The food and service are good. It's also interesting for kids, as there's a corn maze and a playground, and you can even pet the animals.

Delicious asparagus dishes. You can practically taste the fresh asparagus on your palate. We really enjoyed it. The ambiance was also very nice. We'll be back next season.

Once again, we had a thoroughly enjoyable experience during our visit to Hof Winkelmann and the asparagus parlor! Friendly people and delicious seasonal dishes...highly recommend this visit!

We come here once a year with the family to eat asparagus. The drive takes an hour, which probably says it all! It's always lovely, especially with the playground for the little ones, the farm shop, and the obligatory ice cream.

I can only report on the asparagus with melted butter and ham on the bone. The asparagus soup to start with was incredibly delicious with lots of its own ingredients. The main course consisted of 6 decent-sized, relatively thick stalks of asparagus that tasted very good and were also well-cooked—not too soft and not too chewy. The 8 slices of ham on the bone were excellent, and the potatoes were just potatoes. Afterwards, I treated myself to a portion of strawberries with whipped cream (a very large portion). The premises, as well as the beer garden, are very clean and well-maintained. All the service was very polite and quick. Anyone who has anything to complain about this meal is probably a notorious complainer. I have had far worse food at all the asparagus farms I have visited this year. I can't say anything about the other dishes, as the above-mentioned dish has been my standard meal at Winkelmanns for years, and I have never been disappointed. I've been there twice this year, combining it with a trip to Dümmer, and will come a third time, despite a relatively long journey of about 130km.

Delicious asparagus dishes that you can't get anywhere else. Very friendly service. In 2025, there will be a significant price increase and/or quantity reduction (cream of asparagus soup, asparagus in tempura) compared to 2024.

The food was mostly good, the selection was okay, only the schnitzel was a bit dry and the asparagus soup was very tasty 😋

We ate very tasty asparagus there today on April 13th. The staff is attentive and very friendly. The food was plentiful and very well prepared. Anyone who has the opportunity to eat there should do so. Our conclusion.....all around great

Was nearby and had actually only heard good things. Was there in the evening. The beer garden wasn't full, so you could choose where to sit. The friendly service was there quickly and brought the menu (on thick paper or thin cardboard, I hope it will be used often). Large Alster was ordered quickly and delivered quickly. The first one tasted really good. Unfortunately the second one wasn't quite as good. There wasn't enough "Alster" in the beer for my taste. Starter bruschetta, that was really tasty. The bread is crispier on the outside and also a pleasant portion in advance. The grill plate was good and I was hungry. Was sent relatively quickly after the starter. The portion was quite manageable for the price. The coleslaw (coleslaw) was very moist. The steakhouse fries were good. The homemade herb butter and alioi were delicious. The meat was done. The chicken was great. The service was always friendly and I'm happy to give tips. But the price-performance ratio still doesn't work for me.

Unfortunately, in contrast to our first visit four weeks ago, we didn't like the asparagus at all in mid-June. It was woody, had little taste and was quite cold for almost all six people. We also noticed negatively that the female waitress was very busy. Asking every five minutes if we wanted something to drink really annoyed everyone at the table. Maybe you could have looked at the glasses that were still half full!?

At the entrance to the terrace you wait until a table is assigned. So far everything is OK. While you wait, you can watch as a highly motivated employee scrapes the leftovers off the plates in front of the eating guests. Is it still possible?? A trolley full of leftover food is right at the entrance. Excellent!!! Then we didn't eat anything anymore. A pity. Maybe someone should explain to the young people what to do. (Wipe tables, etc. instead of standing around listlessly) We'll still come back because everything else is fine.

It was super tasty, we would love to come back. Asparagus on the table with fries and pork medallion (no buffet) Only the spaghetti ice cream wasn't okay, it consisted almost entirely of cream and wasn't acceptable for the price.

Wenn man Spargel in allen Variationen möchte ist man hier goldrichtig. Super leckeres Essen. Sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Trotz vieler Besucher muss man nicht lange auf das Essen warten. Leider aufgrund des Zulaufs auch sehr laut und die Stühle etwas unbequem auf die Dauer. Das ist das einzige Manko. Komme gerne wieder und probiere die Speisekarte weiter durch.

