The food was delicious and filling, and the service was excellent. The flatbread, in particular, was so good I could have lived off it for years.

The lamb skewer was truly excellent – ​​juicy, aromatic, and grilled to perfection. Highly recommended! The dürüm döner, however, unfortunately didn't impress me: hardly any flavor, far too much salad, very little meat, and the bread was much too thick. The lamb skewer was great, but the accompanying sauce was rather average. Hummus would have been a much better choice. On the positive side, we didn't have to wait long at all – the food was served very quickly. Overall, still a pleasant experience.

⭐Slemani Grill, Munich For many months, my colleagues and I regularly dined at Slemani Grill. Our go-to dish was always number 30 – "Shawarma Plate with Salad Only," accompanied by a pitcher of ayran. For about six months, the price had remained constant at €12, and we were generally satisfied with the selection. ❗ Unexpected Price Increase However, on December 8, 2025, we were in for a major disappointment: The price was increased to €15 without any prior notice. When we spoke to the new waiter about it, he simply told us that the price had always been that way – a statement that clearly contradicts our previous experience. We found this lack of transparency and the way the information was communicated particularly disappointing. 📉 Conclusion Due to this unannounced and inexplicable price change, my colleagues and I have decided not to visit Slemani Grill in the future. There are plenty of other options nearby where price changes are clearly communicated, so regular customers aren't confronted with unexpected price hikes. Rating: ⭐⭐☆☆☆ (2/5) The food is good, but the lack of price transparency and unprofessional handling of customer inquiries detract from the overall experience.

Most of the time they dont hive fresh bread. This happens multiple times. Behaving as guests are not important for them. Even I am regular customer give them tips .

Overall, I cannot recommend this restaurant. There are many significantly better options at the main train station. We were on the first floor of the restaurant, and unfortunately, our visit was disappointing. The food was average at best, and in some cases, borderline unacceptable. The kebab was very greasy and oily, as if it had been deep-fried rather than pan-fried. The chicken skewer was undercooked, and the half chicken had an unpleasant odor and was also unappealing in terms of taste. The rice was completely tasteless. The staff was adequate, but not particularly friendly or helpful.

Don't do this to yourselves!! There are tons of restaurants nearby that are worlds better. Our visit was a real disappointment. The kebab was so greasy it looked like it'd been oiled, the chicken skewer was half raw, and the half chicken smelled and tasted strange. The rice? Completely tasteless. The staff was okay, but they didn't seem to be making any real effort.

When I have time, I'll be at Slemani Grill on Dachauer Straße in Munich every day. Great food, cheap prices, very good and friendly staff. Thank you, I'd love to come again.

I was there last night and I ordered kabab for takeaway. The quality of the food(Kabab) was terrible. The meat was totally raw so I had to throw it in the trash.

Today I went to the traditional restaurant Sulaimaniye and it was a truly wonderful experience! The Koobideh kebab was simply perfect – juicy, aromatic, and incredibly delicious. The atmosphere was warm and cozy and reminded me of real, homemade food. I will definitely be back, because this was one of the best Koobideh I have ever eaten! 🌿🔥

I have been coming here for over 7years by now and I have to say that this is my favourite restaurant in town - perfect location, decent price for excellent quality (especially the bread) and a feeling of "home". They have changed the appearance of the food occasionally over time but stuck to what matters: good overall quality of the food. PS: Try out the sheep head on Sundays if you're into smth special :-D.

We had pre-ordered and paid for pacha in the morning. When we returned in the afternoon, we were told that our pacha had been given to other guests, even though we had paid for it! This is absolutely unprofessional and disrespectful to paying customers. We then ordered something else, but the portions were smaller than before and the taste was quite average. Very disappointing.

I really enjoyed the mix grill – the lamb and beef kebab with rice were cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The mix hummus and fresh salad were delicious and balanced the meal beautifully. Everything was well presented and very satisfying.

Overall, a great restaurant. My only complaint is that our dürüm arrived cold on our plates. (Tip: the grilled tomatoes aren't worth it.) Since I was looking forward to something warm to eat, this was a bit disappointing. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

The halloumi durum is pretty bland. The bun isn't particularly interesting either. We got five different sauces on it, which doesn't really make it any better. He was a nice guy, though.
