Food was great and service was outstanding, staff is very friendly!

Food was tasty but very small portions for the price. Unfortunately, service was totally overwhelmed and therefore unfriendly. Drinks came after 40 minutes, food sometimes only came when asked again.

Great potential, perhaps underserved. On a Tuesday evening, extremely crowded. We had to remind people several times to share the order. Waiter friendly but a bit dense. Regardless of whether it was in DE or EN, there were always misunderstandings.

We spontaneously showed up at the restaurant and they could only place us inside, which I would also expect and understand. However, entire staff is so much occupied with serving seated tables, there is literally noone taking care of the queue building up at the door to be seated. On top, when we were told we can sit inside, we tried to ask whether we could choose our table inside and the waiter directed us back to his colleague outside who just reditected us inside. The service is a bit messy and no communication among waiters. While ordering one of the waiters told us to be patient since the waitress taking care of our table is new, which I don’t necessarily understand why. After ordering it was all fine though, we got our food quickly, the food was pretty delicious as well.

Food + service great, prices reasonable and everything very centrally located. There were four of us and we sat outside. The waiter was extremely attentive (but not intrusive) and explained the menu to us in detail and nicely and gave us recommendations. We had a very tasty eggplant salad as a starter and stuffed zucchini. We found the house bread very good. Sea bass, chicken and pork souvlaki, mousaka...everything was delicious. Only the mousaka could have been hotter. There was nothing more to complain about.

The food and drinks tasted excellent.

I love this place and the service is good too, but every time I go there their prices keep increasing and their portions keep decreasing. Moreover most of their dishes come with no side dishes which just adds more cost. Souxé Mezé please look into your costs, they don't justify the offering

What an amazing presence of Greece in the heart of Schwabing!!! I had the best Greek salad ever. Every other meze was just perfect. Hary, who was far more than just a server/ host, made us truly feel that we were visiting his family house in Naxos. Took pride in every dish he recommended, 5 stars is not enough to express the experience. Do not cheat yourselves out of authentic Greek food and warm conversation!!

nice Greek with very good food. The portions are intended to be shared, but they are very small portions. The prices are set too high because it is nothing unusual. After the meal the table was cleared and you had to find a waitress for every drink.

Location: it is directly at Münchner Freiheit, pubic transportation is convenient, and there is a park lot next door. (5) Environment: the room designed nicely, and the atmosphere is cozy and nice. (5) Food: The meat is fresh and juice, the vegetables are tasty, the octopus is yummy too. Service: I like the people there a lot! They are all kind, nice and welcome. They are in good mood too, not all of them speak German but perfect for me. (5) The price: I think it worth for the value, 25-30 Euro of a bottle of wine has nothing to complain about. Food is well done and a fair variety of Greek specialities. The service is good, comparatively. BUT I was completely shocked that we were asked to leave because our 2h were up. So 3 ladies, €150 bill but sorry the booking is for two hours. Don't expect a cheeky ouzo with the bill or a free little desert, like in other greek places. This place is much more sophisticated...bums on seats, eat and goodby. Just saying, if you are looking for a restaurant with a punch in - punch out timer attached to it, after you have been appropriately fleeced, search no more! For me it was the first and the last time.

The restaurant is very nice and close to the subway. The menu offers a good selection of food and drinks. The owner only cares about money, not about the customers. You're only allowed to stay for two hours and the waiter keeps asking what you want to order, which is very stressful if you're not quick enough. The waiters were talking to each other in Greek and didn't know we understood them. They said that we were under-consuming (we each ordered two dishes and a glass of wine) and that we should be asked to pay and leave after the two hours. As Greeks going to a Greek restaurant it was extremely disappointing.

Overall, the food was very good, but the service was a bit mixed. In any case, a young employee was extremely nice and accommodating. Many thanks to them for the great service!

Excellent food and a cozy, pleasant atmosphere at Souxe Meze, both inside and in the outdoor dining area. The food was delicious, especially recommended: tzatziki, octopus, calamari, The service was always extremely courteous and made sure that we felt completely comfortable.

