Sol de Mexico in Markt Schwaben

Wir gehen häufiger dorthin und jedesmal gerne. Das Personal ist wahnsinnig freundlich und zuvorkommend, das Essen jedes mal exzellent. Eines meiner absoluten Lieblingslokale.

Unglaublich guter Service und total leckeres Essen. Wir kommen definitiv wieder ! Und der Hausschnaps ist ein Muss !!! Vielen Dank

Wir waren rundum begeistert von unserem Besuch! Das sogar um 22.00 uhr. Die Sauberkeit war hervorragend, die Freundlichkeit des gesamten Teams einfach top. Besonders die Kellnerin war super aufmerksam und herzlich. Das Essen war absolut ausgezeichnet – alles frisch, geschmacklich auf den Punkt und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Auch das Ambiente war wirklich super – wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Und das sind nicht nur Worte: Wir haben unser Lob direkt vor Ort genauso ausgesprochen. Wir haben uns von Anfang an sehr willkommen gefühlt und wurden wirklich herzlich aufgenommen. Dieses Restaurant verdient definitiv mehr als fünf Sterne! Wenn ich wieder hier in der nähe bin zu Besuch. , kommen wir ganz sicher wieder vorbei. Absolute Empfehlung!

Ich war wirklich begeistert von diesem mexikanischen Restaurant! 🌮✨ Das Essen war nicht nur unglaublich lecker, sondern vor allem haben die Mitarbeiter den Besuch zu etwas Besonderem gemacht. Alle waren super freundlich, aufmerksam und herzlich. Man fühlt sich direkt willkommen und merkt, dass hier mit Leidenschaft gearbeitet wird. Der Service war schnell, hilfsbereit und immer mit einem Lächeln – genau so, wie man es sich wünscht, wenn man essen geht. Egal ob bei Fragen zur Speisekarte oder kleinen Extra-Wünschen: Das Team war sofort zur Stelle und extrem nett. Für mich sind die Mitarbeiter ganz klar eine 10 von 10! ⭐️ So ein freundlicher Service ist heutzutage nicht selbstverständlich und ich kann dieses Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen!

Wir hatten einen netten Abend, zwanglos mit leckerem mexikanischen Essen, nettem Service in einem liebevoll dekorierten Restaurant.

Das Essen könnte etwas mehr Würze vertragen, ansonsten ein sehr gutes Lokal. Die Toilettentür schließt sehr laut.

Alles in allem ist es schön im Sol de México. Ich finde es nur nicht ganz authentisch. Der Service ist freundlich und das Essen lecker. Etwas mehr vegane Auswahl wäre nett. Etwas hohe Preise wie wir finden

Das Sol de Mexico ist ein richtig tolles Restaurant in der Mitte von Markt Schwaben. Ich habe mich direkt in dieses Restaurant verliebt. Die Speisekarte ist rießig. Es ist mir schwer gefallen mich auf ein Gericht zu entscheiden. Zum Glück gibt es Platten, wo ein bisschen von verschiedenen Gerichten drauf sind. Die Aktionskarte ist zudem sehr Kreativ gestaltet. Der Service, sowie das System für die Signalisierung für die Bedienung ist sehr toll und unkompliziert. Ich komme sehr gerne wieder. Vielen vielen Dank :)

Haben den Burrito vegetariano und den pollo bestellt und wurden schwer enttäuscht. Zumal wies Der Vegetariano einige Fleischstücke auf was überhaupt nicht geht. Der pollo war brutalst salzig und hat zu 95% aus Fleisch bestanden, das zu einem Preis von 17€ ist eine absolute Frechheit. Kann den Laden überhaupt nicht empfehlen deswegen auch nur 1 Stern.

Authentische mexikanische Küche. Bislang waren wir immer sehr zufrieden. Der letzte Besuch im Mai 2025 war jedoch etwas enttäuschend. Service war nicht mehr so aufmerksam wie sonst. Nachbestellungen von Getränken und Dessert wurden vergessen. Geschmacklich traf es dieses Mal leider nicht unseren Geschmack. Das Hühnerfleisch war extrem trocken und fad. Am Ende belief sich die Rechnung auf rund 100 Euro und waren immer noch hungrig.

Einfach hingehen und genießen!.

Ich hatte mit meiner Frau einen schönen Abend im Sol de México. Unsere Kellnerin Melli hat uns super durch den Abend geführt und uns mit mexikanischen Essen und Bieren versorgt. Alles hat fantastisch geschmeckt & wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Ein Lokal zum Wohlfühlen, sehr gutes Essen, mit den Fähnchen auf dem Tisch genial (man möchte etwas bestellen, Fähnchen nach oben). Man fühlt sich als gern gesehener Gast, kommen definitiv wieder!

Wer hier isst, wird nicht nur gesättigt. Verdiente 5 Sterne für alle Bereiche! Küche: Die Küche arbeitet hygienisch und bezieht Regionales. Ob authentisch oder nicht, es schmeckt und es kommt immer ein sehr gut gefüllter Teller. Und das allerbeste: es kocht der Chef selbst! Service: All die jungen und hübschen Damen sind nicht nur freundlich, sondern auch zuvorkommend und höflich. Sie kennen die Karte mit all ihren Gerichten und erklären wenn mal was nicht bekannt ist. Ambiente: Wenn die Küche und das Essen stimmt, legt man kaum Wert an überflüssige, einstaubende Dekoartikel. Allerdings besticht das Sol de Mexico mit seinen außergewöhnlichen Lampenschirmen ;-) An all die Gringos da draußen: wenn ihr TexMex Küchen für authentisch haltet, solltet ihr zum Sol de Mexico gar nichts sagen! Übrigens gelten als weiteres Highlight die festen sowie die wechselnden Cocktails! Fazit: In der heutigen Zeit gebe ich sehr gern mehr Geld aus, vor allem wenn es sich an jeder Stelle lohnt, wie hier!

