SOLO Bistro & Café & Bar in Cuxhaven

Very nice cafe-bistro. The food and cake were beautifully presented and delicious. The staff very polite and accommodating. My dogs were welcome and were immediately provided with a bowl of water 👍. I can fully recommend this cafe.

The Café Cene Bene in Cuxhaven is an absolute insider tip! As soon as you enter, you immediately feel welcome thanks to the loving furnishings. The ambience is incredibly charming and designed with so much attention to detail. The staff is super friendly and makes you feel completely comfortable. The food is also a highlight - every dish is not only a delight for the palate, but is also served in an aesthetically pleasing manner. The cake is world class! The salad was prepared with a lot of love and tasted great! The service would have liked a smile or two (looked a bit serious), but was super friendly. We can definitely recommend the café and would be happy to come back.

We had a wonderful morning. Breakfast at Cene bene was an experience from start to finish. The love is in the details here. You can happily spend a few rainy hours here.

Really a great place to feel good. We were a little late for breakfast (until 12:30), but that wasn't a problem at all. Very fresh ingredients and great service. I asked for an extra strong espresso and that's what I got. He was absolutely great. By the way: Access is barrier-free, but not the toilet.

We discovered this small, cozy café while visiting from Hamburg and were absolutely thrilled! From the lovingly selected and deliciously prepared dishes, the beautiful ambience and the unusual decoration, a mix of vintage, Persian elements and modern items. We felt very comfortable and had a really good meal :-)

Small, beautifully presented café near the Ringelnatz Museum. We had a latte macchiato, a Fritz Kola and a Napoleon cake. The latte was super delicious, the cake (with vanilla cream and puff pastry) was recommended by us as the best cake in the café. This was very tasty, he didn't promise too much. In terms of price, it's completely okay. The cake cost over €5, but it was a large piece. The service was very friendly and they immediately helped us to make room for our buggy. Highly recommended.

Very cozy cafe with high quality drinks and food. Top service. Would go back in a heartbeat and can only recommend it. There are a few small tables outside where you can sit very nicely. There is a very large and free parking lot next to the cafe. You can park there - except when there is a market. I think Wednesday and Saturday?!

Totally harmonious, cozy and relaxed atmosphere. Great furnishings, appropriate, unobtrusive music at a pleasant volume and an exceptionally creative presentation of the food. I even loved the dishes. We "stumbled upon" Solo by chance and I had the best omelet ever here (the one on the menu). We will definitely come back on our next vacation!

A very nice and modern breakfast restaurant with a delicious, high-quality breakfast menu and friendly service staff. However, the prices were far too high for the small portions. We couldn't get enough from one dish and we still paid over €40 for breakfast including drinks (2 people) There are also completely different prices on the website. For example, the omelette cost €8.50, which was stated on the website as €5.00, or the avocado bread cost €11.50 instead of €6.50. (The slice of bread was also very thinly sliced) That was a bit of a shame.

Finally no burgers and fries.!!! This small, fine bistro with a mega cozy factor impresses with its fresh, unusual cuisine. Anyone who longs for vegan cuisine in Cuxhaven will get their money's worth here. And they stay very within limits. Go there, it would be such a shame if such a gem no longer cooks and bakes.

Unusual breakfast - very tasty and, above all, fresh. If you like, you can also get oat milk with the hot drinks. The atmosphere is small and clear, yet very attractive and cozy. The cake also looked particularly delicious. Unfortunately we were so full that we couldn't try it.

We spontaneously had breakfast here on Sunday and it was phenomenal. Extremely friendly staff and a pleasant, homely atmosphere await you here. The coffees and coffee specialties are very good. The cakes look really good, as does everything that comes out of the kitchen. A reservation is absolutely recommended. Everything was clean and tidy. Paying with a credit card was no problem. We would love to come back 😋

I chose the café because of the very good reviews and was therefore very excited. Unfortunately my impression was pretty mediocre. The staff was not particularly friendly, but rather short and tense. The food is delicious, but the portions are very small and quite expensive... and it was a shame that everything was brought to you at different times so you couldn't eat together. Nevertheless, the restaurant has a nice ambience and potential!

Wunderschönes Café/Bistro. 🧿 Die Einrichtung ist absolut besonders und einladend, wir haben uns von der ersten Minute an sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Musik, heute im 20er/30er Stil, macht ein charmantes Flair aus. Kuchen und Kaffee waren top und mit viel Liebe angerichtet. Besonders gefallen hat uns die kleine Rosennote im Puderzucker zu dem Käsekuchen mit Mandeln und Karamell. Das Café Solo ist für uns ab sofort ein echter Geheimtipp. ✨️

Nice and cosey place, and the food was really good. The style and music was wonderful. I regret only that I didn't get a chance to taste their coffee, but it was late and we needed to get going. The food took a bit long to get, but they us a complimentary cheese - which was nice.

Tolles Café 😊 Das Ambiente ist traumhaft schön und der Service sehr freundlich. Auf der Speisekarte sind viele tolle und außergewöhnliche Gerichte zu finden. Ich habe das Gebäck getestet und es war wirklich sehr gut. Es ist alles selbstgemacht. Das Café ist aufjedenfall eine Empfehlung und einen erneuten Besuch wert ☺️🙏

Sehr ungewöhnliche Entstehungsgeschichte, wie es zur Eröffnung des Restaurants kam. Der Besitzer ist Apotheker und serviert kontinentaleuropäische Speisen zu sehr moderaten Preisen und sehr guter Qualität. Hier steht der Gast noch im Vordergrund. In Kürze wird die Speisekarte erweitert und es gibt afrikanische Gerichte. Die Inspiration holt sich der Besitzer bei all seinen kulinarischen Begegnungen im Ausland. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder. Klein, stilvoll mit tollem Essen. Übersichtliche Karte ohne mainstream Gerichten aber mit hochwertigen Produkten. Preis Leistung top! Eine Bereicherung für Cuxhaven. Bei tollem Wetter müsste es draußen mehr Sitzplätze geben.

Sehr entspanntes Café. Der Kuchen ist sehr lecker.

Super leckere Kuchenauswahl, leider war der Cappuccino nicht das was ich immer erwarte. Sehr mild im Geschmack und eher wässrig, als wäre es instantkaffee. Dennoch war die Bedienung und die Dekoration wirklich gut.

Am liebsten würde ich 6 von 5 Sternen geben! Wir waren das erste mal im Solo, eher spontan als geplant da wir nur einen „Absacker“ trinken wollten. Uns begrüßte eine tolle Atmosphäre und ein modern eingerichtetes, kleines Lokal mit sehr freundlichen Mitarbeitern. Zu unserem Kaffee und Aperol bekamen wir eine kleine Käseplatte, danach noch ein selbstgebackenes, kleines mit Karamell gefülltes Gebäck. Die nächsten Getränke kamen wieder mit Käseplatte und dazu lud der Inhaber uns noch auf ein Stück Kuchen ein. Wir sind zwar nur bis Freitag hier, kommen bis dahin aber 100%ig noch mal wieder!
