As a passionate meat eater, I just wanted to get involved in the whole topic and test it out. It definitely tasted good, I have to say. In the end you just make the comparison, I think someone who lives a vegetarian or vegan lifestyle will definitely get their money's worth here, I'm sure. For me there was something missing here and there in terms of taste, which isn't that easy to replace. The conditions were very friendly and the store was, I would say, spartan. I wouldn't come again now but my vegetarian companion was very enthusiastic.

It was empty when we arrived and I couldn’t understand why (I think it’s a hidden gem) because the food was delicious! Prices were super reasonable, especially for a city and the staff were lovely. A great spot for vegans in Berlin!

10/10 food! So delicious, that I had to stop myself from ordering more. Prices are reasonable for the very high quality of the food. The taste is very original and surely something to remember. The atmosphere might be important for some people going out to eat. Here you will forget about it, because the food makes you daydream! Bathrooms are available and pretty clean.

I ordered summerrolls and a curry. Summerrolls are specifically listed in the menu as "starters". So I was disappointed that less than a minute after I received my "starter" my curry arrived. I would like to eat my starter (5-10 minutes) and THEN receive my main course. Your way the curry was cold by the time I'd finished my starter. I pointed this out to the staff, and they couldn't see the issue. Fair enough if thats a system you insist on. But I will not return.

Very friendly people and delicious food! They offer great variety in multiple sizes and combinations. The salad (Cucumber - Seaweed) in the picture is a small portion. I'd order a bigger portion next time because it was super tasty 😋

Fantastic food in such an inconspicuous place! Large portions, you can really eat yourself up. Unique flavors, prepared with heart and a smile on your face. Fresh avocado, pineapple or mango, everything according to the menu. The structure of the duck - perfect - soft inside and crispy on the outside, this taste will stay with me forever ❤️ My curry was flawless, my companion was also delighted. I recommend it to everyone with a clear conscience. Go and eat these delicacies 🤤

Ļoti jauka vieta, kur paēst sātīgu maltīti. Lai gan bija daudz cilvēku, uzgaidījām vien divas minūtes. Apkalpošana ātra un laipna. Cenas demokrātiskas. Ēdiens garšīgs. Vegāniem iespēja izvēlēties, ko sirds kāro. Mang lassi bija ļoti garšīgs. Vienīgi apmeklētāji ļoti skaļi sarunājās un telpās bija pavēss.

Great lemongrass tofu, fried spring rolls, lassi and ginger lime drinks. Fast service, friendly, inexpensive, large servings, very fresh and tasty. Was a little loud and cold but that was just the time of day we were there, I think.

Nicht gerade ein romantisches „Wohlfühlsitzerlebnis“, aber dafür frisches, leckeres und vielfältiges südostasiatisches, vegetarisches Essen. Auch die Portionen sind erfreulich und man muss nicht hungrig gehen. Sehr attraktives Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis, dh. es ist sehr günstig für das, was man bekommt. Kleineres Manko (neben der Einrichtung) ist, dass es die (umfassende) Speisekarte nicht online gibt und dass die Getränke-Bestellung aufgrund von Sprachschwierigkeiten nicht funktioniert hat. Weil uns das Essen und die Freundlichkeit des Personals derart überzeugt haben, kommen wir gerne wieder.

Das vegetarische / vegane Essen ist leider sehr bescheiden, die Fleischimitate (Ente, Huhn) überzeugen nicht. Es gibt aufgrund vieler besserer vietnamesischer Restaurants in Berlin, keinen überzeugenden Grund für dieses Restaurant - zumal die Einrichtung sehr schlicht und ungemütlich ist. Vielleicht eignet sich dieses Restaurant als Schnellimbiss zur Mittagszeit, nicht jedoch für einen gemütlichen Abend.

Das beste asiatische Essen, was ich bisher hatte. Das Lokal ist klein aber fein, mit einer ruhigen Atmosphäre, welche im Zusammenspiel mit dem recht kargen Ambiente zu einem entspannten und traditionellem Aufenthaltsgefühl beiträgt. Das ältere Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und spiegelt den familiären Betrieb angenehm wider. Die Karte ist recht groß und trotzdem bekommt man qualitativ gutes und authentisches Essen zu einem fairen Preis. Noch während dem Essen würde man am liebsten noch eine Portion bestellen, so lecker war es!

Die Einrichtung ist etwas lieblos und in die Jahre gekommen, aber das Essen ist frisch und gut abgestimmt. Ausschließlich vegetarische und vegane Optionen finden sich auf der Karte.

Schlichtes Lokal aber hervorragendes Essen. Es war cool, dass mein veganer Begleiter endlich mal alles von der Karte essen konnte. Und es war alles sehr lecker. Auch der eigene Tee mit Zimt und Zitrone war excellent.

Kurze Speisekarte mit nur zehn Gerichten zur Mittagszeit, aber mit verschiedenen Reis- und Nudelgerichten von Tofu bis Fake-Fleisch alles abgedeckt. Alles vegetarisch und das ist gut so! Leider auch mittags immer sehr voll und dadurch recht laut.

Ich schreibe lieber nicht wie gut Savory Chay ist, denn es ist Mittags sehr voll weil ich nicht der Einzige bin der weiß wie gut das Essen ist , und ich sehr gerne dort zu Mittag esse.

