The food was okay, but not as good as it was before the coronavirus pandemic. Service was nonexistent: I forgot my drink and had to move to another restaurant without any reasonable explanation. A grilled dish took almost an hour to arrive, even though the restaurant was empty. At least they gave me a free beer as an apology.

A very elegant restaurant with excellent quality, impeccable service, and exquisite dishes! The chef is very friendly and polite! The staff is very attentive. We look forward to every visit!🥳

Nice ambiance! Food Unfortunately, only mediocre. The mixed skewer only had a tiny piece of lamb on it, which was unfortunately very salty and inedible. The salad, unfortunately, tasted of nothing. The tzatziki and garlic pita, however, were very tasty!

Wonderful food, fast and friendly service. You get a very warm welcome; for me, it's the best in this region. I can give it full stars and recommend it wholeheartedly.

Everything was perfect! The food was fresh and delicious (I had the appetizers and veal liver), the service was extremely friendly, competent, and fast, and the ambiance was lovely – so, in our opinion, the full score was more than deserved.

The food was quite tasty and of good quality, though a bit overpriced. Service was friendly, but overwhelmed. The chairs in the conservatory (which is cozy) were extremely uncomfortable. The restaurant is more comfortable, but the atmosphere there is too cold and uncomfortable. Unfortunately, no complimentary ouzo—or is that only available for "our GOOD friends"?

The prices are absolutely reasonable for the quality of the food. There's always something for children, too. Der Aufenthalt im Thalassa ist seit Jahren ein Erlebnis. Wie ein Kurzurlaub auf Mykonos. Sehr freundlicher Service, perfektes Essen, tolle Auswahl griechischer Spezialitäten. Restaurantchef Michalis ist der beste Gastgeber.

We were really looking forward to a nice evening (4 people), but unfortunately, we were disappointed this time. Poor service, very long waits for the food to arrive, which was really good in terms of quality, but very reasonable for the prices. We always had to make ourselves known if we wanted a drink. Then a Campari was brought as an Aperol, which can happen sometimes. We complained, the glass was roughly placed on the table, and it was claimed that it was a Campari, which is simply not acceptable. We decided not to have dessert or any other drinks, as it was already after 9:30 and we had already been there for 3 hours. So we asked for the bill, and were asked what we wanted to drink, assuming it was on the house. We then found the drinks on the bill, but when we asked, they took them off again. The tip was very sparse, and then they actually asked if that was really all there was to it. It would be quite easy to tell the guest that we're understaffed today, that there might be delays, or that we can only serve half the guests, and they'll be completely satisfied. It's a shame, we won't be coming back and won't recommend it to anyone.

Even making the reservation online via email didn't work. No response. I then made the reservation in person. After we were seated, we waited what felt like forever for the menu. The drinks and the food also took a very long time. We were there for three hours and would have liked to have had something to drink after the aperitif. It's a shame, the food was delicious, but the waiters were unmotivated and unpleasant when glasses and food were slammed onto the table. Be careful at the curb when paying. Check the receipt carefully. There were things on it that we didn't order. And then the waiter is surprised that there was no tip, and he does so in a tone that fits the whole evening. It's a shame, this was the second attempt. There won't be a third.

The place is beautifully decorated. You're served immediately and feel like the only important guest. Guests receive the undivided attention of the staff. Even the chef often stops by to check on each table. Highly recommended. The food was fantastic anyway.

No! The benches have no backrests, so over time, guests develop back pain and have to leave the restaurant. With back pain, every meal tastes bad.

We have been guests several times and have usually been very satisfied. However, the prices are now too high in relation to the quantity and quality. Almost 15 euros for 1/2 liter of house wine is simply too much. The warm starter plate was very poor, mainly consisting of zucchini. We know we can't change anything, so we won't be visiting the restaurant anymore.

The Taramas is super good, the service was very nice, the ambience inside still has a bit of room for improvement

Very Very Shocked!! My daughter was the last to come in today and was immediately grabbed by the arm by the boss (attached picture) and didn't let go with the come-on in Greek: “Let me see how pretty you are again”!! Craziness!!! My daughter is only 14!!! And as you can tell, the boss often (funnily enough) does the waiting, where it becomes clear that he “likes” to do this! Pedo!! Never again!! Also seen today how he hit on women and even had to touch one of their hair. Incredible! Never again, just sick!😡🤬

We waited over 2 hours for our main course. The side salad was served as a starter!? The food was ok/moderate but not necessarily appropriate for the price.

