Conclusion: If you want to experience absurdly bad service, this is the place for you. We had reserved a table. I had called ahead to say we'd be a bit late, which the man on the other end commented on unfriendly. When we arrived, we stood around for a while until someone actually bothered to talk to us. We were then sent to the back. Since we weren't escorted, we didn't know which of the uncovered tables to sit at. When we asked the three men behind the show kitchen, we had to listen to a stupid remark about how the restaurant was actually closed today anyway. Thanks for nothing. We left immediately.

Food is edgy and tastes good. Definitely recommend the lobster crispy rolls. Service is young. Tables next to the kitchen make you feel like being backstage. It seems more elegant at the front.

The value for money is unfortunately disappointing. The appetizers and drinks were okay, but the steak and fries only got a 2/10.

More of a bar than a restaurant! It was very quiet in this restaurant that evening, and the food was unfortunately not good enough for the price. €25.00 for small fried lobster rolls was just average, and the menu is very small and offers little choice. The truffle flatbread was inedible, a waste of money. We paid early and moved on.

The atmosphere is pleasant, the service is attentive, and the dishes are thoroughly satisfying. We will be back.

Ansprechendes Ambiente. Leider mässiges Essen ,Gambas mit Olivenöl Knoblauch mit Weißwein abgelöscht kam ohne jegliche Beilagen im Suppenteller in einer wässrigen Suppe mit etwas Petersilie. Anstandslos ausgetauscht, aber das anschliessend bestellte Rindertatar auch nur mittelmässig.Preis/Leistung stimmt einfach nicht. Schade.

What a shame! We've always enjoyed going to Doma regularly. As I said, until now. Since the previous chef left for Jan Hartwig, there's a new concept and a new menu, where new means reduced and unspectacular. For starters, we had truffle flatbread. It tasted good, but it arrived lukewarm at best. For main course, I had the pound of black tiger prawns. The prawns were bone dry and swimming in a rather tasteless water, oil, and herb broth. When I asked the waiter about it, they were indifferent. Not good then; there are better alternatives.

Wir wollten an jenem Nachmittag einen Espresso Macchiato und Capuccino trinken. Der Kaffe war sehr gut, aber die Rechnungstellung fanden wir ziemlich unprofesionell. Ich hab nach Rechnung gefragt und nach ein paar Minuten kam der Kellner und sagte, die Rechung sei 7,70 EUR. Ich hab 8 EUR bezaht und die Rechnung mitgenommen. Und dann war ich erstaunt - da wurden bereits 10% Trinkeld mitberechnet (sehr ungewöhnliche Praxis in München!), der Kellner hat das aber verschwiegen! Dies finde ich sehr unprofesionell und eigentlich grenzwertig. Es geht nicht um 70 Cent, sondern um eine mangelde Wertschätzung gegenüber Gästen. Sehr enttäuschend!

- Während des Essens kam kein Personal vorbei. - Das Hauptgericht wurde nicht so zubereitet, wie es auf der Speisekarte stand. Die Änderung war groß, aber wir wurden nicht vorher informiert. - Weniger freundlich zu Gästen, die kein Deutsch sprechen. - Wir mussten 10% Trinkgeld geben, obwohl wir nicht ganz zufrieden waren. Außerdem wurde das Brot vor dem Essen berechnet.

Alles TipTop! Waren sehr zufrieden … super Ambiente und Essen unglaublich Lecker! Auch sehr schön angerichtet. Wir kommen gerne wieder!👍🏼

Endlich mal ein urbaner, lässig-eleganter Laden in der Münchner Altstadt. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Wir kommen immer wieder gern ins Doma. Das Essen ist top, der Service (insbesondere Sascha) auch. Lässt keine Wünsche offen, wenn man mal wieder einen schönen Abend haben möchte.

+ Toller Wein! + die Vorspeise war absoluter Knaller und fast ein bisschen zu viel + Service war erste klasse + Hauptspeise auch unfassbar lecker + schöne Location —— - Hauptspeise hat etwas lange gedauert, war aber wohl ein Ausnahme ____ = Absolute Empfehlung, ich komme gerne wieder

Schickes Restaurant in der Nähe vom Viktualienmarkt mit vielen kleinen Tischen, also eher ungeeignet für große Gruppen. An dem Tag waren hauptsächlich Touristen da, kaum Einheimische. Das Interieur ist sehr schön und die Bar hat ebenfalls einen guten Eindruck gemacht. Das Essen war gemischt, aber insgesamt für den Preis einfach ungenügend. Die Lobster Rolls waren gut, aber für 25 Euro hätte ich ein bisschen mehr erwartet. Die vegetarischen Gerichte kosten fast genauso viel wie die mit Fleisch (z.B. eine halbe Aubergine für 22 Euro) und leider lieblos zubereitet. Für zwei Personen mit Apperatif und ein paar kleinen Speisen haben wir 100 Euro gezahlt und sind hungrig gegangen. Service war fast immer aufmerksam, manchmal wurde man innerhalb von 5 min 3 mal angesprochen „ob alles in Ordnung ist“ und dann war teilweise 20-30 min niemand da. Insgesamt kann ich aber leider das Essen für diesen Preis einfach nicht mit guten Gewissen empfehlen. Das geht auf jedenfall besser in dieser Preisklasse, auch in München.

