The service was excellent; they even brought complimentary side dishes. I'll definitely come back often. The fried thunderbolt-shaped fried dough balls were incredibly delicious, bursting with flavor and aroma.

The service and food were great, apart from a few gristles, which are probably unavoidable. Despite the restaurant being very busy, we still got a table without a reservation.

Only go there if you really love Chinese food. The spices can be very intimidating and the chilli can put the you off. The vibe is great and it's recommended to go with a chinese friend. The portion size is deceiving and you may end up with 2 ltr of soup for one person if you don't know what to expect.

Good Chinese food, good service

I went here once for lunch and had no complaints. The service was good, the food was very good, and the ambiance was a bit like eating in a department store, which it essentially is, but that creates a lot of noise and makes it feel anything but cozy. I recently tried to make a reservation for a Saturday, but it wasn't confirmed. So I went there spontaneously, hoping for a free table, but it was completely overrun with tourists and the line barely moved. So I went somewhere else. I would recommend making a reservation. It's not possible on weekends, and be prepared to wait.

The food is an absolute highlight of this Chinese restaurant. Truly top-notch, one of the best Chinese restaurants in all of Berlin! However, I would improve the service; it was lacking for me personally. The waiters and waitresses seemed to stare, which made me feel uncomfortable, and their German skills left something to be desired. That's why I'm only giving it 4 stars instead of 5 – there's definitely room for improvement!

Delicious food right in the middle of the Europa-Center.

The most important thing about Ming Dynasty in the Europa Center is its authentic Chinese cuisine. The menu is roughly the same as at Ming Dynasty Jannowitzbrücke. However, there are differences in taste and portion sizes. I'm deducting one point for the ambiance because most of the seating is on the interior balustrade and the chairs are a bit low. Otherwise, the decor is very nice and stylish. Considering the number of guests, the service is quite quick, friendly, and competent. We've been there several times and tried various dishes. Everything was delicious. Overall, a definite recommendation.

Highly recommended! This isn't your average Chinese restaurant. This is authentic Chinese cuisine. My meal was flavorful—and quite spicy. Not European-style spicy 😅, but right on the edge. All in all: fantastic food! I would recommend everyone come here. The menu is truly amazing!

I've been here twice with Korean friends. It's a truly authentic Chinese restaurant, and they offer free refills on rice. I especially ordered the seafood mala-tang (spicy spicy fish stew), and the white fish was incredibly delicious. I'm not usually a fan of seafood, but I still enjoyed it.

We were there around midday; it was very crowded and quite noisy, but still okay. The reception was friendly but hectic, and taking our order was also hectic and quick, but well-organized, so the drinks and first course arrived very quickly. The cuisine was authentic, the portions were large, and the prices were perfectly reasonable! We had sweet and sour duck, roast duck, and chicken with vegetables and noodle soup as main courses, and dumplings and corn soup as starters. Everything was delicious and flavorful. It could have been a bit warmer in some parts, though. We were satisfied and would come back for lunch while shopping. However, in my opinion, the atmosphere in the Europa Center and the restaurant's ambiance aren't what I'd come for a cozy and pleasant evening. Therefore, a slight deduction in points! But still, I recommend it!!

The food is delicious and authentic. Prices are high, but the food is very good. I'd say it's good value for money. The service is a bit basic here and there. I wouldn't usually go there for the atmosphere, as it's located in the middle of a shopping center. But it's worth a visit.

Lots of great dishes, served coolly. We were extremely satisfied. That's what a restaurant should be!

Stopped by this place while craving some Chinese food, and it turned out to be a great choice. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and the staff were polite and attentive. The food came out quickly and everything tasted delicious, especially the Sichuan style dishes. The chili oil was clearly homemade and packed with flavor. The only minor downside was the rice, which could’ve been better, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. Definitely a spot I’d recommend to anyone who enjoys authentic Chinese cuisine.

The portions of the menu for two were very large, so not for those with a small appetite. The ambiance is nice, but you're sitting in the hallways of the Europe Center, so all in all, I highly recommend it.

It's my first time at Daming Restaurant, and the owner thoughtfully served a small appetizer 🤤; a cold pig heart salad in the cool autumn breeze; even though I'm away from home, it warms my heart ❤️

Besides the price of the water, I’d say it’s a great place to find authentic Asian food, made by Asians, tasting genuinely Asian, and really good. The atmosphere was very crowded, and since it’s next to McDonald’s, there was quite a bit of noise (and even a fight that night). The dishes were fairly priced for the portion size. The lighting could be better, and I couldn’t find any accessible or free bathroom.

Walking by in the area and wanted some Chinese food. Arrived at 2:30pm and the restaurant was still nearly packed. Staff was very nice and food arrived quickly. Everything was tasty, especially the Sichuan-styled dishes - they have a great chilli oil mix (which I am sure was done in-house). Slight let down was the quality of the rice they provided - really not top notch - but it did not detracted from the general experience too much. Would still very much recommend this place.

My friend and I went on Sunday. Despite it being a day off, there weren't many guests, so the atmosphere was calm and relaxed. Perhaps thanks to the large, cozy dining room. I enjoyed the food, but the chipped dishes somewhat marred the experience. I took off one star for that, as well as for the service: I like it when waiters are unobtrusive, but not that unobtrusive. It would be nice if they played some soft Chinese music in the background. Overall, I recommend it; we'd be happy to come back if we have the chance.

Very interesting place to have a dinner

It was delicious. I looked up the guide and ordered the Thirteen Spices Mix, which included chicken feet, rice cakes, corn, shrimp, and crayfish. It was spicy, fresh, and fragrant. It was very filling for two people. I would order this dish again!

If you're lucky, it's freshly made, but if you're unlucky, it's leftovers heated up. Don't go there on weekdays, as there's a high chance they'll be heated up leftovers.

There are a few exceptionally good and a few not-so-good points, which leads me to give it 4 stars overall. In short: If you want "proper" Chinese food, you'll be satisfied here. If you also value a better atmosphere and service, you might want to look elsewhere. The food is pretty good and (unlike some "general" Asian restaurants) has a fairly clear direction, with plenty of spice, garlic, and chili, so it's more Western Chinese. There are also dishes with less spice for those who don't like that. The atmosphere can be changeable - I find the Europacenter nice in itself, but there might be some kind of event or something going on, or there might be screaming children there, and then it can get loud in the restaurant. The service was noticeably unfriendly, especially at first - until we ordered a set menu for several people, which was probably a bit above average in price, other, nicer people came by, which overall only left a slightly better impression.

Came here as a group of 4, and found the place packed. Had to wait a bit but it was well worth it. Was surprised by how good the food was. We enjoyed every single dish and cleaned the plates. And the price was very reasonable. Will come back again in the next few days while I am still in Berlin!

Located in the Europa Center. The front aisle is relatively noisy and drafty. If you go into the restaurant, there are family-style tables, and it's more comfortable to sit there. The food was freshly prepared and tasty.
