I'd reconsider the gyro with fries option. This dish comes with onion rings, tzatziki, and some coleslaw. Friendly staff and excellent atmosphere.

The price-performance ratio is good... except for the tzatziki. €1.40 is too much in our opinion! The dishes were prepared quickly and delicious. The one we complained about not being cooked all the way through was promptly put back on the grill. We'll definitely be back and try something different.

The gyro spit was turned off and turned on to warm up the meat. An 8-minute drive home, the meat was only lukewarm, and tasty is something else entirely.

This Greek grill snack bar pleasantly surprised me. I've been here a few times and I'm always satisfied. I'd particularly like to highlight the currywurst and the gyro – both dishes that are really well prepared here. The currywurst is always cooked to perfection, and the sauce has a pleasant spice that goes well with the meat. It's not a given that a Greek snack bar offers such a delicious currywurst, but here the quality is simply top-notch. The gyro also impresses every time. The meat is tender and well-seasoned, the portions are generous, and the side dishes are fresh. You can tell that they value good ingredients here. The service is always friendly, and the wait times are short. For me, this snack bar is a reliable place when I'm craving a good currywurst or a classic gyro. The price-performance ratio is also good. I can wholeheartedly recommend this Greek grill snack bar and happily give it 5 out of 5 stars.

5/5 stars! I was absolutely thrilled with this Greek fast food joint! The Olymp Burger is an absolute highlight – the dry-aged beef is incredibly delicious and perfectly prepared. The gyro is also a treat – the meat is so juicy and flavorful that I could hardly resist ordering everything again immediately! The portions are generous and the prices are more than fair. The atmosphere is cozy, and the staff is friendly. I highly recommend this fast food joint and am already looking forward to my next visit! Simply top-notch – 5 stars are definitely deserved!

Finally, a good Greek restaurant again! After trying many, I've finally found what I was looking for. The food is well-seasoned, the onions, beans, etc. are well-marinated, and the salad is always fresh. The meat isn't flabby, and I'm really sensitive to that. 😅 Overall, everything is very clean, tidy, and modern. There's plenty of parking. (Toom) The service is relaxed and friendly; all in all, absolutely recommended! I'll be back. 👍😁

This was my post once: "Best gyro in Herne, delicious, very clean, and totally friendly. Going anywhere else would be a waste of time." Now, unfortunately, I have to correct that. It used to be delicious. When I first tried it with the new owner, I discovered that gyros can be seasoned differently. Unfortunately, it's not a good thing. I'm disappointed because they said nothing would change. It would have been nice. I, for one, will look for something new. Bye.

The food is of very good quality as we are used to from Valandi. The snack bar is very clean. You can sit comfortably and order food or of course pre-order and take away. We'll be happy to come by again to eat delicious gyros or the best fries. See you soon

I love Greek cuisine mixed with a french fries. Since the owner used to have a grill here in Wattenscheid, I of course went after him because the taste he offers is unique. I've never had anything before and have tried almost everything where I would have had to say it didn't taste good. It's a mix of restaurant food and barbecue joint. Also very nice staff and a very clean atmosphere.

It's been an absolute favorite in Herne for years when it comes to the quality of the dishes 👍 I've been here to try it when I was visiting from Greece and the visitor was also really impressed with the food, the cleanliness and the friendliness of the people there. The meat is very high quality, whether it's schnitzel, liver, gyros etc. everything is top 👍 the portions have become a little smaller, but all in all it's the best snack in Herne! Update After the change of ownership, the quality dropped massively. We've eaten there twice now and that's it for us. The meat had no taste, was riddled with tendons and the fries were limp and tasteless. Likewise the gyros, which was barely edible. There was hardly any seasoning here and the meat was laced with tendons. Too bad. From the best Greek snack in the city to a simple chip shop.

