It’s terrible I’m waiting here from one hour

Amazing hand pulled noodles and super friendly staff! We had it with tofu and pork belly, both absolutely amazing dishes and generous portions. Only issue is that they played the same song on repeat for the entire time we were there (at least an hour).

Had the worst mapo tofu here, tasteless and showed up cold

You know it's good when the Germans at the table next to you run to a nearby späti to get ayran to deal with the spice :) Very good jiaozi and hand pulled noodles. Flavourful and lots of veggies

I've been in Berlin for many years and it's rare to find such a delicious noodle shop. The fried mushrooms, mao xu wang, kou shui chicken and braised pork are very special.

We ordered the lunch menu and gyoza. The value for money is unbeatable, and the food tasted truly outstanding. Highly recommended; the noodles were incredibly good!

It was very good. My brothers and I ate our way through the lunch menu once, and everything was delicious. The service was fast, even though everything was made fresh.

People are cooking amazing food. I love the variety of choices. I would totally recommend this place. One of the best Chinese restaurants in Berlin. Everyone can find something here for themselves: spicy or not spicy, vegetarian or meat lovers. The attitude of the waiters at this restaurant is really high level. I would definitely come back here again. They also have a huge variety of homemade noodles that is definitely worth to try. If you are looking for something authentic, something new, something that would definitely blow your mind away with a taste journey this place is right for you. Everyone here are very friendly and caring. It has a nice home atmosphere. This place makes me feel like in China and is like a magic portal that brings you to the wonderland of an amazing Chinese cuisine.

Really good quality food over here. Favorites are mapu tofu and Blumenkohl stir fry, which are our go to order. Have always ordered via delivery app but I guess should go in person soon!

Great, authentic Chinese food (not so easy to find in Berlin!), I can still feel it on my tastebuds a couple of hours later. The bean curd salad was very spicy in a good way, the home-made vegetarian dumplings were delicious, the Szechuan mapo tofu and noodles was great and my son loved the Japanese chicken. Wine was fine and cheap (EUR 7.40 for 0,5), the service was really friendly and genuine. Will definitely come again. Also, the toys in the corner for kids are a really nice touch.

We used to be regulars here but they now have a very rude woman who gives terrible service and tries to overcharge you. The quality of the food has also gone down while increasing prices.

I can heartily recommend cucumbers, wonton soup, xiaolongbao, jiaozi with pork, Szechuan beef and fried beef with cumin. An absolute enrichment for the area and also for all Berliners who live further east; Before, you had to drive a lot further for such good Chinese food. The prices are fair.

In my recent visit, I politely informed the waiter about a missing ingredient in my usual dish, but unfortunately, the response was unprofessional as she became defensive and raised her voice. Additionally, the gyozas were disappointingly soggy and hard. 😕 Overall, the poor quality of both the food and service leaves me hesitant to return in the future.

Great food, dry pot is to die for! We ordered a starter (pig ears), veggie dry pot and boiled chicken breast in spicy sauce. Very flavourful, could be a bit more spicy. The portions were so big that we had to take it to go, the price is totally worth the amount and quality of food.

Maoxuewang is much more delicious than Daming’s, highly recommended! ! ! ! !

verggie-friendly chinese restaurant with a great variety of delicious food - some are really spicy, quite authentic with lots of garlic and chili in oil. We got nice home-made kimchi as appetizer. Today, payment with card was not possible.

We go there regularly, all-time vegetarian favorites: cucumber sticks (spicy), barbecue tofu, vegetables Sezchuan style (spicy). The braised pork belly and the dim sun stuffed with beef are popular among meat eaters. Family business where things don't always go smoothly and the same dishes sometimes taste a little different. But always delicious and homemade.

I ordered dumplings from this restaurant via Uber Eats and wasn’t disappointed. The only thing was that the dumplings got a bit cold upon delivery, so I would be interested in dining in someday.

if I could give this place no stars I would. Got terrible food poisoning from the chicken, and was throwing up all night. The dumplings arrived cold, and the rice was also very cold.

Cost effective and simple food. Nothing special in terms of flavors, presentation or taste. A regular go to place for decent noodles and Chinese flavors.

I placed an online order at this store with the promotion of receiving two complimentary drinks for orders above 35 euros. However, when I went to pick up my meal, the owner didn't mention anything about the promotion. I also asked if they had rice, and they said they did. When I opened the order, I was disappointed to find that each foam plastic container was only partially filled, which seemed like a huge waste of packaging. Moreover, the portion size was so small that I couldn't even feel satisfied after finishing the meal. I ordered a beef dish, but there were hardly any beef pieces, and the amount of bean sprouts was also very minimal. It felt like I was fishing for the ingredients rather than enjoying a proper meal. I am extremely dissatisfied with this experience, and I won't be returning to this place again.

