Ein wirklich toller Service, sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Wir haben draußen auf der Terrasse gesessen und das war sehr angenehm.

Das Essen war Top. Preise waren vollkommen angemessen. Der seevice war sehr gut. Für uns unser neuer Lieblingsgrieche.

Heute zum erste Mal mit der Familie spontan da gewesen. Der Service ist super, dass Essen sehr lecker und alles sehr sauber. Sogar ein kleiner Spielplatz ist vor Ort. Jedoch ist hier sinnvoll, vorher zu reservieren, er ist sehr gut besucht. Wie werden auf alle Fälle wieder zum Essen hinfahren.

Wir gehen sehr oft dort essen und immer zufrieden, sehr reichlich auf dem Teller. Bedienung alle sehr top kann ich nur empfehlen.

Auf jeden Fall, aber besser vorher reservieren

Bester Gyros in Eickel (schon seit meiner Kindheit)mit abstand und die Tsatsiki ist Klasse! Das einzige Problem ist das Sorbas ständig zu ist wenn ich dort essen möchte, oder es einfach zu voll ist. Aber es ist sehr empfehlenswert.

Sehr leckeres Essen zu vernünftigen Preisen, dazu nettes Personal und eine schöne Atmosphäre. Auch der Außenbereich ist toll!

Hier bekommt man noch ordentlich was für sein Geld. Das Essen war hervorragend, die Portion gewaltig und das zu einem Preis den man bei 90% aller anderen Lokalitäten vermisst. Vorallem mit Kindern ist der Sorbas Grill ideal wegen des angrenzenden Spielplatz.

Wir gehen hier regelmäßig hin, mal nur zu zweit, mal auch mit einer größeren Gruppe. Dann sollte man einen Tisch reservieren. Service ist sehr gut, das Essen sehr, sehr lecker, für jeden etwas dabei. Wir können es nur empfehlen.

Das war ein 5 von 5 Besuch mit Freunden. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Bedienung ist absolut professionell und das gesamte Team überaus freundlich. Das Essen kam sehr schnell und ist wirklich lecker! Preis-Leistung ist ein Traum. Das Ambiente ist sehr modern und für jede Jahreszeit geeignet. Das Restaurant wird definitiv weiter empfohlen und von noch häufiger besucht werden. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Moderne Einrichtung und sehr netter Service. Man hat nicht lange auf Essen und Trinken gewartet. Biergarten auch vorhanden. Davor ein Spielplatz für Kinder. Preis Leistung top. Für einen Dienstag war das Lokal sehr gut besucht

Dies ist ein recht solider und günstiger Grieche. Wir waren bei Familie zu Besuch und kannten den Griechen gar nicht. Essen hat ein wenig gedauert, aber das heißt ja, dass es frisch gemacht wird ;)

Sehr schönes, sauberes Lokal mit Biergarten, sehr nette Servicekraft. Viel besucht, Tisch sollte reserviert werden. Essen war auch gut und reichhaltig.

Toller griechischer Imbiss. Alles was ich bisher hier gegessen habe, war top. Diesmal war es ein Gyros pita und Gyros mit Metaxasauce und Käse überbacken. Leider heute ohne Fotos 😉

Ja es war voll. Aber,17:45 angekommen und bestellt. Was ist an einem kross gebackenem Schnitzel Wiener Art mit en bisschen Krautsalat, schwer zu verstehen. Bekommen habe ich für sage und 13€ eine schlechte Matschpampe von Zigeuner Soße geträkt die ich nicht vertrage, eiskalt noch dazu. Als ich dieses anfing zu schreiben war es 18:13 . Wir sind eine Gruppe von 8 Personen und wir treffen uns immer wieder im Sorbas. Das wird nicht mehr geschehen. Nie wieder.

War mal besser. Bestellungen, die nicht im Lokal verzehrt werden, sind schnell-schnell zubereitet. Pommes z.B. werden gar nicht erst knusprig frittiert, es hat den Anschein als zählt allein der Durchsatz in den Abendstunden.

Besuch war Top! Die Ambiente ist dort entspannt, ich würde für einen Besuch Wochenende empfehlen, einen Tisch zu bestellen, da es sehr voll werden kann. Die Betreiber waren Freundlich und das Essen kam in gutem Zeitraum. Die Portionen sind gut und machen satt, die Qualität des Essen ist super Toll. Mein Grillteller und das Zigeunerschnitzel meines begleiters waren in Top Qualität, mir persönlich ist die Zigeunersoße etwas zu Süß, ist aber Meinung des eigenen. Insgesamt für beides plus Wasser und Cola ca. 35€ bezahlt, was völlig in Ordnung geht. Parken ist einfach und mit dem ÖPNV ist man auch schnell vor ort. Ich kann dieses Restaurant nur empfehlen!

The food is quite noisy, especially near the door, just like in a fast-food restaurant. The lack of card payment is a definite drawback. That should be standard these days.

We've never been disappointed here. I've met few companies that deliver such consistent quality. It's always fast, good, and reliable. That deserves the utmost respect.