We were here years ago. There is a large selection of different main courses and desserts. The portions are also quite large, only the “fine skewer plate” dish is a bit small for the price. The waiters were very friendly. The ambience is cozy, with small standing fireplaces - overall very inviting.

The ambience was really nice and stylish, but we had a very drafty place, so we were cold. However, we hadn't made a reservation beforehand and were happy that we still got a place. The food was sensationally delicious, the service was very friendly and accommodating. We'd love to come back

I've been meaning to try Thalassa for a long time since we moved to the neighborhood. It's always PACKED.I had the stuffed calamarie and they were amazing. The starter salad was really good and effort was put into it than just a pile of rocket or a tomato and lettuce. The service was attentive and the staff you could tell were real pros with waiting experience in good restaurants. They were sharp, worked as a team, were constantly communicating. The floor manager/owner came around to tables, checking in, shaking hands, etc. Haven't seen that in a long time. Highly recommended!

And the service. just one complaint. the waitress comes with the bill and we have our child who saw another child being given a lollipop by the waitress. and when she brought the bill she said our child and I want lollipop... and he doesn't even say, he's not moved to bring one. Unfortunately, the price/performance ratio is no longer consistent here. Salad for the main course consisted of a few leaves of green lettuce and some carrot. Very unloving. We were always used to it being different here. Everything tasted great, as did the service.

Good restaurant. The food is always delicious. However, the portions could be larger. Sometimes you have to wait a little longer. The prices are high. However, we always come back. You can also call and order takeaway.

We sat in the beautifully furnished porch. The food itself was very tasty. We just had to wait a really long time for it. The restaurant was normally busy (there were still seats available). Unfortunately, the warm appetizer platter was also a joke. When we asked if the 4 slices of vegetables from 2 different types of vegetables were all, we were brought something else (2 pieces). If this is the "normal" size of the appetizer plate, then price performance is subpar. The main courses were okay in size.

Had a fish platter (quite a small portion) and a kind of bifteki with fries from the daily or weekly menu. The taste of the food was ok. But I was shocked and felt like I was in a sausage shop because the “Bifteki” was served with mustard (was it a Greek mustard😂)🤦🏻‍♂️ I’ve never seen it in a Greek restaurant. Additionally ordered tzatziki for 6€😵‍💫 I have no understanding of that

The Thalassa became our regular restaurant and we recommend it 100%. We would like to say that the service from all employees and the food are unique in our city. I can't say anything about the ambience, that's for others to judge. I just hope that the plants I supply make you feel comfortable inside and out.

The scope, quality and sophistication of the dishes have noticeably decreased since the VAT increase this year. Price-performance ratio in this regard. is no longer consistent. Service and staff are still top class.

Very good Greek restaurant, I ate calamari there and it was super juicy. The atmosphere is really pleasant and quiet even though it is on a main street. There is also a large outdoor area. Very nice!!

Schade. Früher war das hier absolut top. Heute: eher muffiger Service, ein kleiner Sonderwunsch blieb unerfüllt, Dessert wurde das Falsche gebracht und dafür nicht mal entschuldigt... Essen nach wie vor dem Preis entsprechend sehr gut, aber Service / Ambiente (Richtung Eingang dauernd Zugluft) eher nicht gut. SCHADE.

Of course, since it's been our "favorite Greek" for years, we're a little biased. What we like most is that there are different rice variations for each dish and not just one standard. The wine list is well stocked and there is often an extra recommendation. The food is reasonably priced given the good quality, no cheap ingredients and no fatty meat. Late in the evening it's hard to get a seat without a reservation and it can get noisy as many Greeks also visit this restaurant. The service is courteous and unobtrusive, the landlord is a warm host, we come here specifically from the district because the quality is of a high standard and we feel very comfortable here.

