Doner kebab with sauce ordered without getting it...looks at the gentlemen's fingers while preparing it, slightly chaotic

We waited 20 minutes for our drink and 10 more for our food (döner plate). In the meantime, other guests have taken their seats at the neighboring tables. They seemed to have a similar cultural background as the waiters and received their orders before us.

Jumbo Dürum to eat on the go was cold. Taste so-so, not a special kebab. Meat fatty. I have been a Barmbeker for 10 years. Formerly a big SoulKebab fan. Disappointed for the 6th time today. Why I keep trying to do this remains a mystery to me. Better go to Sultans. Even the fries are hot if you only order fries at night and the kebab is always great

Always loved the food since the beginning. Significantly diminished over the years. Definitely last time visited yesterday: €19.90 for a meager plate of kebab + mini portion of fries. Just a rip off! If you want good kebab: go to Sultans at the train station!

Yesterday I had a normal kebab. Unfortunately the meat was very hard and very dry. There was almost no salad at all. The portion was too small. I weigh 60 kg and am 1.76 m tall. I didn't get enough from you. I didn't find the camera above the table funny either.

Vegan Dürüm - tastes mediocre, far too much 'meat', hardly any salad and almost only onions. I was then asked twice if I wanted cocktail sauce or tzatziki sauce (not vegan). I don't quite understand the question when I order a vegan dish, otherwise I would have ordered vegetarian or something... well, okay. Then I always think it's a shame that a vegan version is offered but there's actually no alternative sauce other than hummus!? And Ezme there is...it's actually not that difficult to be able to offer a delicious vegan sauce as well! Unfortunately I won't be coming back.

I ordered 4 ufo kebabs about 40 minutes ago today, December 6th, 2024. I bought it locally from Barmbek Soul Kebab. I'm speechless. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. 6.50 €Look at the picture. Then you know what I mean... and the sauce was also forgotten. Meat and salad in such big ufo bread 👎👎👎 For me that's a baby kebab

It probably started out as a “döner kebab shop”. Now it has gotten bigger and bigger. It's great to sit there and, above all, great food. Staff is super friendly and nice. It was really fun.

Soul kebab impressed us! The food was incredibly delicious, prepared with fresh ingredients and a lot of love. Every bite was a delight. A very special thank you goes to Yasin, our waiter. He was exceptionally friendly, attentive and made us feel very special. His warm manner made our experience perfect. Soulkebap is a place we can highly recommend. We ordered to be picked up. And ate directly in the hotel next door. Means 2 minutes walk. It was a shame that it was cold. The bun was also cold. My sister also had very little sauce. Otherwise very tasty.

Unfortunately, it has deteriorated extremely significantly. The Veggi Döner is not even half as much anymore, but the price has increased. It used to be such a cool shop! We enjoyed getting something out there for years, falafel and halloumi kebab were always top. Sauces taste great. Service was quick and, as usual, Hanseatic cool. Price increases are completely normal and I'm happy to go along with them for quality. But what's going on now? The first MINI kebab for €7.50 we thought it was a mistake and after the second and third time and when we saw the other reviews it became clear. Someone here doesn't want to fill the bread anymore 😅 there are even missing ingredients! What a shame! I hope you understand what you are doing to us with this 😭 now go to the kebab zone -> buy vegetable kebab..

Soul Kebab in Barmbek is definitely an insider tip for anyone who wants to enjoy really good food. The dishes are delicious and freshly prepared - the mixed meat platter in particular is a real highlight! Everything is perfectly seasoned and tender, and the homemade ayran on the side rounds it all off wonderfully. It has just the right mix of spice and freshness. The service is friendly and attentive, but sometimes you get the feeling that the team isn't completely on task. Despite this minor detail, the overall experience is convincing, and if you're in the mood for hearty, authentic food in Barmbek, you should definitely pay a visit to Soul Kebab!

I'm DISAPPOINTED again. I was there for the third time. Really topped it this time. Bought a DÖNER in bread for 7.50 euros. The bread weighed about 150 grams and the chicken weighed about 110 grams. The rest of the salad and the sauce. A total WEIGHT of 347g. With aluminum foil. A real shame. When I spoke up, they said it was normal.!!!!!! Never and never.

