Very good food and reasonably priced. We sat outside in the beer garden area and it was lovely nice nice decorations.

Delicious food and friendly service. We've eaten there several times or ordered for pickup. Unfortunately, it's a bit chaotic, and the wait times for pickup are long. A little more structure and management certainly wouldn't hurt the place. I've also seen it at other Greek restaurants, for example, where drinks are offered even when picking up, especially when you end up having to wait longer than expected. However, this may not be permitted at the moment. Edit 2025: We've been back several times to eat there and have been very satisfied every time. The wait times were always reasonable.

Tables were double-reserved, the wrong food arrived after 1.5 hours, and the dessert was horrible. Not again.

Simply a great Greek restaurant with a cozy atmosphere. Tasty food, friendly staff, and standard prices. A reasonably priced lunch menu of the same quality. The usual Greek greeting, "Uozo," isn't common here. But just a little wink and a casual remark, "Two on the house." So, full marks.

So, now we have a review after all, since we unfortunately fell into a food coma yesterday. The starter couldn't have been better: a mixed appetizer platter and pita bread. After this platter, we were almost full, and the flavors were absolutely dreamy! Then the main course... I don't know where to begin: souvlaki, much juicier would have been dark magic, seasoning-wise... perfect! Gyros, not too crispy and just perfectly cooked. Calamari fritti... seventh heaven with the lemon. Fries, still so hot that I burned half the roof of my mouth, crispy on the outside and like mashed potatoes on the inside. I can barely remember the dessert, the coma had already set in. All I can remember is the rapturous dance of my palate over the honey. This was, I'll bet my life, definitely from Greece; we don't get such heavenly, light honey here. The two friendly gentlemen from the restaurant are, by far, the nicest hosts I've known for some time now. They accommodated special requests, got a perfect spot, served food and drinks very quickly, and generally created a very, very pleasant atmosphere. There was laughter, jokes, and the price was absolutely justified. If you want Greek food, don't fly to Greece; head to Mythos in Markt Schwaben. Last year we were in Crete, and it wasn't nearly as delicious as at Mythos 😍

I ordered vegetarian dishes twice, but both contained meat. Unfortunately, the staff didn't apologize. Since I don't eat meat, I didn't try the food. I hope the restaurant will be more sensitive to special dietary requests and open to feedback in the future.

Nice atmosphere. Tables are close together. Not cheap. The food tastes okay, but it's heavy on oil, and some of the skewered meat is either too hard or too dark. No ouzo included in the bill.

We held our friends' wedding party with 35 guests in the basement at Mythos. We can only rave about it. Our guests did too. Super-delicious appetizer buffet Super-delicious main course buffet We had dessert from the menu Everyone (including our vegan and vegetarian guests) found plenty of dishes they enjoyed. A server was assigned especially for us. Again, super-friendly, super-fast, really, really great. We were even allowed to bring our own music. The disco ball was our dancing highlight :-) Many thanks to all the staff at Mythos, we had a fantastic evening with you and would love to come back again

Very friendly and great staff! I was served very quickly and friendly. The food is very good and freshly prepared! It's rare for a Greek restaurant to receive such praise from me, a native Greek who grew up on Crete and knows a lot about food! Drink: 0.25L white wine Makedonikos Starter: Freshly prepared saganaki (breaded and fried feta). Main course: Tender kleftiko (leg of lamb in the oven with vegetables) with a side salad. Dessert: Galaktoboureko, like from home with a scoop of ice cream and icing. If I'm in the area again, I know where I'll eat!

We were there again. Food was delicious. Waiter ok too. Friendly. But there was an older gentleman with old clothes who was bothering us the whole time. He cleared our plates, glasses and always spoke something in Greek. The waiter just watched and didn't do anything. Too bad!!!!!!!!!!!!

The service was disastrous. Despite reservations, we were seated in front of the emergency exit next to our jackets and under a ventilation hole in the ceiling. Despite waiting for over half an hour, the staff didn't come to take our order, and they didn't respond to us when we asked. There wasn't a single dish without meat, which shouldn't be the case these days! After a long wait, we were unfortunately forced to leave the restaurant hungry on Valentine's Day.

