We were very pleasantly surprised. The service was very attentive. The food was incredibly good. And the view was indescribable.

Amazing location and view in a beautiful venue. The products are carefully selected and well prepared. The wine list is also worth it. Special recommendation on the buratta served with radicchio and Porto wine marinated figs.

Yesterday's visit to Cube Stuttgart was thoroughly enjoyable. The food was exceptionally good, and the professional and attentive staff made the evening perfect. However, a table by the window, which was requested for my birthday, wasn't possible. Nevertheless, a highly recommended experience!

I only recommend it for the view, to have a coffee, and nothing more. The service is bad and slow, and the menu has very little variety.

Exceptional ambiance, especially during Advent! Dress warmly if you're lucky enough to get a window seat. Excellent food, however, €25 for a 0.2-liter glass of white wine is beyond my budget, and the wine wasn't particularly good to justify the price. A shame, it'll stick with me.

We've been here several times before, but unfortunately, this time we were very disappointed. It was far from what we would expect for €100 per person on an evening like this. The service was attentive but didn't really add anything to the wine and other drinks. The appetizers (tartare and burrata) were good. The main courses were disappointing: the eggplant in the main course was practically inedible, and the rice with the tuna was far too raw. The price/performance ratio is simply not right.

Saturday evening, 6 p.m. You receive a very warm welcome, your jacket is taken from you, and you are shown to your reserved table. The lighting is softly dimmed, and music plays in the background. The glass facade, illuminated by the lights of the pre-Christmas atmosphere, is quite impressive. Up to this point, it was truly lovely, and even though you might expect a "but," there wasn't really one. However, there was no "wow" factor either. The food, which was supposed to be the star of the show, unfortunately played only a supporting role. Although well-presented, it couldn't impress as much as the service. While food, much like art, is in the eye (or mouth) of the beholder, the well-made sorbets, which appeared as accents on the plate, didn't really suit our taste at this time of year. Many elements could have been better coordinated, for example, to give the Canadian fish a chance to truly shine. What remains is the exceptionally professional and warm overall impression, which we had been looking forward to for quite some time.

The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. Thank you for a lovely evening.

It's a shame the fifth course of the menu is over and we're full. Two and a half hours of pure enjoyment, unusual and delicious dishes, friendly and attentive service, and excellent wine are behind us. The menu was a culinary experience. Unique but not over the top! A delight for the palate! It was our first time there, but definitely not our last! We'll gladly return! 👍🙂

The CUBE service team is very customer-oriented and empathetic; for the "Lovemark" (a local term for a specific dining experience), the table being attended to could be given even more attention, so that as a guest, the urge to wave to the waiter doesn't even arise… the food was really very good - the prices for the bottle of wine are very high in comparison to the great food… The ambiance and especially the view of Stuttgart, the castle and the castle square are phenomenal.

I wanted to end the day at the Cube with a coffee and waffles. Unfortunately, the restaurant upstairs was closed, even though the website said it would be open. So we decided to sit outside downstairs. Unfortunately, we had to wait 30 minutes for our coffee and cake. The piece of cake was still half-frozen and very, very small. The tartlets didn't taste good. We were very disappointed with the service, the price, and the taste.

I was here for dinner with friends, and unfortunately, it didn't live up to its promise at all. The main courses, in particular, were really poor value for money. We had cauliflower with wild rice that simply didn't taste of anything, and the truffle pasta was bland and completely unspectacular. The beurre blanc on the dishes unfortunately doesn't save it either. Better to look elsewhere in downtown Stuttgart.

Right from the location, Ambience, food, service everything so perfect. The money we pay for food is absolutely worth. Waah! what a delicious food. I have started with Suppe starter, thought this will only be best every other item on menu has upgrade in the taste. I am so happy to spend my birthday time here❤️ Definitely again!