Chinesisch asiatisches Restaurant, essen ist gut . Gute Auswahl an Speisen. Wir hatten eine Auswahl an dumplins , und zwei Hauptspeisen alles war frisch und wurde schnell serviert. Die scharfe des leicht scharfen Gerichtes , Rindfleisch mit Paprika Kreuzkümmel und etwas Chili war völlig OK und sehr gut zum Essen, für unseren Geschmack. Leider sind die Stühle zum sitzen etwas unbequem ( Klappgartenstuhl) Wir kommen aber gerne wieder.

Es war superlecker. Ich bin nach Hause gerollt, weil ich nix liegen lassen wollte, aber eigtl schon satt war:)

Wir waren heute da und waren begeistert! Sehr authentisch chinesische Gerichte (schön scharf und toll gewürzt) und ein sehr aufmerksamer Kellner und super Preise und große Portionen. Wir kommen gerne wieder, denn die Karte gibt sehr viel zu entdecken! Kommt schnell hin bevor es noch bekannter wird und alle Hippster es besetzen! 😂

A small family owned restaurant near Frankfurter Allee. The service was super nice (our toddler even got a little gift) and fast. We got out food in a good pace and it was delicious. Price and value are completely fair and to be honest, I cannot name a thing that kinda make me feel not appreciated.

Very generic quality food, the dumplings were quite nice but it was a very small portion. Cold tofu starter was lovely. Twice cooked pork was very disappointing, very small portion and looked nothing like the pictures, and had little flavour.

Es gibt viele asiatische Mischmasch Restaurants hier im Kiez, aber keins das so chinesisch ist wie Smiling Kitchen. Könnte auch in der Kantstraße als Mekka für asiatisches Food in Berlin sein. Danke dass es euch hier im Nordkiez gibt!

In Berlin gibts vielleicht 15 Restaurants, die von sich sagen können, dass es authentische chinesische Küche ist..dieses gehört definitiv dazu!! Eine echte Entdeckung und momentaner Geheimtip für alle, die echte chinesische Küche lieben! Selbstgemachte Dumplings (JiaoZi), Mapo-Tofu, Rindfleisch nach Sezuanart im Feuertopf..wunderbar!

As a dumplings lover, I am a little bit disappointed that the dumplings are not homemade. My Xiao Long Bao is not really done yet, the meat inside ist still raw and also is no soup coming out. The take away packages are packed carefully though. Another (+) is that the sauce for the dumplings is pretty good. 4 stars bc I hope they will sell homemade dumplings one day :D and maybe next time I will try the specialties

We ordered from the restaurant via Lieferando, and were very happy with this decision! The food is very tasty. The Szechuan-style fried dish was great because the sauce releases a roasted, nutty Szechuan pepper aroma. The dishes are definitely not small, which is a bonus given the flavor and rich ingredients. We were so satisfied that we decide to dine in soon! Recommended!

点了水煮牛肉和糖醋排骨，真的很不好吃。。我不知道说很好吃的人有没有吃过正宗的中餐。糖醋排骨的肉很柴，味道没有进到肉里面去，水煮牛肉的肉很不q，并且味道也根本没有四川的影子。 小笼包和烧卖是买来的不是自己做的。对于一家中国餐厅来说。。嗯。。 整体很失望，以为终于东边可以有地道中国菜了。。

The food was really delicious. Be careful if you’re not eating too spicy as the food can be spicy. For us it was perfect but we also prefer it more spicy. Definitely coming back!

I want to give five stars, but there are a few things to point out. The interieur design is a bit all over the place. Café, restaurant, bar it's not very clear. Tables are a little too close together for my taste. Some dishes were amazing such as the Gong Bao Tofu. Mushroom Chicken was somewhat bland. Service people seemed slightly overwhelmed even though it wasnt that packed. So what's the conclusion: It's a decent restaurant with some room to improve. Will come back.

This is BY FAR the BEST authentic Chinese food we have eaten here in Germany. We have tried several places since we moved here in 2019. And we are lucky we found our favourite restaurant. :)

Ausgezeichnete Küche! Richtig lecker. Anmerken muss ich allerdings, dass als "leicht scharf" gekennzeichnete Speisen für mich schon saumäßig scharf waren. Und ich bin eigentlich diesbezüglich nicht zimperlich.

Freundliches Personal und das Essen schmeckt auch sehr lecker. Ein wenig zu teuer, daher 4 Sterne.

Dieses Restaurant war eine bodenlose Enttäuschung. Wir kamen hierher auf Grund der super guten Reviews und hatten Lust auf authentische Chinesische Küche aber es war von vorne bis hinten eine Katastrophe. In der Vorspeise (Dim sums die 100% aus der Tiefkühle war) war ein langes schwarzes Haar...da war die Lust auf mehr eigentlich schon verflogen aber na ja...die Hauptspeisen waren dann ein richtiges Low-Light. Das sezchuan Beef Gericht war mehr Sprossen und Öl als Fleisch und das Beef mit Pakchoi war lauwarm und völlig fad. Der Reis war kalt und hart und auch als er zurück geschickt wurde kam ein identisch furchtbarer Reis....die Bedienung meinte daraufhin "Naja der Topf war halt leer...jetzt haben wir neuen gekocht". Also absolut nicht empfehlenswert...eine anständige Verabschiedung gab's auch nicht. Tut mir leid aber absolut kein Besuch wert.

