian food... I've enjoyed everything so far. The service is nice, the waiting time is short and the prices are right. There is a small limitation when it comes to background noise. The store is large and quite busy, so it's not exactly quiet. Still...recommended.

Unfortunately today was an absolute failure - after more than 1 1/2 hours no food, that's not possible. No apology, nothing. So we had to look for another place.

Were there for the Christmas party. The food was delivered incorrectly and after it was complained about, the service staff was extremely rude. For this reason never again.

The food was mostly good, the ambience is excellent and the staff is friendly. The only downside are the cocktails during happy hour. They look appealing, but the alcohol content is so low (or even non-existent?) that I might as well order a juice.

I like going to this restaurant and eat almost always the same thing. The pasta with San Daniele is so incredibly delicious. I always plan to try a different dish, but so far it hasn't worked out. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very homely and pleasant. In summer you can also eat outside. The service has always been very friendly. Today it was very busy because of the Christmas parties, we got our food after 30 minutes. I'm still very happy with that.

I arrived late and very hungry in the city also in the restoran. The kitchen was just closing. Nevertheless, they made me a very tasty pizza. For every praise!

Had our graduation meeting there. Very attentive service. Fast and friendly. Ambitious prices. Food ok. A bar with a snack…

Pizza dry and tasteless. Pasta totally overcooked with far too much oil, had at least 5 tablespoons of oil in the plate and why there was a whole sprig of rosemary in the pasta that already had parsley, rocket, spring onions and salsiccia (coarse fennel sausage) is a mystery to me. The starter was quite ok, but neither was the ham San Daniele nor were there ingredients from Italy that are so praised, at least I know that in Italy we don't eat tasteless black olives.

We wanted to spend a nice evening with a few friends, I reserved a table online and it was confirmed. When we arrived on site, there was a closed event there. Nobody canceled and on top of that we got a rude answer: “You were just unlucky. I can’t change that now.” Great evening

Delicious food, the amount of fries with the burger was very manageable. Unfortunately, we sat directly between two large events, which limited communication at the table due to the volume.

We had reserved a table for 15 people for a class reunion, unfortunately we were escorted out at 9 p.m. because the table was on the dance floor, which was now being set up. We were told we had reserved outside, which we certainly cannot confirm. Edit: only my bill was over €50, so it couldn't have been due to a lack of sales. I will never visit this restaurant again.

I think the restaurant and the building are very nice. However, the furniture has seen better days. However, the menu, the dried flowers and even the artificial flowers do not match the design of the house. There is a lot of potential here that is not being used to make the restaurant consistently appealing and of high quality. The food itself was unfortunately not convincing either. There was too much oil and too little flavor at play here. Too bad.

The Cxielo restaurant is located in downtown Herford. You can park in a parking lot behind the restaurant. The restaurant offers plenty of seating, indoors and outdoors. The menu offers pizza, pasta and meat dishes. We chose pasta with chanterelles and a dish with pork fillet. Both were very tasty. However, the accompaniment to the meat was too limited: three tiny Röstis. You shouldn't save money at this point. Double the amount would have been appropriate. The service was very friendly. We'd love to come back.