Für uns leider das schlechteste vegane Essen, das wir in Berlin hatten. Die Vorspeisen haben mit Dumplings und Wantans stark gestartet aber danach ging es steil bergab. Die Limettenlimonade war einfach nur Wasser mit ein bisschen Zucker und das für fast 5€. Das hat mich sehr geärgert. Am schlechtesten war der Hauptgang, die "Ente" war noch lecker, aber die süße Currysoße leider ungenießbar. Sehr schade.

Vegetariánská asijská restaurace v hezké čtvrti Berlína. Obsluha bohužel vůbec nestíhala, bylo zde hodně zákazníků, ale na jídlo jsme nečekali moc dlouho a vše co jsme potřebovali jsme dostali. Jídlo bylo moc dobré, měl jsem misku s omáčkou plnou různých druhů hub s rýží a bylo to moc dobré. Přátelé si objednali nudle, které byli také dobré.

Ich war hier jede Woche mit meinen Kollegen und das Essen war immer gut, aber seitdem nur noch vegane und vegetarische Gerichte angeboten werden, ist das Restaurant von unserer Liste verschwunden.

Leckeres Essen, aber zur Mittagszeit Massenabfertigung und (deshalb) relativ laut und ungemütlich.

We had an exceptional meal! The quality of the fresh herbs really set this vegan meal apart from others. Very friendly service and a very pleasant atmosphere of guests enjoying great food and conversation. The Pho was quite flavorful without the heaviness the non-vegan version has. Portions are great. We started with 1 bao which was lovely. The vegan lassis are delicious and rich.

Sometimes in life you just happen to stumble upon marvelous things. We came to Savory Chay on the evening we arrived in Berlin. And it just happened to be one of the few nearest places to our hotel that was still open and looked interesting in food offering. When it comes to food, especially asian food, if you are looking for delicious stuff, then skip the fancy looking and sounding places. Great food is made in places where all the attention goes to the making, and as such not much is left for ambience. This place is the epitomy of that. The food is just magnificently delicious, served in an appetizing way by a friendly staff. If good food is all you are looking for, then come to this little hidden gem in the heart of Berlin!

Die vegane Ente ist das absolute Highlight.

Das Essen war lecker, aber der Service schlecht. Obwohl das Restaurant leer war, musste man sehr lange warten und die Gerichte kamen mit ungefähr 10 Minuten Zeitdifferenz am Tisch an. Man hat sich als Kunde zweiter Klasse gefühlt, da die ganzen Onlinebestellungen priorisierter abgearbeitet wurden. In Summe daher kein schönes Ambiente. Empfehlung daher: Lieber bestellen und liefern lassen 😉.

Sehr lecker- vor allem die Frühlingsrollen und Wan Tans waren hervorragend. Das Mangocurry mit veganer Ente war auch sehr gut, genauso wie das Erdnuss Curry und die Glasnudelsuppe. Preislich auch völlig ok- 63€ zu dritt mit 3 Vorspeisen und 3 Hauptgängen.

Die Vegane Ente ist köstlich, komme immer hierher, wenn ich in Berlin bin.

Als Vegetarier wird es einem durch die große Auswahl fast schon schwer gemacht, sich zu entscheiden. Es war super lecker und der Service war auch sehr zu gut, genauso wie das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Kann ich nur empfehlen!

INCREDIBLE vegan and vegetarian food. Menu is wide, service is excellent and price is unbeatable. And of course, the food is amazing! I work nearby and Savory Chay is always my first choice. 💯 recommended.

We tried the wan-tan (7), udon noodles (48) and tom-yam (41), all of which were tasty and decently priced. The staff can't really speak English, but at least they accept credit card payments.

Aufgrund einer Empfehlung des Essens besuchten meine Frau und ich das Lokal in Berlin. Komplett veganes/vegetarisches asiatisches Essen ist ja leider noch nicht so verbreitet. Also das Essen war absolut hervorragend! Wir hatten "Ente" und "Hähnchen" und waren hellauf begeistert. Das Lokal selbst ist nicht das schönste und modernste aber funktional. Die Dame beim Service ist sehr nett, jedoch übersieht sie ein paar Dinge gerne. Daher kleine Abzüge! Jedoch macht das leckere Essen alles wett und daher würde ich das Restaurant auf jeden Fall jedem Veganer/Vegetarier empfehlen und allen die mal asiatische Küche fleichlos erleben möchten.

Wir haben zwei Currys zum mitnehmen bestellt und es war sehr lecker. Sowohl mit Reis als auch mit Reisnudeln zu empfehlen und für die Preise wirklich gute Portionsgrößen. Auch die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich. 👍🏼

We came to this restaurant because we were in the area and we looked for a vegan restaurant. We set and asked, just to be sure, if everything is vegan. "Alles vegane" (=everything is vegan in german). But then we saw on the menu that you can add eggs (real ones!) to certain dishes! It's super disappointing and super unfair. The food was OK. A bit bland though

The food was delicious and it made you full without getting you bloated. Loved it. The service was great, the woman who served us was really nice and pleasant. The atmosphere is really quiet and calma minute and the next, you have all this chatter and lovely people around.

Looking at the ratings I was expecting something more special. I had the curry udon, which was fine but it had an overwhelming coconut milk taste and the udon was slightly overcooked. The service was very fast. The atmosphere is cozy.

Einfache Einrichtung, leckeres Essen, nette Bedienung. Soweit ich gesehen habe alles vegetarisch, vieles vegan. Zum Beispiel veganer Mango Lassi.

Disappointing. I ordered a red curry and a glass noodle salad and both were very bland, not authentic at all. Also I'm pretty sure that some of the vegetables are not fresh but frozen, the texture of the carrots in particular was quite bad.