We were at Cube Stuttgart for my birthday and had an absolutely perfect evening! Even the table in the front row by the window was a highlight – with a stunning view of Schlossplatz and the city. The menu was excellent across all five courses, and both the wine and non-alcoholic beverage pairings were perfectly matched to the dishes (especially the wine with the Thai soup). The service was exceptionally courteous, attentive, and professional, without being intrusive. A big thank you to the entire team for this special evening – we'd love to come back!

The customer care here was so bad! The worst we ever experienced in all the fine dinning l have been too and my friends said the same we didnt feel welcomed at all .We were four girls celebrating a birthday hier on a Saturday .We even had a 4 course menue and they knew it was a birthday but we still had to pay for bread and butter as we waited for the course menue which we thought should have been for free we mean the bread and butter .No one comes to explain the meals to you .They just drop them on the table and disappear.No smiling welcoming faces no one comes to check on you lf everything is Okay like other fine dinnings .We always leave alots of Tips but we just left so little out of our not being satisfied with the service.We asked ourselves could it have been our race but may be not it must be a General thing we left regretting having come there.For the birthday girl they just lit the candle and just dropped it there.and we were like lf it is nice we would recommend our other friends to go there but to be honest it is not worth it.our bill was around 500 euros we wanted to order more drinks but we left because we didn't feel satisfied with the service.

The food—pike-perch carpaccio, Thai soup, truffle pasta, tuna fillet, and dessert—were very good. The service was excellent! The view of Stuttgart is wonderful. The only reason we lose one star for the ambiance is the noisy atmosphere and the unsafe feeling surrounding the building.

This food was off the chain! Wifey and I had a date night here, and we were absolutely blown away by the food. The truffle pasta with beef was outstanding. And that romaine lettuce appetizer was delicious paired with the short rib. Our waiter was extremely polite. Will return. Tends to get a bit warm, so I wouldn't dress heavy.

Very refined, exceptional dishes with a fantastic view. Friendly service, although someone could have come by the table again after dessert. But you can always ask. Personally, I wouldn't have needed the background music. We'd be happy to come back anyway.

We ordered the vegetarian menu and were quite happy with it, everything was delicious and artistically plated. I chose three non-alcoholic pairings and I was fairly impressed with all three; I felt they were better suited to the dishes in general than the wine pairing that my partner got. The service was spectacular - attentive, yet gave us plenty of space and time to relax and enjoy and not be bothered. The atmosphere was not too busy, and the glass windows and view are breathtaking, the volume was medium to high side for such a venue but there was quite a loud concert going on outside and it still did not bother us.

The view over the Schlossplatz is unique. The food was also good, but we were a bit disappointed with the ribs. They were a bit dry and tough. Otherwise, everything was very tasty.

This time we only came for an aperitif, as part of a special evening program. My guests were particularly delighted by the fantastic view and the fabulous panoramic view of the city! And the very friendly service!

Yesterday, the two of us went to the CUBE Restaurant in Stuttgart for my 50th birthday. Unfortunately, the evening wasn't what we had hoped for: The bottle of red wine we ordered was initially forgotten, so we had to ask for it several times. All of the courses we ordered (starter, starter, and main course) were noticeably too salty for my taste, and my partner even felt unwell afterward. In the end, the espresso we ordered was also forgotten; instead of an apology, there was only an evasive explanation. Three different waiters took turns at our table, which made the service confusing. The wine bottle was placed at a separate table without any warning – an unusual behavior for us. Only after I asked were we allowed to have the bottle directly at our table. Overall, the service seemed attentive but clearly overwhelmed. For the price, we would have expected more professionalism and consistency. Therefore, I'm giving it two stars.

The food and service were good. The restaurant itself, unfortunately, has already become a bit run down. The cutlery was broken, the cloth napkins were torn, the leather upholstery on some of the chairs was sagging, and the protective film on the glass floor was also peeling off. Clearly, no investment has been made in a long time. This is inadequate for the prices being charged.