Food was cold, small portion untypical for a Greek. The Zatziki was good but ridiculously small. When I asked for it, Zatziki was brought to me, but then I was charged an outrageous amount of 5 euros. Too bad

Unfortunately, once again the food we ordered wasn't right. Be it whether you get the wrong thing or not the quantity you ordered. Calling didn't help either because no one answered...not even after the tenth time. Unfortunately, they couldn't convince us with their friendliness, and the food wasn't great either. The food is usually really good. We were there on December 30th. there again. No other restaurant was open in Markt Schwaben that day, so the restaurant was busy. And that's exactly the issue: neither the service nor the kitchen were up to it. We had to wait over an hour for the starter and then what we ordered didn't come. From what I observed, other tables had similar experiences. We have known the restaurant for a long time, unfortunately this happens again and again. The staff usually start discussing or arguing loudly at some point. This was also the case during our visit. No guest wants to hear that. Finally, I would like to emphasize: the quality of the food is usually very good, and the price/performance ratio is also good. - The three stars are due to the service, and therefore also benevolent.

Was pretty full when we got here, and yet we were served fast and efficiently with a smile. Good Greek food, maybe a bit "german-ized" at times, but that made it even better, since we were eating with a few not so experimental friends. Definitely a big props for the food and service, music was decent and quiet enough to talk, it was warm and comfortable, and the bill wasn't outrageous. We'll be back.

This restaurant is really the absolute insider tip in Markt Schwaben (probably not so secret anyway). The atmosphere is super friendly and inviting and because it is a bit winding, it feels very cozy. The decoration is playful without being overwhelming and gives the whole room a Greek charm. The spacious outdoor area is great, especially in summer. The staff is very courteous and on the ball without being too pushy and would probably be able to put a smile on even the grumpiest customer's face. The food is really to die for. No matter whether it's a starter, main course or dessert, the food is original without losing any of its authenticity. Today I had shrimp in a very good sauce that got a pleasant kick from spring onions. For the main course I had the Grill Mix plate. The liver was very creamy and tasted great, the cutlet was very tender and the souflaki and gyros are always amazing anyway. I have to say, I also love that the fries here are a little thicker and seasoned with herbs. The dessert was the house specialty and, despite its richness, had something light about it. At the end there was even a really refreshing cocktail on the house. For me, there are few Greeks who perform so well with such consistency and I will remain a customer for a long time!

Went out to dinner spontaneously this evening. There weren't too many people in the restaurant. We had to wait about 1.15 hours for our food. Many people left the restaurant without eating because the chef only prepared a few meals. Despite the long wait, no apology was forthcoming and not even a snippet of apology was offered. This is the second time we have been so disappointed. We won't be going back any time soon.

Best Greek in the area! We have been coming to the Mythos restaurant on and off for many years. The prices have gone up, but the quality is simply delicious and portions are really reasonable! The only downside is...the "hospitality ouzo", which is a given for Greeks, has been deleted!

Went here again after a long time and it was a lovely evening all around. Great food...liver is a dream, good portions, prices are also okay, service is attentive and the ambience in the covered garden is very pleasant! We'll definitely be back soon! Can really only be recommended. Unfortunately, when we visited in August, the waiting time was extremely long, the service wasn't particularly helpful and our table wasn't ready for a birthday party despite a reservation. Food is good, but portions are getting smaller and smaller. Too bad.

In my humble opinion, it is very rare to find a good Greek restaurant in Munich that respects the country's culinary tradition and offers an authentic experience. Mythos manages that and more, as everything is very well prepared, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and the decoration is reminiscent (at least to me) of "home", accompanied by Greek music to end the evening. Absolutely great, we will come back!

We were there with friends. Everything was ok, the food was lukewarm, but we were harassed and insulted by the chef when we entered, his clothes were definitely not up to hygiene regulations and he smelled very strongly of cigarettes. That doesn't work at all, but maybe we'll come again.

Unfortunately nothing has worked here the last few times. Something is missing from orders or the wrong dishes are included. Reservations only work to a limited extent. Food doesn't come to the table at the same time. The taste was better too. The friendliness also leaves a lot to be desired in places. We're not coming anymore.