Went there at 2:30 and the employees weren't particularly motivated anymore. The kebab tastes almost like nothing, you can only taste the salad. The sauce tastes like peppermint even though it's supposed to be tzatziki. It doesn't work at all! Ever since I ate the kebab, I've had insane shit. Please look for a better one, the price is far too high for this quality. I don't even want to know what ingredient makes me feel so bad. Never again!!!

The service is pure disaster, Ordered soup, then he brought 2 pieces of bread and then the Turkish guests came and immediately everything got 3 times as much and in the end I gave him a tip of 1.60 for about 25 euros, no thanks, no tea request, but for local tea straight away, etc. That's not a good condition and it was definitely the last time I ate there! And the pizza was cold too! Other Turkish restaurants are much better and friendlier!!!

More like NO-Soul Kebab ^^ It used to be my go-to shop, but really not anymore. Unfortunately, I have to agree with the other recessions. Everything has decreased significantly, despite the constant price increase. Unfortunately the quality of the food has become much worse. Portions used to be larger - now everything is slapped down quickly and the meat is sometimes undercooked and gristly. Then there is a service that is anything but customer-oriented. Especially at the checkout and the employees preparing food. Just chaos, long waiting times and in the end you just get rudely grumbled at. It is and remains a snack bar with poor quality and service… It's a shame Soul Kebab - but I won't be coming back.

The kebab is below average at best. If you're in the mood for a boring kebab, this is the place for you.

A year ago I could have recommended this soul kebap without hesitation, but for about six months the kebab or dürüm has simply stopped performing. There has always been a difference when you eat kebab/dürüm there. You couldn't go wrong there in the afternoon between 12 and 3 p.m. Not too crowded and the meat has some time to roast. That's how it always tasted best. Of course the kebab/dürüm was also ok at all other times. This would be my first address, especially at night. But the last 5-6 times I was just always disappointed. I don't know what happened to the kebab meat, but it just tastes too bland. There's nothing there now. Bread, salad and sauce are still fine. But the meat, no, is simply underwhelming. I've been here a lot and can therefore judge the quality well. What can I say, I don't want to give it a bad rating. The kebab/dürüm has convinced me often enough in the past. But that is in the past. Current status and with a lot of wishes, 2.5 - 3 stars! Back then it would have easily been 4 stars. Too bad☹️

Nicer restaurant/snack bar Phenomenal Adana Kebap. Intensely seasoned, well fried and served in a very tasty, homemade (?) flatbread.

An absolute disaster! The food at Soul Kebab was somewhat okay, but everything else was an imposition. The tables were dirty, the waiters ignored us several times and were anything but friendly. It is unbelievable that we had to wait almost 30 minutes for the bill despite repeated requests. I've never experienced anything like this! As if that wasn't enough, we were promised tea on the house which we never received. This store is extremely unprofessional and definitely not recommended. Never again!i

It's best not to order there at all I recently ordered a large kebab box without a side dish and what do I get. a small kebab box with lots of iceberg lettuce and lots of onions. And meat hahaha it's true more iceberg lettuce and onions than meat They save so much of their meat that they simply drive their customers away with it. Such behavior is simply disgusting. Ok, he made me a little box, but he has to exaggerate so much and cut corners with the meat. Didn't get enough, just got angry and disappointed and then asked for 8.50

A very extensive map. I ordered to go. The store is very well organized. Even though it was incredibly busy, the staff kept an overview and worked with concentration. I had a pide with lamb. It was freshly prepared and was incredibly tasty. However, there could have been more meat. There was also salad and cacik. I don't want to eat there on site. There is too much activity for that.

Unfortunately, the vegan kebab was an absolute flop! Just vegetables… no vegan chunks or anything like that and even more expensive than a falafel sandwich, for example!

Food tastes excellent and plentiful. Only the service isn't right, too hectic and inattentive. Got the wrong dish on 2 of the 3 evenings. When asked, just the comment that we had ordered that and he was gone.

Tonight (8/10/24) I just ordered a lahmacun with doner meat (veal) to take away. As I waited for my order I was looked at strangely; I stood to the side, deliberately withdrawn because I didn't really want to get into a conversation. A man behind the counter then gave my number and asked for the order again. He made comments to me that, in my opinion, were not appropriate. He was more busy saying something that I couldn't understand because of the volume and therefore acted very cautiously. When I got home (2 minute walk, food well stored in my backpack) I discovered that the Lahmacun was totally cold and only topped with salad. I could have easily saved myself the €11. That was the last time in the store! The other visits before, when we sat inside, the service was poor, slow and unfriendly (if you don't feel like service, then you should just leave it and not scare away the guests). The food is slammed onto the table without a word. If you don't want to expect anything from the service, it's best to go there. The food was less than mediocre, the ambience was still ok and the toilets were dirty. I don't think this review will bring any change, but what you can expect as a guest or what you can't expect.

