Best pizza in Kassel if you want it Napoleonic :) No seriously. It's been a long time since I've had such an incredibly good pizza. The edges rose perfectly and the garnish was super fresh and delicious. Prices are completely reasonable and I would pay them again and again. Ambience is very typical of the area. There is a lot of emphasis on aesthetics and art (not quite my thing, but you go there for the food :)) Tables were a bit small for plates, especially if you have drinks with you. The service was great. The waiter was very friendly and was happy to advise you on the food or wine selection. Always my pleasure.

Good authentic Neapolitan pizza in Kassel. Good ingredients, good taste, just a good pizza but nothing special. Unfortunately, the atmosphere is a bit loud and the staff is relatively unfriendly and talks at a volume that makes it impossible to eat in peace. Apart from that, very tasty

Die people. We enjoyed two pizzas, one with vegetables and one with salami. Very tasty pizza, relatively light even though we struggled to finish it. Important cornice, perhaps a little too exaggerated. It is inevitable to leave a large part of it on the plate. In any case we were served with kindness and friendliness. Clean, well-lit and comfortable environment, without terrible music in the background. Unfortunately, however, we were unable to pay with the cards we had from the Mastercard or Visa circuit. They only accept a local card which I don't really understand what it is. It was very embarrassing and I have to say that luckily we had some cash in tow. Two bottles of water and a large beer for a total of €40.50. They use a delicious extra virgin olive oil made in Abruzzo. Apart from the problem (unfortunately a bit serious) of payment, all the tables seemed satisfied.

Gave a completely burnt pizza. This store has bad reviews deleted. This means that the rating does not reflect the actual quality. It's probably more like 4.0. In order to appear creative, the operators pack beetroot into dishes that have no taste at all.

Unfriendly gentleman, we were 4 people, they simply sent us away because we did not have a reservation. This could also be communicated in a friendly manner. They also looked at us very strangely. Ridiculous!!! We felt insulted with 2 small children.

Saßen draußen, und der Kellner hat ein paar Meter weiter gestanden und geraucht, wirkte insgesamt sehr unfreundlich, und wir hatten nicht das Gefühl, willkommen zu sein. Die Pizza war okay, aber kein Vergleich zu einer wirklichen italienischen Pizza für deutlich weniger Geld bekommt man in Kassel eine bessere Pizza und besseren Service. Cappuccino schmeckt wie aus einem Vollautomaten, und der Espresso kam kalt. Geht woanders hin!

Food and drinks were great. The pizza is freshly prepared in a wood-fired oven and is one of the best in Kassel thanks to the exceptional combinations. The shop is nice, the atmosphere is nice, BUT: where the food is good, the service is unfortunately catastrophic. We would have been happy to receive answers other than “You can see that it’s full?!” or “You’re in a pizzeria!” when asked about intolerances, portion sizes and waiting times. Maybe the gentleman had already received more than enough tips and wanted to prevent any more, but either way a little training in manners would be desirable.

Absolutely great. The service is courteous and kind to you. The food is an absolute experience in terms of both quality and taste. In my personal opinion, you get the best pizza in Hesse here. The price-performance ratio can only be described as understated. A dish of this quality might as well cost twice as much. All in all a very nice visit. Definitely worth recommending. Absolutely nothing to complain about. I will definitely come again.

Dear ladies and gentlemen of the Solo Restaurant, I would like to thank you for the great evening and the very tasty dishes that I was allowed to serve. The waitresses in the restaurant are very, very friendly and accommodating and are also spontaneously willing to take selfies. The food is excellent and highly recommended [top recommendation Pizza Sud]. The ambience in this restaurant is very good, there are many different areas where everyone can feel comfortable.

The first photo is from Instagram and the second is actually a pizza. The pizza is tasty but completely undercooked. We couldn't pay with a credit card, had to find a place to withdraw money and were paying interest on it.

Well, unfortunately I'm disappointed, but the sanitary facilities are super clean, although I was there at 11:30.

The pizza dough is unsurpassed, but the toppings are unfortunately a bit weak in taste. Unfortunately, a different wine was brought to me than what I ordered. The dessert we ordered only came after we asked twice. Despite the circumstances, I would recommend eating there once.

Pizza great, prices just okay, pasta delicious, but pasta portions far too small. Here, not even two portions are enough to fill you up. Dessert was okay, the elderflower cream was too yoghurt-heavy for us. Otherwise we would have liked a larger and more varied selection of drinks.

Here you will find exceptional dishes, including plenty for vegetarians. Really delicious. You can sit outside or inside. It's very warm inside. The staff is very friendly. You don't have to wait long for your food. We'd love to come back.

As a random customer who was hungry, we were amazed at the unusual compositions with fresh herbs and selected ingredients. Dishes: plentiful and tasty 5 stars. Drinks 4 stars, that could be better. Service is top, the running around of six waiters is a bit annoying. Still 5 stars, we would come again.

A good pizza for Kassel conditions! (Unfortunately the edge was a bit raw several times) In other cities (e.g. Cologne) it would be rather mediocre! (Don't get me wrong, but Kassel unfortunately has a lot of catching up to do when it comes to culinary delights!) I think the antipasti was great, really tasty and well chosen!

Salvatore is very friendly and accommodating and always makes it possible to find a space!!! We always feel very comfortable here and are usually there for dinner every 14 days!!!! You can't be sure that the food will be good when you go here, sometimes you get an actually good pizza, sometimes you get a charred coal of a pizza, tasteless and stale. Who wants to eat in a place where you can't be sure that you're paying for something tasty? Inattentive, uncaring service, the only good thing about it is it's rather quick.

