The food was okay so far, nothing special in terms of taste, but not bad either. The prices are fair and within reason. What had a negative impact on the visit, however, was the service: the waiting times were clearly too long and the staff seemed overwhelmed. Wrong dishes were served several times, even though the order was clear and unambiguous. Even after a complaint, the dish was delivered incorrectly again - that simply shouldn't happen. Particularly annoying: The incorrectly delivered and ultimately returned dish still appeared on the invoice, even though it was said that it would not be charged. We had to go back to clarify this - this too should have been noticed internally and dealt with easily. Conclusion: The food is okay, but the flow of our visit was chaotic. Pretty much everything that could go wrong went wrong. Too bad!

We were completely impressed by the troy restaurant in Hennef! The service was just perfect - you never felt like he or the restaurant was under stress. The atmosphere is authentic and makes you feel like you are in Turkey. Added to this is the food: incredibly tasty, fresh and prepared with a lot of love. Faruk and the team make the troy restaurant a real highlight - we will definitely be back!

I absolutely loved the Troy Restaurant! The food is incredibly tasty, freshly prepared and authentically seasoned. The grilled meat in particular was cooked to perfection and very aromatic. The service is attentive, friendly and warm - you immediately feel welcome. The ambience is also cozy and tastefully decorated. The price-performance ratio is absolutely right here. The breakfast buffet is also a real highlight: diverse, lovingly prepared and simply delicious! I will definitely come back and can only recommend the restaurant!

Ambience is very dark and looks more like a western saloon or a steak house. Service was friendly. Unfortunately drinks took forever. The first round came long before the meal and the second round came long after the meal. We would have liked to drink more. The food was mixed. Unfortunately mine was cold. For others in our group, everything was great.

We were there for brunch on Sunday. The staff here was definitely overwhelmed. It took over an hour for the coffee to be served. Empty bowls at the buffet were refilled very late. There were definitely too many people there. As much as I enjoy going there in the evenings, I will definitely never go there again for brunch. Update August 20, 2023: Had a fantastic dinner. Friendly, accommodating and great food. It is and remains my favorite restaurant with Turkish food 🤩👍

We were there for the first time on February 9th, 2025 and immediately after the visit we said never again. The selection was small. We had the feeling that the kebab meat was yesterday's news and the bulgur salad was far from fresh. I would even say close to the edge of spoiled. There were only light rolls and one type of multigrain bread. There was only one type of cake and baklava, which was only refilled upon request otherwise the plates stood empty for hours. There was only one type of tea (black tea) I hate black tea. There was no alternative here. The o juice was too sweet for me and mixed with water in a 1 to 1 ratio. The service, once you found one of them, was very rude. The ambience of the restaurant didn't appeal to us, very dark and uninviting. We don't come here anymore.

We were there for about 2 hours today. The food was ok but not particularly good, but plenty. Unfortunately the service was subpar. At the beginning we were asked what we would like to drink. At some point we ordered the food and from that point on we were no longer noticed. We finished our drinks while we were eating. Well, unfortunately that was it. We waited a long time to be able to pay and even after we went to the front and told them we still had to wait forever. Very unfortunate. I expected more from the reviews.

I happened to eat here with my business partner after a customer meeting. Since I often eat Turkish food, I have to say that this place really impressed me. Next time we definitely want to try the all-you-can-eat option. If you like Turkish food and are from the area, you should definitely stop by!

Unfortunately, I didn't have such a good experience. I wanted to pick up a voucher with the information that I could pay by card on site. In the restaurant itself I was asked to pay in cash because there were no fees. After I said that I couldn't do that because I didn't have any cash with me, I was asked to run to the nearest bank and get some cash. Such an action makes a restaurant very unappealing to me, which is why I won't eat there for this reason.

I was there spontaneously today with my husband. We've both been told about it and none of the stories were exaggerated; in fact, they were understated. It was really very good. Whether the waiters, or the ambience or the food. Everything was really excellent. The music in the background was neither too loud nor too quiet. Was there with 6 people. Food 1. Catastrophe, far too little on the plate. 2. Meat doesn't really taste good. For the price, you can go out for a really tasty, high quality meal somewhere else. The first and last time was 2 flatbreads for 7 people...

It was our first time at Troy. The breakfast was very tasty. There was a lot of choice. There were also a few desserts in the buffet. The ambience is nice. The employees were very nice and accommodating. The tea and orange juice is included.

4 people grill plates very expensive and hardly any meat on the plate, places to sit very close to each other and dogs in the customers' house

We were here two years ago and things went much better. The shop was full, but waiting 30 minutes before you can order something to drink is not possible. As compensation they wanted to bring us a “great starter plate”, we got ONE piece of bread (mind you there were 5 of us) + sauces and a salad Then: Ordered a grill plate for 5 people (€125) which wouldn't even have been enough for 3: very little meat, a large pot full of tasteless fries and far too little rice/bulgur for 5 people. The meat was tasty but that was it. For 30€ per person you can eat much better somewhere else, it's a shame :(

Our waiter Faruk made the evening perfect: Despite the restaurant being full to capacity, he served us with a smile, kept calm and never gave us the feeling that there was a rush somewhere. His professional and friendly service was impressive and contributed significantly to the great experience. The food? Simply sensational! Every bite was a pleasure – fresh, aromatic and prepared with a lot of love. You can literally taste the quality and passion of the cuisine. We spontaneously went there for dinner today. We were welcomed and looked after very politely. The service was attentive but far from intrusive. The food was very good. The lamb was served to perfection. We felt really comfortable. If you want something to complain about, you could say that two degrees warmer would have been okay. However, I was just sitting there in a shirt and an open cardigan. We would/will come back again and again at any time.

We went to Troy for the first time today. We were greeted warmly and escorted to the table. The ambience and furnishings are authentic and pleasant. The food was extremely tasty. We had starters, main course and the house recommendation for dessert. Rounded off with a mocha and a pistachio chocolate mocha. We felt very comfortable and can fully recommend the restaurant.

I (60) was there on Sunday afternoon with my long-time girlfriend (69). We had met at Troy in advance to go to the cinema after a short stay and a snack. Neither of us knew Troy before... Result: We didn't go to the cinema anymore. It was so beautiful there, the food was so delicious, the staff was so friendly, we felt like we were on vacation and could unwind. Whether young or 'old', every guest, small and large, was catered for. We'll definitely be back...you're doing a fantastic job, thank you for such a great time with you ♥️
