Unfortunately I can't say anything about the food because I reserved a table for a bachelorette party there and saw by chance on Google the day before that it was temporarily closed. No one was available by phone, on the same day I received a text message from Open Table confirming the reservation, so no notification was given there either. A day later I receive a reply to my email that my reservation has been cancelled. It was an incredible disgrace not to inform a reservation with 7 people for a Saturday that it was closed.

We went there as a group of girls with great hunger and expectations and were very disappointed. The waitress was very friendly. But that’s it for the positive points. Personally, the ambience was too cluttered with decorations, the price-performance ratio is a JOKE. Neither the sushi portions, nor the South African chicken or even the teryaki skewers fill you up. All of this would be okay at most as an appetizer for a different price. I love Asian food and have rarely eaten such crappy food - never again

All in all mega and tasty and the atmosphere is great and I can really recommend it! Also the price and performance 👍🏼

In my personal opinion, not good. We went for new years eve 2023-2024 and did get a menu that wasn't announced on the website before (at least we didn't find it hours prior). It was more expensive than we were expecting. The food was quite good quality and the service was friendly in our opinion. Still, we were also feeling a bit disappointed with the portions size for the price we were paying. Also, at the end, we felt disappointed again since we were charged a tip slightly higher that we didn't choose.

Sushi is very delicious and varied, the staff is very accommodating. However, there is a lack of selection of desserts and they are also poor in taste and overpriced. But the atmosphere is definitely worth a visit!

Wir kamen nach München und beschlossen, Sushi zu essen, Wir fanden das Sojo-Restaurant, kamen ohne Reservierung, der Administrator fand den Tisch sofort, bestellte Brötchen wie auf dem Bild. In etwa 10 Minutes gebracht. Es ist sehr lecker, heiße Brötchen haben einen eleganten Geschmack. Sehr fürsorgliches Personal. Ich empfehle es!🔥🥂 We arrived in Munich and decided to eat sushi, We found the Sojo restaurant, came without a reservation, the administrator found a table right away, ordered rolls as in the picture. They brought it in about 10 minutes. Very tasty, hot rolls have an elegant taste. Very caring staff. I recommend ! 🍽️🍾

Das Essen war sehr lecker, es kam auch schnell. Wir saßen draußen, das war sehr angenehm. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen.

Good ambience, nice kitschy decoration, Asian. Juicy prices, unfortunately too overpriced for the quality of the food. Service was poor, we weren't served for a long time until one of us got up, inattentive and didn't respond to criticism. The ramen was salty (soup, noodles + meat) so we ordered more water a few times to top it up, which didn't help. After ordering three times, someone finally offered to make the soup again, the pork belly, unfortunately lukewarm, when we asked if it had rice The waiter said yes, but unfortunately it came without and when we asked someone else they said no, so we ordered more rice, unfortunately there was no normal rice but sushi rice. South African chicken, overpriced, also lukewarm. Sushi ok, nothing special.

At first glance the store makes a nice impression. However, the dream of a beautiful sushi restaurant in downtown Munich is shattered when you open the menu and see the prices. Normally I'm not so fussy about prices, but in this restaurant the price-performance ratio is absolutely not right. If you have a small stomach and are definitely not hungry you can eat here, but a person who is hungry will either have no money left or will still be hungry. The service, well, our order was forgotten, which can happen every time. But it wasn't even admitted. Certainly for the location it's worth a look from the outside and maybe a drink but not going out to eat. The decoration is also questionable, giraffes that look more like a male genitalia from below. It's a shame, I was hoping for more.

Das Restaurant ist direkter Nachbar des Deutschen Theaters. Daher haben wir für 17 Uhr reserviert, um gemütlich vor der 19 Uhr Vorstellung zu essen. Das Restaurant öffnet um 17 Uhr und war daher noch leer. Die Vorspeise kam gleich nach der Bestellung, auf die Hauptspeise haben wir eine Stunde gewartet. Das Ambiente ist gemütlich, die Auswahl auf der Karte "überschaubar", das Essen leider nur durchschnittlich und der Service schlecht organisiert. Für uns leider keinen zweiten Besuch wert.

The food was great, but the service was rushed that evening due to the full restaurant. But that meant that not much happened with the service - apart from taking the order.

More appearance than reality... Super nice location, service could have been better, quite inattentive, guests without a starter got the main course with the other guests' starters. Tuna steak for €28 was sobering and well done. The avocado tartar for €18 was also limited. So apart from the location itself, unfortunately no real recommendation.

A stylish restaurant, but the prices don't do justice to the quality of the dishes. The beer had been expired for 2 months and I was told that was the date of manufacture.

The atmosphere is really exceptionally beautiful. The drinks were solid. Unfortunately, the food was extremely mixed - from okay to terrible. The dessert with the Mochi ice cream was unfortunately a very negative ending for us and was inedible. Even though we had given the feedback, it was not addressed - a shame.

