It's a shame that you get rushed through so quickly. It's incredibly busy, and the waiters are busy bees yet extremely friendly. The food was great. I'd gladly go back.

The tuna pizza is very good, especially the fruity tomato sauce. The crust is fluffy and truly delicious. The truffle pizza didn't have enough truffle flavor for us and was rather average. The atmosphere is super cozy and authentic, and the service was super friendly!

Best Pizza in Hamburg. No question and no doubt.

Spaccaforno is a fantastic pizzeria with authentic Neapolitan pizzas and creative toppings. The staff is extremely friendly and creates a pleasant atmosphere. We were lucky enough to sit right in front of the pizza counter and watch the pizza makers prepare it - a real experience! It was fun to see how much passion the pizzas are made with. In terms of taste, the pizza was excellent: the dough was airy, light and had just the right mix of crunch and softness. The ingredients were fresh and harmonized perfectly with each other. The portion size was also well-balanced, so that you were pleasantly full after eating. The prices are absolutely fair for the quality you get. Overall, a great experience – if you love real Neapolitan pizza, this is the place for you!

Everything was very delicious but in the end they practically kicked us out of the table because they had a reservation so we had to leave, I understand the point of reservations but it's better not to offer the months if they already have them reserved, in the end I couldn't finish the beer because of the pressure

one of the best pizzas I’ve had in a while!!! the dough amazing, the crust. We got the one with pear and gorgonzola which was a perfect combination. The one with homemade sausages and fresh truffles was also amazing. Very worth a visit!!

The pizza tastes really delicious, unfortunately I also have to say that the pizza had different shapes and was therefore somehow “too small”. It's just too expensive for that... Not sure if I'll go again...

Spaccaforno is a real gem in Hamburg! The Steinhofen pizza is simply unbeatable – crispy dough, high-quality ingredients and perfect taste. We were with you for the first time today after I saw the video with Kemal Üres 😅 and since it's not far from us, we had to try it out spontaneously. Unfortunately the store was full or reserved. My little one was very disappointed because she really wanted to eat pizza there, so we decided to sit/eat outside even though it was cold. The order didn't take long, the service was very friendly and, most importantly, the pizzas were delicious 😋 Even though it was very cold outside, the visit was worth it 🤗

Pizza is solid. But with Volt 19 euros for a perfectly normal pizza - it's too expensive. 14 euros would be ok. In my opinion, way overhyped and not a great culinary experience.

The pizza was delicious and the staff was also very friendly. It's a shame that the store in Winterhude is so small, it was a bit of a drag because you were sitting right at the entrance. But the Pizza Diavola and the Tuna Pizza were very, very tasty.

We ordered 4 pizzas. We ordered these through Volt and every single one was collapsed and there was hardly any topping left on the pizza (which ultimately has nothing to do with the restaurant) - but it was also bad. 4/4 were burnt & one pizza box had a small fly in it. I would like to add pictures, unfortunately this is not possible. We were very disappointed and the food was really inedible.

A must-visit spot for pizza lovers!

This is by far one of the best pizzas I’ve had in such a long time. It’s the closest you can get to Italy without leaving Hamburg. Saying the food was good would be an understatement. From the antipasti to the main course, nothing disappoints. Just make sure to book a table in advance, as it’s quite popular and usually packed. Kudos to our waiter, Carlos, who took excellent care of our party. Tips for your pizza selection: go with the Capriccioso. You won’t regret it.

Normally the Spaccafornos are one of my favorite restaurants in Hamburg, because the pizza is particularly tasty and the ambience and service have always been convincing. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with my visit to the "new" or expanded restaurant in Winterhude. Immediately upon placement, despite having a reservation, you will be informed that you only have 1.5 hours and will soon be asked to pay. In addition, the tables are so close together that you are essentially sitting at the same table with your neighbor. Unfortunately, the staff was also stressed and not very friendly. But now to the most important thing, the pizzas...unfortunately not convincing this time either, very different sizes, baked to different degrees and only ok in taste. It's a shame, I'll refrain from visiting for now and hope to notice an improvement next time.