Wir haben hier für ein Familienessen fürs Buffet reserviert. Am Zelt angekommen sagte man uns, dass es keine Reservierung gebe. Auf wiederholtes Nachfragen erkundigte der Mitarbeiter sich und die Reservierung wurde doch gefunden, allerdings für den Biergarten bei der Diele, wo man nur aus der Karte bestellen kann. Uns wurde (anstatt der von uns telefonisch getätigten Reservierung im Zelt) ein Platz draußen angeboten. Da das Wetter schlecht war, haben wir uns für den geschützteren Biergarten entschieden. Dort war die Bedienung sehr nett und versuchte den Fehler ihrer Kolleg:innen auszubügeln. Es sollten Beilagen nicht berechnet werden, die am Ende doch auf der Rechnung auftauchten. Letzten Endes hat sie es an der Kasse doch klären können und die Beilagen wurden nicht berechnet. Ich habe eine hohe Fehlertolleranz, aber so viele Fehler und die unfreundlichen Mitarbeiter am Anfang, haben uns enttäuscht. Der Spargel war sehr lecker aber alles rund um das bestellte Gericht "Streifzug" war ok, aber nichts besonderes.

Toller Ort! Die Gerichte, der Service und das Ambiente sind super. Im Sommer eine kleine Pilgerstätte für Radfahrer. Man muss nur Glück haben und einen Platz bekommen. Sonst einfach kurz warten.

Das ist schon eine Aussergewöhnlich gute Location, die Winkelmann hier mit der Spargeldiele Aufgezogen hat. Einen Tisch gibt es nur mit Reservierung oder man hat bei schlechtem Wetter Glück. Koordination der Küche mit kurzen Wartezeiten. Menue Zutaten vorbereitet. Knochenschinken kam deshalb schon leicht Oxidiert an den Tisch. Die Kartoffeln waren sehr kleine Drillinge und nicht für den großen Hunger geeignet. Ein Pfund Weißer Spargel, kal. 16-26, 8-12 Stangen, Hkl.1. Geschmacklich alles vom Allerfeinsten. Rechnung für 1Pers. mit Getränk bei über 28€ sehr Mutig. Anspruchsvolle Preisgestalltung die dem Volumen nach nicht Gerechtfertigt ist. Nobles Ambiente und freundliches Personal.

Sehr leckere Bruschetta mit Spargel und vegane Maultasche mit Spargel gegessen. Wenn der Parmesan beim Bruschetta durch veganen Reibekäse ersetzt würde, wäre es perfekt! Danke dafür!

Der Kaffee und der Kuchen war vorzüglich die Bedienung war sehr nett Parkplätze vorhanden bei einer großen Zruppe sollte man sich vorher anmelden

Wir werden mit Freunden zum Spagelessen dort es hat allen gut gefallen .

Schöner wäre die einzelnen Speisezutaten separat zu servieren und nicht alles auf einen Teller. Sonst ist alles lecker 😋.

Sehr lecker, abwechslungsreiche und außergewöhnliche Spargelvarianten. Auch wenn es voll war, wir wurden gut bedient. Passte alles.

Wir haben im Spargelzelt das Spargelbuffet genommen und das Essen war super. Es wird allerdings sehr laut, wenn viele Gäste anwesend sind Zum Spargelessen super, beide Daumen hoch

Bis her hatte ich die Spargeldiele immer als gut geführtes Restaurant mit fairen Preisen und tollen Angeboten wahrgenommen, aber anscheinend hat hier im ersten halbwegs "offenen" Frühjahr die Gier die Oberhand gewonnen. Die Preise haben deutlich angezogen, mehr als nur ein Inflationsausgleich und das wichtigste Gericht " Spargel satt" wurde ganz von der Karte gestrichen. Dabei ist es gerade dieses was man (und Frau) auf einem Spargelhof erwartet. Auch die Werbeflyer sind zumindest irreführend, direkt unter täglich geöffnet steht Spargelbuffet; nicht geschrieben steht dort, das es das Buffet nur an Wochenenden gibt. Somit bleibt als Fazit: Winkelmann Spargel gerne wieder, aber nicht mehr im eigenen Restaurant. Da gibt es in der Region bessere Gastronomiebetriebe...