Waitress was rude and racist- I ordered food that I didn’t like and she got an attitude asking me what I dont like about the food. She pre judge that I wasn’t going to pay for it just because I sent it back— when in reality I never said I wouldn’t pay. I just simply ordered something else that I knew I would enjoy. The waitress rushed to conclusions and made a scene. I will never go back with that behavior.

Very nice atmosphere and friendly waiters, but the selection of food is limited and very overpriced. We had a sushi plate for 2, which cost €60 and it was definitely not worth it. I've often eaten better sushi and that shouldn't be the case given the price. Therefore, it absolutely did not live up to the hype on social media.

Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is not right here at all. -The ramen costs €18.50. Relatively small portion and not very tasty/seasoned. -A spritz costs €9.50 and the glass is only half full. -You eat with disposable chopsticks, not very sustainable. -The sushi is beautifully prepared and tasty, but the prices are too high -The service seems bored. -The music almost makes you fall asleep. The facility is fantastic, it's a shame that everything else is rather poor.

Cocktails richtig schlecht. Seit wann macht man einen Mule mit Eiswürfel?? Kein Crashed ice im Haus? Essen viel zu teuer. 12€ für 6 Stück Nigiri mit Gurke. Bei der Vorspeise war die Avocado schon schwarz. Kräuterseitlinge TK und obwohl tempura auf der Karte stand, war es irgendeine Panade aber kein Tempura. Dessert mit Dosen Früchten und Schokoladenglace völlig zerstört.

The food was delicious, I also found the ambience very nice, but everything was overpriced, which might be normal for "Munich standards", but they save money on service because they have no idea how to work properly in service. Just around the corner from Odeonsplatz. We had reserved a table to make sure we got a seat. But that wouldn't have been necessary because the store is huge. We had a table to the right of the door in a niche that unfortunately got some of the cold from outside every time we opened it. At first I thought they had forgotten about us, but then someone came and so we were able to order the drinks, appetizers and the main meal at the same time. Everything we ordered was fresh and we enjoyed it. The prices are slightly higher than in comparable restaurants. Then we wanted to order dessert, which actually had coconut ice cream as the main ingredient. When we wanted to order we were told it was no longer there. I would have liked the information before ordering so I could have chosen something else straight away.

We chose this restaurant because it is right next to the theater. The food was very good and we didn't have to wait for it to arrive. The non-alcoholic cocktails were also very tasty. Service was very friendly. The price was right too. Fantastic ambience. The perfect end to a great evening.

Wir haben vorab reserviert und wurden zur gewünschten Zeit zum Tisch gebracht, bekamen sofort die Karten und durften Kurz darauf bestellen. Das essen und die getränke kamen sehr schnell. Sowie die nachher bestellte Nachspeise. Die Kallner waren stets bemüht um unserer Zufriedenheit zu wahren. Was schade war ist das die Speisekarte auf OpenTabel nicht mit der Aktuellen Karte zusammen passt. Aber das machte nichts da man dort genug zeit hat um sich die Karten anzusehen.

This place has a great ambient, I would recommend it to get some drinks and relax. It must be the most beautiful restaurant/bar in the somewhat spooky street. It's a bit hidden between less appealing buildings so there's usually enough place. I wouldn't call the waiters exceptionally friendly, but they were ok. My Ramen was too salty, I could eat around a half. When they asked if I liked the food I mentioned it's salty. Considering the prices, an "oh, ok" reaction is not necessarily what you expect. But again, great ambient, acoustic, relaxed atmosphere. Come for some drinks!

Die Location sieht super aus. Das wars allerdings auch schon. Das Essen ist nicht schlecht, zumindestens die Sushi nicht. Bei dem anderen Lachs mit Currysoße kam es zu Bauchbeschwerden. Service ist mittelmäßig, man muss drauf hinweisen, dass man bereit ist zu bestellen und bereit ist zu bezahlen etc. und es war wirklich nicht viel los ca. 7-8 belegte Tische. Aber es sieht gut aus.

Unfortunately we had to wait a long time for our drinks, the food actually came before that. My sushi arrived within 3 minutes, which left me a bit confused. Unfortunately it also tasted dry and stale. For the price you can definitely eat better somewhere else!

Für eine Unterhaltung war die Musik leider zu laut. Bei der Reservierung wurde als Grund „Geburtstag“ angegeben, das hat leider niemanden interessiert.

We were there for Valentine's Day. Everything went well with the reservation. The food was great, we just had to wait a little longer. And the best thing is the ambience. Simply indescribably beautiful. Really recommended.

The service staff were a bit overwhelmed. The shop is really nicely decorated, but many of the decorative elements are dusty. The lamps and bulbs in particular would be happy to be cleaned and the restaurant would really shine again. The food deserves 5 stars. Service and cleanliness, only benevolent 4 stars.

The food was good, the waitress took money herself as a “tip” without being told. She took €3 from me and €4 from the others. To be honest, I don't think it's okay at all. We only noticed after we asked for the bill. Wouldn't go there again

A very nice restaurant with very good food. The interior design is really unique and otherwise vibey. Unfortunately the service was only semi-good that evening… Orders were mixed up and brought twice… Will still stop by a second time!

