Derya Restaurant in München

The food is average, but the service is absolutely awful. Rude, slow, really slow! We were trying to be patient but everything always took ages. Food was served lukewarm, taste was only ok at best. When it was time to pay the server very rudely said they didn’t take credit cards and that it was written on the front door. My husband went out to get cash, paid and the server didn’t even acknowledge his existence. Oh, and by the way, there was nothing on the door saying they don’t take credit cards, there was even a sticker for „Amex“. So unprofessional! Avoid at all costs!

Das Essen war Lecker. Muss man nur der richtige Tag erwischen, wenn weniger los ist der service sehr gut.

Essen war sehr lecker und alles war sehr sauber. Mir hat ganz besonders den Beten-Platz und den Tee nach dem Essen. Ich würde immer gerne dorthin gehen

Service ist schlecht. Man wartet ewig lang. Das Essen geht. Für vier Personen kriegt man kleinen Tisch, wo die Teller fast übereinander gestellt, weil man keinen Platz auf dem hat.

Das Restaurant Kalash ist schön und sauber

It was recommended by my friend and I had a bad experienced, the food was uncooked and the atmosphere is not upgraded. The WC is very unclean.

Leider war das Essen nicht wie Erwartet. Das Fleisch war nicht gut, zusätzlich nicht genug gegrillt und der Kellner war nicht sehr freundlich. Das Fladenbrot war hingegen sehr gut zubereitet.

Sehr leckeres Essen, am meisten empfehle ich das kurdische Kebab.

Sehr gutes Essen und preislich auch ganz Okey. Komme gerne vorbei.

Ich werde hier 2 Sterne abziehen, denn: ✅Von Menge her, waren die Portionen groß und ausreichend, ✅das Brot war frisch und selbstgemacht, ❗️Vorspeisen waren gut aber Fattoush-salad war z.B. wenig. ✅Mitarbeiter sehr höflich und nett. ❌der Fleisch war beim Spieß-Kebab roh und nicht durch. Also es war auch fettig. ❌Zahlen per Karte war nicht möglich. Wir hatten zum Glück genug Bargeld dabei.

This is my 2nd visit to this restaurant and found that taste of food was same. Both time, I enjoyed the food. However, my moral responsibility is that I should also point out the weakness for the sake of improvement. My observations are:- 1. The music volume was too high and was creating lot of disturbance. 2. One of the bread(chappati), served at the table was badly burnt and was not worth eating( Pic is attached) I wish management should take positive measures to make customer friendly. The food was impeccable, I thoroughly enjoyed the food. The meat was well cooked and it was so tender . Especially people who can eat a lot I would recommend it ! The portion of the food was just wow . The service provided by them was so welcoming and friendly . I would definitely recommend to have this experience.

The food was amazing and so delicious . The hygiene was top . The staff was very warm and friendly that it felt like I was invited to somebody’s home . Overall it was a topper . Definitely recommend it !

Always full restaurant, I can recommend to get the minced kebab skewer, but: one that… nothing else. Hummus tasted off and other meat dishes were very disappointing. Again, that one kebab is very good.

Friendly personnel and multiple food choices. Yet the food is very average. I wouldn't dare to try another plate. The rice was dry. Not recommend.

I was recommended this place by the concierge at my hotel because I was looking for middle eastern bbq. The area is not the nicest, strip clubs everywhere and just men standing around vans and cars. Luckily, I was fine on my own. As I was reading the menu outside the restaurant, I asked one of the waiters if they had an English version, he quickly said No, and walked away. I decided that I would still try the food and just google translate. I sat down thankfully not in that waiters section, and the one who attended me was very nice and although he didn't speak English, we managed to figure out what I wanted. There is an English translation right in their menu, btw, and with pictures. Food was great, it came out fairly quickly, and I had the chicken biryani. The bread/pita was nice and fluffy, the middle part was a little on the dry, thin side but still edible. Overall, good food, and if you have the right person, good service. Also, CASH ONLY 👎🏼

مطعم جيناه بالصدفه .. الاكل جبااااار طلبنا كبسة لحم ومندي لحم ومندي دجاج ومشاوي مشكله وتبوله وحمص وكبه .. بصراحه لذيذ لذيذ والأكل فرش .. ربي يبارك له ويبارك في العاملين في المطعم .. محترميين جداً وخلوقيين

Es hat gut geschmeckt. Den Preis finde ich ein bisschen zu hoch. Die Kellner sind permanent überfordert, aber nett.

It was a good sign when we walked in and saw two extended families enjoying their meals in the corners of the dining room. It had a nice family friendly feel to it. The food was great - and relatively inexpensive - and the service was good. They have an extensive menu with three languages including English. The only downside is they only take cash despite having credit card symbols on their door.

Was my local for 3 years, got taken over by new management with new staff, overall the food and service remained consistent, perhaps after a blip. Well prepared and presented dishes, my usual is biryani rice with lamb shank slow cooked and tender, comes with bowl of curry, tasty salad and huge nan, washed down with traditional tea. It is a large meal so come prepared. Great quality and value for money. Traditional Iraqi decor, nice ambience. Friendly service, English spoken, or will try.
