Sophie's Beer Garden in Stuttgart

Very good 🍺 beer, cozy location, super great service and service despite the World Cup time of the Germany game. Always friendly service. Easily accessible by S-Bahn, the brewery is located in the backyard of Bad Cannstatt in the Felgerhof, which makes it even cozier. We really enjoy coming here 😊.

Typical brewery with local and Germany-wide specialties. On the day we were there, two employees were loudly shouting and insulting each other. Unprofessional in my opinion but not a big deal at first. The waiter was very friendly towards us at all times, but after the action with his colleague he went 180, which resulted in the wrong order. Since we had to wait a little longer for the food, I ultimately decided to eat the wrong order. The Maultaschen soup is absolutely overpriced, it's good, but for a single Maultaschen in broth over €6 is way too much. Even for 7 cevapcici €17.30 is outrageous. Everything was very good in terms of taste, but the price was still too high plus the initial twist from the two employees, which was simply unprofessional, will probably not let me come back here again. In the end, they didn't want to see their own mistake and didn't offer a discount. A pity!

This nice brewery is located in the center of Bad Canstatt. There are currently four beers on tap. We tried the black beer and the naturally cloudy one. Both delicious - although I liked the naturally cloudy one better. If the service had been a little friendlier it would definitely have been five stars. But that may also be due to the rainy weather.

I would defiantly recommend. The staff is excellent, regardless of any language barrier, the food is amazing, I recommend the apple strudel, and it is just overall a nice, authentic experience.

We were still able to order warm food around 9 p.m. Cheese spaetzle were very tasty and the side salad was also varied. The second dish did not convince us. The Maultaschen were okay, the potato salad was just sour and not tasty. The atmosphere in the small square, beer and cyclists were delicious. The service was uncomplicated and attentive. We'll come back and choose another dish

Top place, local dishes, well presented, cheap, nice service, beautiful traditional place. Very nice to eat something tasty, local and cheap.

Do not come here, food is terrible, and when we were about to pay they came to say they didn’t accept card without warning us when we sat down. Terrible service.

The waiter looked at the empty drinks, but didn't ask if we wanted to drink again, but continued gossiping with colleagues. In the meantime he was smoking outside and smelled clearly of tobacco. I would particularly advise families with children not to go to this restaurant. There are numerous better breweries on Schlossplatz where the food tastes better and is not just served lukewarm. The tough meat, which was drowned in a sauce that tasted like a flavor enhancer, was particularly negative.

Very nice brewery. The furnishings fit well, but it shouldn't be more. Service was great. The food was great. I had schnitzel with spaetzle (see photo), which was just good. Is now on the list of places we will go to in Bad Cannstatt.

We got warm food at 9 p.m., everyone really enjoyed it, the service was great. If we weren't here for a vacation, we would come more often

Long waiting time, small portion

We had made a reservation because we wanted to go out to dinner with three older women (two of whom have significant walking disabilities). There should be 7 of us in total. Our table was reserved for Saturday at 7:30 p.m. We were there at 7:20 p.m. - the table was occupied. Still occupied after 20 minutes. Long story but at the end we sat with three older women (78-86 years old) divided into two beer benches. The waiter argued that it was reserved for 7 but 9 people came. It was obvious that there was double booking. They just didn't want to leave a table free. I'm definitely not going there again. The salmon is highly recommended although there are only a few side dishes.

Good middle-class hip. Prices are ok for Stuttgart, but if you want to swap spaetzle for fries or the other way around during the day's meal, it becomes more complicated or expensive.

I found our service to be very nice and quick, but unfortunately the food looked like convenience and that's what it tasted like. Far too expensive for that. Beer tasted stale and still has upside potential. Ambience was comfortable except for the volume.

We came across this restaurant by chance and just wanted to be surprised by what was available here. The menu is well-stocked and I think there is something for everyone here. There are also many vegetarian dishes on the menu. The food we ordered was very good and the portion size was sufficient. Personally, the beer wasn't sparkling enough for us, but that's also a matter of taste. All in all we were very satisfied.

6 months ago I wrote an email and an email came saying I should get an email from the managing director. I'm still waiting for that today. I've been there several times in the last few years, the service is a matter of luck depending on who is serving. Food is sometimes good and sometimes just satisfying. Unfortunately the Wichtel train station is closed, the beer there was good and cheap.

Bestellung kam falsch oder garnicht!

War sehr schön nur wenn man für sieben Personen bestellt und einen Tisch für 6 Personen bekommt, wo laut Personal 8 Personen Platz haben ist es nicht OK wenn man Essen möchte. Bedienung war sehr freundlich ob wohl sie viel laufen mußte. Kartoffelsalat war zu kalt zu den Maultaschen aber es ging da etwas Soße dabei war.

