The ambiance is lovely, and the service is very friendly and attentive. The food service was also excellent and quick, and it was absolutely delicious.

Dear Schneiders Team, What was that all about last night? After several excellent meals, yesterday seemed to be a disastrous Sunday. When I inquired, they confirmed that the head chef was on vacation, but surely there must be someone in the kitchen who knows that you need spices to cook. All the dishes lacked flavor, and the meat on the mixed grill was unfortunately tough. The friendly service and the dessert salvaged three stars.

We celebrated our wedding in the hall at the Museumshof on Saturday, and it was simply fantastic! The food was absolutely delicious, and we were well-served with drinks both at our tables and later at the bar. The communication during the planning phase was pleasant, and we felt well looked after at all times, even with such a large celebration (160 people).

It's amazing what Mr. Schneider has created with the museum courtyard. There's a large playground next door for the little ones, and there's something for everyone at the museum courtyard, whether you're big or small. 😊 It's also a great place to celebrate 🥳 Whether inside or outside, you'll feel right at home. The breakfast buffet is very extensive and delicious. A large selection of rolls, cold cuts, and cheeses. Besides muesli, yogurt, and donuts, there are many other great things. Fresh fruit is also plentiful. And the selection is constantly being replenished.

Very nicely laid out beer garden. Unfortunately, it's self-service only, and the service was noticeably disorganized and unfriendly. The quality of the food was also rather average. Overall, the impression was that a lot of potential was wasted here. It's a shame, but we'd only recommend this place with reservations at this point.

We were there for breakfast. The room was huge and uncomfortable. The doors to the outside were open, and there was a draft. The selection wasn't great! Pancakes without maple syrup. Scrambled eggs without salt. Orange juice was concentrate. Only one type of semi-hard cheese. Tea water was served in thermoses, so the tea was naturally lukewarm. We won't need that again.

Today on our motorhome tour, we're staying at the highly recommended campsite in Rahden. This site, at least in good weather, has a special highlight: the Schneiders beer garden at the Museumshof. The ambiance is very appealing thanks to the surrounding greenery, the self-service is perfectly organized and therefore not a drawback, and the staff are very accommodating if we need assistance. Since I rely on a walker, we were immediately offered help—you can't ask for more service than that! The food prices, in relation to the quality and quantity, can only be described as absolutely justified. We can only recommend Schneiders at the Museumshof and the motorhome campsite as excellent.

Great location in the beer garden, you can eat and drink great here and the prices are reasonable. We'd love to come back

I ordered a very good steak with pepper sauce. Can't complain about anything. I was there during asparagus season and was only surprised by the prices for asparagus, which I found a bit overpriced.

I had booked a table for May 1st. We arrived at 7pm full of anticipation and in a good mood. We were horrified to find that we had been offered a table in the beer garden. Service was nonsensical. Only the drinks were brought. The food was OK. It didn't take long to be ready, so we had to get it ourselves. The meal, however, was not enjoyable. The asparagus was hard and the potatoes should have cooked longer. All in all, very disappointing. We wanted to have a cozy meal with relatives, but that wasn't possible. A very hectic, loud atmosphere and drinking in the background. The restroom looked accordingly. I was also not informed that when the weather is nice, only the beer garden is open. If I had known that beforehand, we would have eaten somewhere else. We felt very uncomfortable in front of our guests. Never again.

Everything looks very inviting, drinks are good but everything is quite expensive and only one star is the service because my family and I had already waited 45 minutes for our food wait and we don't know how long it will take. When we asked, we were told that it had already taken 2 hours to eat today. If you have enough time it's very nice but definitely not recommended on a weekday.

We stopped in spontaneously the other evening. The service was outstanding! Very friendly and always approachable. The food was good but not exceptional. But I would definitely go there again!

I was a guest there following a bereavement, followed by a meal. There was a hot buffet. Everything was very tasty, you could take whatever you wanted. We also sat separately so that we were among ourselves. Very pleasant. Ordering drinks was quick and you never had to wait long.