Catastrophic!!!!!! We've been waiting for our food for two hours, and just for the drinks for over an hour. Bad as hell!!!!!! Never again and definitely do not recommend anyone!

Hire more staff!!! We waited 32 minutes to place our order, 45 for the first drink, 60 for the appetizer. It was impossible to catch a waiter. The other guests in the area couldn't do that either. I felt guilty for not leaving a tip because it's not entirely the poor waitress's fault. The food is good but too salty.

Fried breaded sushi! Alas, but only a feeling of breading in the mouth! And the price is 18 euros! The tea was tasteless, I literally had to shout to the waiters all the time!

Wirklich schönes Ambiente. Das Sushi war auch sehr gut. Nur die Vorspeisen waren sehr schlecht für das was sie gekostet haben. Hatten dumplings welche sehr fettig waren und noch einen afrikanisches Gericht welches wie aus der Mikrowelle geschmeckt hat. Daher insgesamt nur 3,5 Sterne

Das Restaurant ist zweifelsohne wunderschön eingerichtet! Das Sushi war sehr lecker, wenn auch etwas teuer für das, was man bekommt. Vorspeisen (Gyoza und Hähnchen Sate) waren okay, aber nicht besonders (außer die Erdnussbuttersoße dazu, die war sehr gut!). Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert! Speziell, wenn man danach ins Deutsche Theater oder in eines der Kinos gehen möchte.

If the service and food were as good as the interior, I’d give this place 4 stars. It took almost an hour for someone to take our order (we had to flag down the waitress), received our starters much later and still didn’t have our mains 2.5 hours after arriving. Service was sparse and many tables were left totally unattended. We were never asked if we wanted to order more drinks, nor were the plates from our starter cleared. Only after asking where our food was were we told there are „issues in the kitchen“. In this situation I’d expect better communication and service. Instead, waitresses avoided eye contact. At some point the music turned off and stayed that way the rest of the evening. We finally received our mains 2.5 hours after arriving and had to ask the waitress to clear the plates from our starters to make space for the plates she had awkwardly pushed onto the edge of the table. Unfortunately, the food wasn’t worth the wait. This experience could have been very different if service and communication had been better.

Sehr schönes Ambiente, Service leider gar nicht gut. Aufgrund einer Beschwerde beim Essen wurden wir von der Kellnerin wortwörtlich angeschrien, was uns denn einfallen würde uns zu beschweren. Wir waren sehr höflich gegenüber der Kellnerin aber wurden dann sehr lautstark gebeten zu bezahlen und dann zu gehen. Also Service 0 Sterne wenn das gehen würde. Die Einrichtung ist der Hammer. Die angebotene Essensauswahl ist übersichtlich, aber qualitativ hochwertig. Preislich auch! Kann man sich aber mal leisten. Das fritierte Sushi als Vorspeise war ein Highlight. Wer jemand zum Essen ausführen möchte und Eindruck machen will, geht ins Sojo.

Meine Tochter und ich kamen zur "Rush Hour" am Freitag um ca. 20:15 Uhr. Hatten kurzfristig über openTable reserviert. Mussten für ca. 5 Minuten an der Bar Platz nehmen bis unser Tisch frei wurde. Leider dauerte es etwas länger bis wir bestellen konnten, da es wirklich voll war. 0,2l AFG Getränke finde ich zu klein, 0,33 sollten es schon sein ! Sushi eines der besten das ich je gegessen habe, TOP! Auch das Lachs Curry war sehr gut. Der Salat hätte für meinen Geschmack ein bisschen mehr Dressing vertragen. Ein riesen Lob aber an die Bedienung, die hat fast den halben Laden alleine gerockt und war sehr freundlich. Für 4 Gerichte und 2 Getränke haben wir 90 Euro bezahlt, das ist i.O. ! Würden für das Sushi auf jeden Fall wieder kommen :-)

Netter Empfang, schönes Ambiente, Essen sehr gut und eine ausreichende Auswahl.

Leider waren meine Erwartungen nicht ganz erfüllt. Der erste Gang kam sehr schnell an, Kimchi war richtig lecker, allerdings waren die Sushi sehr klein und bei zu vielen verschiedenen Zutaten nicht besonders von Geschmack. Dann wurden unsere Teller geräumt, und erst nach dem wir 20 Minuten bei leerem Tisch gewartet haben und unsere Kellnerin gefragt haben, ob der zweite Gang kommt, hat sie überhaupt die Aufforderung für den zweiten Gang in die Küche geschickt (hat sie bei uns am Tisch an ihrem Tablet gemacht). Also, auch wenn sie voll sind, so was kann ich leider nicht tolerieren, vor allem wenn sie nicht genau günstig sind. Die Udon Nudeln waren dann sättigend, aber etwas blass im Geschmack, und Ratatouille war nichts besonderes. Schade, obwohl das Restaurant sehr interessante Küche anbietet und schön ausgerichtet ist.

Kleine Portionen und dafür recht teuer. Ambiente ist an sich recht schön. Bewertungen werden auch ganz gerne vom Betreiber gelöscht ;)
