Reservieren notwendig am Wochenende, Tische etwas eng aneinander, Personal sehr nett und zuvorkommend, Etwas störend, dass nach dem Essen gleich gefragt wird, ob abgeräumt werden darf, Weil man das Gefühl hat, die Tische sind gleich weiter vergeben. Wahrscheinlich nur am Wochenende. Essen war sehr lecker

So freundliches Personal – das ist echt der Hammer! Darüber hinaus ist das Essen wirklich lecker, toll angerichtet und auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt absolut. Reservieren sollte man auf jeden Fall. Wir waren schon öfter hier und kommen ganz sicher bald wieder.

Supergutes und leckeres Essen in einer Wohlfühlatmosphäre!

Es ist offensichtlich, dass es in dieser Gegend kulinarisch stark zu wünschen übrig lässt. Hohe Preise für sehr niedrige Qualität. Ich verstehe die anderen Bewertungen nicht. Wir bestellten das gemischte Tandoori (das Hähnchen war verbrannt, das Fleisch trocken, und eines der Stücke war Fisch, obwohl es nicht als solcher gekennzeichnet war). Wir bestellten außerdem Chicken Masala und Lamm Vindaloo (leider war es überhaupt nicht scharf). Natürlich werden wir nicht wiederkommen. Darüber hinaus hatten sie die Frechheit, uns einen Krug Wasser zu verweigern und uns dann 7,50 € für eine nachgefüllte Flasche Leitungswasser zu berechnen. Das ist inakzeptabel und reine Abzocke. Bearbeitet aufgrund der Antwort: Schärfe ist natürlich Geschmackssache; es wurde lediglich erwähnt, damit andere Gäste davon wissen. Auf der Vorspeisenplatte für zwei Personen (gemischtes Tandoori) steht wörtlich: Gemischtes Grillfleisch mit verschiedenen Marinaden. Fisch wird nicht erwähnt; Vielleicht ist ihnen ein Fehler unterlaufen und sie sollten ihre Speisekarte überarbeiten. Gern geschehen für den Hinweis. Was das Wasser angeht, möchte ich noch einmal betonen, dass wir kein Flaschenwasser bestellt haben, sondern einen Krug Leitungswasser. Das Problem ist, dass Sie uns eine geöffnete, wiederverwendete Flasche gegeben und einen überhöhten Preis berechnet haben, als wäre sie neu. Die Fotos beweisen es: Der Deckel passt nicht zur Flasche. Hören Sie auf, uns zu täuschen, überprüfen Sie Ihre Speisekarte und seien Sie freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Hervorragendes indisches Restaurant. Wir waren bereits sehr oft hier und die Qualität der Speisen ist jedes Mal konstant auf hohem Niveau. Alles ist geschmacklich hervorragend abgestimmt und frisch zubereitet. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist absolut fair. Dazu kommt eine angenehme, entspannte Atmosphäre und ein durchweg freundliches, aufmerksames Team. Klare Empfehlung – wir kommen immer wieder gerne.

Waren schon ein paar mal zum Essen dort. Es war jedes Mal sehr gut und die Portionen reichlich. Der Service gut und auch wenn der Laden brechend voll war, waren alle sehr freundlich. Vorab reservieren, sonst gibt es vielleicht keinen Platz.

Wir sind leider nicht mehr so oft hier, da sich die Öffnungszeiten geändert und wir zuvor gerne mittags hier gegessen haben. An unserem letzten Abend mit Freunden war alles wie gewohnt. Der Service top: freundlich, humorvoll und sehr aufmerksam! Das Essen war schmackhaft, frisch zubereitet, in sehr guter (und unserer Meinung nach authentischer) Qualität! Mother India empfehlen wir jederzeit gerne weiter!

Guter und zügige Abwicklung. Leider waren die Gerichte für 2 Personen zu verschärft für den deutschen Gaumen. Der eine sagt Geschmackssache, ich sage muss nicht sein. Eine angenehme Schärfe oder Brennen so das der Geschmack überdeckt wird ist ein Unterschied. Daher heute das letzte Mal geordert. Schade. Aber Qualität und Frische hat soweit gestimmt. Service auch. Daher noch 4 Sterne. Aktualisierung vom 23.11.2025 Wir haben uns doch entschieden nochmals zu bestellen als Abholer. Leider ohne großes freudiges Ergebnis. Langweiliger Reis ohne Aroma, Chicken Jalfrezi: trocken gebruzzeltes Huhn und dünnflüssige viel zu scharfe Brühe. Butter Chicken: Soße ging, Fleisch genauso trocken. Chicken Palak:Soße war keine, sondern eine Mischung aus Spinat und irgendwas. Hühnerfleisch ebenso trocken. Der Service war gut aber die Dienstkleidung ist weniger ansprechend. Hellblaue Sweatshirts mit Firmenlogos. Das wirkt eher wie ein Lieferdienst, Lagerarbeiter oder Handwerker. Aber nicht wie eine halbwegs authentische Restaurant Bedienung. Da bietet z.B. ein bekanntes Erdinger indisches Restaurant eine ganz anderes Flair und Geschmackserlebnis. Daher nur noch 2-3 Punkte.