I was there with my wife and the new shop on the corner really looks nice from the outside. Unfortunately the food we were served was a disappointment. My wife could only eat half of her pizza and when we asked the waiter about it he showed no interest and said it wasn't his fault. Now we are both at home and struggling with stomach problems and diarrhea. AND NONE OF THAT IS A LIE!

Food was delicious. Service was unfriendly. I wanted to take half of my pizza home with me, which I asked the waitress. This was then thrown away by the staff and unfortunately we were not accommodated. In the end I paid €20 for half a pizza.

Nice little new shop in Winterhude. Friendly and committed service. We had the pizza Diavolo and Napolitana. The dough was too limp for me and the tomato sauce on the Napolitana tasted like a simple ready-made sauce. Unfortunately it had little to do with a delicious pizza from Napoli, where I was able to make it myself and have been looking for a really tasty pizza in Hamburg ever since....

We were looking for a pizzeria and came across this restaurant because of the good reviews. The pizzas are recommended, the atmosphere is “different” than other pizzerias, you can also sit directly at the window to watch people pass by or sit directly at the counter. Recommended!

Simply the best pizza! We come from Hanover and it is clear to us that we go out for pizza in Hamburg when we are nearby..

I visited the restaurant for the first time in the spring of 2024 and loved it - so loved it that I decided to come back on a Saturday evening. I tried to reserve a table on Thursday, but there were only seats at the counter. We quickly decided against making a reservation and asked if we could come by spontaneously without waiting. We were kindly told that this was possible. We then entered the new part of the restaurant on the street corner with anticipation. But unfortunately we were initially completely ignored there. After a short wait, a waitress came from outside and greeted us, but without any warmth. We explained that we had come without a reservation and were willing to wait for a table. The answer was surprisingly unfriendly: “Today there is no space inside, no chance.” This rejection caught us completely off guard, before we could even explain what exactly we wanted – a table, inside or outside, even with a waiting time. But it seemed as if they didn't even want to give us the opportunity to express our wishes. A senior waitress eventually took over the conversation, but she didn't seem interested in welcoming us as guests either. She suggested we go to the “backup branch,” as if it were just a sort of closet for less desirable guests. We felt like annoying remnants that should be sent somewhere else - anything but welcome. The feeling of being valued was completely missing. Eventually we found space in the original branch, but even there the disappointment remained. The quality of the food was far from what I remembered, although still edible. Only a young waitress managed to bring some positivity with her friendly manner for a short time. Conclusion: The atmosphere and the behavior of the staff lacked any hospitality, and the quality of the food no longer met the standard of my first visit. It's a shame - a big difference from what I was hoping for. Unfortunately I cannot recommend the restaurant. !!! Response to response from the owner!!! : Thank you for your feedback, even if it unfortunately only disappointed us even more. Since we have no way to respond directly to your response here, all we can do is post a new comment - which only adds to the frustration with our experience. Despite having a reservation (for 2 people), we had to wait outside for almost 30 minutes. Once we had our place, things went relatively quickly. Pizza was tasty but not exceptional either. Staff very nice and accommodating. There are no vegan pizzas, but if desired, the vegetarian pizza can be made without cheese.

We had a wonderful evening at this Italian restaurant yesterday! The atmosphere was cozy and we had a nice place where we immediately felt at home. The pizza was simply outstanding – crispy, fluffy base, fresh ingredients and perfectly seasoned. The wine was also a real treat and went wonderfully with the food. The service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. We will definitely be back and can only recommend this Italian restaurant to everyone!

