Wow this place was amazing, up the steel steps near chicken place and your in, staff was warm and friendly but the food was BIG portions and excellent, will be going back before we leave Berlin.

The restaurant is located in the very center of the building. Cozy. Everything is fresh and tasty. The only thing that was confusing is that there is a fitness center opposite and the people who work out on the exercise machines there look through the window at the people sitting in the restaurant.

Weird white fish delivery bucket was both unusually weird and fantastic. Portions on the large side, very tasty and moderately unhealthy.

Great food and service. Lived in China 4 years and the food of Ming Dynastiy is one of the only places in Berlin that gets close to Original. If you cant handle spicy, dont order spicy. This place does not care if u are not used to it. They keep it authentic

Frequent place to dine in for authentic Chinese food. Recently tried their takeaway many times, never let you down! Food taste and portion remain the same as dine in experience. Highly recommended!

It’s rly great and authentic , the dishes are decent with a good price.

It tastes great. The Maoxuewang is a bit spicy, but the portion is filling. Children love to eat Di San Xian, especially the potatoes in it.

We went to Ming Dynastie for lunch and ordered chicken gong bao and some dumplings. The dumplings were really good- very juicy and the covering was silky. The chicken was a let down as it was too sweet for my liking (in spite of a double Chilli sign on the menu). However, everything was fresh and the quantity is quite a lot. Service is great!

Expect very generous portions! The staff are very friendly and good with kids. It's pleasantly busy, a nice full restaurant, without being loud or overwhelming. Highly recommend. Also, if you want chopsticks, just ask. It is not unusual for restaurants to presume you don't use chopsticks. Just be polite.

I ordered Maoxuewang before and thought the fish fillets were delicious. This time I ordered boiled fish, and I was not disappointed. The portion was huge. The roasted leg of lamb is also very authentic.

Roasted sweet and sour duck with fried noodles and rice. And shrimp (The garlic sauce was forgotten, but not bad!

Be aware - not good In a mall, not authentic at all, lackningen both flavour and freshness. Beef oyster with broccoli tasted like beef with gravy sauce. Roasted duck was not good at all. Crispy chicken tasted like nuggets.

Maosuwang was very spicy, but I ate it well.

If you want to fall in love with Chinese cuisine, this is definitely the place to be :) The seafood soup platter is definitely recommended. Edit: Came back after almost a year with high expectations. Ordered the beef with onion. The food came very fast. After starting to eat, I realised that the chef went crazy with the bag of salt he received. He/she added atleast 1 Kg of salt to the dish. Normally I am not a salty person, but after today’s lunch I definitely became one. So, sorry Ming Dynastie.. I have to take away all the good things I mentioned last time.

You can still taste the same taste as it did 20 or 30 years ago. The meat is evenly balanced between fat and lean, and it melts in your mouth.

The food was very good, unfortunately one of two dishes ordered was forgotten, so my companion only got the food 15 minutes later after further information.

The staff only speaks Chinese. The sweet sour sauce is super cheap, almost no vegetables just some carrots and canned pineapple. The price at 16.50 is far too high for the quality offered. Decoration and ambience are good.

That was a very tasty dinner. Rarely enjoyed such good Chinese cuisine. I was able to easily change my chosen noodle soup (C8) from pork to chicken and it was really great. My wife's dish (baked chicken with Chinese vegetables) was also really tasty. Likewise the side dish egg rice. The only question we ask ourselves...why didn't we come here much earlier? ;)

Super authentic Gong Bao Chicken, I had it so good last time in Beijing!! It's a little noisy on site since it's located in the Europa Center, but it's worth it! I always crave this delicious dish :)

I used to comment this restaurant as best restaurant in Berlin. I'm afraid that I have to change that opinion now. Ordered via Uber eats, it took one hour to prepare the food, took another one hour to deliver it. Taste itself not change much, but something must goes wrong someway.

Just wow. I went there at the suggestion of a friend from China. We ate there the same way as if I was visiting China. Simply original, super good Chinese food. From spicy to mild dishes, from vegetarian to meat. I recommend it to anyone who is considering it.

I came to Berlin because of the European Cup football match in Berlin and had a good dining experience at this restaurant. Chicken feet, pig intestines and boiled beef are both very good, recommended.

The portion of Maoxuewang is super large, the filling is generous, and it is spicy and goes well with rice. The chicken feet and fat intestines in a pot are also delicious, the chicken feet are very soft and glutinous. Four people ordered three dishes and were very full.

So I'm really at a loss for words. We went to this restaurant specifically because of the reviews. Everything ready and frozen goods. Total taste failure. It doesn't matter whether it's a starter or a main course. We had to stop eating.

Portions are large. Unfortunately, one dish was so spicy that we couldn't really eat it. When we ordered we specifically asked if it was spicy and that we would like it mild. Therefore only 3 stars. The other dish was okay. Wouldn't come here again

I really do not understand the positive reviews. Been there 2 times now. Both times the food and total experience was horrible. The second time we only came because people invited us there. The service is rude, the food is of poor quality and the seating area is in a shopping mall. Yesterday we were there for a Chinese hotpot. The woman "explaining" it was unintelligible. We could not choose our meats because everything was already freshly prepared. Freshly prepared turned out to be frozen and presented in a freezer box. Really, they just put the freezer boxes on the table. Presenting it on a plate was probably too much trouble. And wow, especially two guys were so rude. These constant "funny" remarks after we had the audacity to have a question about one of the meats. And all of the waiters looked the other way when talking to you. There are so many better options in Berlin. Even a lot of the tourist places.

It was a very tiring day, but wow. . . It was truly invigorating. I wondered if Sichuan food was like this. It was delicious I ordered steamed fish and mapo tofu, and it was so delicious that I went back the next day and ordered gongbogi, stir-fried water spinach, and half-size wonton. The steamed fish was spicy even though I set the spiciness to medium, but it was delicious for the first time. The mapo tofu had the best flavor. I ordered a half size, about Gungbogi, and it was good to eat with rice. There was a lot of water spinach and it tasted good. However, although the wontons were delicious, they were a bit salty. If I get a chance to visit again, I think I will go. It was good to refresh my appetite when I was tired.