My Fine Dine Box took us to the Cube Restaurant yesterday. It was a lovely, inspiring evening with my friends. We were very pleased with the food, the service, and the ambiance, and we thoroughly enjoyed the evening. The acoustics in the spacious, open-plan restaurant were surprising; we were able to have a good conversation, listen to the music, and yet weren't able to hear the conversations at the tables next to and behind us. The nighttime panorama of Stuttgart is very impressive. Chapeau! We will definitely visit the Cube Restaurant again and highly recommend spending a lovely evening in this setting. Thank you. I. Enjoy the atmosphere of Königstrasse with a matcha.

This was our third time at Cube. Yesterday's food lacked that certain something, the wow factor we've always had before. I think it's due to the menu selection. The atmosphere was more reminiscent of a large cafeteria, and yesterday at dinner it was easily 28 degrees Celsius. We were sweating while eating. I think if you spend €350 for two people, the air conditioning could work. After yesterday's experience, I wouldn't bother driving 250 km.

A fantastic restaurant with a view over Stuttgart's Schlossplatz. Excellent cuisine, but definitely worth the price, including vegetarian and vegan options. Top-notch service, and special requests are also possible.

An impressive ambiance combined with excellent service. However, the cuisine was too experimental or even playful for me personally. For example, I don't think popcorn has any place next to a beef fillet. The combination just didn't work in terms of flavor. I would have preferred a bit more down-to-earthness in other dishes as well. Furthermore, I didn't find the wine pairing consistently suited the menu. All in all, though, it's still worth a visit.

I was truly impressed by the creative cuisine, as well as the professional, friendly service from the consistently young staff. The ambiance is also pleasantly modern. The wine advice could be better, but given the excellent selection, that wasn't so bad. Unfortunately, the tables in the back rows are awkwardly positioned, meaning only one guest can enjoy the beautiful view, while the other one across from them unfortunately doesn't. All in all, I will definitely be back 🌟🌟🌟

A great recommendation from a friend in Stuttgart. After a long drive, this is a spectacular and delicious place to chill in the heart of Stuttgart. The view of Schlossplatz, the open-air jazz festival stage (unfortunately, I could only see part of it), wonderful food, wine, and drinks. The scallops are absolutely delicious. I never want to stop enjoying them 🤩👍👏.

1 star for the perfect view 1 star for the friendly staff 3 stars deducted for the food. A shame. Serving something like this is truly audacious. It looks beautiful, but the taste is unbearable. The price doesn't matter if it tastes good.

The view from restaurant Cube is second to none in Stuttgart. Every dish we had was outstanding and left my wife and I feeling very satisfied with our choice. Our server Robert was very helpful in explaining the menu, and was overall extremely pleasant in having conversation. I would recommend wearing some light comfortable clothes because it does get a little warm in the restaurant. Perfect for a date night with your loved one, or a small intimate meal with friends. The scallop dish and the yellowfin tuna w/risotto deserve special mention. It may be the best yellowfin i have had in years.

The CUBE Restaurant is located in the heart of Stuttgart, directly on Schlossplatz, in the Stuttgart Art Museum, which opened in 2005 and was designed by architects Hascher and Jehle (Berlin). Its location on the upper floor, approximately 30 meters above the ground, and its completely glazed exterior offer fascinating views of the city of Stuttgart, from Schlossplatz to Villa Reitzenstein and the TV Tower. Dining in a more airy and beautiful setting is rare. We were there not for the first time; this time for lunch. The service was pleasantly relaxed, very professional, and competent. Even when a minor issue arose—which can always happen—it was resolved very charmingly, and everything else worked perfectly, as always. When we asked about the food, we received very detailed information, and the conversations regarding it were very pleasant and informative. This also applied to the wines on offer. Lunch was very good; we opted for the set menu, one with fish and one with meat. We started with a very aromatic spicy Thai soup with lemongrass. Spring onions | Shitake mushrooms. It tasted very good; the combination of pleasant spiciness, acidity, and the freshness of the lemongrass was exciting. Both the fish – Norwegian salmon with dashi risotto | edamame | snow peas – and the meat – teriyaki beef with beef strips | sesame vegetables | basmati rice – were both very successful main courses. The meat, for example, was cooked to a perfect medium rare, with the not-too-overly sweet teriyaki sauce combined with Mediterranean vegetables and black sesame seeds. A light and digestible dish, especially for lunch, that won us over with its Asian aroma. For dessert, there was an apricot mojito, served in a cocktail glass, light and airy with a coconut topping, apricot ice cream and cream, berries, and crispy chocolate. Simply delicious. The CUBE is always worth a visit. The prices are absolutely reasonable for the location, the service, and the food. The option of an upscale, relaxed lunch is also nice. The Michelin Guide recommendation is absolutely fitting. We look forward to our next visit!