First of all: The pizzas taste good and are filling. However, when it comes to pricing and service, we are anything but enthusiastic. I ordered a pizza, of which I'm unfortunately not allowed to eat all of the ingredients at the moment, so I canceled everything except the mortadella from the pizza. In the end, however, the regular price was the same on the invoice. Unfortunately, €22 for a pizza with cheese base and mortadella is very excessive and as a service person you really should have collected an individual price. We were a group of 6 people and ordered the normal bread as a “starter” to “put in the middle”. A plate came with 5 slices of bread… Bit bad for 6 guests. This could have been pointed out when ordering, then we would have ordered two portions straight away. We had a birthday child with us and mentioned this right at the beginning. The entire time there wasn't even a little attention from the restaurant. Only when we spoke to our waitress again after the meal did we get the offer that we could order the tiramisu on our own account and the restaurant would put a candle on top for free... Wow. We are used to it differently from other restaurants. Unfortunately, we probably won't come back, even though we live nearby.

This afternoon I tried the “best pizza” in Hamburg for the first time. Besides me, a couple was already eating. Otherwise there were 5 people present who were talking loudly. Unfortunately, I missed the pizza maker and asked for my order after about 20 minutes. I was told that she was just getting refrigerators delivered. After half an hour my Pizza Cotta Funghi was in front of me. I was disappointed that the "best pizza in Hamburg" was only topped with small canned/jar mushrooms. For €15 the surface could be of better quality. I will now continue to search for the “best pizza in Hamburg”. 🤔

Food very tasty! The pizza maker was very nice and caring, especially when we wanted to order and the waiter didn't come. We were immediately informed of our limited time of 1.5 hours (which is okay) but then no one came to take our bill for 30 minutes and then we were told to pay at the counter, which was a bit unfortunate. The seat was by the pizza oven and there was a window behind us, which was simply closed without asking. Unfortunately there was no cloakroom. The waiter was kind enough to make room for a wine box. So pizza was very tasty, service was inconsistent, atmosphere could have been more comfortable.

I've been to Spaccaforno twice so far, once in the smaller old shop and once in the new one on the corner opposite Gallo Nero. We had reservations every time, the first time our reservation was forgotten and we were told to leave again. We then went to the owner's dad's shop, Gallo Nero. The second time we had to stand in line. After an hour (!!!!) of waiting despite a reservation, we were seated and allowed to order. We then had to wait another 30 minutes to place our order and then another hour for the pizza to arrive. The food was there 2.5 hours after the reserved time. There's nothing wrong with the pizza, I think it's really tasty. The dessert is a bit small for its price but also delicious. You can't complain about drinks either. The service was really horrible. Very long waiting times and the staff seemed very overwhelmed. It's really okay to get wrong food, but the friendliness should be there. The store is nicely decorated, but you can tell how as many people as possible were crammed into the store. Everything is very tight and loud. Not very good for conversation. Overall I was really disappointed. There are so many great reviews, but with such service and the long wait despite a reservation, I will no longer visit Nina and her father's chain. I can only warmly recommend Dad's shop, Gallo Nero.

Had a Margherita pizza, here to try it out. The Margherita was ok, but nothing more. The price of €12 is simply too much for what you get. This could not be compared to an original Neapolitan pizza. But despite everything, finding better pizza in Winterhude is not easy at the moment.

Unfortunately, the pizza has nothing of the original in Napoli. It's mushy and you can't eat it with your hands. Unfortunately it also tastes the same. The girls in the store are very attentive and friendly.

I have two different opinions about this pizzeria. The food is great, very tasty pizzas at a good price, I can't complain. The service is nice. Unfortunately I still only have to give it three stars because of two things that bothered me. In total you only have 1.5 hours to sit in the evening, after which you are asked to leave. We waited almost 50 minutes for our pizzas, of course it can be busy and I understand if many people order from home, but local customers should have priority. We waited a long time for our order and still had to give up the table, which I personally didn't like and deducted one point. In addition, you sit inside with a catastrophic background noise. It's extremely loud and you can no longer understand your own thoughts. So you can only sit outside. Would recommend for takeaway but only on site if conditionally.

One of the best Neapolitan pizzas in Hamburg! In the small but charming restaurant you can watch your pizza being prepared. The pizzas are very tasty and in my opinion the Margarita Deluxe and the vegetarian ones are particularly recommended. !Maybe there will also be a vegan pizza on offer in the future! The wine is also very tasty. There is seating both inside and outside. In any case, you should reserve a table here if you want to go. The service was very friendly and accommodating. Payment is possible by card and cash.

