Hi, we ordered prawns and fried pork. Prawns were breaded, however it was not mentioned on the menu. Both dishes were overfat with high quantity of oil in it. Could compare it to fast food sold in paper buckets where you pay usually 6-7 eur per portion. There we paid around 40 for the food and 10 for Apfelshorle and sparkling water. I‘d rather go to restaurant for that price where there is much better quality of food. Service was good.

I often come here to eat; I'm used to eating with chopsticks and a bowl, but every time they bring me a plate and cutlery, and I have to ask for a bowl and chopsticks. When you frequent a place and leave good tips, you expect them to remember you, but instead... today, they even brought me a broken bowl. The food is average, the atmosphere is that of a shopping mall, but the red lamps are very nice. If you don't have high expectations, it's worth a try—portions are generous.

The dumplings with soup (xiaolongbao) are good 9/10, shrimp dumplings are exellent 9/10. Duck is dry (6/10) and the sauce is terrible for me, too sweet and it doesn’t suit the duck. The fish bowl is huge. U should not order fish bowl if u dont go with at least two more people. However the fish soup is good, not too spicy. The meal costed me around 60e. Affordable restaurant, i would recommend friends to come.

Since it was dinner time, I called and made a reservation in advance. As soon as I entered, the manager greeted me very kindly. He also recommended mapo tofu and another menu item, saying that Koreans would enjoy spicy food. They say that when Koreans go there, they give them a lot of food and refills. So I just can't understand all the good reviews!! This was our second time eating there and if I could deduct stars I would... Let's start with the only positive thing from our visit. Despite the fact that we hadn't made a reservation, they tried to find us a seat as quickly as possible and simply brought us a stool at the table that was otherwise in the entrance area. We found this to be very friendly because they could have sent us away. Drinks were also picked up and delivered quite quickly. But then it started...when it came to the food we had a few questions and small changes that we wanted to note. The lady who wanted to take our order was apparently in a hurry and didn't feel like it at all because none of us were even allowed to say anything because she wanted to take the order from the next person in our group straight away!!! After everyone had ordered, we asked if there were any sauces included and if they didn't mention what we would like with it... the answer was "yes, we'll bring extra" and it was gone. We immediately had a bad feeling about our orders and, to be honest, didn't feel at all comfortable there. Well since we were all hungry we of course stayed there, which was a complete mistake. Rarely have I waited so long for my food only to find out that half of it was missing as I feared!!! In addition, we sometimes received our food at intervals of 10-15 minutes, so the first one was already finished when the last one got their food. When we then mentioned that there was still food missing, they tried to portray us as stupid and told us we hadn't ordered more and that was exactly that. We then asked for a map to show what was missing...they very reluctantly brought the map to us. Then finally someone came who seemed willing to clarify the whole thing and we were brought the food. I don't want to say anything about the taste of the food, I don't know what we wanted to rate here on Google, but we definitely got everything else but not authentic cuisine. The rice and noodles were just dry and hard. The meat and sauces were good but overall I could have gone to a Chinese takeaway and gotten better food. When it came to paying, we commented again that today's visit wasn't really nice and that after the incident we were treated even worse than before... We said it in a really friendly way, weren't loud or anything like that, we just explained it to each other and explained why we weren't going to tip this time. After that it was finally over anyway, no more goodbyes or anything else when leaving. Last but not least, I can only say that there are so many good restaurants in the area that are even cheaper that it's a favor to go to this place.

Unrealistically spicy dishes that are impossible to eat, when ordering for delivery there is no warning anywhere that the food is spicy, resulting in 2 dishes that no one ate. Delivery from this establishment took 1 hour, half the container simply leaked due to poor quality dishes. For that kind of money we expected a lot more

I tried this Chinese restaurant for the first time on the recommendation of my Chinese friends with them. On the first visit I had a large bowl of meat soaked in spicy oil, along with rice and an appetizer - unfortunately I can't remember the names. This time we ordered from the lunch menu: chicken with garlic and peanuts and crispy chicken with a simple sauce. It was served with rice and the portion was reasonable. However, the crispy chicken didn't have a particularly intense flavor, while I really enjoyed the garlic sauce. Overall I'm happy, but next time I'll try something a little more unusual!

The waiters are very nice, warm and friendly, the dishes are cost-effective and the portions are huge! One dish is enough for two meals😃 The chef's seasoning is really not to be complimented. The dry pot sausages and the large plate of chicken can be seasoned to taste salty and sweet. Could it be that they have been adjusted to suit German tastes?

Unfortunately I can't comment on the food as the experience ended beforehand. Had a reservation. Upon entry, I was rudely directed to the reception desk without a hello or any other greeting. After standing there lost for 3 minutes, after no one noticed us and all the staff skillfully ignored us, we left. If you want to have guests, you should also be hospitable. Not a good start.