The best Greek snack bar in Herne... everything is homemade and the meat is of superb quality.

Absolutely unfriendly. The manager, in particular, likes to yell at the bar. The wait times are incredibly long. The food is absolutely average by the standards of a run-of-the-mill snack bar. You don't have to put yourself through it.

The food here is always delicious. Great value for money. The service is friendly and fast. The only drawback is that they only accept cash payments.

We felt comfortable, but the menu was a bit too long or the selection too extensive for our liking, and the food confirmed this. It was delicious, no question, but lacked the wow factor. Nevertheless, we would stop by anytime for a cold beer and a small meal.

We stumbled upon this place by chance; it's beautifully presented inside and out. The portion sizes are great, and the gyros are very juicy but still nicely roasted on the outside. We'll definitely be back. The service is also first-class, and you can even smoke outside in a beer garden with a bar.

Best place in Herne for good food.

Disappointingly small portions these days. We've been to Sorbas many times because the food is really delicious. But you can see how the portions are getting smaller and smaller. Nowadays, you can't get full from a plate of gyro or teriyaki anymore. This was probably the last time we order there. A real shame

A mix of Greek restaurant and fast food. The quality of the food is as you would expect and the portions are well sized. Service is quick and attentive, even when the store is very busy, which is quite often. The only drawback is the lack of the option to pay by card.

Here you can get delicious food at an acceptable price. The service is quick and friendly. Although there was a lot of traffic at the take-out counter, the food came promptly and for all 6 people at the same time. This all points to a well-coordinated team and a lot of experience. We particularly enjoy sitting in the beer garden, which also offers a certain degree of protection from the weather. A reservation is recommended here

At the end of the day, Zorbas remains a fast food joint, a chip shop, but in my opinion it's implemented quite nicely. I've been there a few times in the last few years, even with several people... I actually always found the price/performance ratio to be OK. Anyone who eats there more often will know that it's mostly good, but also that there can be mishaps... You often see young staff there, so mistakes are inevitable. I was never served bad food, the portions were always satisfactory... it happened that a salad was forgotten, a beer took a little longer, or onions were served even though it was actually made clear in advance that onions were not wanted today. But these were clearly exceptions that were quickly and friendly corrected. All in all, I would recommend Zorbas...but as I said, at the end of the day it's a chip shop and not a three-star shop...and as for paying with the card...yes, it annoys me too, but the Sparkasse is conveniently located around the corner and it's the owner's decision, not that of the guests...

Solid Greek takeaway cuisine. Our expectations were fully met. It tastes particularly good fresh to the table. Food and drinks came quickly, beer was cold! Service friendly and accommodating. Always packed on the weekend - I see it as a good sign.

The staff is great! The food is also delicious. Personally, the gyro was too greasy and not crispy at all for me, but it was also very full and others will probably find it just as good! But the Cevapcici tasted super delicious! And the fries too! At the front there is more of a snack area (open kitchen), further back there is a restaurant. I recommend making reservations in advance.

Even though we had made a reservation and received a confirmation on the phone, we were initially told that we hadn't called at all. After proving it, we were told that it wasn't their fault that the reservation wasn't written down. We should wait until a table for 8 people becomes available. And I would like to repeat despite a telephone reservation. After 10 minutes of discussion we left. The employees were really rude and we didn't even receive an apology, just a blame game in our direction. In addition, you can only pay in cash.

We were there by chance and were happy to get a spot. We ate there with 6 adults and two children. The service was super friendly, the food was very tasty. The only disadvantage is that no card payment is possible. But there was a Volksbank down the street.

Very tasty food, served exceptionally quickly and good prices! There are also special dishes for children, which are actually always eaten (and with two very picky eaters) Friendly staff and larger rooms than can be seen from the outside. We got a table for 9 people at short notice on a Sunday afternoon, even though it was busy! The staff reacted flexibly and uncomplicatedly and was simply great. It's really good to sit here and (at least when we sat outside a while ago) the children could play in the playground next door and were always within sight and calling distance. Absolute recommendation from us!

The gyro was dry, not brown/crusty, not seasoned. Things used to be much better. The small dollop of tzatziki is too expensive at 1.50 euros. In general, the prices are quite high for a snack. It's not a restaurant.

Personally, I'm not a big fan of snack food. That's why I don't see my rating as narrowly. The ambience is really great. You can sit inside and outside when the weather is good. Others can learn a lesson from this. The food was ok. Personally, I don't need it that often. But that's just my personal opinion. Is always well attended. So I assume that many people find it tasty there.

Only optimal reviews will probably be published. When we entered there was a “they say what they want” no hello. The gyro was totally over salted. Other than a big bill, there was no goodbye or goodbye. There is no friendliness there. Even the dogs didn't like the bratwurst. The store's structure is top notch. Never again!!!!

Get a table quickly indoors and reserve a table outside. We had a farmer's plate - it was good and a Thessalonikitelker - also okay - tzatziki with pizza rolls as a starter - delicious. Each dish came with a small salad. This one was okay too. Service professional and nice.
