Delicious halal food .. the shawarma is huge and filling .. and breakfast we ordered eggs which wr served with bread all good .. its a go to place for good food any time ..

I don't usually write reviews, but in this case, I have to. Taste-wise, it was the worst doner kebab I've ever eaten. The bread was cold and not fresh. The staff was very unfriendly, and it was also far too expensive. I would never get food from there again.

Two weeks ago, I went to a restaurant with my family. There were five of us, and we ordered kebabs. Unfortunately, the food wasn't served at the same time: the plates for two people arrived first, and the others didn't receive their food until about five minutes later. This was very inconvenient, as we are a family and wanted to eat together. Furthermore, we only received two pieces of bread for five people. When I asked for more bread, I was given only two additional pieces—even though most other restaurants include two pieces of bread per person with every kebab. We sat in a corner of the restaurant, but the seat was very uncomfortable because the couch cushion was damaged and worn out. When it came time to pay, I wanted to pay by card, but I was told that only cash was accepted. I left a €2.50 tip, but there was no acknowledgment whatsoever—the tip clearly didn't appeal to him at all. Unfortunately, the service was practically nonexistent, and sadly, this is a common problem in many Arab restaurants.

So, we used to travel all the way to Munich to eat at Sindbad's. This wasn't the first time since the move. The staff is incredibly rude and unenthusiastic. I ordered a falafel, and he asked me if I wanted it in dürüm bread or Arabic bread. Then I got my sandwich in a completely different kind of bread!! Why even ask me? I'm not going back there. There are much better places in the area. What a shame. I have to add that the falafel sandwich you made me, which wasn't in typical Iraqi bread, was thrown away. It tasted disgusting!! Since when do you dip falafel sandwiches in grease? Are you serious? You should be sued. Simply disgusting.

Unfortunately, it was terrible. I ordered a kebab sandwich. Even a dog wouldn't eat that.

Worst doner kebab we've ever eaten. What can you say? Small bread, lots of salad, and very little meat. The taste was simply awful, but the price was great (€9) 🤨 We threw it away.

Very rude. I ordered at the front, then sat down in the restaurant. Staff came and told me to get up just because I had ordered at the front, and gave my seat to someone else. I then had to eat my doner kebab outside in the rain. Shame on you, very rude! That was the first and last time I'll eat here.

The waiters used to be bad, but we still sometimes came. Today we waited 25-26 minutes for two waitresses and they didn't come, so we left. We don't recommend it.

€18 for two Adana kebabs with fries is reasonable. The salad, however, was bad. There was no dressing. I had to order that separately for €2. I was disappointed, and the restaurant deserves its rating.

I don't recommend eating at this restaurant, if you can even call it that. I've never tasted a worse kebab in my life; it tasted awful and was dry. We went to this place because it was right next to our hotel, to avoid any hassle. I hope this review helps you avoid making the same mistake.

The worst restaurant in Munich, without a doubt!!! The food is more like fast food and overpriced! The doner meat (veal) is always greasy, mushy, and tastes like rubber!! The tables are always dirty, and if they do "clean" them, they reek of the disgusting cloth they use!! The toilets are a complete disaster!! The food was cold. The grilled meats had no sauce. The fries were cold and stale. Not recommended. And the prices are outrageous for the taste and service.

The kebab was good, but the atmosphere for eating was terrible: very little space, lots of noise, and lots of people walking and moving around you. I had to wait quite a while to pay, and on top of that, they literally demand a tip. If you say no, they give you a dirty look. Besides, what tip am I supposed to leave if all you're doing is taking my money? I got my food and drink myself from the bar. If I go back, it'll be for takeaway, although there are better and cheaper options in the city.

The grilled dishes were not tasty at all and were undercooked. They lacked seasoning – I could hardly have eaten them without extra salt. On top of that, the service was very unfriendly 😣

Honestly, I got a chicken shawarma sandwich from them. The chicken was raw. Unfortunately, it was bad.

Unfortunately, the experience wasn't good. The place was very cramped and uncomfortable, and I ordered two Arabic shawarma meals and two crispy meals. The employee tried to cancel the crispy meals, claiming they would be delayed. I agreed to wait, but the quality wasn't good—the shawarma wasn't cooked well and needed more time on the grill. The service was also unprofessional. When I asked to take an uneaten meal with me, they gave me a plate and a bag to fill it myself at the table. This is unbecoming behavior for a restaurant of this price. The price was exaggerated compared to the quality of the food and service. I hope the service and quality will improve in the future.