Unfortunately, unfriendly service, that was the second time. That's why you feel somehow uncomfortable :(

baah Unquality meat and still half raw completely inedible

Ridiculously small dürum kebab for 8.50. Never been served such a small thing before. Taste was also just average. You can do it if you have too much money and not too much hunger. Fritz Kola 0.2 for €3. Not even the 0.33 bottles. It's a pure rip-off with average products.

Where do I start… the staff is incredibly unfriendly! You're not really being listened to and the people there aren't interested. My food was prepared completely incorrectly, I let it go back and was told not to overdo it “unnecessarily”, it would work that way. (Allergic to feta) ... that's okay ... the kebab itself was absolutely bad! Ordered at the same time and received the food 10 minutes apart. Everything was the same at the bottom of the kebab and the salad was only on top. The sauces taste different every day. You are pushed and pushed around by the waiters without them saying anything to you. You can only find out the drinks prices if you ask and the prices are always different, strangely enough. If you have the choice... go to Lattenkamp! However, if you download it yourself, the service and quality are significantly better! Unfortunately, absolutely not recommended in Barmbek!

The men behind the counter discussed loudly and non-stop with other men in front of the counter in their local language. That's quite disrespectful. As a customer, you feel like you're interrupting, so you listen away, but at the same time you try to catch the moment when you're allowed to order. I then ordered a kebab from the woman at the checkout without pickles and without cabbage. I watched as the orders were prepared one by one. Then it was my note. Still arguing heatedly, I left out the salad but added the tomato and cucumber mixture. I intervened, said again what I had ordered and asked that at least the salad be added to it. The man behaved impossibly, slapping the ingredients into the bread with a can-do attitude and making no attempt to hide his annoyance in any way. If you're going to talk loudly over the heads of paying customers, you should at least deliver the order correctly. Or you get together to discuss things in your free time and just do your job at work.

Food, service and stuff members can be rated below than 0. Very RACIST stuff members. They make fun of foreigners just cause they cannot speak anything than Turkish. They were refusing to sell me the sandwich after I made an order and paid saying that they’re running out of meat and they made fun of me cause I refused to leave without taking my order. Despite the very bad food quality they serve, yet their service is worst.

The tone was subterranean, the kebab box was generally ok, but unfortunately I had to eat it in shifts because it wasn't mixed. Also expensive at €8.50. What a shame!

When you eat at Turkish restaurants, you cannot stay hungry. Superb, delicious food, really big, generous portions. it's not the cheapest, but for that money you won't get as much food anywhere else in Hamburg.

The food is really good and the prices are a bit high but justified! But unfortunately the service, or rather the operation, was once again extremely unfriendly! When I ordered a coke and when it was empty (there are only 0.2 bottles) I was still thirsty and ordered two cokes! The waitress said to me get it yourself in a very rude tone! Such experiences have often happened to friends of mine and myself! Apart from that good!

The “boss”/middle-aged man with a bald head and a bit fatter should leave the restaurant soon. So much stress isn't good for him in the long run, so he lets it out aggressively and provocatively on guests :) high blood pressure and heart attacks shouldn't be underestimated :) life is short :)

Used to be a very loyal customer. But the man who served the kebab treat me very bad twice, which I was scolded in the second one. I asked for a take a way Dönner box, but instead of doing it, he scolded me and I had to do it by my self which was really wierd. Fortunatelly, his other colleague did the wrapping thing for me after she saw how difficult it was for me to do it. I would never ever buy on that kiosk anymore. There are still lots of soul kebabs out there and this one is the WORST.

I haven't been there for a long time. I only take photos of standing shopping carts and send the photos to the owners. There are cars on the street everywhere. At Lidl and Aldi, however, I've already gotten flippant answers from the employees, like "Yes, and what do you want from me? And the like... I have to ride my bike because I have a back problem and I can't drive several cars Walk through the shops to drop off the cars.

The food is nice and generous but i prefer delivery or take out than sitting there, service sometimes slow.

Crowded, hectic, impersonal...but delicious!
