Honestly, very disappointing! It's questionable how over 4 stars come together here. It is very narrow and loud, but you can still tolerate that if you are traveling with children. The pancakes are so greasy that you can taste the oil rather than anything else! Even after giving it back once, it didn't get any better, just more burnt! Prices are overpriced! The red path runs through to the drinks. An Aperol for 8€ not worth it. The light is poorly tapped as there is hardly any carbonation. All in all, it's a shame and bitter!

I was there today with a couple who were friends of mine to have a café. We were served in a friendly and courteous manner. Even our dogs got the finest treat. The latte macchiato was very good. Our friend ate a pancake, which was very tasteful and delicious.

Absolutely deserves 5 stars and more. I have histamine intolerance. I was allowed to look at the menu before we even decided to eat there, I really got great advice. The service was super friendly and the food was really good too. That was the first time that I really felt comfortable in a restaurant :) I'll come back more often

We were there on Wednesday lunchtime and were more than thrilled. The wait staff was super friendly, really enjoyed their work and passed on this good feeling to their guests. The food was very tasty (varieties of schnitzel) and the atmosphere, especially with a log fire in winter, was cozy and easy to feel good about. We were thrilled and will definitely come back when we are in Kassel again! Thank you very much again!!

Good day, We were at your place on February 1st, 2025 to eat pancakes, like everything there are different flavors! Personally, I didn't like my pancake with banana that much. Then my siblings had cherries, which I personally didn't like that much either; there are much better products out there. But who we particularly liked was Diane. She deserved the grade A. I had dinner here with my wife on Saturday evening. I had the Hawaiian schnitzel and my wife had the crab pancakes, everything was delicious! Almost impossible to make the schnitzel😅✌🏻 Prices are completely okay! The service was extremely friendly! I think we were served by the boss. All in all a successful visit. We have been here several times and would love to come back!

Very nice, friendly and courteous service. Had a dog with me, which wasn't a problem at all. Got something to drink and even a small bag of treats. The food was very good. A pancake with sheep's cheese and then one with hot raspberries and cream. Plus tea each. Very good and would love to come back.

Me and my wife ate here and it was wonderful. The service was great, our extremely nice and courteous waitress, especially Ms. Diane, left nothing to be desired. The food tasted excellent. In addition to the dog-friendliness (a bowl of water and a treat bag with high-quality treats were brought to us without asking!) and exemplary hospitality, I would like to emphasize that the pancake dough is generally lactose-free and even GLUTEN-FREE upon request! You really look for it for a long time in Kassel, and the pancakes are simply sensationally delicious and worth recommending! The "Pancake" is beautifully located between Fulda and Karlsaue, the furnishings are homely and cozy (with a fireplace), the toilets are very clean and the menu leaves nothing to be desired, even for hearty connoisseurs! Incredible restaurant, the food is of course not healthy food but for someone who likes sweet food it is the perfect restaurant, the waiters have a lot of fun to do with a lot of heart, if you haven't eaten here yet you should definitely do it

The pancake was quite dark, almost black in places. But the taste is ok. The ice cream was rather cheap, store-bought vanilla ice cream. It was too expensive for what it was.

The entire staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, the food is very tasty and the place is inviting. They are very kind to children and dogs are also welcome (as long as they behave 😀) here it is more like a family than a stranger

The Pancake is a permanent address in Kassel that is worth visiting. The sweet or savory pancakes offer plenty of variety and I would recommend everyone to dare and try the non-standard pancakes with cinnamon and sugar, because I am sure you will be very pleasantly surprised. The service is great, very friendly and committed. I can actually only think of one thing that I would improve about the pancake: no matter where we have sat in the outdoor area, everything seems to be a smoking area, so we had cigarette smoke wafting around our noses every time we ate. That's why I don't like sitting outside at all, even though it's quite nice on the Fulda. There is plenty of vegetarian choice, the restaurant is barrier-free and there are plenty of parking spaces.