We went for dinner but although there were some tables available they offered us a small table next to the toillette. We didn't accepted the table but the only comment was "yes, please go." A serious restaurant would act in a more professional way

Samstag Abend in München und Deutschland spielt gegen Dänemark. Eigentlich gegen 21 Uhr kein Platz zu kriegen. Auch dieser 🇬🇷 innen und außen mega voll aber wir kriegen einen Platz am Tresen Hatten schon gegessen aber sah alles gut aus und Freundlichkeit und Versorgung waren top. Kommen nächstes mal zum vollen Programm.

Food, service, atmosphere - 10/10! The food is intended to be shared in smaller portions - so the principle was explained to us very friendly right at the beginning! It was simply delicious. Whether with meat, fish or vegetarian - Souxe Meze definitely has a lot to offer! We were there on Friday evening and of course we expected a bit of a wait, but luckily there was no wait at all! The drinks and food came very promptly after ordering. The service and the owner are super nice and very accommodating. All I can say about the atmosphere is that it is very tastefully decorated and the many mirrors positively enhance the light of the atmosphere! All in all, I can only say: I'll be happy to come back very soon! 😌

We were there in the evening during the week. The food is good, but not outstanding. The service was very bad. We had to wait forever for everything while the waitress had long chats with other guests. I don't have to have it, there are fewer chic and better Greek neighborhoods where it's also cheaper.

A very nice restaurant with lots of mirrors that make the room special. We were greeted a bit harshly and had to wait longer for the menus. We were able to share the food wonderfully with each other, so we were able to try a lot of things and it tasted really good.

The food was really tasty, but unfortunately the service was really bad! The store was only half full, but we were left alone by the staff for so long that we had to get up and find an employee to place our order. Even after that, we continued to be ignored, couldn't order more drinks or get anyone's attention to pay, so we ended up going to the checkout.

Great Greek in the heart of Schwabing. Went to lunch spontaneously today and were served very nicely. The lunch dishes are consistently excellent and the price/performance ratio is unbeatable. We'd be happy to come by again if we get the chance.

Favorite restaurant for Greek food in Munich

Fantastic evening here, the food was excellent and our waiter Harry was very helpful giving us the details of the menu and helping us decide.

This is my second visit, and my experience has been wonderfully memorable each time. The shared dishes are divine. Our waiter Harry was knowledgeable and friendly, helping us every step of the way. I’ll gladly recommend this Greek restaurant to any friends and family.

Good food, great Greek kitchen, but the atmosphere was somewhat off. Might try it out again since the food was great and the prices quite affordable. The portion sizes were somewhat small.

Unfortunately, the quantities served are far too small. There is often no side dish served with the main courses. Waiting time in the afternoon was far too long. No rice is served. We were disappointed.

We had reservation, and when we arrived the waiter didn't want to serve us at all, we quickly chose our food and repeatedly asked the waiter to order, but the waiter ignored us and went to serve other Germans. We waited for half hour and then had to leave.Were we treated differently because we were foreigners?This bad experience ruined our anniversary.

Great Greek location with lots of delicious dishes. Greek meze bar (tapas). There were four of us and we ordered 7 mezedes, which was completely sufficient. Prices for Munich are also ok. Nice service. Nice atmosphere. Be sure to reserve. Went on a Thursday and it was full. We were allowed to stay as long as we wanted (no time limit). We will be back.

Choosing to have a pleasant lunch at this Greek restaurant unfortunately turned out to be a mistake. We were hoping to have a good meal but had to leave after these behaviors : After we tried some dishes, the service followed the customer satisfaction policy: if we were satisfied? We received from this not welcoming Greek shop - that the customer's opinion is not only not heard but you even insult his dignity, saying and expressing with a gesture from the store management; the customer must be humble (not speak) and respect . It was really a disappointment.. From there on the shop is yours and it is offered from little to little.. PS Thank you for the bad hospitality CUSTOMER.

Facts: over an hour until the food was on the table, no order (corrected), small portion, tight space despite empty tables. The manager is pissed and always afterwards because I asked twice when my food was coming. When I pointed this out to him, he said it was just my opinion and that he didn't have to explain much to us as he was older than us and had seen too much.

I reserved weeks in advance for 3 people. Food was very good, staff stressed. After about an hour - we hadn't even eaten yet - we were informed that the table was needed and that we should (kindly) pay. Unbelievable...thank God I've never experienced anything like that. Never again! A pity!