Truly an absolute disaster. A colleague and I wanted to have a kebab there for dinner. Because they were out of pocket bread, we had to have a durum... which wouldn't even be a big problem. After waiting 20 minutes in the empty restaurant, we finally got our durum with chicken. First of all, the sauce was inedible. The meat was still bloody on the inside, so we couldn't eat any more of the durum after 3-4 bites. Then that night, my colleague spent half the night drenched in sweat in the bathroom because he had to vomit up all the muck and almost choked. The next day we were battling brutal diarrhea, so we had to go to the emergency room to get medication to stop our problem. I would never go there again in my entire life and I absolutely do not recommend it. Unfortunately, it's not possible to give 0 stars, because 1 star is still too many. The place should be inspected, it's an absolute disgrace!!!

The kebab is good but the appetizers are not that delicious and the cake is good

One of the best shawarmas I've ever had in Europe! I came to Oktoberfest and after the Oktoberfest closed that night, I tried this incredible shawarma! It truly made my evening wonderful! Thanks to the guys at this place for their friendliness and hospitality! 🍻🇩🇪🤝👍👍👍

Yesterday I tried a shawarma sandwich. The guy standing on the skewer cut the skewer without grilling it. It was disgusting. I swear to God, this food disgusted me.

The restaurant used to be good, but today I got 2 falafel and 1 doner kebab for €24. Stale bread and only 2 falafel with each roll. What a shame! If anyone brings something, the doner kebab roll will only be meat, no salad. The service and the staff are below par. I will never eat here again. Everything is below par, unfortunately. FYI: The restaurant employee unfortunately feels like he's the president of the republic and owns the world.

If you’re a regular, they treat you well and give you big portions. If you’re a tourist or visiting for the first time, they charge you a lot and give you small portions. That's what I could see during the long time I was waiting. Also, they attended first the regulars while making the others wait for longer At first, when I finally managed to get their attention, I asked if there was any menu. They said no, said something in their language, and I asked for a regular kebab, or otherwise just a normal dish, whatever they had, and they didn’t understand me. Then the guy just carried on with what he was doing, they prepared a plate in front of me, gave it to someone else, and that happened two more times. When I finally managed to get their attention again, the guy called another one, who stood in front of me and said in English: “Well, but do you have money?” He made me show him my wallet, shoved a card reader in front of me, and made me pay an amount without knowing how much, without knowing what I had ordered, or even if I had actually ordered anything. Then they just carried on, and I was about to leave but I had already paid. After about 20 more minutes standing there waiting, they gave me some kind of kebab with lots of spices, a bit rancid, but edible.

Worst Dürum I had in a while. Poor quality meat, no spices and expensive for what it is.

Halal and very good, reasonable prices, and they speak Arabic and English.

Our experience today, September 6, 2025, was unfortunately very bad. We ordered half a chicken with two biryani rice dishes, along with a crispy meal. The rice was cold and the chicken wasn't cooked through. The salad was tasteless and had no appearance. The crispy was also tasteless. Unfortunately, it felt like the falafel had been fried in oil. However, the portion was good and the bread was fresh.

Today we were there, the service is awful we wated for shawarma more than 30 minutes, which is in the category of "fast food" in the menu. When the first time I asked where is our shawarma he said it comes in 2 minutes, after 10 minutes I asked again he said it comes in 3 minutes 🤦‍♂️. We also asked for the ayran which never came. When we were paying before living he asked do we want an ayran. Completely dissatisfied with the service, two points, because food tasted good.

Grilled kofte in durum bread is fresh and tasty. A little sauce would have been nice to make it less dry. One of the few places where you can get kofte as a snack for €10. Staff are stressed and chat among themselves instead of with customers. The atmosphere is like a not-so-clean snack bar.

The restaurant has delicious food and the prices are reasonable.

Best shawarma in Munich. Normally when I order fresh juice,I get fresh but today mango juice was not fresh and they took 6 euro for packed juice and it was not good also

The food is delicious and the staff are Arab and helpful. We had a late lunch, but the price is a bit exaggerated. I recommend it in terms of cleanliness and the food is halal.

The food was okay, but the wait times were outrageous. It took me 30 minutes to even order. The food took another 20 minutes, and paying took another 15 minutes. Even though I called the employee several times, he didn't seem to care. The employees are all unfriendly. Sitting across from me were Arab customers who were treated excellently. Everything went quickly with them, and they have priority. If you're not Arab, you shouldn't eat here.