Absolut empfehlenswert! Wir waren zu viert im House of Pancake. Es fing schon mit der super freundlichen telefonischen Reservierung an. Schon da konnte man hören , daß hier Service gross geschrieben wird und der Gast sich willkommen fühlt. Wir also hin und genau das Gefühl wurde den ganzen Abend fortgeführt. 10 von 5 Sterne , einfach top. Gegessen haben wir Schnitzel und Pancakes.Leute ich kann euch beides nur empfehlen..da wir es nicht geschafft hatten aufzuessen, wurde es sofort eingepackt. Preislich völlig gerechtfertigt. Atmosphäre und Lage mit dem besten Service (für uns Diane zuständig), einfach klasse. Also wer hier meckert sollte Zuhause bleiben und kein Tisch blockieren der für Gäste die wie wir einen wunderschönen Abend mit Allerbesten Service und Essen genießen möchten. Wir kommen wieder. Simply a dream! I've eaten here a few times and it's always a real treat. The pancakes are fluffy, perfectly baked and there is a great selection of toppings - simply heavenly! I would particularly like to highlight the lovely waitress Diane, who welcomed us very warmly and served us with a smile. She is super friendly, attentive and makes you feel comfortable straight away. A big compliment to the entire team – I always enjoy coming back!

I know it's different in Mühlheim Saarn was a really great pancake house with good staff and delicious pancakes well served, the sweet ones weren't to be despised either! Drinks were brought to the table by train!

Habe mich auf einen schönen Abend gefreut da ich schon einige Pfannkuchenhäuser besucht habe . Dieses wurde leider nicht erfüllt die "Omelette" waren recht klein und hatten nur die Form eines Pfannkuchens . Sie waren in reichlich Fett gebraten welches auch darin blieb. Wir sind nur zu Besuch und haben das Glück nicht noch einmal dort zu speisen. Die Bedienung war freundlich. Das Ambiente war schön dank der Fulda die in Sichtweite war.

Voller Erwartungen sind wir zum Pancake gefahren. Zunächst fielen uns die überteuerten Getränkepreise auf🙄 Aber unser Anlass waren ja schließlich die Pfannkuchen ! Tja, die Auswahl sehr vielseitig und dann bestellten wir einen Diavolo und einen mit Spinat, Schafskäse und Zwiebeln… Als die Teller kamen waren wir von der eigentlichen Größe doch sehr überrascht - Kuchenteller, aber keine 24 cm… Sehr fettig, sparsam belegt und geschmacklich nicht wirklich überragend…beim Diavolo wurde der Geschmack mit scharfer Fertigsoße etwas übertünscht… Fazit: Absolut kein Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und keinen erneuten Besuch wert!

The dogs immediately get water and a bag of treats, and the kids get a lollipop and a round of running and playing. Great rooms and the winter garden is also really nice. It's usually worth making a reservation because the store is busy, but that's no surprise. We always enjoy coming here ♡

The service 5/5 The location 5/5 Unfortunately the food doesn't work at all, I had ordered a Schmandschnitzel and at first glance the portion was great, but the second look showed breading with extremely thin meat inside, so the customer was probably deceived about the portion size. However, the portion of fries that came with it was great, but just way too salty. Without a third drink you come close to dehydration. The portion of the salad was good, but the cheap canned corn and the salad bag were disappointing in terms of taste. So if you're looking for a nice atmosphere to perhaps drink a few beers and wines, this is the place for you, but if you want good food, this is definitely the wrong place for you.

I can only explain the good reviews from drink customers or drunk writers. It's a shame that there was actually meat between the breading of the schnitzel. So you couldn't call it vegan. The salt, on the other hand, had enough potatoes in between to identify it as fries. The portion of fries was big enough to kill an adult if you didn't drink two liters of water for €20. For an extra two euros, you could even dip three fries in ketchup and mayo before having to lick the salt straight. You don't come here to eat, but to enjoy the view while drinking. Staff 10/10 but they probably don't need to eat here. Hence the good mood.