Super good and varied food. Furnishings modern and comfortable. Unfortunately our waiter was terrible! No baguette was served with the starter platters. When asked, they said yes, he would bring it. When it came the appetizers were ready. Empty glasses were ignored, even the fact that you picked them up when he looked was ignored. A pity.

Was really excellent. The meat platter was very tasty and the waiters were very attentive and friendly. We will be back definitely.

I went to this restaurant for dinner for the first time a few days ago. Without a doubt the food was delicious. I ordered fish and it was fresh. The waiters are very friendly and the restaurant is beautiful. I'm removing one star across the board because the price seems high for the amount of food (I ordered shrimp with squid and there was only one shrimp). They cleared our plates at the end of dinner, but only asked us if we wanted dessert half an hour later when we finally decided to pay and leave. Even so, we are very grateful that they saved our table, despite arriving half an hour later than expected due to a setback. People talked very loudly there and it was difficult to have a conversation with my friend. I guess I would go again, but there are better Greek restaurants in Munich.

Sehr empfehlenswert! War schon ein paar Mal hier beim Essen. Sowohl die Mitarbeiter als auch das Essen ist Top. Man kann hier in Ruhe seinen Abend genießen. Obwohl wir letztes Mal mit einem Gutschein da waren und nur die Hälfte gezahlt haben, haben wir einen Tiramisu aufs Haus bekommen :) Kommen gerne wieder!

Als Fotografin habe ich bei Thalassa eine Hochzeitsfeier fotografiert und ich kann ees nur empfehlen. Alles war liebevoll gemacht, Kellner waren sehr aufmerksam, alles war bestens vorbereitet. Danke!

Wir waren da zum Sylwester eine Tisch reserviert. Person am Telefon hat eine Bauchtanz-show versprochen. Natürlich war keine da! Wieso man unehrlich mit seinem Kunden ist?

Das schöne Ambiente überzeugt durch freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung. Das Essen war durchwegs heiss und frisch und und von hoher Qualität. Die Preise sind im höheren Segment aber für die Speisen sehr angemessen. Für die Authentische Griechische Erfahrung zu empfehlen.

Waren heute hier. Essen war durchschnittlich aber dem gehobenen Preis leider nicht angemessen. Service war zwar freundlich aber nicht wirklich auf Zack, Getränke waren leer und mussten lange warten bis wir jemanden „erwischen “ um neue zu bestellen und um das Dessert erstmal bestellen zu können hat auch mindestens 15 gedauert und dann nochmal 20min bis es da war. Denke wir kommen nicht wieder.

Das Essen schmeckt schon sehr gut. Jedoch passen die Preise nicht zum Angebot. Hungrig sollte man nicht reinkommen außer dir machen 35-40 fürs Essen pro Person nichts aus. Edel hin oder her, das ist alles nur eine Fassade. Der Service ist zuvorkommend aber oft zu übereifrig und daher manchmal nervig. Wenn man sich das dritte gleiche Getränk bestellt, kann es schon vorkommen, dass man eine andere Qualität im Laufe bekommt. Wahrscheinlich in der Hoffnung, dass der Kunde das eh nicht schmeckt. Erst nach Nachfrage wurde zugegeben, dass eine andere Flasche (billigere) verwendet wurde. Erst danach wurde wieder umgestellt. Und das ist echt frech.

Wir wollen Sonntag Mittag im Thalassa essen gehen, laut Homepage war von 12 bis 14 Uhr geöffnet. Um 13 Uhr standen wir aber vor verschlossenen Türen, und die dort angeschlagenen Öffnungszeiten sahen mittags keinen Betrieb vor. Wenn man schon eine Internetseite hat, dann bitte aktuell! Also abends der 2. Versuch. Hier ging dann mit dem Service einiges schief. Eins von zwei Getränken war falsch, das Gyros kam mit Reis und nicht wie bestellt mit Pommes. Außerdem wurde eine Portion Tsatsiki gebracht, die wir nicht bestellt hatten. Die tauchte nachher auch auf der Rechnung auf, wurde dann aber wieder abgezogen. Die Fehler wurden recht schnell behoben, dennoch macht das in der Anzahl keinen guten Eindruck. Das Essen war dann gewohnt gut, die Gyros-Portion für den aufgerufenen Preis aber ziemlich klein. Die hat mein Grundschulkind problemlos alleine verspeist. Und nein, wir haben keine Kinderportion bestellt Natürlich werden wir wieder dort hingehen. Alleine um zu sehen, ob das ein Ausrutscher war.

