One of the best Iraqi restaurants in Munich. Excellent service and delicious food, whether it's grilled meats or rice dishes. I thank the restaurant staff for their service, quality, and delicious food.

Food is on the expensive side, especially the fresh drinks. Food was generally average in quality.

The food was far too dry. We ordered three dishes, and it took an extremely long time. The lady wasn't particularly polite to us either. But maybe we were too white. Who knows? We'll definitely never be back!

Pleasant atmosphere and delicious food, but the waiter was rude a few times: He told us they didn't have a 0.5-cent bottle of sparkling water, it had to be a 1-liter bottle. He brought us an open bottle from the kitchen, and it cost €7!! (a half bottle cost €2.50). To make matters worse, we weren't informed that we couldn't pay by card, but had to pay in cash, even though the law requires it. A poor service experience in such a good restaurant. A shame.

Darya Restaurant is an Iraqi-style restaurant serving traditional Iraqi dishes. They use halal meat and, as I was told, the head chef is a woman, making the dishes more like home cooking. When I wanted to pay the bill, the cashier told me that credit cards were not accepted and that they only accept cash.

The food was acceptable, but the price did not seem to reflect its value. Furthermore, the card machine was out of order, and only cash was accepted. I would not recommend this establishment considering the price, taste, service and credit card not working.

Peace be upon you. I swear to God that the food is not good. The second thing my family and I ate from it made our stomachs ache. I swear that I was tired after eating it. I do not recommend trying it. It does not deserve it. There are many other restaurants. He did another thing to me, which is that when I first entered, I told him, “Do you have a credit card?” which is a network card. He said, “Yes.” After I finished and told him, he said, “Cash!!!”

Really great, surprisingly great food, the starter sampler and grilled meats (grilled over a charcoal fire) were really really awesome! The fatoush salad was great as well!

I ordered kebab and qouzi with tabsi. Of course, the tabsi was very undercooked and stale. You order food and they don't serve you appetizers or soup. Appetizers cost 13 euros. They put four bowls in each bowl, which means they're not good at all. Even the tea was expensive. A very bad experience. I unfortunately do not recommend anyone who has a taste for food to go there!! The tapsi was cold and alright. There was no pre-order before the main meal - I had to separate a small pre-order for one person, which was 13 euros. For this amount, the price is very high. Definitely last minute - I can't recommend this restaurant.

Good food, horrible service. Asked a couple of the male waiters a few times for some items, they would acknowledge and walk away and after telling a couple of them and waiting for 30 mins, asked the female waiter and she took care of me in a few mins.

Derya is a very good Arabic restaurant in the Ludwigvorstadt district. The menu is extensive (which is often a bad sign), but every dish was explained. The staff is really very friendly. The bread is really delicious. The rest of the food is too. The portions are generous. I'd be happy to go back.

I ate at Derya Restaurant with my companion and was absolutely thrilled! We had number 103 (Mshkel Kebab Ruz) and number 45 (Kouskoussi with lamb) – both were incredibly delicious! The meat was super tender, perfectly seasoned, and simply delicious. I would also like to particularly highlight the appetizer with hummus, yogurt, salad, spicy sauce, and Arabic bread – a really great start. The service was very friendly and attentive, and we immediately felt at home. The entire ambiance is traditional and cozy, with great attention to detail. All in all, a fantastic evening – from the service to the taste, everything was just perfect. Highly recommended! 👍🏼💯

We ordered mixed grill, a plate of musabaha, and rice with saffron. The shaqaf was dry and tough, and the rice had no flavor.

Kurdish Iraqi restaurant. I ordered a very delicious kebab in a large quantity. I ordered a plate for one person, but it was enough for two. Their service was excellent, they were smiling, and they made everything fresh from the bread. The most important thing is that it is halal.

Throw your money somewhere else, we were a whole family there and we ordered lamb skewers, lamb meat like rubber and there were dry fries, the only bread was fresh but the price per head was around 23 euros.

We ordered a variety of grilled food and chicken. The meat was like a car tire, it was very tough. The chicken was written to be grilled, but it was supposed to be grilled on charcoal or a gas grill. Unfortunately, it was fried in oil, and there was more than 100 ml of oil under it. It had no taste at all. The food and meat were of the worst quality. The prices are very expensive compared to Sindbad. We paid 6 people approximately 150 euros for a meal with yogurt. One of the worst experiences in my life. I would never recommend it to anyone, and the projects are worse. I tried more than one Iraqi restaurant in Munich, and the taste was very acceptable compared to this restaurant.

