We were three people. The first of us got our food about five minutes before the rest of us. When the person in question started eating with us, the food was almost cold. All plates, bowls etc. were cold. Therefore, the food was also cooled down quickly. The food was also quite expensive for being Chinese.

Located inside a shopping mall, I don't know why others describe it as cozy, while eating you are basically watching other people working out on treadmills in the upstairs fitness studio. Where you eat is not a separated place but really just an area with tables inside the mall. The food was extremely salty and seemed to be "enhanced" with lots of artificial flavoring - even hours later I felt this weird thirst that you get when you had a lot of MSG. We ordered a pot of tea which cost nothing less than 14(!) euros - and tasted like water because the whole can needed to be flavored with just one or two run-of-the-mill tea bags. We asked the waiter if they could at least kindly add another tea bag, but that request was denied. Won't come back.

Super fast service, delicious food, lots of people around us (Europa Center)

Really fantastic restaurant if you want to eat authentic Chinese cuisine. The quality of the food is high, the service is very good and the prices are reasonable. Thanks to its central location in the Europa Center, the restaurant is also easy to reach. There is plenty of space and it is also suitable for larger groups. However, reservations should be made for peak times.

We are visiting this restaurant almost every time when we visit Berlin. As a Chinese, I can say that the food is authentic and good. Especially recommended are Sichuan dishes, such as Ma La Xiang Guo and 13 Spices plate - very flavorful! Less recommended are Xiaolong Bao from the Dimsum card. They sticked to the bottom and the broth got out.

Never had Chinese food so good in Germany

I had the chance to eat Chinese food for the first time in Berlin. To avoid pork, we ordered a dish with duck. Everything was fine.

The price is good, the food tastes good... and they are friendly. (Often, when you make eye contact with the staff and try to order, they pretend not to see you and move on, but if you talk to them, they come right away.) I think the best value for money lunch menu is mapo tofu (tastes vary a bit) and for dinner, mala xianggu (I tried it with friends a few times and my tastes don't differ at all) The spicy flavor of Mara Xianggu is just right without being painful. However, when you first receive it, the light is on at the bottom, so if you mix it by pressing down on the bottom twice in 3-minute intervals to prevent it from sticking, you can scrape all the way to the bottom. Die Preise sind gut, das Essen schmeckt hervorragend und das Personal ist freundlich. (Manchmal, wenn Sie versuchen, mit dem Personal Augenkontakt aufzunehmen um zu bestellen, tun sie so, als würden sie Sie nicht sehen, aber wenn Sie sie ansprechen, kommen sie sofort zu Ihnen.) Das beste Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis für das Mittagessen scheint Mapo Tofu zu sein (Geschmäcker können verschieden sein). Das Abendessen wäre dann Mala Schangua?? (Ich habe es ein paar Mal mit Freunden gegessen und es gibt keine geteilten Meinungen darüber). Der scharfe Geschmack von Mala schangua?? ist angenehm und nicht überwältigend. Achten Sie darauf, dass bei der ersten Zubereitung der Brenner unter dem Gericht eingeschaltet ist. Rühren Sie das Gericht etwa alle drei Minuten zwei Mal um, damit nichts am Boden anbrennt und Sie alles aufessen können. The prices are good, the food is delicious, and the staff are friendly. (Sometimes when you try to make eye contact with the staff to order, they pretend not to see you, but if you speak up, they come right over.) The best value for money at lunch seems to be the Mapo Tofu (tastes may vary). For dinner, Mala Schangua?? is great (I've had it a few times with friends and there are no divided opinions about it). The spiciness of the Mala Schangua?? is not painful but just right. Note that when you first get it, the burner underneath is lit, so stir the dish every three minutes, about twice, to prevent anything from sticking to the bottom and to ensure you can scrape it all up.

Amazing place, crazy food, super tasty and they’re super willing to accommodate special requirements. Place also has a nice ancient vibe which helps set the mood. Would specially recommend the tan/tan noodles!