Schöes Restaurant in guter Lage von Cannstatt mit schönem Aussenbereich

Wir sind eigentlich keine anspruchsvolle Menschen. Die Kellner eine absolute Enttäuschung. Überhaupt nicht aufmerksam, Nebentische werden nicht abgeräumt. Kellner wirkte desorientiert. Beim zahlen machte er noch komische Bemerkungen. Bis jemand kommt und Getränke aufnimmt oder dann vollständig bringt. Am Nebentisch wurde gebeten noch das trinken zu bringen, wurde nicht getan. Das Essen ist ne 4 von 10 . Schnitzel wurden nicht gewürzt. Absolut schade ...

Sehr netter Service auch sehr Kinderfreundlich. Das Essen war top und für eine Großstadt sehr angemessene Preise. Ist leicht versteckt in einem Innenhof aber trotzdem gut zu finden. Im Sommer bestimmt herrlich mit dem Biergarten. Wenn wir wiederal in Bad Cannstatt sind kommen wir defenitiv wieder.

Es gibt kein veganes Essen. Service war okay. Die nicht Veganer waren zufrieden mit dem Essen und hatten große Portionen.

War hier schon öfters weil das Essen und Getränke hier konstant lecker ist bzw sind. Abzüge gibt es dieses mal, hatte Tisch reserviert, als wir kamen hieß es gleich in zwei Stunden müssten wir wieder weg sein, sind noch nicht mal gesessen, der kleine Tisch war eine Katastrophe mitten im Gang, geht gar nicht, kalt war es da drin gestern auch. Essen Trinken alles bestens ansonsten. Trotzdem irgendwie unglücklich von der Kellnerin.

Enjoyed a few different beers and some local snacks. The bartender kept the beer flowing.

wir kamen spontan vorbei, freundlich wurden wir aufgenommen und fanden trotz Bundesligaspiel noch ein Plätzchen, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Service, Bier und Preis hat gepasst - Essen war ok - Es hat an Geschmack und Würze gefehlt - Wir waren zu 5. dort gewesen und haben über Zwiebelrostbraten hin zu den Pfannengerichten verzehrt.

Rustikal eingerichtetes Restaurant im Herzen von Cannstatt mit Außengastronomie. Das Essen war lecker und preislich angemessen. Wir waren unter der Woche dort und haben noch abends einen Tisch bekommen, aber um auf Nummer sicher zu gehen, sollte man gerade für das Wochenende reservieren. Den Abzug im Service gab es für die vergessene Getränkebestellung und die Karte für das Dessert mußten wir auch dreimal nachfragen.

Leckeres Brauhaus in Bad Cannstatt. Vielfältige Speisekarte mit deutschen und schwäbischen Spezialitäten. Die Gaststätte bietet auch ein eigen gebrautes Bier an, das echt lecker geschmeckt hat!

Hier gibt es schnelles und süffiges Bier, dazu schwäbische Hausmannskost ohne wenn und aber. Gerne wieder und danke für den schönen Abend.

Das Rahmschnitzel war zäh, die Pilze nicht frisch, die Maultaschen vom Supermarkt und die Soßen schmeckten nach billigen Fertigsoßen. Wir essen zukünftig woanders.

Wir hatten nur einen kurzen Zwischenstop mit einem Kaffee. Sehr angenehme Atmosphäre in der Altstadt von Bad Cannstatt. Personal freundlich, schnelle Bedienung.

Schwäbische Küche, ist nichts seltenes in Stuttgart, es gibt's natürlich Orte wo es besser, da kostet es aber auch entsprechend. Hier ist es einfach nur gut. Der Service auch, nicht al zu lange gewartet, Karte kam man leider nur drinnen zahlen. Sonst ist alles fine.

Kleiner, aber gemütlicher als "Sophie's Brauhaus" in Stuttgart-Mitte. Mit schönem Außenbereich. Gut zu erreichen mit der Stadtbahn (Haltestelle "Bad Cannstatt Wilhelmsplatz") oder S-Bahn (Haltestelle "Bahnhof Bad Cannstatt"). Ansonsten das seit Jahren bewährte Angebot, das man von der Innenstadt-"Sophie" kennt (s. auch dort).

Tolle Atmosphäre ,leckeres Essen ,Preis-Leistung stimmt auch .Ist immer einen Besuch wert !!!

Etwas versteckt in einem Hof findet sich das Brauhaus. Bei gutem Wetter kann man wunderbar draußen sitzen. Das hauseigene Bier schmeckt und verführt dazu noch ein weiteres zu bestellen. Die angebotenen Gerichte sind klassische schwäbische Küche. Ich hatte die gerösteten Maultaschen und es war köstlich. Die Bedienung war schnell und freundlich.