Great place with authentic greek meze. You pay per small dish which is normally enough for two persons. Not too expensive but be aware that it is very busy in the evening and you they will kindly ask you to leave after latest 2 hours. Typical Munich time slots in restaurants

The food is good but not cheap and some main dishes come without accompaniment (€18.5 for two calamari without anything, not even bread). The food took 1h 15min to arrive due to a kitchen “error” and they did not offer us a discount or compensation drink. It seems like they have too many tables and not enough employees. It is not the first time they have made us wait so long and that is why this bad review... I don't think we will return.

The Souxe Meze is a Greek restaurant near Münchner Freiheit. Food: I actually came across the restaurant because of the good reviews, but was completely disappointed. I ordered giant beans with feta. For €17 you expect a portion that will fill you up, as you can see in the picture that wasn't the case. The taste was solid, but nothing that you couldn't recreate at home for little money. Service: The service was nice, but we had to wait a really long time for our hummus and order extra pide. You could have noticed when ordering that there was no bread. It was also strange that there was no ouzo on the house, something I always know from Greek restaurants. Ambiance: Completely overcrowded restaurant, we were seated at a small table in the middle of a passage. Conversations were hardly possible due to the volume.

The food was delicious. Good skewers and nice side dishes. Prices reasonable. On the negative side: Service quality was unfortunately poor. Placing an order takes time and until payment is possible you had to contact us three times and 15 minutes later it was finally possible. Unfortunately, the seating is far too narrow. I don't have to come again!

Here you can get delicious Greek snacks or larger dishes served in style by attentive service. the food is fresh, the wines are tasty and the selection is varied. Price performance is okay for Munich conditions.

Ottimo ristorante greco. Abbiamo preso diversi piatti e condivisi tra di noi. Tutto veramente molto buono, prodotti freschi, ben preparati ed impiattati. Ambiente grande e, quando pieno, purtroppo molto rumoroso, occorre alzare la voice per farsi sentire dai commensali, anche se nello stesso tavolo. Servizio migliorabile, purtroppo non molto attento ma pronto a chiedere la mancia ... Sottolineo i piatti che sono molto buoni e ben preparati.

Leider kein Geschmack ..alles ohne Salz.. Sehr fad.. Schade , viel zu voll und laut. Würde nicht mehr hingehen. Bedienung aber super freundlich und Beratung vorher war sehr gut.

I went there on Valentine’s Day and the place was packed. It took a while for us to receive the menu after being seated and get the food as well. I find the Mezé options quite expensive for its size, eg. 15 euros for a small eggplant with feta. Flavor-wise, it was okay. Nothing too bad or outstanding. I believe there are better Greek restaurants in Munich

Went for the first time today to this place and tried 3-4 dishes, everything was amazing. We definetly will come back to this place 🫶🏻

Everything was very good from the service to the food to the ambience. Our waiter was very friendly and took time to explain everything on the menu and give some suggestions. He mentioned how good the eggplant dip is and ended up bringing it to us on the house in addition to what we ordered. After we had already paid, we were offered a complimentary Ouzo. All in all would definitely recommend. We will definitely be coming back!

The pita bread and tzatziki are delicious! Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about the main courses on the daily menu. The portions are relatively small, expensive and the chicken was gristly. The service was generally good, although there were a few mix-ups and forgotten drinks. The ambience is nice and cozy. The mirrors can be a little confusing at first and unfortunately there are problems with the lighting so there are always differences in brightness.

I know in the summer when you sit outside in the courtyard - then it's great. Unfortunately, it's super tight and incredibly loud inside. The chairs are very uncomfortable and it kind of has a cafeteria feel. Was disappointed. But the food was delicious and the waiter was friendly and on the ball. If only come back in the summer.

We were here for a business lunch and it couldn't have been better. Our waiter Harris was excellent, very attentive and put together a great, varied menu for us. Price performance was absolutely top and the food was at the table quickly. And even with a large group you can still have a good conversation here without it being too loud. The decor is modern but not cold, on the contrary very cozy and inviting. The service is extremely professional and friendly. The individual mezes are all excellent and varied.