We celebrated a family event with 18 people. We received fantastic support during the planning phase and during lunch: professional, forward-thinking, and heartfelt. And the food was delicious. Overall, summary: it couldn't have been better!

We were there for lunch. Fine cuisine! Great food. Absolutely delicious! The dessert, an apricot mojito, was a dream. Excellent espresso. Spectacular views over the Palace Square, the New Palace, and the roofs of the Old Palace and the Collegiate Church.

Casual dining with a panoramic view – not to be missed! Prominent location and well-to-do clientele The Cube's prime location alone attracts many visitors. It is therefore highly recommended to make reservations in advance, and try to secure a seat by the window. During our visit on a Whitsun Sunday, the clientele consisted of various celebrating local groups of different backgrounds, as well as domestic and foreign tourists, none of whom seemed impoverished. During the week, the Cube is said to be a great place to impress and pamper out-of-town business partners. Creative cuisine and dedicated service The Cube not only impresses with its ambiance and panoramic view, but also with its excellent culinary offerings. Both the creative cuisine and the dedicated service are unpretentious, yet of a very high standard. The lack of frills in all areas creates a relaxed atmosphere. Not only were we greeted very warmly at reception, but our friendly waiter served and looked after us throughout our entire stay in a very courteous, yet unobtrusive manner, and always attentive, yet never intrusive. He clearly enjoyed his work, which was also reflected in the guests. Food and drink menu with a very good structure The menu is pleasantly straightforward and leaves nothing to be desired. This is especially true since not only are pre-configured three- to five-course meals – with and without meat – offered, but you can also select individual components à la carte. Some dishes are available in vegetarian and even vegan versions. A drink pairing can be booked. We opted for a starter and a main course, which was so plentiful that we even skipped dessert. But that shouldn't stop anyone from choosing one of the set menus. The extensive wine list is impressive not only because it offers several wines from top regional winemakers, but also because an above-average number of wines can be ordered by the glass. The prices are generally high, but reasonable and justified for the service offered. No-frills food at its finest For my appetizer, I ordered the "Tuna Ceviche," which was a no-frills delight in itself. But the flavor was also perfectly balanced, allowing the excellent sashimi-quality tuna to fully appreciate its flavor. The pieces could have been cut a little more evenly, but that's complaining at a high level. I also had nothing to complain about with my main course – "Two Kinds of Lamb." The ragout, perfectly served separately, was wonderfully tender and reflected the chef's individual touch in the seasoning. The loin of lamb, presented not capriciously but very beautifully, was cooked to the desired degree, and all components were flawlessly combined. The moghrabieh was also harmonious and matched the dish, but I wasn't particularly enthusiastic about it – less would have been enough for me. I still think a polenta fritta goes best with lamb 😉. The Pinot Blanc GG "Herzogenberg" from the Wöhrwag winery was a delight to drink and proved to be a perfect accompaniment to all the dishes. Conclusion For anyone willing to dig a little deeper into their pockets for an exceptional gastronomic experience, the "Cube" is the right choice. The value for money is excellent. I can easily imagine a return visit.

Great food and a great setting. Just be aware that on warm days, it gets very hot even in the restaurant, which can be tiring.

Cube, with its new menu and fresh service, is a safe bet. The music is a bit too loud for my taste, and the service is lively. The food is of the usual high standard, with some exceptional wine pairings. But the ambiance more than makes up for it. I'd happily return.