There are particularly good pancakes here and a huge selection of them. But the schnitzels are also highly recommended. Then the pancake is right next to the Auebad and if you walk across the street you come to Karlsaue. This is a nice location - perhaps the outside area could be illuminated a little better and another roof installed - but 5 stars are clearly given - very good.

Today (8/20/24, shortly after 12 p.m.) I went to the Pfannkuchenhaus Kassel for the very first time, quite spontaneously. I'll keep it short: My pancake with tomato and mozzarella was served super quickly and was very tasty. I would particularly like to emphasize the extremely friendly and attentive service. You could clearly see that the young lady was enjoying her work. That's how it's fun! All in all, my impression was very positive and I will definitely come back! :)

Was tasty and plentiful. A pepper cream schnitzel that lives up to the name and you won't just find the pepper in the name. The sauce separates and doesn't drown the generous amount of fries, making the meal fun and filling. We'd love to come back.

If you're looking for great service, you've come to the right place. Special praise goes to Diane and her son. You don't often receive such a warm welcome anymore. The dog also immediately received a water bowl and a small bag of dog food. There's nothing to complain about about the food and the view of the water... what more do you need. We each ate a Hawaiian schnitzel and tuna pancakes. The schnitzel came with Röstitaler instead of fries for an additional charge of €1.50. There was also ketchup or mayo for €1. The schnitzel was tender and delicious. However, it was served with cheap sliced ​​cheese gratinated and a ready-made sauce. Unfortunately, the Röstitaler were also frozen goods The salad wasn't anything special but it was tasty It was okay, but the pancake mainly tasted like an omelette.

We were there with four people and enjoyed the beautiful ambience, Diane's good service and the delicious food. “Popeye” tested on recommendation, a highlight. The other pancakes were also great. Finally, I ordered a pancake with banana and chocolate sauce and divided it into four, which wasn't a problem. It wasn't the first time we were there and definitely not the last time. Keep it up :-)

Die Bedienungen waren ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend. Daher freuten wir uns auf die bestellten Pfannkuchen. Heute sollte einer mit Salami und Käse und der zweite mit Lachs belegt sein. Für Preise von über 13.- bzw. 15.- Euro erwarteten wir nicht nur leckere Gerichte; wir wollten natürlich auch satt werden. Nach wenigen Minuten standen beide Portionen auf dem Tisch. Geschmacklich waren die Pfannkuchen ok -mehr aber auch nicht. Als ärgerlich empfand ich die servierten Portionsgrößen. Ich hatte weder einen Kinderteller, noch eine Vorspeise bestellt. Von diesen Portionen wird ein Erwachsener nicht satt. Auf meine diesbezügliche Ansprache wurde leider nur ausweichend reagiert. Das ist schade, zumal die Lage des Restaurant ausgesprochen einladend ist.

Saugut, riesige Auswahl, beste Qualität, Geschmack vom Feinsten!, irre Zusammenstellungen, wo gibt es sonst in ganz Kassel Berliner Weiße??!!, supernette, cooole, schnelle, "freche" Bedienung, "menschliche" Preise. Wir sind nicht so oft am Auedamm, aber das wird unser 1. Restaurant (süß oder Herz-haft) wenn wir in dieser Gegend sind !!!

We spontaneously went to dinner there on Friday afternoon when the weather was good. The pancake house was busy. The food came without a long wait and we really enjoyed it (sweet pancakes). Special requests were no problem at all (cinnamon and sugar were provided upon request). The staff was very friendly and not intrusive. The atmosphere is cozy and the seats facing the street are no problem because of the sun. We've now eaten here for the second time and will stop by again in the future for a Japs on pancakes!

If you think you can eat a small portion of fries beforehand and then pancakes, think again, the portions are huge. I love these thin, crispy fries. Today we had burgers and currywurst, the homemade sauce is delicious and has a pleasant spiciness. Apple pancakes were then available to take away; you can warm them up in the oven if you get a little hungry later 😉