Really tasty pizza. Eating on site is a bit uncomfortable. Too much hustle and bustle with too many people in a small space and delivery drivers constantly going back and forth. Of course it doesn't take away from the taste of the pizza.

The store is super cute, both outside and inside in the front! The fact that it's a bit crowded makes it more comfortable for me. The service is very nice, but you have to ask more often and everything takes a little longer, which is probably simply due to the high frequency of guests and orders. In 9 out of 10 cases the pizza is super tasty, once I found it to be a bit too thin, but still very tasty!

Of course, when looking for the best pizza, a visit to Spaccaforno couldn't be missed. Not least because of the renewed placement of the 50TopPizza in the Pizzerie Eccellenti category, as well as the review by Holle, I had to test what was on offer. This branch in Winterhude is relatively small. The front area primarily consists of the open kitchen, as well as a few bar-like seats with a perfect view of the oven. Past the checkout you come to the back of the restaurant with more seats. The spaces outside the door are always comfortable thanks to heaters and a roof. As usual, a Margherita was ordered for the pizza for comparison, as well as another, in this case the daily Vegetariana. First of all I have to say that Spaccaforno definitely deserves its 5 stars. The pizza is very tasty and well topped - not too much, not too little. The edge has decent roasted flavors on some sides without tasting too burnt or anything like that. The tomato sauce and the fior di latte taste very good together and combine in a fruity, fresh way. The dough is nice and fluffy without being too doughy. For my personal taste, the dough itself could be a little more flavorful. Unfortunately, this is probably due to the Caputo flour, as it doesn't develop the strongest aroma for me. I would also add a small pinch of salt. But that's my personal taste and, as described at the beginning, "complaining at a high level". In conclusion, I can unreservedly recommend Spaccaforno to every fan of Neapolitan pizza!

Extremely small shop. Service wafe. very young ladies who seemed quite out of sorts. Very hectic, narrow and bustling. Pizza itself is good. But the fior di latte was just thrown in heaps in the middle of the pizza so that I just had a big slab of slightly melted cheese.

The dough is really good and so are the ingredients. There was just way too much cheese for us, so we were still full of it the next day and haven't gone back yet. I never thought you could actually put too much cheese on a pizza. Too well-intentioned for us...

Great pizzas, it's not for nothing that two awards are presented right at the entrance: TOP50 PIZZA EUROPA 2023 and TOP Restaurant 2024. You can watch how Pizzaiola puts together the delicacies. The pizzas are great, the price-performance ratio is good. The atmosphere is uncomplicated, young and happy. We felt very comfortable. 100% recommendation!

No recommendation! I am very disappointed to write such a review about a Neapolitan pizzeria in Winterhude. First our reservation was not found. Ordered pizza ham, unfortunately it came without delivery, was corrected by putting cold baked ham on the pizza, brought to the table without apology and without comment. We would have liked to have had more drinks, but no service came. Then we had to get up immediately because the table was only half reserved and we had already waited 5 minutes. were over time. I really enjoy my time with friends, but unfortunately NOT HERE ANYMORE!! Not recommended!

In our opinion, both pizzas were poorly baked, mostly black on the outside (bottom and edge) and sometimes too soft on the inside. We didn't communicate this immediately, only when paying. Answer: Why we didn't get in touch, they would have been happy to help us. That was a mistake on our part.

Probably the best pizza in Hamburg is baked here, in classic variations, the dough is perfect and wonderfully prepared.

Pepperoni pizza looked good. Unfortunately it wasn't crispy and the salami came in strips and unfortunately wasn't to my liking at all. The dough was totally wobbly and mixed with the mozzarella to form a paste. For around 17 euros with a small cola, I would have expected more. It's widely advertised outside that it has the best pizza there, but you can only be happy that there are even better pizzas just a few doors away. There are these self-bought awards for the supposedly best pizza hanging everywhere in the store. That's a bit embarrassing.