Phenomenal view of the Palace Square

A truly special restaurant in the heart of the Kunstmuseum: modern, stylish, and with a magnificent view over Stuttgart. The food? Unusual, creative, and of the highest quality – every course was a real eye-catcher and perfectly balanced in terms of flavor. The presentation was impressive, almost too beautiful to eat – yet still full of flavor. If you love fine dining with a touch of art, this is the place for you. The service was okay, but not quite up to the standard of the kitchen – friendly, but a bit inattentive at times. Overall, a fantastic experience – not just for the palate, but also for the eyes.

CUBE was a fantastic place for dinner for my birthday. The staff was extremely friendly and the food was delicious. The timing of each dish was done well so that we didn't feel like we were being rushed. Also our waiter was very kind in explaining each dish in great detail when delivered.

How should I praise the perfect menu I had here at CUBE, I would say it's better than most Michelin stars gourmet restaurants, period!!! Appetizer is seaweed seasoned with Eastern style sauce and mixed with cashew, the delicate taste came along with crunchy texture, what a good way to start. Followed by Canadian Pike Carppacio, Spicy Thai Soup, Scallop, New Zealand Fillet (medium rare), and ended with Apricot Mojito, everything was not just perfect, astonishingly delicious. Will definitely bring my family and friends here soon.

We had dinner at this wonderful restaurant on May 24th and had an excellent meal! My husband had the set menu and I had the à la carte menu. The dishes were beautifully presented and everything tasted excellent. The wines that accompanied each course were perfectly matched and were served promptly and at the perfect temperature by the excellent service! Hats off, and keep up the good work 👍👍

Returned after good experience 6 yrs ago. Views of Stuttgart surroundings hills still great …. but food and service were a BIG disappointment. Arrived early to nearly empty restaurant and asked to be seated “somewhere near” windows / view. We were well-dressed (art museum attire; no sneakers or caps) ... but our request was denied (all other tables booked). We were seated max distance from windows, beside kitchen. Mid May so I chose white asparagus starter that l know and love in that season. Plate that arrived was SO disappointing - not fresh, not tender, no flavor - that (when pressed by hostess) I had to ask if it came out of a tin or jar, it was that bad. Main was “lamb 2 ways” at EU_50 each plate. We are Australian born - KNOW and LOVE lamb. One way was grilled “odd cut” (a small cube of tenderloin at best) which tasted OK but needed much better support than the single not-couscous mess that it was served on. 2nd way was more interesting lamb off cuts in a small cup of foamed middle eastern spices. But it was luke warm / cold and the small lamb cuts were dry and stringy (more like mutton than lamb). When we left the restaurant some 2 hrs later, the 8-top tables immed by windows were indeed fully taken. But more than half of the remaining 20-30 tables - ALL closer to the view / windows than our table - were still empty. We had spent EU_200 and came away feeling disrespected and shocked by the poor quality of food and service we received. Go for the views and a pre-dinner drink … but go somewhere else for fine dining in Stuttgart.

The ambiance and view are fantastic. The view is from a mid-altitude location. The food isn't Michelin-star quality, but unfortunately the prices are. You can eat better in Stuttgart, but you won't find a view.

Everything was delicious, and the service at our tables was friendly. However, we found it unacceptable that we were watched through the window as we searched for the entrance through the turnstile, and that no one showed us where to go, despite eye contact. Our coats weren't taken or offered to us either. The guests who arrived after us had their jackets taken away immediately. It's a shame that this spoiled our otherwise excellent impression right from the start. The food is excellent.

If you want to experience Stuttgart in the midst of city life, sitting here is like sitting in front of a stage – with a view of the Schlossplatz, the New Palace, and the lively hustle and bustle of Königstrasse. It's like a painting that's constantly evolving. The architecture of the Cube is stylish, clear, and high-quality. Nevertheless, for me, it's still missing the final design touches. It would be nice if someone with a truly keen sense of interior design could contribute – beyond the sober architectural style.