Bad treatment, disrespectful workers

The average shawarma with veal in a sesame bun wasn't very convincing, but you can't go wrong with the regular grilled dishes. Unfortunately, the cleanliness on site could be improved.

The food is very average, nothing special about it. The prices are very expensive, and on top of that, it takes a 19% tip. As for me, I will never go back to this place.

Ordered chicken skewers with fries. We didn't get any sauce. We were given yogurt sauce upon request (5 minutes before we were finished eating). The meat was very dry, with some gristle. The pieces of meat were noticeably smaller than before. When we got the bill, they wanted to charge us €7 for the sauce... what a disgrace. Value for money, not recommended.

The food was quick, convenient, and delicious, and the service was excellent. We were undecided about the location, but we didn't regret sitting down and eating there. We each ordered a dish, but we could have shared it, as it's a lot of food. The service was a bit disappointing, but otherwise, everything was fine.

Disappointing experience. The service was poor, and the bread was served cold. I should have trusted the 3.4 rating on Google Maps—I gave this place a chance, but I truly regret not going to the other nearby restaurant instead. Definitely not worth it.

We waited over 30 minutes for our food, while others who ordered after us were served before us. When we asked politely, they treated us like we were begging for free food. The attitude was unbelievable. Then came the food – and it was an absolute disaster. • The meat was undercooked, dangerously so. • Everything tasted bland, greasy, and low quality. On top of that, the restaurant was filthy – dirty floors, sticky tables, and no sign of basic cleanliness or hygiene. I’m shocked this place is even allowed to operate. If you care about your health, your money, or basic human decency, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. This isn’t just a bad restaurant – it’s a joke. A complete disgrace to the food industry.

The food is very excellent and the bread is very good, may Allah bless them. The grills are delicious and the shawarma is delicious. But what ruined it for us was the employee who takes the orders. I don't know what his condition was. He served everyone there until we called more than once after sitting down to get the menu and we asked more than once to get our order. It was as if he treated us with racism. Maybe he doesn't like certain countries. It's a shame for a restaurant this delicious to have employees like this who treat us according to their moods. The order came incomplete and it took him another hour to bring it until I told him you are deliberately making us late because you came. We hope the management will look into this matter.

I recently visited this place and ordered the grilled chicken and beef kebab—both were truly delicious, well-seasoned, and cooked to perfection. However, the sides completely ruined the experience. The French fries were soggy and lacked flavor, and the Brot (bread) served with the meal was as cold as ice cream. I brought this up with the waiter, hoping for a replacement, but was simply told, “This is all we have.” That level of service was disappointing. While the main dishes were impressive, the poor quality of the sides and the unhelpful response from the staff bring the overall rating down to just 2 stars. The ambiance doesn’t help either—there’s no proper dine-in atmosphere. The seating area is right by a busy, crowded street, which makes it far from relaxing. It’s much better suited for takeaway. On a separate visit, I tried the Shawarma for takeaway, and that was quite good—so if you're looking for a quick bite on the go, it might still be worth a try. However, my dine-in experience was far from satisfying. To top it off, the waiter even asked for a tip despite refusing to replace the cold bread and fries. Overall, very disappointing service.

An experience you won't repeat. First: Expensive prices. Second: The shawarma is grilled chicken and the rest is bread. It has no taste, God bless. The chicken and meat are in very small quantities in the sandwich. I only went once and I've been forbidden from going back.

Very popular and busy takeaway with some seating inside and out. Huge menu of combinations of meats, breads and rice. Food was variable. Chicken kebab was very tasty and well cooked, lamb kebab was tough and less easy to eat. Service was fast and very friendly. Did expect a tip for table service.

Food was awful! I don't know why there are a lot of people in this café, because the shawarma that we ordered was absolutely horrible! The meat was RAW and I'm not sure if it was beef or chicken, because we ordered beef and they gave us chicken!!! It lacked SALT and the cashier was RUDE!!! I didn't expect to find this low level café in MUNICH!!! We threw it to the trash because this is where it belongs! I wouldn't even feed my dog this food!!! Overall, it's 0 stars. On Google, the whole of Germany has a schwarma plate, just like the photo, but their doner plate is called a schwarma plate. The employees and boss are totally disrespectful; they need to treat customers more kindly. No, no, no, no again...horrible.

Worst meal I've had in ages! The staff just threw the food onto the flatbread, and the amount of meat and side dishes was ridiculous. For €8 (Dürum), the value for money isn't right at all! Go somewhere else instead.