Unfortunately, the food here isn't as tasty anymore. It used to be much better. The chicken skewers are tasteless, the lamb tikka is hard as rubber, the kebabs are burnt and flavorless. You order grilled chicken, but you get it deep-fried. The appetizer tastes like canned food. I used to enjoy going there often with family and guests, but never again.

I told them that the food should be cooked to a high standard. The kebab was not cooked inside, the shish tawook was inedible at all, the potatoes were dry, the bread was cold and they said the bread was spicy. They brought me very cold bread and the fattoush was average. To be honest, the appetizers were good and the tea was excellent. I am very upset with them for all the praise, but we did not like anything to the point that we left the food as it was. It was bad. Their service is somewhat acceptable and the guys are good, but in general, I will not repeat the experience. I hope you develop in the future. The guy who took the order should be upset, so he should try the kebab and you will pray for me. Unfortunately, it is very bad.

I’d rate it around 3.5 out of 5. Hygiene standards could definitely be improved, and the food quality was quite average. I also got the impression that many of the overly positive reviews might be from friends or relatives, as they don’t quite reflect the reality we experienced. Ordered a mandi fleish and couscous chicken. Both were very dry and a little bland. The aubergine sauce was very good but the bean sauce tasted like baked beans out of a can. The staff were very nice but the food wasn't.

An unassuming restaurant, one you wouldn't wander into by chance. Following a recommendation, we enjoyed the huge portions of delicious food. The appetizer platter and the kebab were fantastic. I only have to deduct a point for the restrooms.

Being a relatively demanding client with something to compare with, the 4.5 rating is undeserved in my opinion. The waitress forgot about the second tea and walked around in soiled clothes. Yes, it’s not critical, but it does affect the impression. The food is interesting: I was completely dissatisfied with the pilaf, the strange, unlike anything else taste of the rice (I rate it 3/10), but at the same time the chicken and lamb were delicious, well fried, charred in places, very fatty. It won't suit everyone, but it's an oriental style. I expected more from the atmosphere, from the photo it was a restaurant, but in reality it was a cafe

Large selection of good food at good prices

The food was really great. I have never experienced such nice waiters, the service was great, the starters were really tasty.

The mixed grills (shish tawook and awsal) were luxurious and delicious. The Iraqi kebab was smaller than expected. The bread was authentic, as if it was cooked in the country. The hummus was a bit light in consistency. The overall place was comfortable and the staff were friendly.

They don’t even see the online reservations so whats the point? There was no place to sit, and they just sheepishly smiled and then ignore us standing at the restaurant. We told multiple times that we have a reservation but they kept on ignoring us. We had to finally go out in anger. We were fasting and wanted to open our fast at the restaurant. But because of this we have to go to some other restaurant which we could find after 1.5 hours. Terrible experience

It is one of the worst restaurants I have been to. It is not suitable for humans. The grape leaves are ruined, the kebab is stale and bad, and it smells bad, and the smell of the meat is not good. I do not recommend it. We left the order because it would cause us a gastrointestinal illness.

Fast service and a wood-fired grill always active to churn out unlimited skewers. €55 for two: tekka chicken ruz (chicken skewers with rice and various vegetables including the aromatic raw German sauerkraut) tekka lahm beryani (lamb skewers with vegetables and rice with cumin, 4 slices of very hot Arabic bread/piadina, 1 can of Coca, 1 of spray and 1 baklava (how delicious!). You don't pay for the service. A little order and attention to detail in the environment and it would be 5 stars.

It was a really delicious meal. I ordered Terra Chicken, and it came with grilled chicken skewers. I liked that it didn't have a strong spice taste or smell! The price was around €14.

Tasty food and obviously popular with locals

I ordered 1 too good to good. The employee tells me that I have to pay 1€ for the container otherwise bring mine back. Certainly, this was clarified in the too good to go. However, it's really cheap knowing that the container is worthless (Styrofoam container) and what's more, it's for anti-waste food that might end up in the trash anyway. I told him that I was a tourist, he could have at least made the effort (it's my first time in Germany) and not charged me. However, the dish met too good to go's expectations: the dish was OK, but this can be normal with a dish ordered on Too good to go. There was too much rice. I was asked to confirm the collection even though I had not received it, fortunately I received it: in principle, confirmation of the collection is only made upon receipt of the order.