Great food, authentic, and delicious 😋 It was my first visit this evening. Almost everything was reserved, and we just managed to get a table for two. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. It smells of spices. The entire atmosphere is authentic. Great menu. Great 👍🏻 sauces to start with. Everything I had was great! I had a selection of fish 🐟 Great! Everything with excellent sauce and great flavor. The rice 🍚 is also very good. Fairly priced. To finish off, there was delicious mango liqueur from the house. Thank you 🙏 for a lovely evening and great food.

It was our first time there and we really enjoyed it, and everything tasted great. The manager has a great sense of humor, explained the dishes, and the food was also presented very attractively. The service was very attentive. In an Indian restaurant, you usually get a variety of sauces beforehand. I always skipped them before because they were too artificial, the colors were fake, and they were simply a ready-made product. Here, everything is fresh and homemade. And all the sauces were delicious. A huge compliment. It certainly won't be the last time we go there.

Quite OK. Can't quite compete with the good Indian restaurants in Munich. The sauces lacked creaminess. Otherwise, it's a mediocre restaurant: not bad, but not really great either, and perhaps a bit expensive. It's probably better to go downtown.

In my opinion, it's the best Indian restaurant. I go there regularly and am always impressed. The food is always delicious and prepared with love. Allergy and special requests are catered for, and the chef and the entire staff are friendly and attentive every time. This restaurant is highly recommended!

We went for the first time yesterday and were disappointed. The table for four was extremely cramped. The portions were very small for the high price, and the taste was mediocre. I can't believe all the positive reviews.

Chicken wasn’t tender at all, was chewy and didn’t taste as one would think when it comes to Indian food.. sauces were watery and lacked spices.. it was disappointing experience since the opinions are so good..

Food is good. Service is very friendly. Ambiance is too crowded for me personally. Aisles are very narrow. Hence a lot of tables in a small space. Corresponding background noise. Not really suitable with children.

I have known the owner of this restaurant for several years now and can still say to this day: every dish is prepared with love and tastes authentically Indian. The staff is warm, attentive and friendly, you can only feel comfortable :)

Food is really amazing. They made it spicy as per our request and it was actually spicy. We ordered paneer makhani (Paneer was home made). They also gave onion and lemon as we get in Indian restaurants. I haven’t seen that in any other restaurants in Germany. They also offered us complementary chai.

Rarely have we seen such a child-friendly restaurant. 🥰 It was the first time I had dinner with friends since my son was born. Unfortunately, he complained quite a bit. This made me very uncomfortable as I didn't want to bother anyone... but the staff were all so friendly and treated him so lovingly, holding him and keeping my food warm while I walked outside. ❤️ At the end they gave me a relaxing tea to go 🥹 The food itself is also really delicious. I was thrilled

Service is simply amazing, very kind and caring! I am a big fan of Indian cuisine and this place did not disappoint with the food quality, palak paneer and garlic naan were super nice, I’ll definitely come back to try other positions! The restaurant is beautifully and authentically decorated too.

The best Indian retaurant outside India! The innkeeper is someone who suits this job very well; his good mood is simply contagious. The menu also has a lot to choose from for vegetarians, but he always finds a solution for vegans and changes the dishes as desired. Overall, the food is very high quality, almost everything is made on site. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very pleasant. If a guest has a birthday, the lights are dimmed briefly, the music plays "Happy Birthday" and there is mango champagne. The small restaurant is now so popular that reservations are recommended, especially on Fri/Sat/Sun.

An Indian restaurant that impressed me with its very good food. What we didn't like was that we hadn't even sat down at our table but were already asked for drinks. Here you should perhaps show a little more composure and let the guest arrive. Therefore a star deduction. Otherwise we were satisfied and would like to come back.

We (3 young women) ate here for the first and last time last Friday. The highlight of the evening was that the waiter jokingly suggested that he/someone would rip my hair clip off my head along with my hair. He asked me if my hair clips were made of real gold. I said I didn't know and he said I should be careful because otherwise I would soon be bald in that spot. I didn't understand the comment at first and was totally taken aback. He also touched us on the upper arm several times for no reason at all when we spoke to us. In the context (young woman and strange, middle-aged male waiter) we were all very uncomfortable. Otherwise the service was very uncoordinated. Although two of us were still looking at the cards, we were asked several times at very short intervals whether we wanted to order yet. We had to decline several times. The restaurant was moderately to well attended and we were there for just 15 minutes. It was just before 7:00 p.m.