Dies ist nach wie vor einer der besten griechischen Restaurants, falls Sie Wert auf Ambiente und exzellenten Service legen. Die authentische Küche rundet das ganze ab, zu einem perfekten Abend.

Sorry , war hier vor X-Jahren, da war ich begeistert! Aber jetzt - wir waren 2 Frauen! - ewig gewartet auf Kellner, gefühlt, dass andere Gäste hofiert wurden, hier eher nicht gewürdigt, ständig Kleinkindergeschrei/geplärre! Essen war nicht der Hit! Schade, hatte mich auf das Treffen gefreut...

Gutes griechisches Restaurant mit schönem Ambiente.

Gutes aber durchschnittliches griechisches Essen, bei dennoch gehobenen Preisen. Service freundlich, aber nicht der schnellste. Das Restaurant wird dem Anspruch, den es durch das Ambiente vermittelt nicht hundertprozentig gerecht. 1 Stern Abzug, da es einfach sehr viele andere griechische Restaurants in München gibt, ich das Thalassa mit diesen direkt vergleiche und es da ein-zwei gibt, die das noch besser können. In der Gegend jedoch sicherlich sehr zu empfehlen.

Wir haben kurzfristig einen Platz bekommen. Das Essen war gut, aber offensichtlich sollten wir möglich rasch wieder gehen...in dem Moment, in dem ich die Gabel hingelegt hatte, wurde mein Teller weggezogen...meine Begleitung hat noch gekaut und hatte keinen Teller mehr...ansonsten war vom Service nach der Bestellung nichts mehr zu sehen...keine Nachfrage wegen Nachtisch, kein obligatorischer Ouzo...man war geradezu darauf aus, dass wir den Tisch räumen und verschwinden, da andere Gäste. Auf pure Masse ausgerichtet....gerne, aber zukünftig ohne uns...

Für die aufgerufenen Preise ist das Essen eher mittelmäßig. Ebenso ist die Geräuschkulisse sehr hoch und zum Unterhalten eher nicht so gut geeignet. Salate mit fertigem Dressing standen wohl schon länger rum. Habe mich so sehr auf gute griechische Küche gefreut und wurde doch sehr entäuscht.😞

Nettes griechisches Restaurant in Trudering. Das Essen ist lecker und großzügig bemessen Portionen. Das Ambiente im Wintergarten ist ok,aber sehr laut.

Sensationell! Das Essen ist unglaublich gut und das komplette Team lebt die griechische Gastfreundlichkeit. Die Terasse/Wintergarten ist stilvoll und trotzdem gemütlich. Ein bunter Mix aus entspannten Gästen runden das perfekte Ambiente ab. Unbedingt reservieren. Wir kommen wieder!

Wir waren schon öfter (aufgrund der Nähe) hier, aber leider bleibt der Eindruck der gleiche. Gerichte mit Fleisch sind Geschmacklich gut (nicht außergewöhnlich, aber gut). Gestern hatte ich einen Hallumi Salat für 14,90E. Sehr viel Rucola, welcher in Balsamico getränkt wurde mit 3 Scheiben lauwarmen gegrillten Hallumi und 3 Scheiben sehr weiches, nicht mehr frischen Baguette mit Oliven creme. Dazu ein paar Walnüsse als Deko. Da erwarte ich für den Preis mehr (z.B. Brot getoastet)... Ein weiterer Kritikpunkt ist der Service: als ich auf Nachfrage "war gut" gesagt habe "ehrlichgesagt nicht besonders" war die Antwort "ja" - auch hier erwarte ich eine andere Reaktion. Pita (wirklich sehr gut im Geschmack) kam 10 Minuten vor dem Salat, kalt wars halt dann nicht mehr so gut... Insgesamt ist das Ambiente sehr schön, das Servicepersonal leider total überfordert und das Preis-Leistubgsverhältnis eher mau...