We used to really enjoy coming here, but we've been really dissatisfied several times now and won't go back. The pizza was burnt black in places and the service, even though there wasn't a lot going on, took a long time to come to the table and seemed annoyed. Too bad.

Been incredibly disappointed! The waiter was a bit unfriendly but ok, it happens sometimes, pasta was a real disaster and antipasti too. The money was such a shame for us, apparently you can only order pizza there. But the location and ambience are great!

I personally didn't really like the food but the rest of us did 🤷🏼‍♂️ The service was nice and we could even share some laughs. The only thing fundamentally wrong was how hot it was inside. It wasn't cold outside either but not as hot. They could at least cool it so you can comfortably spend some hours at this place. It feels a little off to still give 5 stars considering the severe temperature problem you suffer inside of the restaurant. But having no problems with the staff and there also being seats outside I feel just fine doing this. When coming back I wish this problem to be solved.

Here you can get very unconventional pizzas. SOLO is an outstandingly good Italian restaurant. There is a manageable selection, but very good classics and unusual ingredients. The dough for the stone oven pizza is particularly delicious and fluffy. The interior of the restaurant is very chic. You can also sit comfortably outside. A rather simply furnished Italian restaurant, but it has a lot to offer. Here you get 100 percent organic food, from pepper to meat, from tomatoes to pasta, from meat to cheese. And the two times we were there it was incredibly delicious. One day we had the best lasagna we've ever eaten out, and the other day we had penne with cream sauce, mushrooms and ham plus salad. Really good - classic, calm without any escapades, you have to be able to do that first. And the great thing: it's not even expensive - especially when you consider that it's 100 percent organic. The restaurant is rather simple, everything is nice and clean. Only the one gentleman who served us these two days was a bit stuffy. As if he would rather have a vacation. It was friendly in itself, but somehow his mind was somewhere else. Nevertheless: if you want to have a good Italian meal in Kassel, then please come here.

What can I say - I'm a fan! I can't understand the occasional bad reviews. Everything was always ok with us and the staff is always friendly. And if something gets lost in the hustle and bustle or takes longer... ...live and let live! The store is always busy and many are repeat visitors. So Team Solo seems to be doing something right after all... And when the temperatures get warmer, it's a great spot to enjoy the evening "on the street".

We enjoy going solo regularly and very much. The food is exceptional and delicious, the pizza is No. 1 in Kassel. The espresso at the end is worth it!

30€ for two carelessly prepared pizzas. Great oven, the guy standing in front of it just seems to have no idea what he's doing. Raw on the top, black on the bottom and every cook does it better after a week of practice. Pizza hasn't risen properly and then they try to hide the inability to do so with a lot of dough on the edge. Ingredient selection average. Waiter can't change €50. All in all a straight 6 for the price.

After we had dinner with several people on site for our birthday and waited over 2 hours for the pizza, which unfortunately wasn't cooked yet and was completely soggy, we had to discuss it with the service and the chef. DISASTERFUL food, the first vegan pizza came with tuna, not cooked on top and burnt on the bottom. Was swapped. The second vegan pizza came with the bottom again burnt and half-cooked on top. Distinct dough flavor. It was quite a struggle to even get the food swapped, so no more third attempts. The service person was pretty aggressive. Nice interior but way too loud. People barely understand each other.

Such incompetent service, I never knew that from Solo. Younger new colleague, was really nice, but only came to us after 15 minutes, accepted the drinks and wanted to get someone to eat. Nobody came, one of the older waiters was standing at the entrance, we look at him and obviously give him the signal that we've been waiting for a long time, he comes to us and says girls, this isn't a McDonalds here. I've never heard anything so cheeky when I just wanted to order food. And then delivered a heartless service. Food was delicious as always.

The pizzas are anything but Napoletana. Dough is neither crispy nor fluffy and doesn't even have any bubbles when cut. I'm really not fussy about pizzas because I even like the ones at the Dönermann for €8, but for the price you can expect a reasonable, authentic pizza and anyone who praises themselves with Napoletana in their name should also deliver. Food solid 3/10. in short, more appearance than reality. Ambiance was nice but that was it. Pizza dough, however, was a total glitch.

Great service, best pizza in town! We received our pizza very quickly and were thrilled! The airy dough even makes the edge perfectly edible. We were even able to enjoy the sunset outside. Definitely a clear recommendation for anyone who is looking for a very special pizza.

Very tasty pizza and salad. Unfortunately there is a point deduction due to the service. While I'm eating and sitting comfortably with the family, I don't feel like listening to insults being shouted non-stop in Italian towards the kitchen/pizza maker. Toxic workplaces are unpleasant, and the employees sometimes seem annoyed by the way they work. It should be clear that guests understand what is being said. Super weird and uncomfortable to hear and experience.

A small, cute restaurant in Kassel. It was a bit strange at the beginning as some orders were taken even though the rest weren't ready, but the food was sensational. The pizza was amazing and the starter with bread was also delicious. Small menu which is good and something for everyone. Gladly again.

Yesterday I visited Solo with my friends and I was more than overwhelmed, both the food and the service were outstanding. My friends had the Neapolitan pizza which they really enjoyed and I had the pasta. I'd love to come back!

The pizza was lukewarm to cold. The dough was like bubble gum. Spices were also missing. But the dessert was very tasty. We won't be coming back.
