Great ambience, super attentive staff, food comes very quickly and everything tastes good. The boss mega irons out small mishaps!!! Respect for the entire organization. Motorcycle parking spaces could still be designated separately 😜. We recommend and will come back.

We had made a reservation and wanted to order appetizers and main courses for four of us. The rushed waitress said straight away that they didn't have time for twice service on a Saturday evening! You can only bring everything at once! But we were lucky that we were able to order drinks more than once!

We were there for the first time on our wedding day a few days ago and were very happy when we left after more than 2 hours. There is a great atmosphere with beautiful furnishings and the service staff were also very nice and accommodating. The price is absolutely right and the portions are really big. The food was absolutely top and delicious! There is also a beautiful outdoor area and you can also walk directly along the Sieg. Cocktails were also delicious and there is a happy hour. Reserving a table online was very easy. We'll definitely be back shortly!

Unfortunately, we found that there were probably not enough staff for the number of tables that were reserved and occupied, but the service staff who were on duty were more than concerned about the well-being of the guests and did everything they could to make things right. So it's a problem of management, NOT of the forces deployed! We also remember the food better a year ago in the same house. The poultry meat was now dry, many parts were only lukewarm and the dips and shrimp only came after we had actually already finished with the meat and the side dishes. There is nothing wrong with the location itself, the location and the house are very nice.

Despite reserving a table for 8 people, there were problems getting a table. Then the drink order was quickly taken and then the food order. Waited over an hour for the food to arrive. Then some of the food was cold. For spare ribs that were well cooked, the cook should first remove the silver skin and veins. It's actually a standard procedure.

Basically super tasty, nice staff, fantastic atmosphere by the water. We sat in the beer garden in the hot summer weather. Unfortunately, our first drink order took a good 20 minutes, which was far too long for me, especially since there was hardly any activity.

The menu of dishes was very confusing for me, so I ordered something wrong and didn't like it.

Had very good steaks with steak herb butter and a delicious mixed salad. Everything served attractively. Service is very nice and attentive. Very cozy atmosphere by the river. Reservations are required in good weather. We would be happy to come back.

Ate there with 4 people and 2 children. The food was very good. But the best thing is the wonderful beer garden with playground. Total child friendly. We come again.

We had a very nice afternoon there, the ambience in the restaurant was very good, outside it was a bit barren in some places, unfortunately the wooden benches there didn't have all the seating cushions, so you wanted to leave after 1 1/2 hours. In terms of taste I would give this a 2, it wasn't the best thing I've eaten in the category so far but I would put it in the top 20. The menu is clear and well structured, and there is also a good selection for vegetarian guests. There were 9 of us in our test and we still got something even without registration/reservation. Parking spaces are sometimes a bit poor, but many people get there on their bikes anyway. There is a playground right next to the restaurant, which our children really enjoyed playing on. Maybe a little tip to the waitress, arguing in front of customers and discussing something more loudly is not the best way. Even if it was just about the area that the other person had probably taken over, even though he wasn't supposed to.

Great location, with an exceptional beer garden...we were lucky enough to sit right by the river...perfect on a warm summer evening! The service is above average, the waiters are great!! The food that evening was sometimes rather average, it was sometimes not really warm when it was served, the fries were not cooked through, the Blondie was dry. The meat is high quality, the burgers were delicious, the brownie was amazing! We'll be back!!

It's best to make a reservation because it was already very full and we could only get a place under the pavilion (which was less pleasant when it was over 30°C). The food was very good and the service was friendly.

Nice restaurant, next to a campsite. Burger with pre-made patties, not according to the price. All versions of fries taste good, our favorite is sweet potato fries. House lemonade also very good.

We went there for dinner with a larger group. The staff was friendly so everything went well. Unfortunately, the meal took a bit too long at 40 minutes. The food itself (I had spare ribs) was ok, but nothing more. I would have expected a lot more and was therefore a little disappointed. I don't want to advise anyone here, but I can't give a clear recommendation either. I don't necessarily have to eat there again.

If in Hennef and considering a good piece of meat, this place would be a preferrential choice. It is a little remote, but nice to sit inside and outside with very friendly staff. Quality in average is ok. It is not the cheapest and not all items on the menu read American style, and some of it feels careless. A little bit more consistency in the menu, some more self-made feel (the coleslaw really could need some love), and a choice of music that actually fits the topic of "Nebraska" would have resulted in a better rating.

The restaurant is right next to a campsite on the water. However, you don't notice anything from the campsite. There is also plenty of space both inside and outside. The large parking lot above (there are also some directly at the restaurant) suggested this. The service was super friendly and quickly and friendly allocated a seat to other newcomers without a reservation. But now to the most important point, the food! The food was very tasty and well prepared. In my case it was the spare ribs where the meat fell off the bone as soon as I touched it. Of course, as you would expect in an American restaurant, the quantity is more than enough to satisfy everyone. Price-performance is also very fair. For example, the fact that steaks are quite expensive, especially if you expect certain types/selection, is normal today regardless of this restaurant. But here too, the meat and preparation were great. For me, a clear recommendation for anyone who feels really hungry, but also for those who want to spend a nice evening with a cocktail in the great outdoor area.