Really good food and with a chance of getting a table! The food options were really good and it was all very tasty. Prices were fair and service was really nice. Would definitely recommend for people looking for a real Chinese food experience 😊

Leider für uns eine Enttäuschung. Der Service war freundlich. Das Essen war eher fad und die Dumplings nicht hausgemacht. Wer wirklich opulente original chinesische Küche erleben möchte sollte ins Sichuan in die Albrechtstraße fahren!

Auch wenn ich die vorher in diesem Laden befindliche Pizzeria noch immer vermisse, ist die Smiling Kitchen ein würdiger Nachfolger! Ich bin mindestens einmal die Woche während meiner Mittagspause zum Mittagessen- und auch Abends des Öfteren hier anzutreffen. Das Essen ist lecker und authentisch, die Getränke schmackhaft und der Service nett, schnell und zuvorkommend. Die Sanitäranlagen sind vollkommen in Ordnung und die Preise niedrig bis durchschnittlich. Der Mittagstisch ist günstig, lecker und reichhaltig. Ich bin immer wieder gerne hier und ich hätte mir kaum eine bessere Ergänzung für den Kiez und seine kulinarischen Auswahlmöglichkeiten wünschen können.

We came here for a late lunch and were so pleasantly surprised by the food and service. We ordered a two starters, Yangzhou fried rice, special tea with lots of herbs and flowers, and were so impressed that we ordered two kinds of homemade dumplings and a potato dish to take home. They did not disappoint! I don’t judge foods based on a vague notion of “authenticity.” That said, these dishes reminded me of Chinese home cooking and you can tell that they were made with care. We will be back!

Smiling Kitchen hat sich für mich innerhalb der letzten Monate zu einem neuen Lieblingsrestaurant im Kiez entwickelt. Leckere, authentische chinesische Küche zu super fairen Preisen. Die Bedienung ist immer sehr freundlich. Man hat automatisch ein Lächeln im Gesicht, wenn man hier isst. Sehr zu empfehlen sind die kalten Vorspeisen (Hühnerkeule in Chiliöl, sauer scharfe Gurken), die Peking-Nudeln, Rippchen und das Mapo Tofu. Ich probiere mich noch durch.

Viel Auswahl, leckeres Essen und süß dekorierter laden. Personal etwas schüchtern aber Service ist super.

Die Kellner sind mehr mit ihren Handys beschäftigt als mit den Gästen. Wir mussten mehrfach hinter den Tresen gehen mit leeren Gläsern u schmutzigen Geschirr , erst dann wurde nachgeschenkt. Der Rotwein kam aus dem Kühlschrank grusel. Das Essen ist mittelmäßig. Leider kamen die Gerichte stark zeitversetzt so dass der eine schon gegessen hatte als für den anderen das Essen kam. Geht gar nicht.

I wanted to like this place. All the dumplings are store bought frozen. Shrimps were super fishy. Mapo tofu was as snotty as cornstarch as can be.

Per Zufall gefunden, kleines Restaurant mit einem super schnellem Service , das Essen ist auch sehr frisch,lecker und mit Liebe gemacht, schmeckt man einfach. Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert :)

Sehr gutes Essen. Es ist vor allem sehr authentisch. In jedem Fall sehr zu empfehlen.

Wenn man deutsche-chinesische Essen sucht, ist es bestimmt nicht das richtige Restaurant, weil es ein sehr authentisches chinesisches Restaurant ist. Vorspeisen sind absolutely zu empfehlen, besonders die Schafes. Dampling ist köstlich! Ich mag die gebratene. Speisen haben wir Rinder und Fisch bestellt, heimatlandes Geschmack! Es ist zu lecker, habe ich leider nicht photographiert. Außerdem ist der Preis fair. Sehr kinderfreundlich!

Leckere Dim Sum, authentische Küche. Die Nummer G4 war ein Traum, leider ein Stern Abzug, weil man Reis dazu bestellen muss. Die Gerichte sind oft ohne Beilage. Trotzdem empfehlenswert

Wir waren gestern zum ersten Mal im Smiling Kitchen. Vorher war die Pizzaria Il Tinello dort, der wir noch ein wenig hinterhertrauerten. Aber die chinesische Küche ist eine echte Bereicherung für den Kiez! Das Essen ist sehr lecker (nur zur Sicherheit: es hat überhaupt nichts zu tun mit den "Hähnchen-süß-sauer-Restaurants"), alles frisch zubereitet, sehr sympathisches Team. Die Einrichtung innen ist etwas quietschig, aber das stört überhaupt nicht. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Dumpings, Gyoza und Seszuan Nudeln sehr lecker.

Eigentlich gefällt es mir, Essen ist super lecker, leider gibt es ab und zu kleine unregelmäßigen bei der Bedienung (länger Wartezeiten usw.) finde es aber auch nicht so schlimm. 👍
