Great food, friendly service, highly recommended

Compared to our other vegan restaurant visits, it's not very special. A classic vegan, Vietnamese restaurant, menu rather complicated, no unusual taste, service was okay. We didn't have the feeling that there were really as many seats reserved as claimed and it was more of a marketing strategy. Despite everything, you can't complain about the food. Was delicious.

The food here is really great! Good selection, good seasoning and usually it's pretty quick. The cocktails are also a clear recommendation! Only one thing is an absolute no-go: no card payment.

Nice restaurant with Vietnamese food. Elegant interior. You can communicate with the staff in English. We ordered the dishes at the same time, but received them at different times. Everything was beautifully presented. The dishes were very well seasoned, balanced and very tasty. Portions could have been a little bigger. The downside is that you can't pay by card, we had to calculate the bill ourselves and it was a bit confusing. But overall it's worth stopping by.

Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio here is absolutely not right :( the curry just tastes creamy, the seitan is in tiny thin strips, the fried dumplings have hardly any content and everything tastes the same somehow, could also be additives. Unfortunately, I couldn't tolerate the food at all and is very heavy on the stomach for the quality - there are a lot of better addresses in Berlin.

Very tasty food. Terrible service, our drinks were offered to us when we had already finished our main course, despite our message "we want numbers" they didn't respond. When we got to the counter, the bill had to be adjusted because of the drinks. Then, if the amount was 50 euros, a tip of 4.20 was taken until we said that we wouldn't leave a tip because of the poor service.

We met with friends at this restaurant today. We ordered two menus, and at the end of the meal, the waiter brought us two desserts. We assumed in good faith that they were part of the menus and ate them. However, when it came time to pay, it turned out that the waiter had brought us the desserts by mistake—they were intended for another table. Instead of admitting their error, they started demanding that we pay, accusing us of "not reading the menu" and throwing around phrases like, "Actually, it's customary to pay for what you've eaten." This argument dragged on for a full three minutes! While anyone can make a mistake, being treated with such rudeness and disrespect is something I have never experienced before in restaurants of this price range. In the end, the mood was completely ruined by this exchange, and our meeting was spoiled. I cannot recommend this place to anyone and feel deeply disappointed and saddened by the experience.

Nos reunimos con amigos en este restaurante hoy. Pedimos dos menús fijos, y al final de la comida, el camarero nos trajo dos postres. Supusimos de buena fe que formaban parte del menú y nos los comimos. Sin embargo, cuando llegó el momento de pagar, resultó que el camarero nos había traído los postres por error, estaban destinados a otra mesa. En lugar de admitir su error, comenzaron a exigir que pagáramos, acusándonos de "no leer el menú" y lanzando frases como: "En realidad, es costumbre pagar por lo que has comido. " ¡Este argumento se prolongó durante tres minutos! Si bien cualquiera puede equivocarse, ser tratado con tanta grosería e irrespeto es algo que nunca antes había experimentado en restaurantes de este rango de precios. Al final, los ánimos quedaron completamente arruinados por este intercambio, y nuestra reunión quedó arruinada. No puedo recomendar este lugar a nadie y me siento profundamente decepcionado y triste por la experiencia.

The curry here is really delicious :) It tastes a bit like corn soup, but is addictive. A place I go to often

For a one-time experience, maybe it is ok, but I would not go there twice. Overall, the food it feels like this semi preparated food that you only warm up and have lots of chemicals. The taste is even bland and even very rich with some weird aroma. Everything is overprocessed food. You don't experience the freshness of the ingredients, maybe they don'tuse quality products, or maybe I expect too much from a vegetarian restaurant... For one time, experience is ok, but I would not recommend it.

Incredibly long waiting time when ordering. Food came within 8 minutes and before the drinks? An order was forgotten but delivered quickly. Paying via the app is very complicated.

Our table was given away when we went to get cash because you can't pay by card in the restaurant! Very disappointing, the staff in particular behaved very arrogantly and were not solution-oriented. It didn't matter to them that they would lose us as repeat customers.

