Mr. Liu China Restaurant in Berlin

This review is for a food delivery: Because of the many good reviews about the authentic taste and the great quality, I was very excited. The starters were good. The mixed dim sum tasted great. The “wraps” with duck meat were great. The sour spicy soup was a bit too sour. Unfortunately the main courses were completely disappointing. The Szechuan-style dish was spicy, but unfortunately that was it. No Sichuan pepper, too little salt, bean paste not present in the taste. The quality of the ingredients was great. Unfortunately, the duck in happiness was completely bland. Here you had the feeling that all spice was missing. Unfortunately, the “traditionally fried dish” had hardly any seasoning. Just a very present "smoky" overtone, which was the main taste. The salinity was good here. Unfortunately, all three main courses were not as expected. The reviews that have already taken place paint a different picture here. The portion sizes themselves were ok.

My favourite Chinese restaurant in Berlin; the food is great and relatively cheap and the owners are friendly. The owners come from Qingtian (Zhejiang) like most of the Chinese community in continental Europe and the food tastes as good as what my grandma/mother cook and what I have eaten when visiting my family there.

We discovered the restaurant in our corner by chance and really liked the food and service. We would definitely recommend the restaurant.

The taste is delicious and the service is friendly. Knowing that we are from Taiwan, we provide special food and care. If Taiwanese people come to Berlin to visit, they can take the time to visit this store and feel like meeting old friends in a foreign country.

Worst Chinese restaurant I’ve ever visit in Berlin. Everything tasted similar and has no originality. Quality of the ingredients was also quite low, we ordered a dish with lamb meat but it was just fatty part and not edible for us. And the portion was small.

The ambience is deceptive, quite plain, but the food tastes even better. Authentic dishes, tasty and reasonably priced. Lunch menus recommended. Very nice service

Good Chinese home cooking, taste is good and original. Portions are OK, prices too. You can't find or expect a taste explosion here, but it's still worth a visit to fill up and eat a few simple Chinese dishes. 4 Jiao Zi (here Guo Tie) for 5 € are too much. They are simply too small for that.

This is my first time eating a Chinese restaurant in Berlin. I must recommend the fish-flavored eggplant. It’s really delicious. The eggplant is soft but not rotten. The sauce goes well with rice. I also like the Shanghai green and pig ears. After all, they are so rare. I have seen pig ears abroad. The service is also very good. Thank you to the boss lady for the warm hospitality!

头盘凉菜味道中规中矩，比较家常。剁椒鲈鱼食材很新鲜，很入味，鱼不大，份量正合适。

酸汤肥牛强推，尤其下饭！冒烤鸭适合喜欢烤鸭的宝们，其实就是把烤鱼的鱼换成了鸭。猪蹄不推荐了，德国猪肉那股味道还是很难去掉的

Very authentic Chinese food. Great service and atmosphere. Not so crowed. Dog friendly.

Disappointed with the fact that they have 2 menus, one in Chinese and that you don’t get it. I don’t care it’s in Chinese I can google translate. And the dishes which are on the Chinese menu are much more i interesting like an entire grilled sea bass or a hot pot etc. Just ask for it when you sit down. The German menu it’s ok, dumplings ahhhh maybe the fried one who I I don’t try. The fish comes deep fried and in pieces similar to nuggets. Not what I was expecting. Good service had a couple of teas.

来吃过多次了，菜的口味不错。冒烤鸭是半只烤鸭➕一部分毛肚，口味偏咸一些，也比烤鱼要辣。老板人很好，提一些特殊的需求都可以照顾到。推荐小炒肉，烤鱼，冒烤鸭。很推荐没来过的朋友尝尝。

Angenehme Atmosphäre und Service. In der Woche Mittagstisch. Geschützte Außenterrasse.

Die Vorspeise, gegarte Schweineohren mit gr. Gurke pikant angemacht, waren die besten, die ich je hatte und ich bestelle sie überall, wo sie auf der Karte stehen. Die geschmorten Schweinefüße waren ebenfalls köstlich und mal was anderes. Seltsamerweise ist die Speisekarte vor Ort ein wenig anders und authentischer, als für Lieferando und Co. Als wir da waren, waren wir die einzigen Europäer, die übrigen Gäste sprachen chinesisch. Es war ein schöner Abend und ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Wir sind Fans!

The food is amazing, it's so authentic and flavourful, if you're looking for genuine Chinese cuisine, this is the perfect place to experience it, absolutely incredible. The service is also really good, the waiters are very nice and the prices are quite low for the portions served. The only thing I'd "complain" about is the decoration, it feels a bit dated but, in all honesty, with food like that, I couldn't really care about the decoration

Sehr gut gegessen, unprätentiös und authentisch - vor allem kein Glutamat in der Küche! 👏

Sehr positiv finde ich, dass hier generell alles ohne Glutamat zubereitet wird. Auch deshalb schmeckt alles naturell. Die Bedienung war sehr schnell und freundlich. Das Essen hat super geschmeckt und es war günstig!

If you care about authentic amazing quality then come here if you like being the only non Chinese person (assuming you’re non Chinese) then come here. It’s that good it is tasty the staff is great! Ask for the mandarin menu and translate with google. I LOVE THIS PLACE 20 stars!!!

Tolles Restaurant, tolles Essen, sehr freundliche Bedienung.

Bin begeistert. Absolut empfehlenswert. Unscheinbare Location, zuerst war ich skeptisch. Aber das Essen war sehr authentisch chinesisch und nicht “eingedeutscht”, hat fabelhaft geschmeckt und zu all dem auch noch günstig. Hut ab!!

Review as an Asian, the food is authentic and worth trying. The minced chilli sea bass is not really spicy though.

Very delicious, tried pork ears for the first time (really good!), but their fish, beef and ESPECIALLY pork belly are all lovely. Also really liked the mixed dim sum, and the lady serving us was very sweet.

Heute das erste Mal da gewesen. Ich komme wieder. Danke das Dim Sum.