We were a registered group of 12 people for à la carte dinner. The service seemed overwhelmed by the number of orders being placed at once. Drinks didn't arrive at the same time and were incomplete, but were corrected in a very friendly and helpful manner. Wait time for the food: a good hour, but everything arrived at the same time. The food was average, but some of the steaks were cooked perfectly, despite ordering something else. We didn't complain because we didn't want to wait that long again. The dessert was a disappointment for the price. Ambience: if you like the charm of the 70s... Great: the great playground next door.

For Sunday breakfast for €20.80 per person. In person, the quality offered is more than manageable. Some of the rolls are so hard you can't even cut them. Fruit plate on offer was manageable and carelessly arranged. Quality of the food in the school grade system is a 3-. Definitely not repeating it so quickly.

I wouldn't recommend it for larger celebrations... my daughter's baptism and first birthday were celebrated at Schneider's house in Rahden. Despite a detailed discussion, the meal was not complete/as agreed. As a customer, you are ultimately the one who probably didn't communicate it beforehand or the kitchen "supposedly" didn't have this information. Funny, you could then send the bill with all the dishes and comments listed. When it comes to paying the bill, you end up running behind. I wonder who does what job here.

Yesterday my mother celebrated her birthday, great food, great service and service. Class.

Uncomfortable like in a hall. Baked rolls were offered. The croissants were greasy and the bacon was almost raw. There was no orange juice and last but not least it was totally overcrowded, you couldn't have a normal conversation because of the volume. It's a shame, much better was hoped for.

Everything was very good, always happy again. I can only recommend it.

We sat in the hall with our group. It was just uncomfortable and cold (it was 5-7 degrees outside) My food (fire spit) arrived lukewarm and I had to return one of the pork medallions because it was almost raw. The vanilla ice cream was of rather “cheap” quality. There were 5 stones in the few cherries. Service was friendly and quick, but you could tell it was a stressful day for them. The group next to us was unpleasant. It was very loud. Too bad. 2 others in our group also had cold food or the steak was not cooked to the right level. Overall, there is still room for improvement.

Disappointing, not Schneider's level We were quite disappointed at the Christmas buffet, the food was canteen level, for example Brussels sprouts were completely overcooked, vegetables drowned in hollandaise sauce, no trace of the announced roast venison, no baked apple for dessert as announced. Pork fillet cooked to death, only the duck was convincing. The antipasti selection was meager. And those who were vegetarians were allowed to eat the side dishes. That doesn't fit.

I rate the Sunday breakfast buffet alone here: Unfortunately there are only baked rolls. The baked bread, from which you can cut slices yourself, is good. The buffet offers a standard selection, where at first glance everything is there, but for the price there are small special things missing that you can get elsewhere, such as antipasti, sliced ​​peppers, pickles or even one or two special slices of cheese Varieties than just the standard wholesale pack. There is definitely room for improvement in this regard. Absolutely perfect and attentive, however, was the service, always on the ball with clearing and refilling both at the buffet and at the table, something you rarely experience. The sanitary facilities are perfectly clean, but the atmosphere in the hall is a bit plain.

Unfortunately a star deducted because our reservation couldn't be found and we had to sit in the ballroom instead of the restaurant. It was very noisy there due to children and the atmosphere of a cozy restaurant where four people go for a nice evening was simply not there. We have on October 31st. had a funeral service in the museum courtyard. First of all, a huge compliment and thanks to Denise and her team! Denise gave us great advice right from the start, found a spontaneous appointment for us and also implemented our requested changes on site at short notice. Unfortunately, the friendliness and warmth that we were shown is not something we can take for granted these days. Thanks! The food was delicious from the soup to the main course! The location is clean and cozy.

The four of us were in the restaurant yesterday at 7 p.m. and we all enjoyed the 10 euro anniversary plate. The food was great. Handmade breaded schnitzel with side dishes... and special requests were even taken into account. Nice atmosphere and very friendly and attentive service. After 20 minutes we had the food... TOP

Waited a long time, the food was subpar.

The grill plate is a disgrace! Not worth €30. The tiny pieces of meat were cooked through 3 times and totally tough. The cordonbleu is frozen (recognizable by its shape) and the grilled vegetables were soaked in oil. Don't eat there again.