There are days when you spontaneously change your mind about your quick lunch (fast food would be an insult)^^ Just like today when I switched from kebab to my Greek restaurant around the corner! This decision was the best since....eh yeah!!!^^ The first thing that caught my eye was the really cool, modern but also pleasing to the eye new billboard!!@ And I chose the Olympus burger flashing in the middle of the said board! And people and future guests, you have to check it out, it's great and for €11.50 with fries, it's more affordable than anywhere else! Best regards, The one with the big face

We eat there regularly. I've tried a lot of things and it's always been great. Service is very friendly. Above all, it is very clean there. The counter or bar. The tables are always clean. Very appealing and recommended......👍👍

I waited longer than expected to try this restaurant because of their/mine summer vacation. Finally, I got to try N.55 of the menu... It was DELICIOUS. I know it’s common use to get fries instead of rice, but I personally recommend to try it with that instead. Rice was indeed tasty by its own. The thyme on the meat as well as on the onions there were as a side was giving the 5th star fully for me. And the owners were the kindest with me. Hope be be back soon 🥰

I've been going there for 27 years. Everyone is always super nice, no matter how crowded it is. The food is always delicious and completely sufficient. In general everything is more than super good. Go on like this.

Unfortunately the food could not be rated. Although we had previously asked by telephone whether one could bring an assistance dog and this was answered in the affirmative, the wheelchair user was denied access with an assistance dog in a rude and cheeky manner.

I've been eating there for almost 30 years, but recently it hasn't been what it used to be. Soulvlaki cold and still almost raw. The sauces used to be made in-house, which unfortunately is no longer the case today. A pity

Essen war ok. Allerdings der Service lässt sehr zu wünschen übrig. Nach Fertigstellung der Speise wurde nur kurz zum Tisch rübergerufen das man sich sein bestelltes Essen abholen kann. Abräumen musste man auch hier wieder selber. Das ist meiner Meinung nach nicht Zeitgemäß und schlechter Service am Kunden. Zumal es wirklich nicht voll war und die Betreiber sich lieber hinter dem Tresen unterhielten. Hier ist noch Luft nach oben. Ansonsten war das Personal freundlich.

Ich komme immer hierher, um Pommes zu essen, aber das letzte Verhalten fand ich äußerst falsch. Würde der Besitzer nicht kommen und mir sagen, ich solle die Cola-Flasche noch einmal auf den Teller stellen? In diesem Fall bin ich als Kunde nicht zufrieden Es ist völlig falsch zu sagen, dass es in der Mitte aller Leute gut war, aber das Verhalten dort ist nicht gut. Das muss behoben werden.

Zwar ein Imbiss..... aber mein Favorit seit über 20 Jahren.

Das Essen hier ist schon seit Jahren von gleichbleibend guter Qualität, alle Mitarbeiter immer freundlich . Die Preise und Portionsgrößen sind angemessen.

Ein sehr guter Imbiss Essen ist sehr lecker egal ob Pizza, pommes Currywurst oder Gyros alles ist sehr gut. Personal immer freundlich und schnelle Bedienung.

Nach langer Zeit, mal entschieden spontan beim Olym Grill zu essen und sehr positiv überrascht. War auf den Samstag nicht zu voll.... Das Essen war sehr lecker, Preise sind vollkommen ok. Ambiente schön, gemütlich und sauber. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Wir waren mit mehreren Personen essen. Jeder hatte etwas anderes. Alle Speisen waren frisch und lecker. Leider kommt keiner zum Tisch und wir mußten uns das fertige Essen auf den Tellern selber holen. Insgesamt aber sehr zu empfehlen. Wir werden, sollten wir in der Nähe sein, dort wieder essen gehen.

Immer Lecker und vor allem sauber. Leider ist die Preiserhöhung auch dort angekommen. Parken ist dort Glücksache .

Also mal ehrlich ....voll toll ....kein Geruch nach Frittenfett, alles ansprechend angeboten , frisch und mega lecker. Gerne weiter so !

Die Currywurst war nicht so toll. Die (wohl seit längerem fertige) Wurst wurde zum wieder aufwärmen in die Friteuse geschmissen. Pommes, Mayonnaise und Currysoße waren ok. Da kann nicht viel falsch gemacht werden. Service war in Ordnung. Wir wurden freundlich bedient.

Supper Netter Inhaber/in, das Essen immer frisch und lecker. Für Fleischliebhaber genau das richtige.

Essen war noch vor zwei Jahren besser. Gyros war im Geschmack sehr laff und zuviel Fettanteil an Fleisch und keineswegs knusprig . Die Pommes waren viel zu hart. Insgesamt, was ich leider sagen muss, nicht zu empfehlen. Leider MfG einer der dort schon über 10 Jahre Kunde wahr.