Sehr schönes, kleines aber feines Restaurant und oder auch Bar … direkt am Viktualienmarkt. Sehr gepflegt, gehobene Gastronomie, in der Qualität der Produkte, aber auch in der Optik der Ausstattung… dazu freundlich im Personal. Was mich besonders beeindruckt hat. Die Qualität der Speisen ist aus meiner Sicht sehr gut, preislich auch absolut 👍🏻 . Immerhin sprechen wir hier von München, in bester Lage… von daher sehr gerne fünf Sterne vergeben.

Stylisches Ambiente, sehr gemütlich. Offene Küche, in der kreativ und sehr schmackhaft gekocht wird. Aufmerksamer Service.

Everything was great. Service was very kind and helpful, food was excellent and whole vibe was amazing.

I wasnt amused. To say the slightest. We went there for a special occasion and because I love the restaurant and the people and the food. Can you believe they know even which wine you have from a year ago. Incredible. Anyways. All are there, it was a non busy saturday noon. And I was excited. As the menu changes always a bit and there are always options. And then there werent. There was not one single vegetarian option on the menu. Yes a starter was there, but not for the main course. And don't tell me I can have a salad instead. So after we asked, they waitress came back with the option that the chef could make a pasta with tomatoe sauce...... REALLY. That is the least inspired and 'wanting to serve attitude' ever. A la 'I really don't want to go out of my way' to satisfy the customer. I was shocked and not happy. Such a lazy answer. And for such a restaurant not to have a vegetarian option is lame. The owner heard of it and offered to help which was a good thing and said there would be more options coming up in theffuture. But in that moment, I was disappointed. I will check now before I go again, as I am otherwise not able to select any food. Really hoping this will be better soon. As the restaurant itself and the bar and the drinks and the music is always on top. Oh and the champagne selection is a typical Munich thing. Just big names and getting it more and more expensive instead of finding the good small vineyards and champagne. Well, i guess there are customers for everything. Winelist looks good though. So yes. Have a look, there are a lot of good things in this place. Hope they value it.

Bar in a very stylish setting. The drinks were good (albeit extremely expensive) but not very creative and few cocktail options. One thing that is quite bothersome is the terrible acoustics, which made conversations cumbersome. It didn't help that the music was more than a little annoying and unnecessarily loud. When we gently asked the waiter to turn it down a little, we were told off because the bar was closing soon anyway (in contradiction to the opening hours indicated by Maps, and very early for a bar on a Saturday evening.) Speaking of poor service, it shouldn't cause a big fuss to pay separately as a group. Lastly, the entrance area is badly designed, so there was a constant draught of cold air and smoke from the outside. Overall, one might expect a bit more quality in such a high-price setting, other than just stylish decorum.

Tolle Bar in der man auch Getränke bekommt die nicht auf der Karte stehen. Das Essen und der Service sind hervorragend. Das Essen ist zwar nicht ganz billig, aber die Anrichtung und das Ambiente sind genial. Noan Bier ist laut Karte vorhanden, aber nicht erhältlich.

Sehr leckeres Essen (wir hatten das 3-Gänge-Überraschungsmenü), aufmerksamer Service und tolle Location!

I wish I could give this place more stars because I was hoping for more. The food is good and tasty but for ~€20 for a starter and ~€35 for a main I would have expected a bit more, something special that you would want to come back for. Limited service and guidance on wine.

Ich war spontan ohne zu reservieren dort und habe trotzdem ganz nett einen Tisch zugewiesen bekommen wo ich sehr schön über den ganzen Abend bewirtet würde. In einem schönen Ambiente mit einem tollen Service haben wir den Abend genossen und kann es nur empfehlen💯

Sehr schönes, geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Lokal. Gehobene Preise, aber Preis/Leistung war durchaus in Ordung. Personal sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Gerne wieder!

What a great experience in DOMA - super cool team and a kitchen which is so much better than expected! Really top and not boring - just the way you need it.

We met a relative for dinner the other nite at Domo without knowing what to expect. The food and drink menus are well crafted with careful attention to ingredients along with skillful preparation. Our cocktails were creative and carefully prepared by a skilled bartender. Our meal was on point. The Tatar was amazing. Lobster popcorn flavor and texture held up well in a nori sauce. Truffle pappardelle, braised venison over polenta and brussle sprout leaves and Turbo with a seafood foam were all excellently prepared and presented. Wine by the glass offerings were interesting and fun, yet not overpriced. The service was attentive and knowledgeable. Suggest making a reservation and taking the time to enjoy the experience. Thanks to Domo for an outstanding evening.

Wir haben das 4 gang menü gewählt und wurden nicht entäuscht. Die Kellnerin hat uns jeden Gang erklärt und in perfekten Abständen serviert so dass wir einen gemütlichen Abend hatten. Das Essen war hervorragend und schön präsentiert. Die Portionen mit dem 4 Gang menü waren für uns genau richtig und nicht zu wenig. Wie werden auf jeden Fall bei unseren nächsten München Reise wieder kommen.

The atmosphere and the design of the restaurant was not only very good but also appealing. Our dinner was not planned at all but when we saw the place we wanted to enter for sure. The steak tartar and the schnitzel was amazing. However for me the lobster popcorn was average. Overall we had a good night. However it is important to note that it is not a place for casual dine-in’s and more expensinve.