Disappointed and ruined Sunday evening. Waited longer than 1.5 hours for the food and received unseasoned, lukewarm food where the herb butter and salad were missing from the grill plate, sorry but for €30 I expected something better.

Worst meal this year. Cold and different as described. Tomato chili sauce was a canned gypsy sauce and fries were almost cold. New fries arrived, but in such an unfriendly way that you lose your desire to eat. And that after more than 1 1/4 hours of waiting. Never again.

Great location, both indoors and outdoors. Great, attentive staff. I would describe the food as system gastronomy without a highlight. The will was there, but somewhat crudely implemented without any particular taste or subtlety. Aioli works differently than mayo mixture with herbs, schnitzel much too thick, steak a bit tough, but lots of fries and croquettes. Too little dressing on the salad (as we see in all Schneiders locations). We miss the individual taste experience, you feel a bit reminiscent of canteen food - but for many other guests it was fine.

The best thing was the ambience. Everything was clean and in good condition. What was difficult was the price-performance ratio of the food. Unfortunately that didn't fit at all. There were bagged ingredients for the salad and, to top it off, a spoonful of canned pea and corn mixture. Difficult for just under 14 euros. The other salad had two chicken chunks instead of chicken strips. Since there was no service I can only give this one star. If there had been a bucket of rags somewhere I would have wiped the table and given it two stars :-). In summary, unfortunately a place that you only need to visit once. The playground next door is very nice for children.

The food was great, but now comes the really big criticism. no service staff, you had to write down drinks yourself and then get them yourself. You had to wait 1.5 hours for the food....(of course write it down yourself)...So I have to say that it can definitely be expanded

We have our prom on June 29th. celebrated there and it was really so great! The food was great, we all fit in the room (420 people!!) and the service was quick and attentive. Everything worked smoothly and we were even able to watch Germany make it to the quarter-finals. Really very well organized :)

The decorative lettuce leaf was wilted, the fried potatoes were not fried evenly and the schnitzel was fried very badly on one side..and there were beans between the fried potatoes that I hadn't ordered. The nice person couldn't save the evening.

I really like the atmosphere, the staff is very friendly and helpful, but unfortunately the food is not my thing. I've eaten at Schneiders three times so far, but I didn't like it. It's just poorly seasoned, if it was seasoned at all. The schnitzel I ordered last time didn't taste fresh, but like it had been thawed from the freezer.

We were seated in the hall, which unfortunately was not well heated for this time of year. The food tasted good but the sauces were cold. Portions were really too small for the price.

Were there at the beginning of January 2024, made a short-term reservation (you should do that) and didn't let the bar stool seats put you off. Nice ambience (rustic-chic), service good (not too intrusive) and food also good (rather hearty). Unfortunately, parking spaces were in short supply, but the restaurant was also well filled and the bowling alley was probably visited by a larger group. However, there are alternative parking spaces in the immediate vicinity.

Short and sweet: food was very tasty. I ordered steak, it was superb!!! My friend's wife ordered schnitzel with mushroom sauce. Boxing Day lunch buffet. Phew, that wasn't good. Some of the food was unsalted (soup) or so salty (fish) that it was almost impossible to eat. Most of the food at the buffet wasn't hot. It's a shame, that was very disappointing.

Wir waren heute Abend im neuen Museumshof. Wir hatten nicht reserviert, bekamen jedoch trotzdem einen Tisch für zwei. Getränke und Essen waren schnell ausgewählt. Einen kleinen Salat und Rumpsteak mit Pommes. Alles total lecker. Und wir waren nach ca einer Stunde Satt und hatten auch schon bezahlt. Ich kann das Restaurant nur empfehlen, aber das nächste mal mit Reservierung

Schöne Location, besonders für Eltern, da ein Großspielplatz direkt neben dem Restaurant ist. Gutes Frühstück zu akzeptablen Preis. Viel Platz, aber auch laut durch viele Menschen. Service an sich gut, aber das Restaurant ist neu und der Service muss sich noch etwas einspielen. Freundlich und bemüht. In Summe aber angenehm und empfehlenswert. Wer mit Auto kommt, findet viel Parkplatz. Und wer Kultur will, findet nur einem Steinwurf entfernt ein kleines Museumsdorf und eine Burgruine.