We were there 2 years ago and weren't really satisfied and wanted to try again. Unfortunately it wasn't any better this time. The sauces are very watery and seasoned blandly. The garlic bread we ordered didn't taste like garlic at all. There won't be a third time. The staff is nice and attentive, but it's no use if it doesn't taste good.

An absolute insider tip! The food is delicious, fresh and of excellent quality. The owner and the entire team are extremely friendly and attentive - you immediately feel welcome. Price-performance is great: reasonable prices for generous portions. The parking situation is also relaxed. If you love authentic Indian food, you should definitely stop by here. At the request and recommendation of my nephew, the three of us came here. It was a perfect evening. Everything is celebrated here, from the greeting to the farewell. The ritual of pouring tea alone is a pleasure. But that is surpassed by the taste of the chai. The food is not simply placed on the table without comment, but is explained excellently by the manager of the house. This is particularly helpful for dishes that are exotic to us. All three dishes were a dream, and the mango cream for dessert was in no way inferior. Without exception, all of the employees were courteous, but unobtrusive and incredibly friendly. If we are in the area again we will definitely repeat the visit. Thank you for this unique experience.

Ich war aufgrund der vielen tollen Bewertungen hier, leider kann ich diese nicht teilen. Uns hat es nicht geschmeckt, das Essen war leider gar nicht gewürzt und teilweise sehr fettig. Auch war das Personal nachdem wir das Essen bekommen haben nicht mehr aufmerksam. Wir wollten 15 Minuten lang weitere Getränke bestellen und haben uns letztendlich dazu entschlossen zu bezahlen, da wir nicht beachtet wurden. Das Lokal ist sehr eng und die Atmosphäre nicht wirklich gemütlich, erinnert eher an einen Speisesaal.

When we are in the Munich area, we always go to Mother India, our tribe of Indians. The restaurant immediately looks cozy with its design. You will be warmly welcomed. It's a family atmosphere that encourages you to stay. The menu is large, but you can always find interesting dishes. You get.a selection of fish, shrimp, chicken, lamb, and vegetarian options. The boss also responds to customer requests without discussions. If you don't want it spicy, you can get it milder, if you can't tolerate some spices or herbs then just leave them awake. The food is served in small pots and bowls; at first it appears to be little, but that is deceptive. We always enjoy going to Mother India.

I've been a guest there a few times. Decent portions, it tastes good, I never had to wait long and even when we were guests with a few more people, we all got our orders at the same time.

Even though the prices have risen recently, they are certainly justified here because of the special quality of the offer and service.

What a culinary adventure it was! I am delighted with this place and eating there. Let's start from the food that no other Indian restaurant can beat. Tam Tam Shorbha is a soup that tastes even better with each subsequent sip, its spiciness and spices are so tasty that it can be enjoyed every day. The Chicken Madras was extra, melting in spices intended for consumption, as was the case with the Lamm Palak and Grillplatte. It was like a flavor bomb, we enjoyed every piece of this meals. My favourite one was Veg Korma... that sweetness of coconut completes the taste of vegetables... I was in heaven.. Gulab jamun are delicious sweet balls with honey, which were the perfect ending to our culinary cuisine. The mango liqueur was refreshing, pleasantly sweet and there was a lot of love put into preparing it. Service... first class! They talk woth customers with love, talked about the dishes with passion, treated everyone like a friend. This place is perfect for people who can be familiar with Indian cuisine, for people who have bad memories of other restaurants that do not cloud their expectations. Big applause to the owner for matching the dishes and choosing the service people. The best restaurant and service people I ever met. I hope to go back there.

Reservation NOT prepared!!! Tables far too small. Cold and uncomfortable!!! Restaurant half empty. Prices corrected upwards (with Tippex!)... they don't invest in new menus here... Chai extremely sweet!!! Guests should be able to dose their own sugar!!!

Two stars for the friendly landlady. The chicken curry tasted bland and the sauce was only enough for half the rice. Way too dry. The meat was too rich for that.

Tldr: order number 25 Best Indian restaurant I have visited in my life. Authentic, good food, nice owner who is always up for a joke. Great show with the still sizzling food fresh from the pan.

We love Mother India and love going there! The food is absolutely fantastic, I haven't eaten anything yet that I didn't at least like very much, most of the dishes taste great! I can only rave about it. Each sauce has its own unique taste, the spices are finely tuned and I could get carried away with it. During my first visit, I inevitably had a feeling reminiscent of the film "Madame Mallory and the Scent of Curry". :) The host couple is always very nice and the waitresses are friendly and usually attentive. It's best to make a reservation, there's a reason the shop is so popular!