Für mich das beste mexikanische Restaurant im Münchner Umland, das ich bisher gefunden habe. Viele verschiedene authentische Gerichte, nicht nur Standard TexMex. Freundlicher Service.

Simply top-notch from start to finish! It was our first time at this restaurant and we received a warm welcome – even our dog was warmly welcomed. The menu was explained to us attentively, including recommendations. The taste was absolutely outstanding, and the value for money was 100% spot on. A well-deserved 5 stars! We'd love to come back.

Highly recommended! We've been to Sol del Mexico in Markt Schwaben several times and have been impressed every time. The portions are very generous and the food incredibly delicious. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. The interior is also perfect – simple, colorful, and cozy, just as it should be. We try a new dish every time we visit and have never been disappointed. The service was really great; everyone was very friendly and attentive. We had a Plato Enchiladas – unfortunately, the food wasn't entirely convincing. Overall, it was okay, but nothing that really wowed us.

A slice of Mexico in the heart of Markt Schwaben. The menu stands out with its lovingly curated selection, and the staff is happy to answer any questions you may have about ingredients and preparation. The portions are generous, but more importantly, we loved the food. It reminds us of our visit to the southern United States years ago, where we encountered Mexican cuisine, only in Markt Schwaben, the food is more flavorful.

Four of us were there in the beer garden in the evening. Regarding the price, it should be noted that we had an appetizer, main course, and dessert. Great and very friendly service and excellent cuisine made the day a wonderful end. Reservations are recommended.

We had dinner there with a larger group. Me and a friend ordered an appetizer, the others in the group didn't. The starter came 5-10 minutes after everyone else had received their main course, we then ate our main course when everyone else was already finished (very annoying). We waited about an hour for the food, during which time the appetizer (nachos) could have easily been pushed in... I would have expected more from the main course itself, it was “just” okay. Conclusion: Price-performance doesn't quite fit

I would call Sol de Mexico small but nice. Centrally located in Markt Schwaben. Cozy atmosphere, very nice service and the food is also really tasty and very filling. The portions are large and plentiful. But you should reserve in advance as it is very busy. My conclusion. It is an absolute recommendation and I would like to go there more often

The cocktails are great, so come without a car if possible. The menu offers a wide selection of very good dishes that are freshly prepared. The influence of the Mexican mother can be felt positively. The steaks and burgers are not Mexican but are also excellent. The quality has remained at a consistently high level for years.

The ambience was wonderful. The service was very friendly. Unfortunately, it was not clear on the menu that almost every dish was prepared with coriander, nor did we receive any information from the waitress. That's a real shame, because opinions differ when it comes to coriander. One loves it, the other hates it. Even if this spice is part of Mexican cuisine, it should be mentioned on the menu.

I've visited this restaurant twice and plan to come back again. The food is incredible and reminds me of true Mexican food from home. The atmosphere is so welcoming and vibrant you can't help but feel festive. The only thing I would note is that the service has a service system I've never seen before. There are little flag stands on the table, and customers need to pull the flag up to signal they want service. Which is interesting and fun if you are at the right table. On my last visit though, the table and it's positioning meant that my boyfriend's back blocked the flag from the services view. With the service not walking around it took a while for them to finally check on us. But thankfully once they did, everything went quick and perfectly.

A really nice place. Inside looks amazing and outside seating area is very nice also. Food was really good also, service was a bit slow, but we did have a birthday celebration happening so there were a lot of people.

The first and unfortunately the last time I ate there... Despite having a reservation we waited 30 minutes for the waitress, as if that wasn't enough we waited another 30 minutes for the drinks and then 1 hour for the starter. We took extra time and still waited another hour for the main course. We then waited 10 minutes for the bill. Overall, I sat in the restaurant for over 3 hours and ate maybe 30 minutes of that time. It wasn't exactly the best, but it was okay for Mexican lovers. It would have been nice to have information that we might be understaffed at the moment or that there could be longer waiting times

We haven't been there for a while, and the next time it won't be on a Saturday evening. Very crowded, very loud and not enough service staff. There's a 1/4 hour wait for the card. The starter came in a reasonable time frame, then we waited 3/4 hour for the main course.

An update on our first visit. Our first visit was in 2020. Thank God nothing has changed since then. Food very good, service friendly and accommodating, ambience great. But reservation is essential otherwise it will be difficult to have a nice evening at the Mexican restaurant. A clear recommendation from us.

The fajitas were very good in terms of taste, but the number of tortillas was too low. Only 3 come with the food and they are not enough for the amount of filling. I stuffed them to the point that they were hard to eat and yet I still had a lot of food left over. Otherwise everything was perfect! To recommend

Ganz toller Mexikaner. Die Bedienungen sind sehr herzlich und immer freundlich. Das Essen ist Spitze, alles selbst gemacht, sogar die Nachos. Auch für Kinder gut geeignet, da es alles auch ohne Schärfe gibt. Schönes Ambiente, besonders in der Nische direkt links vom Eingang. Die Churritos waren etwas anders als ich sie kannte, kann aber auch sein, dass sie näher am Original liegen. Wir waren schon oft da und können Sol de Mexico uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!