Die Location ist schön und der Service war exzellent. Leider war das Essen nur mittelklasse und wenig gewürzt. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis für die Speisen entsprach leider nicht unseren Erwartungen.

Kurzentschlossen haben wir telefonisch aufs Band gesprochen eine Tisch reserviert. Dieses wurde mit einem Rückruf bestätigt. Wir waren mit Freunden zum Essen, es hat uns sehr gut gefallen: ein toller Platz, super Service und schnelle Bedienung. Wir werden wiederkommen

Das neue Schneiders ist super. Die Bedienungen sind sehr freundlich. Der Biergarten ist der Hammer. Und das Wichtigste: Das Essen ist sehr lecker und der Preis ist angemessen.

Super leckeres Essen. Obwohl im Gastraum alles reserviert war und wir, weil wir die Nacht auf dem Wohnmobilstellplatz stehen, nicht reserviert haben, durften wir im großen Saal Platz nehmen und wurden sehr zügig bedient. Sehr nette Bedienung, sehr flott und das Essen sehr lecker. Auch das Ambiente total schön. Sollten wir Mal wieder in der Gegend sein, kommen wir auf alle Fälle wieder.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Sonnenplatz direkt an der Theke. Personal sehr freundlich. Die Selbstbedienung klappt super, aber sollte irgendwie besser präsentiert werden, eventuell ein Schild am Eingang oder direkt auf der Speiekarte am Tisch. Unser Essen, Schnitzel mit Bratkartoffeln sowie ein Flammkuchen aus dem Elsass, kam flott auf den Tisch (man musste es nicht selber holen) und war sehr lecker. Preise sind angemessen.

Ganz ok, Kuchen selbst Bedienung, war nicht überzeugend, nur 4 Sorten. Sind wieder gegangen.

Das Personal gibt sich sehr viel Mühe und ist sehr Nett. Lokalität auch i.O. Das Essen ist zwar gut, die Menge ist grenzwertig und es ist völlig überteuert. Wir waren 5 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder (Kinderteller). Da sollte man dran arbeiten ansonsten machen die nicht lange.

Preis/Leistungsverhältnis passt meiner Meinung nicht so ganz, für ein eher mittelklassiges Essen hohe Preise. Einiges lief nicht rund, ein Essen wurde lang vor den anderen geliefert, es fehlte Dressing am Salat, lange Wartezeiten es war aber auch viel los. Dennoch erwarte ich bei diesen Preisen mehr.

heute zum ersten mal dagewesen. War richtig gut besucht. Wir mussten zwar etwas auf unser essen warten, aber wir haben ja gesehen das viel los war und wenn ich essen gehe bringe ich in der regel etwas zeit mit und bin nicht auf der flucht!! und gerade in der anfangszeit einer neueröffnung sollte man verständnis dafür haben! Trotz längerer wartezeit waren wir sehr zufrieden. Der service war trotzdem super freundlich und hat einen tollen job gemacht. Also wir kommen definitiv wieder!!!

Es ist noch in den Anfängen. Aber es macht alles in allem einen guten Eindruck. Am Essen fehlte für uns etwas Gewürz. Die Bratkartoffeln könnten besser sein. Getränke gepflegt , wir gehen nochmal hin.

Ein sehr schönes Lokal am Wohnmobil Stellplatz. Obwohl dieses sehr voll war hatten Sie dennoch ein Platz für uns. Aber auch die Bestellungen kamen zeitnah an den Platz. Auch jeder Extrawunsch wurde erfüllt. Selbst die Portion zum mitnehmen wurde uns fürs Wohnmobil auf Tellern mitgegeben.

Haben heute einen schönen Abend dort verbracht das Essen top Service sehr gut natürlich hat es ein wenig gedauert aber man muss dem Team auch ein wenig Zeit geben um sich zu finden wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder Danke für den schönen Abend bei euch