Super cozy and delicious Asian vegan tapas restaurant! We were both deeply impressed with the quality (and price) of the food and this left us talking about the lemon grass tofu the whole night. Additionally, the atmosphere and service were both excellent and we had an amazing experience here, recommend 10/10!

Best vegan Vietnamese in Berlin

Increíble primera parada en Berlín! Teníamos el plato de fideos soba con seitán y tofu. El sabor era increíble. También pedimos los rollos de primavera. Todo es vegano, lo cual nos encanta y sin duda volvería de nuevo! El servicio era genial también!

A typical Mitte restaurant that is overpriced and sells one-size-fits-all food. Curry is way too sweet Not recommended

A really nice little vegan Vietnamese restaurant in the middle of Berlin. The food was prepared quickly and was of very good quality. Nice ambience with stylish, understated decoration 😊 The only criticism: I honestly don't think offering card payment is that contemporary anymore for a restaurant in the center of Berlin. Maybe that will change soon.

Favorite vegan restaurant in Berlin

AMAZING. We shared the Menu IV for two people. Lots of delicious food. I couldn't decide what to eat first or what to save for last. It was perfect.

My family and I spent a week in Berlin during the summer, and we ate at Soy 3-4 times. It's my absolute favourite restaurant in Berlin that I've tried so far. The food is very well made and tastes amazing and the restaurant has a nice and welcoming atmosphere. I ordered the same food every time, number 21 and 24. I really recommend Soy for anyone looking for a vegan place, or just good food in general!

Service is very discriminatory between Vietnamese and foreigners. I went with two Vietnamese friends, sat down and waited for more than 10 minutes but no waiter came to give me the Menu. I think they're busy ok. But the three Western guests sitting behind them brought out the Menu for them. So my wife and I got up and left.

Service was very quick and friendly even though it was very busy. If you're slightly hungry, I can recommend the summer rolls and the mint shake with them is super refreshing.

Very tasty selection of tapas. We were there for several hours and really enjoyed it. The service is a bit unfriendly, but the food is still highly recommended.

The food was average. You can find so much tastier food just 50 metres from this location. The service was super slow, we had to ask to be served. Strange feeling when there is more staff than customers but staff seem to have more important things to do. There was a group sitting in the terrace and smoking weed while we ate. Not really our scene in dinner setting so we will definitely not return.

The service is excellent, nice place, generous portions, fair prices. There's only one point which was important for us. Being Vietnamese food, we were expecting some hot spiciness, I was of course not expecting hot like Thai or Ethiopian but to feel something at least. Well, we ordered the dishes that were tagged as very spicy but we were disappointed, I asked the waiter and he said, it's because is "European" spicy, but I have to say that I've tried other places that lower the level to "European" spicy and compared to that this was nearly level zero. We got a little pot with some extra hot stuff but even this was also very bland, more like tomato with little bit of pepper. Except for this detail, this place is great, just next time I will come with my own bottle of chili pepper.

Be sure to try the TOFU SOT CHUA CAY (very spicy and delicious). Unfortunately, the portion has now become noticeably smaller, so that plain rice remains - hence a star deduction. Reservations are recommended, especially in the evenings. The service is quick and attentive.

There is not only vegan food here, but also *gluten-free* offers. Which isn't available often, it's sometimes super difficult to find something and you often have to ask or leave something out so that it's gluten-free. Otherwise the service was very nice, the prices were good and the food was delicious!! I will definitely come back!

My absolute favorite vegan restaurant in Berlin! Unfortunately, they changed the menu some time ago and removed the delicious strawberry lemonade from the menu. Otherwise, I can recommend the fried glass noodles with various mushrooms and the baked wontons. The rice pudding dessert is also delicious. I always enjoy coming here. In summer you can sit outside perfectly.

As always, super tasty, it's relatively loud because it echoes a bit (so maybe earplugs if you like it quieter) but it's always worth a visit 🖤🖤🖤
