Derya Restaurant in München

Very, very good and tasty restaurant. I had ordered food and unfortunately the delivery person mixed up orders so I got the wrong thing. In return I was given kebab skewers next time. Incredibly nice, thank you very much for that! I would love to come back to eat again!

Being a relatively demanding client with something to compare with, the 4.5 rating is undeserved in my opinion. The waitress forgot about the second tea and walked around in soiled clothes. Yes, it’s not critical, but it does affect the impression. The food is interesting: I was completely dissatisfied with the pilaf, the strange, unlike anything else taste of the rice (I rate it 3/10), but at the same time the chicken and lamb were delicious, well fried, charred in places, very fatty. It won't suit everyone, but it's an oriental style. I expected more from the atmosphere, from the photo it was a restaurant, but in reality it was a cafe

Large selection of good food at good prices

The food was really great. I have never experienced such nice waiters, the service was great, the starters were really tasty.

The mixed grills (shish tawook and awsal) were luxurious and delicious. The Iraqi kebab was smaller than expected. The bread was authentic, as if it was cooked in the country. The hummus was a bit light in consistency. The overall place was comfortable and the staff were friendly.

good food, huge portions, you always get full 😅 prices are good. The manager is better than the employees and almost always works with them. Employees could work a little faster and be more attentive. The meat should be a little softer and well cooked...Otherwise it fits and is recommended.

The food was really delicious! We had a mix of different starters and everything was delicious, especially the Batates Harra and the Fatayer bil Sabanech! 🙌🏼

We had a reservation and they didnt give us a table.

They don’t even see the online reservations so whats the point? There was no place to sit, and they just sheepishly smiled and then ignore us standing at the restaurant. We told multiple times that we have a reservation but they kept on ignoring us. We had to finally go out in anger. We were fasting and wanted to open our fast at the restaurant. But because of this we have to go to some other restaurant which we could find after 1.5 hours. Terrible experience

The inside of the skewered meat was bloody, the waiter did not react even though I showed it on the plate :) Turkish restaurant was written on the map. It has nothing to do with Arab Restaurants and Arab Food+Restaurants, it made me repent, thank you. It was simply disgusting.

Estuve en Munich por unos días y tendría comida árabe así que buscando por internet y encuentra este Restaurante como primera opción así que con menos comentarios tuve dudas en visitar pero decidí visitar tan reservado e hice una reserva, y visité el restaurante y tener esta gran experiencia con tan deliciosa Kabab árabe con subida y verduras servidas con panes árabes frescos, fue realmente una experiencia increíble, estoy realmente disfrutado con tan buena comida y personal amable y más rápido incluso con reservas completas durante Ramadán Iftar , Muchas gracias.

It is one of the worst restaurants I have been to. It is not suitable for humans. The grape leaves are ruined, the kebab is stale and bad, and it smells bad, and the smell of the meat is not good. I do not recommend it. We left the order because it would cause us a gastrointestinal illness.

You leave here full. Problem is, I've been coming here for years. And everything looks the same. Salad, dishes, interior. You simply lose interest in Derya. If you improve there. More modern things, crockery and, above all, something that makes the food more lively by designing the salad a little differently and not always the same thing, which is boring. Sorry, but you would work a lot more and win a lot more. Have a nice day and see you sometime perhaps.

Fast service and a wood-fired grill always active to churn out unlimited skewers. €55 for two: tekka chicken ruz (chicken skewers with rice and various vegetables including the aromatic raw German sauerkraut) tekka lahm beryani (lamb skewers with vegetables and rice with cumin, 4 slices of very hot Arabic bread/piadina, 1 can of Coca, 1 of spray and 1 baklava (how delicious!). You don't pay for the service. A little order and attention to detail in the environment and it would be 5 stars.

It was a really delicious meal. I ordered Terra Chicken, and it came with grilled chicken skewers. I liked that it didn't have a strong spice taste or smell! The price was around €14.

We went here for lunch followed good reviews . Unfortunately didn't cover our expectations. My husband had a lamb ...it was chewie and fatty. I had a soup wich was tasteless.

I ordered 1 too good to good. The employee tells me that I have to pay 1€ for the container otherwise bring mine back. Certainly, this was clarified in the too good to go. However, it's really cheap knowing that the container is worthless (Styrofoam container) and what's more, it's for anti-waste food that might end up in the trash anyway. I told him that I was a tourist, he could have at least made the effort (it's my first time in Germany) and not charged me. However, the dish met too good to go's expectations: the dish was OK, but this can be normal with a dish ordered on Too good to go. There was too much rice. I was asked to confirm the collection even though I had not received it, fortunately I received it: in principle, confirmation of the collection is only made upon receipt of the order.

Hello We ordered dates, beans, chicken, kebab, and tikka. The food was cold, tasteless, and stale. When we left the restaurant, we were poisoned. We returned and the restaurant was crowded and the service was very bad and there was a delay.

We came here on Christmas day. We had reserved a table online a few days in advance. Once we arrived the place was packed, but the staff prepared us a table swiftly. The food was fantastic, especially the yogurt dips.

Super tasty, authentic food. I felt reminded of my vacation in Turkey. The lamb liver is particularly recommended.

Unfortunately, the food was not even can consider as Iraqi food, the test not even near. I have order tekka chicken, and they mixed with some cary spice that not supposed to use to ! Otherwise, everything was perfect, the service was really amazing and very welcoming. If ai gonna to visit again, will do that only for wieter and service. And might be will try something else. But I would recommend to avoid use any spicy that mighty be diffuse food test

I had dinner here with some colleagues. The service was great, but the food was inedible. It was still pretty raw and overall everything was pretty bland. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend it.

Wanted to like this place, but the meat was very dry and the meal not much substance, mostly bland rice. Falafel was oily but decent. In addition the service wasn’t the best, the waiter seemed to brush off us receiving the wrong order and didn’t hand me change directly for some reason. Recommend trying other places instead.

A tiring treatment that will not be repeated

Unfortunately a very big disappointment. We booked for 9 people. We were all dissatisfied. Salad and dressing was very bad. The rice was not cooked properly or was a few days old. We all had a grill plate, everyone had trouble eating the meat because it simply wasn't prepared properly. Here, too, no solution can be suggested upon request. We were shocked at how bad a restaurant can be, not to mention the service. We also asked the waiter why he was doing a job he didn't like. Unfortunately, it makes the name of Arabic cuisine bad…

One of the best middle eastern restaurants I have been in Bavaria. The server Dorid was amazing. He was above and beyond suggesting all the great food. The fish plate was amazing and also the mixed grill. Their appetizers combo was wow. A must try place.

The food is average, but the service is absolutely awful. Rude, slow, really slow! We were trying to be patient but everything always took ages. Food was served lukewarm, taste was only ok at best. When it was time to pay the server very rudely said they didn’t take credit cards and that it was written on the front door. My husband went out to get cash, paid and the server didn’t even acknowledge his existence. Oh, and by the way, there was nothing on the door saying they don’t take credit cards, there was even a sticker for „Amex“. So unprofessional! Avoid at all costs!

Only four stars for the food, because yogurt sauce on the salad is not part of a traditional Iraqi meal and doesn't taste good at all! At least it should be stated in advance and written on the card that yogurt will be included!