No recommendation! More of a warning! If you really want to get ripped off as a guest, this is the place to go. The staff exudes from every pore that they don't feel like being here and working. The dish is thrown at you in such a way that you wonder what the dishes can withstand. But this is compensated for by the volume with which it is then put together (let's call it) 'put together' at the table before it is cleared away. And it's similar with the food: where the staff is reminiscent of a university cafeteria, the food is easy to keep up with: not seasoned and tough (and that was shrimp!) We don't even want to talk about the prices: for a large beer, large cola and 2 wonton soups as a starter, we canceled the rest of the order, 32 euros were due. Find a nice alternative! The university cafeteria mentioned is not far away! And much cheaper!

I have known the restaurant for years and have always enjoyed eating Dapanji (大盘鸡). However, I observed a continuous deterioration in quality. It's a shame because Ming Dynasty is one of the few authentic Chinese restaurants in Berlin. You can see that people are saving money on food. Just today there was very little meat in the Fuqi feipian (夫妻肺片). I feel like quality is no longer the priority. It's a shame!

Highly recommend this restaurant! I stayed in Berlin for four days and came here for dinner two days in a row because it tasted so good. As soon as you walk in, you can smell the familiar aroma and instantly know that you are in the right place. More than half of the restaurant's customers are Chinese, which is enough proof of its authenticity. On the first day, I ordered fish-flavored shredded pork, roasted eggplant and sweet and sour pork. They were all delicious. The next day I ordered Guobao Pork, Kung Pao Chicken and Dumplings. The staff member came over and said jokingly: "It's so expensive to eat dumplings in a restaurant, why not make them yourself at home." At that moment, I felt like I was being treated as warmly as family. The other waiters are also very friendly and the kids love it here.

The Ming Dynasty West is located in the middle of the Europa Center and is one of my absolute favorite Chinese places in Berlin. Due to its location in the shopping center and the fact that the store is always busy, it seems a bit hectic at first glance, but it is not necessarily uncomfortable and you can always get a table very quickly. The service is also very quick and attentive. Funnily enough, you automatically get different cutlery depending on your external appearance, but as a German you can also get chopsticks on request without any problems. Basically, the food is always ready surprisingly quickly. Every now and then it happened that the timing of the individual dishes wasn't so well coordinated and the starter came after the main course, but usually everything works well. The selection of dishes is a big plus for me. For “beginners” there are the classic dishes that you can find at every Chinese restaurant, but those who like more exotic dishes will also find what they are looking for here. The quality of the food was really, really good every time I was there and it was cooked with authentic spices. The spicy food here is definitely spicy and they don't skimp on the Sichuan pepper either. What I particularly like is the fact that a large number of my favorite dishes are also available as vegan versions. The “lamb” with cumin, for example, is also a dream with a meat substitute. My wife and I will definitely continue to enjoy eating here.

Disappointing service - never again We made reservations to eat hotpot a week in advance and called specifically to make sure no pre-order was necessary. However, we found out on site that you have to order hotpot a day in advance - although this was neither on the website nor was we told on the phone. The staff was rude and unwilling to accommodate us even though it was their own fault. The manager didn't speak any German and just brushed us off with "order from the menu and eat." We left the restaurant without hotpot and in a bad mood. Absolutely not recommended for anyone who values ​​service.

The menu also includes many typical Chinese dishes with offal, shrimp and beef. But we only ate vegetarian food, which is very possible here. I am not really sure how this place has gotten so many goods reviews from "local guides". As a person from South East Asia, the food is subpar at best. Ordered the fried rice with prawns(rice was pretty much burnt, veggies almost raw, prawns were the only saving grace) and tan tan style soup with prawns wantons (soup was over seasoned with sesame oil). The best is that they charged EUR 50 for this which is really saying something because I can get much better authentic food anywhere else. Will definitely not be coming back here ever again.

First off the great service and friendliness of staff must be mentioned. Thereafter of course their knowledge of food and menus being able to make relevant recommendations. They speak English also but German of course. Atmosphere is good but better if you sit with a view which was made possible after we arrived and the staff immediate accommodated us. Just next to McDonald's in Ku'damm in Berlin. Went on a busy Friday night after Xmas market. Had the chicken with potatoes and noodles. The dish has 3 chillies referring to the heat level. The staff advised warned me about the chilli level, but actually they are probably mindful of local palates. I found it to be really tasty with a good kick but not crazily so. The rice was piping hot. Massive portions. This dish would serve 3.

One of the few really authentic Chinese restaurants in Berlin, especially if you like Sichuan cuisine, because the taste of Sichuan pepper is not for everyone. This is not being stingy here. The fish dishes are particularly worth mentioning here. This is what I know from China and from Chinese chefs in private here. Anyone who expects the uniformity of the Maggichinese on the corner with the corresponding prices is wrong here. You can like the place or not. In any case, we like looking down into the atrium of the Europacenter.

I had fried chicken with noodles. It came with a before soup, which is also delicious. It is a great place to sit and visit after maybe the zoo trip. The staff were so nice. They were all Asians (I am assuming they were all Chinese people and know what they were doing).

On Saturday it is better to order in advance, long waiting time for a table, a lot of staff and a lot of work. Food was great but waiting time was 35 minutes. Price performance great. Not for people who want to eat in peace, very loud. Everything went great on Sunday, we got a table straight away and the food after 10 minutes. So avoid Saturday 😁 I also gave the tip from Saturday on Sunday.