A nice, American-style restaurant with very tasty food. There is a large selection of American classics, such as burgers, ribs, etc. The Mexican menu is also highly recommended! The fajitas are really fun to eat. The homemade lemonade is also super delicious. There are also choices for vegetarians. Be careful with dessert, the portions are very large! The service is also great, the waiters are all very nice. By the way, you get bonus points if you can pronounce Fajita ;) So if you have some Spanish skills, you can have nice conversations here. :)

Leider in den letzten Monaten sehr teuer geworden. Preisliste im Internet stimmt nicht mehr mit der aktuellen Preisliste überein. Essen wahr heute zum Teil teuer und nicht nachvollziehbar, da die Speisekarte geändert wurde und einige Gerichte ohne Beilage angeboten werden Service war zum Teil grenzwertig, da einige Leute kein Deutsch gesprochen haben. Wir kommen wieder wenn es besser wird. Wir waren heute mit 10 Personen da und waren sehr enttäuscht.

Attentive staff, the steak was cooked medium as I wanted it. The ambience was okay, the table was in a quiet corner.

Large selection of beers, everything nice and cold and the cocktails were also very tasty. The food was attractively prepared, the portions were generous and the steaks were perfectly grilled to the desired degree of doneness. Despite the large number of guests that evening, the service at the table was very quick, so we never had to wait long for our order. We found it particularly nice that we were given a short break after the starter and then politely asked when we could continue with the main course. We were absolutely satisfied and will definitely come back there!

Addition 6/22/24: Today the burgers 🍔 weren't really convincing: the patties from the bison burger and also from the Nebraska burger were quite firm pressed meat, which had the appearance of an industrial mass-produced product. Unfortunately I have to delete my previous review because it has been drastically reduced. Last year in winter we didn't have a good experience as a group of 5 people. It can happen, no need to worry. Follow-up visit in March was O.kay! Then I had reserved a table for 3 people for June 9th, then canceled it and rebooked it for 5 people (which should normally make a restaurant happy 😉). When I arrived, the manager received us and complained about the 2 bookings and that one had not been canceled. (SORRY if there is a problem with the booking system, I work with an online system myself and sometimes it can take a while for the cancellation to go through!) Aside from that, we came with 2 MORE people, so it was absolutely not worth mentioning. I specifically looked at the menu online because a guest is currently only allowed to eat soup. However, the menu online could not be compared with the one on the terrace. Significantly, really significantly smaller. Only after I said we were leaving again was an asparagus soup offered. In total there were 5 of us that evening! people served! It wasn't overly crowded and there were enough service staff. Except for the soup, everyone had something to complain about with the food, enchiladas too dry, wrong fries, Caesar salad for €11.90 for a children's portion... In the end there were now 3 times in a row situations that resulted in us no longer coming. The location is truly beautiful. But that was it. The boss should primarily work on facial expressions and gestures. It's no use treating your favorite regular guests in an overly friendly manner if there are other guests who leave a lot of money behind. Despite everything, all the best!

After initial misunderstandings regarding the outdoor menu, we had a wonderful afternoon/evening. We were guests at Southern Nebraska with a large group from 5 p.m. until just before closing time at midnight. So there was no time limit, even though the restaurant was very busy. As always, the food was super fresh, cooked to perfection and very tasty. What fascinated us was that 15 of us received our food at the same time and were therefore able to eat together. We have experienced this differently in other restaurants. The drinks were always picked up and brought quickly. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. We can really recommend Southern Nebraska. It wasn't the first time and definitely not the last time we were there. Many thanks to the entire team 💕

Were there on my birthday 🎂 I really liked it... Great food, service and ambience. Great bar! There are even good menus for the little ones, something to do with painting and puzzles. And there is even a playground right in front of the restaurant. We would like to come again.

Been there for the fourth time today. Food first class, atmosphere relaxed for the size, tables decent size, service very good. There is a star deduction because unfortunately not everything went smoothly with the order today. But it was then corrected immediately and quickly.

What can I say. We were there with 6 people on Friday, great weather, sat outside. Ambiance was great, food was great. However, service was very bad, after the second round of drinks there was nothing really good. Quite a long wait. The service lady put you off with excuses when you asked. Empty plates weren't cleared away until you paid, even though service staff were constantly walking past you. A pity. Otherwise it could have been a nice evening.

Nice but completely overcrowded. The food is of a good standard for such a restaurant. The service was friendly and accommodating but seemed a little overworked. The ambience in the winter garden could be nicer but it was ok. We will definitely come back again when it's not so crowded.

We were there on vacation and were really pleasantly surprised. A relatively inconspicuous grill house turns out to be absolutely top class. The ambience, the friendly service staff and the very good food speak for themselves. The homemade iced tea was also an absolute bomb. We had perfectly fried meat, juicy burgers and incredibly tasty starters. We would definitely come back anytime if we are nearby!

The food was excellent and what we liked best was the service, which was very attentive. The starter and main course were served with enough time so that you could enjoy everything in peace. I came there as a "simple guest", the choice of my dish was quite cheap and easy to choose from. What I got far exceeded my expectations. It was simply delicious and the staff is very polite and accommodating. But I wasn't just a "simple guest" and that's how I was greeted and said goodbye. Dear Sejdiu family, greetings. When I sat at the table with you, I already suspected the connection in spirit and your name immediately told me the reason. What they didn't realize was that beneath the façade of simplicity there was someone who recognized them all. Your origin and mine are the same. We ate here today (coming from Bremen and taking a short vacation). Now I just have to leave my review there. The service was great! Rarely experienced something like that. Mr. Gashi served us, he was very friendly, very attentive and really paid attention to everything. I would like to have a service like this in Bremen too. Wouldn't let this employee go again. Plus, the food was great too! There is plenty of bread with a delicious dip. The portions are anything but small. And for those with a sweet tooth, I would recommend the brownie! Large portion and absolutely delicious. Thank you for this great experience at the end of our vacation. If we lived nearby, this wouldn't be our last visit.