I was here about a week ago. The food is authentic Chinese and really delicious. My Mapo tofu had a very pleasant spiciness and my dumplings were also very tasty. Price-performance is also right. Staff was very friendly. I'll be back 👍

I had imagined a different atmosphere based on the description, but then I stayed at a free table in the shopping arcade. Then you have something to look at. Overall satisfactory. The service was quite friendly, although not particularly enthusiastic. I didn't know the "Peking Soup", in other Chinese restaurants I always got a different kind, but for my sake. I didn't eat them completely. It was nice and hot, which cannot be said about the rice. It also came without a lid. I could certainly have asked for spice paste or soy sauce for seasoning. The pork was very well seasoned and I enjoyed it. A little less al dente would have been okay, but given the recipe, that might have been undesirable. Overall, I don't want to give it more than three stars.

Everything is good except the food, especially the birds. It seems that the duck and chicken were fried several times, it cooled down, and then fried again. For a street cafe, the food quality is ok. For a restaurant - no.

In principle, delicious Chinese food, but unfortunately I ordered something standard, which I later regret because I had the chance to order the lamb dish, for example, which was delicious from my colleague. The mixed dumplings, on the other hand, were great. The ambience is actually quite nice, but at the end of the day it's still in a shopping center.

This has been so far my worst experience in a restaurant in Berlin. Wow, the food was so bad: the soup was barely warm, the sweet and sour sauce looked like a mix of canned fruit cocktails in red sauce, and the chicken had ZERO flavor. The staff was not friendly at all. We only went because of the good ratings on google maps, but seriously, I will never go back to this place.

They are all quite delicious. I recommend the boiled fish and the chicken feet and large intestine pot.

Came here specially to eat it. There is nothing wrong with the taste. The cabbage inside Maoxuewang was a lot mushy. I wish I could change the plate to a different plate. The plate was a bit torn and the edges were broken.

Average and overpriced food in a train station atmosphere. There are 100 equally or even better restaurants in the same segment. No recommendation!

Ordered Sichuan boiled fish & chicken w/ Sichuan pepper. Both dishes were delicious! Friendly & attentive service. Will definitely come back and try more from their menu.

I ordered a large plate of chicken for lunch today. It was very delicious and a large portion. Water spinach is also delicious. The price is reasonable and the food is served quickly.

Asian restaurants are all made on the same model, too big and impersonal, let's not talk about sushi which is made for Europeans and has no taste. The duck was good and the vegetables too. Finally disappointed, fortunately I was accompanied by my son and the evening was nice. To review their conception of these great soulless restaurants.

Ming Dynasty is a traditional Chinese restaurant like I have never seen or tasted before. Every dish we have tried there so far has been simply delicious and spicy here means really spicy - not European spicy. Highly recommended.

We ordered the lovers menu. Unfortunately it was inedible, the service staff spoke little or no German and they didn't want to give us the bill. Either it was too salty, too spicy, already cold or an indefinable consistency, so we didn't even know what we were supposed to eat.

Come here for the authentic Chinese food taste and not the atmosphere! Inside a mall, this restaurant might not appear to be anything special but do not let that fool you. Here you get great tasting food and at decent prices! Peking duck as a specialty is always worth trying and they also know how to make that signature dish here - NOT all Chinese restaurants know how to do that (especially not outside of the origin, which is Beijing!). Highly recommended restaurant... even though the location is inside a mall and "the scene" is rather boring... just to be honest...

The restaurant is located on the first floor in the Europa Center with a view of the clock flowing time. You can go up via escalator. Beautifully designed, the red lanterns wave and there is plenty of seating. At lunchtime it is well filled. We had a very pleasant time with very authentic Chinese cuisine. Dishes were tasty and sufficient. Service very careful and friendly.

It's very oily, the taste is average, there are a lot of people, and the price is not expensive.

Terrible chicken and corn soup. Very gelatinous with zero flavour. Came out barely warm. €11 for a Coke Zero is outrageous. With so many poor reviews I can’t understand the good ones, they look suspicious to me. Do not recommend.

Went to this restaurant spontaneously on a Thursday evening and it was really full. Service is quick and very friendly. The selection of dishes is large and many dishes are authentically Chinese and not Germanized. Prices and portions are also very appropriate. Overall very satisfied!

Very good Chinese restaurant and authentic, when you see lots of Chinese inside it means you are in a true one ! The place is crowded which means it’s famous. We ordered a lot of meals and we are satisfied by all of them. The service is not the best but who cares ? maybe the westerners ? We are here for the food !
